Guardian Angel

Summary:

This Danny didn't become a Halfa, a human-ghost hybrid. He became a Nephilim, a human-angel hybrid. Then he falls.

...

Now more than 1 One Shot, propably a series of 6 semi-connected Shots. Formerly called Nephilim.

Notes:

I consider writing another One Shot in this AU. Pariah Dark VS Nephilim Dante, anyone? Albeit my headcanon is angels and demons overpower ghosts, so Pariah would be down in a second.

...

Edit: More will come. Due to that, the work has been renamed, Nephilim is now the name of the first One Shot\Chapter only, not the whole work.

Chapter 1: Nephilim

Chapter Text

The last Daniel Janus Fenton remembered was how million volts of electricity ended his life in the most painful manner. The next thing he knew was he was standing in front of massive golden gates, surrounded by the brightest sky and clouds.

Then he noted a thin, but tall blonde man, wide blue eyes and a sad but hopeful smile standing at a podium a the gates. 'He must know.' popped into Danny's mind.

He walked to him and asked, "Excuse me, sir? What is this place? Where am I?"

The man sighed sadly and then explained, "You died, so now you're at the Pearly Gates. It is a shame when young souls die so soon, but if you landed here, you at least have a spot in Paradise."

Danny looked to the ground, shocked about what he just heard. He died. His life is over. "Paradise? So this is Heaven?" If he sees this despite being an atheist, looks like God is real. "But I am an atheist. Wait, does that mean you're Saint Peter?"

"The one and only. Yes, this is Heaven." he confirmed.

Heaven is real. So he will reunite with them. He doubts Sam, Tucker and Jazz won't go to hell... and his parents. Knowing that they will meet again, he relaxes. Saint Peter then asked for his name.

"Daniel Janus Fenton." he answered.

Saint Peter looked though his massive book, turning pages in search of Daniel's name. "I... can't find you." he said distressed. "Which means you aren't supposed to be dead, yet."

Then again, most minors aren't meant to die. Yet here he was.

"What now?" As Danny asked that, his body rippled, like a glitch in Tucker's games. Saint Peter closed his book and looked scared. Danny figured the glitching wasn't supposed to happen either.

"You know what, I call the head Seraphim. This-I have no idea how to handle this." decided Saint Peter. "Please wait here, Daniel."

So he waited. He looked away from the gates were Saint Peter flew and just reflected. If heaven is real, he has to wonder if ghosts are real as well. Did he and Jazz joke about their parent's profession for nothing? He has to apologize – he and Jazz weren't really secretive about their dislike – to them when they reunite. That is if they get into heaven.

While he does not think of them as bad people, he won't be surprised if disturbing the rest of the dead is considered to be sinful. For all he cares, creating a portal to the Ghost Zone could be considered as disturbing the peace of the dead.

But if he is here, doesn't that imply ghosts don't exist? Or did they try to break a portal to heaven? Maybe hell?

Danny was ripped out of his thoughts when he heard wings flap in the air. Turning around, he saw the gates opening and three angels flying out. One was Saint Peter, one was a tall dark skinned lady with three pairs of wings and the last a young woman with loose flowing hair.

"This is the boy, Miss Sera." said Peter, looking to Sera. Danny assumed she was the head Seraphim. "He glitches, Sera! There was never a case like this before!"

That got them worried. Sera said, "Peter, go back to your spot. Daniel, I am Sera, the head Seraphim and this is Emily. Please follow us. Emily, help him flying."

Emily approached him and took his hand. As she pulled him up, he felt something on his back. Taking a look behind, he saw pale blue – nearly white – wings on his back. They flapped automatically and he was in the air. As he realized that, the wings lost their rhythm and he lost control.

"Daniel, don't think about it, flying should be second nature." told him Emily. "At least it should come naturally to you."

Danny focused – instead of the fact he has wings – onto Emily and then Heaven. So far, he only saw the gates. The architecture of heaven is weird. And very shiny. The later isn't really a surprise, though, having seen the Pearly Gate.

They reached a tall building, over-viewing a good part of Heaven. They came into a room that seemed to be an office. Looks like some things don't change in the afterlife. There, Sera took a very close and thorough look of Danny, especially when he glitched.

This prompted her to ask, "Daniel, may I ask, how did you pass?"

"Sera! You can't just ask that!" chimed Emily in, sounding very offended.

'So asking about ones death is a social no-go.' noted Danny mentally, watching the Seraphim talk.

"I know, Emily. But we need to knew what is going on with Daniel." reasoned Sera. She turned back to Daniel. "And when did you pass away?"

"I... my parents build a portal to the ghost zone, at least they tried to. It failed and I tried to figure out why. They were so depressed about it." recalled Danny. "I died on the tenth September 2004, around four p.m I think?"

Hearing that, the two Seraphim peaked up. Emily muttered, "That wasn't even an hour ago..." She looked to Sera with a questioning look, then back to Danny. "Do you remember something between your-your death and appearing at the gates?"

"No? Should I?" he answered with his own question.

"Not necessarily. Daniel, you said your parents attempted to access the ghost zone... well, ghosts are real. Not everyone becomes a ghost. People who aren't worthy of heaven nor hell land there as a second chance at heaven." explained Sera. "Children are always send there, as most are neutral due to their age, even if they would have earned hell. But you skipped the Infinite Realms. Not unheard off... but you aren't in Saint Peter's book either. And the glitching..."

"Sera?" asked Emily.

"I... think you're half dead. you would have been half ghost, but due to the rule, your ghost half was made an angel." she said sadly. "But that also means you are half alive, I need to send you back to Earth."

"You can do that?" asked Emily.

"I don't know, I have never met someone only half dead!" answered Sera, clearly overwhelmed. "I would need to take your angel half, but it feels wrong. You earned the right to be an angel. I-I need to discuss his with the arch angels and elders! The youngest Judgment! Emily, would you mind keeping Daniel company?"

"Of course not, Sera!" answered Emily. "I show Daniel my favorite spots here in Heaven!"

"So that." agreed Sera as she vanished into a corridor.

After a while Sera called them back. Danny found her accompanied by two other figures. A female angel of thin build, gray clothes and a black halo – so cool, not going to lie - and a later thicker angel with horns and an inhuman face.

"So, this is the guy who failed to die?" asked the angel with the black halo.

"No need to be insulting, Lute. He gave Peter a scare, that deserves respect!" said the male angel.

Danny saw Sera rolling her eyes. "Daniel, these two are Lute and Adam. They were about to leave."

"No, we weren't." said Adam, correcting her.

"Adam like the first man?" asked Daniel.

"Yup! That one!" he confirmed. "Now. Sera and the others made a decision regarding you."

"And that is?" he asked nervously.

"Well, you can't stay here as you are alive, but you are an angel. You will continue being half dead, as you will be half an angel." revealed Sera. "You will walk earth and be able to switch between a human form and your angelic form. We will sometimes call you ti heaven. Daniel, sometimes you will need to fulfill tasks for us."

"And I may have already an idea what that may be." chimed Adam in.

"Well, this will render you a Nephilim, a human-angel hybrid." informed him Sera. "In that regard, I will now send you back. Please don't abuse your powers. Don't get me wrong, I won't demand that you become a Christ, but Heaven has expectations on you, Daniel. Oh, and no time will have passed when you return on earth. Please try to keep this a secret, Daniel."

"Of course." agreed Daniel. Then he was engulfed in light and he was gone.

"Now that this is over... we need to talk about... the thing." said Adam to Sera.

"Wait, about what expectations are you talking about?" asked Emily. "Is Danny in trouble?"

Sera was surprised at the nickname – then again this is Emily – so she answered her, "Well... I was informed by the Observants – ghostly servants of the All Mighty - that the boy is needed to avoid a worst case time line. This is the expectation."

"So he had no choice in the deal." realized Emily. "Well, when will he return?"

"Pretty soon, probably." guessed Adam.

Danny smelt burning cables as he returned to Earth, to the portal. He stumbled out and crashed on the floor – on his wings, he realized – then he saw Sam and Tucker. 'That much about keeping this a secret.' he thought. 'I am sorry, Sera.'

"Are-Are you an angel?"

'Looks like I gave Sam a religious crisis.' He then said, "Be more shocked about the fact that I am half dead." With that, he switched back to his human form. "On that note, I may be called to Heaven at times."

"I am sorry, dude, but I struggle to believe there isn't a spot in hell for you."

"Tucker!" yelled Sam.

'Normally I hate when we argue, but I am so glad to hear them argue.' he thought, 'Waiting their lives out in Heaven would be maddening.'

"What now?" asked Tucker carefully. "Now that you're, well, you know..."

In that moment, a ghost came out of the portal. As if it was an instinct, Danny attacked the Ghost with an Angelic blast. As the green blob slammed onto the ground, he weaved a golden rope of Angelic power and captured the Ghost, sending it back into the zone. "Guarding Amity Park, I suppose."

"So, you are a guardian angel? Fine. This is fine."

"Sam?"

"This is fine!"

Months had passed since the incident. He continued to fight the ghosts that pass though the portal, albeit quite a lot return as soon as they see him. Well, his alter ego. Apparently ghosts are afraid of angels. One ghostie, a tiny little blob called Skulker even told him, "Only demons are worse! Damn sadists!"

Danny established himself as Dante, the Guardian Angel of Amity Park. He, of course, visited Heaven a few times, even outside his odd jobs. After he met Vlad Plasmius, a half ghost, Danny was confused. Why was that guy not in hell? No way Vlad lands in Heaven. He should not judge, but even a blind person can tell there is a spot for him in Purgatory.

So he visited Sera shortly after and asked her, "Why is Vlad Masters only a half ghost?"

Her anticlimactic answer was, "Oh, Masters isn't actually half dead. He just got ghost powers. He emulates a ghost, if anything." She then added, "I doubt he is aware."

"That explains some things." muttered Danny.

"Well, now that this is discussed. Daniel, it is good that you're here." she said. "There is something we need to talk about."

"Oh, about what?" he asked.

"You remember Adam, right? He said he may have a job for you. Well..."

Then, said angel appeared and told Danny something quite surprising. "Kid, the following is somewhat classified, so listen well. Once a year, we send a type of angels into hell – exterminators – to hell to purge that place." revealed Adam way too excited for Danny's liking. "Hell's got an overpopulation issue."

"We watched you defend your town from the ghosts, so we considered if you should join the exterminators once a year." added Sera. "You are very able."

"And we need help. These pieces of shit figured out how to kill my exterminators." said Adam. "So I want you to join. You have experience beating asses. I mean, we won't drop you in blindly. My second in command Lute will train you before your first purge."

The thought of being a final death made him uncomfortable, but Danny had a hunch he had no actual choice in this. He could choose to become full human again, but Amity depends on him. "When do we start?" Well, he could die full, too. But he doesn't want to just yet. Danny doesn't want to throw away his remaining time on earth.

"Ah, I like your drive!"

Sera sighed at Adam's outburst. "Well, there are some areas off limits. As well as hell-born demons..."

A few months later, he joined the exterminators into hell, specifically into the Pride ring. Pentagram City.

Hell's not creative. He already saw the hotel Sera told him about. Run by the princess of hell, it is meant to redeem Sinners so that they can go into heaven. An alternative to the killing. Danny learned fast not to say anything positive about this, at least not around the exterminators.

He flew high in the sky, scanning the area before he spotted a frog like demon running into an ally. He dropped from the sky like a hawk after its prey before he opened his wings to glide. Daniel threw his spear and pierced the frog. Dark red splashes, Sinner's blood, sprayed from the body. Landing, he took his spear back. Danny was disgusted by the blood and looked away from the sinner he just ended.

Lute landed close by. "Good job on your first kill. I was worried you would be a pussy and chicken out. After all, you could just turn into a Winner and enjoy eternity." she praised him and at the same time insulted him, criticizing his choice. "But please refrain from anything that may leave you defenseless."

"Understood, Lute." he answered her. "Not letting go of the spear, then."

"Good, you learn fast." she said. As she flew away, she commanded, "Continue!"

He took back to the air, but stayed somewhat close to the ground. Danny flew though the urban area – a surprise considering how heaven looks like and what he expected of hell - and looked for his next target. He remembered what Lute said, but also what had happened right after he returned after he became a Nephilim. The angelic rope.

Danny summoned a rope and connected it to the spear. Now he won't loose it as easily.

He was rather close to the hotel when he saw a nearby building exploding. One of his 'honorary sisters' decided to change tactics, it seems. Part of the skyscraper dropped onto him and he fell onto he ground. His spear dropped a good bit away, but he found it again, thanks to the rope.

He followed the golden threat behind a fall. As he was about to pick it up, he saw a blonde woman – pretty darn tall, but not Sera levels of tall – who was about to pick it up as well. "Hey! Don't touch my spear!" he shouted, scaring her off. "Can't have stress with Lute on my first day."

She – white skin, yellow eyes with red pupils – stepped back and answered, "First day? Wait, you're a guy!"

"And?" He was more confused about her eyes. Her eyes are not of Sinners. "Your eyes, are you a native of hell?" Albeit he does feel an angelic aura around her. A disturbed aura, but still.

"I thought all exterminators are female... and yes, I am a hell-born." she answered. "After all, I am the princess of hell."

"Oh! In that case, I better leave. You're off limits, princess." he said. "Good luck with your hotel, I hope it works out."

Now she was the confused one. "Wait, you think my idea is good?"

"Well, it is better than this killing." he answered. "Man, I am not a good exterminator... seriously, I should leave. Sorry, but I need to do my job, I have no choice."

He flew away, leaving her wondering about the exterminator who dislikes his job. And is a dude.

"Vaggie! You said all exterminators are female!"

He may or may not have caught the attention of a cult, but who cares about the Cult of the blue feather? No one in Amity does. Well, they chilled out – some members even lost interest – after he revealed himself to be a Nephilim.

That incident was a dumpster fire. But it was still nothing compared to the Australian Bush Fire that was the aftermath of the C.A.T. Somehow this test revealed a time paradox. That timeline would have happened if he had become a half ghost like he was supposed to, according to a bunch of eye balls calling themselves the Observants. Despite him becoming a Nephilim., he still had the displeasure to met Dark Dan, his theoretical future self.

He also discovered why ghosts are afraid of angels and demons. Ghosts are nothing against angelic and demonic energy. No wonder he was told to hold back when fighting ghosts.

The second this issue was fixed – thank Clockwork – he was called to heaven. In front of the youngest judgment. The first thing Danny noted was Sera's fury, her eyes were furious, her additional eyes were out and her wings spread to look intimidating. Emily, on the other hand looked afraid and worried.

"Daniel Janus Fenton, due to the events that have been unfolded, your existent as a winner and exterminator had been revoked!" yelled Sera. "You will fall to Hell. As we can't kill your human half, you may make the best of your remaining time."

Daniel was shocked. More when he saw his alter ego. of a timeline if he was a half ghost and not a Nephilim. "This is unfair..."

"This isn't fair!" yelled Emily, storming in from the hallway. "Dark Dan is from an impossible time line! It makes no sense to punish our Danny!" Danny felt relieved, seeing that Emily was standing up to her, but is she enough? "Even Clockwork said-"

"Clockwork is a mere ghost! A direct servant to the Almighty, but still only a ghost." countered Sera. "No ghost's words over ride an angel's judgment."

"Sera!" cried Emily. "Danny helped beating Dark Dan! Doesn't that mean anything? And-And his duty?"

Danny had no idea what 'duty' referred to. Sure wasn't the exterminations, considering he joined those later. Guarding Amity wasn't it either.

"He did fulfill his duty and fought Dark Phantom." admitted Sera, hr flames subduing, some eyes retreating and her wings lowering. She became more composed. "But he still..." Sera did not finish her sentence. "Fine. He will get a lesser punishment."

So, something he did already. What did he do that could be demanded by Heaven? Stopping Freakshow? Fighting Pariah Dark? Beating Dark Phantom sure isn't it, it seems.

Emily sighed disappointed, so Danny told her, "Don't be disappointed, you did help, Em." He then asked Sera, "What is my punishment?"

"You will be banned from Heaven, you will still be a fallen angel. However you get to keep your wings." she explained her judgment. "You must go to hell once a year and suffer though the extermination. If you miss Extermination, your life will be cut short and you will become a full Sinner."

"Enjoy your time on earth!" said Adam way too excited for Danny's liking. "See ya in hell!"

"I'm gonna kill you!" added Lute, also too happy about this. "Even with wings, your toast, kid!"

"Sera, what is extermination?" asked Emily. Danny was quite surprised she doesn't know.

"Now, you may want to familiarize yourself with hell before the next extermination begins." was the last Sera said, before leaving. "Emily, guide him to the gate."

On the way, Emily was the one more saddened by this. In-between she had her bouts of anger. "She can' do this! Phantom isn't you! You're an angel! Not a ghost! He does not belong to our timeline. He isn't you..."

Danny wanted to tell her he had a feeling Heaven had some flaws – just look at Adam and Lute – but he kept his mouth shut.

"I don't think this punishment is much weaker." said Emily disappointed. "Sure, you keep your wings... but you're still screwed. I should have done more."

"You did enough. I don't want you to ruin your reputation and standing for me." he reassured her. "And to be honest, I am happy not to be an exterminator anymore."

"What is Extermination? Sera said I don't have to know." asked Emily.

"Exterminators, lead by Adam and Lute, purge Hell one a year. We-they kill sinners to counter overpopulation down there." he explained, seeing color leaving Emily as she realized. "It is as terrible as it sounds. I never wanted to but I didn't really have a choice here in Heaven. One that isn't dying."

"Sera... killing human souls... you..."

"I will be okay. After all, I know how they fight." said Danny. "I should be able to counter them. Not to mention, I am a fallen angel now, not a sinner. Still a Nephilim."

"But the other sinners..."

"Emily, here is something Sera probably doesn't want you to know. The Princess of Hell runs a hotel to redeem Sinners, to get them into Heaven. Maybe..."

"You could prove yourself that way!" realized Emily.

Danny shook his head. "I meant the Sinners. I doubt I can considering... I think Sera, Adam and some others are really against me. Well, I suppose this is a good bye now. Stay vigilant, Em. Keep Sera on her toes for me, will you?"

"Of course!" She then hugged Danny who returned it. After they let go, Danny jumped off the edge and flew to Hell.

As he arrived there, at first it was weird to be in Hell when there isn't an Extermination going on. As he flew in one spot, observing Pentagram City, he noted his wings changed. Like Sera said, Hell influences the looks of fallen angels. His wings are gray and he has a hunch they will continue to change color. His hair was now black, too. Like in life. 'Mm, this will make my secret identity difficult to hide. Unless I start wearing hoods or something.'

His wings started to hurt, to he looked for a place to land. He ended up close to the hotel run by the princess as it was on a hill, rather high and easy to reach from the sky. Danny took a step into it's direction. 'Maybe I can be redeemed? Give Em's theory a try?' He hesitated. 'I am not a sinner. I'm a Nephilim. A fallen one, but still.'

Then again, would they bother with an Exorcist? Would Charlotte dare to have a Sinner's true death in her hotel? It is supposed to be a save space after all.

"Hey! You!" yelled a voice. It was Vaggie, the fallen angel he met. She pointed a spear at him – an older model of the Exterminator's spear – she then dropped it, her eyes wide. She was eyeing him.

"Hello, fellow fallen angel." he greeted her. Remember me?"

"Wait, are you the kid... fuck, you're the exorcist kid Charlie told me about!" she yelled. This must be Vaggie. "Come with me, kid."

"Why?" he asked very confused.

"Simple. Get you sorted out and I want to know how you're an Exorcist. You aren't a born Exterminator. Adam only makes females." answered Vaggie. "You look more like a Winner. Especially from how Charlie described you."

"Well, I am not a born Exterminator, I was a Winner, kinda-hey!" Vaggie grabbed him and dragged him to the hotel.

"Save your words for Charlie, kid."

Danny not only met the princess of hell but also the employees and one patron of the hotel.

Charlie herself was fucking tall. If it wasn't for her very nice personality, he would have been scared. Her father on the other hand – sin of pride, king of hell, Lucifer and a fellow fallen angel - was scary, despite his short statue.

Someone who was tall and scary was the Radio Demon, Alastor. An Overlord and it was clear as crystal that Alastor and Lucifer hate each other.

The last tall person was Angel Dust. A porn star, spider-like and a pig enthusiast. Dude has a pet pig called Fat Nugget.

"The heck is an angel doing here?" asked Angel. "A kid at that?"

"He was a winner and he fell." said Vaggie. "I suppose if Winners can fall, Sinners can rise."

"Vaggie, are you sure this is the boy I met?" asked Charlie, taking a close look at Charlie. "He looks different."

"Charlie, falling changes ones look." explained her father. "I can't believe a kid can fall... or that you're an exterminator."

"Well, was." said Danny, trying to keep his nerves in check.

On the other side of the height spectrum was Niffty. A very short woman, one eye, clean freak and-"Oh! A bad boy!"

"Oh no! Not the kid, Niffty!" scolded her the cat-like sinner, grabbing her and pulling her away from Danny.

"Niffty, I think you should refrain from starting anything with the child." said Alastor, surprising the other demons, seeing their varying reactions of surprise and disbelief.

Then there was Husk, a feline alcoholic who apparently keeps Niffty in check.

Last but not least is Sir Pentious, a snake-like sinner who is very eager to be redeemed. He asked, carefully not to offend anyone, "Child, I am sorry to ask, but how did you... well..."

"Die?"

"No, fall..." corrected Sir Pentious.

"Pentious, let the boy introduce himself before he tells us that." demanded Lucifer. "Your name, son?"

"Daniel Janus Fenton." he said. "As for I died, that one is a bit complicated."

"How can a child die in a complicated manner?" inquired Alastor. Danny was only now noting the radio effect on his voice.

"Well, the complicated part is that I am only half dead." stated Danny. Every demon and angel shut up. "Let me show you..." White rings appeared around him and he turned human. "See, I can switch. I-I am a Nephilim., actually."

"A Nephilim.! Like my Charlie!" said Lucifer impressed. "May I ask, how did you fell? That Nephilim. fell never-wait, you said you were a Winner, well, Vaggie did."

"I died only half. My parents are scientists, they build a portal to the ghost zone. I had an accident and only died half. My dead half instantly arrived in Heaven. I did odd jobs for Heaven until I was asked to become an Exterminator." explained Daniel. "So yeah, I wasn't born a Nephilim."

"I don't know if you're lucky or unlucky." said Angel. "Half dead sounds pretty weird."

"Believe me, it is. But hey, I can switch. And outside of the Exterminations I don't have to be here in Hell. I just want to familiarize with Hell to prepare for those." he explained, "Part of my punishment is to suffer though them like a sinner."

"Punishment? What did you do, Daniel?" asked Vaggie.

"I... it is weird and also complicated. Remember that my parents build a portal to the ghost zone? Well, due to this, ghosts regularly appear in my town. I am a Guardian Angel for my home-mind you, I do not destroy ghosts-well, one of them was – and I know it sounds crazy – the future me of a timeline were I was half a ghost."

"Did Clockwork tell you that?" asked Lucifer, surprising Danny he knows the time master.

"Yes." he confirmed. "Well, after I defeated this 'Dark Phantom', with Clocky's guidance in fact, I was in front of the youngest judgment. and cast to Hell."

"Ya know what, maybe Heaven isn't that great if they let you fall for something you hadn't done!" chimed Angel in, offended for what had happened to Danny. Sir Pentious agreed.

"Are we going to ignore that there are timelines?" asked Husk only to be ignored.

"Oh, a real bad boy! He is fair game, right?" wondered Niffty.

"Seriously, you want to fuck a ghost?" asked Lucifer, nearly offended. "Little weirdo."

"Eh, I used to be a ghost for a few weeks." countered Niffty.

"I struggle to believe that you were neutral at some point." said Angel.

"What exactly is your punishment, Daniel?" asked Charlie. "I want to help you, but I need to know what I am working with."

"Well, besides that I am banned from Heaven, I'll be a sinner when I die fully – assuming I am not immortal – I have to be in Hell for the Extermination." explained Daniel. "Alternatively I could choose to die fully and be a sinner. Even though Sera said they couldn't kill my human half... Princess Charlotte-" "Call me Charlie." "-Charlie, like Angel said, just maybe Heaven isn't worth it."

Charlie sighed. "Even then, do you want to die in an Extermination?"

"No. I don't want to give this satisfaction to Adam and Lute." answered Daniel. 'Why do I have the feeling I can't reject her help?'

"Well then, let me show you your room here at the hotel!" decided Charlie. "For the times you're not on earth or, well, if you become a sinner..."

After hours – which were just mere minutes on Earth – he returned in his room, where his friends and Jazz had been waiting for him.

"Why were you summoned? Isn't this Extermination thingy for a few months?" asked Jazz worried.

Danny sighed. "Due to the thing with Dan, I-I have been kicked out of Heaven. I am a fallen angel now. I still have to leave for Extermination day, though... but now as a target."

"This is terrible!" said Sam. "And makes no sense! Dan isn't you!"

"Well, Heaven is filled with quite a few bird brains, so..." said Danny to his friends. "Also, I... in Hell, there is this hotel trying to redeem sinners..." 'If I am no Winner anymore, I see no reason to keep to Sera's rules.' He wasn't supposed to talk about Heaven and Hell to mortals, but fuck Sera, Adam, Lute and their demands.

"So... what now?" asked Tucker.

"Well, amity needs to learn their Guardian Angel got replaced by the Fallen Angel Dante." said Danny, "And I need a hood. My hair is black in both forms now."

"So an upgrade." joked Sam. "Lemme see your demon form."

"Not demon, still a Nephilim."

Chapter 2: Not Blessed

Summary:

Vlad meets an Angel. He did not knew Angels were a thing.

Chapter Text

Maybe it had something to do with Danny being part angel (and being an Exterminator) but nothing really flashed him anymore. Ghosts? Have nothing on an angel. Sam’s occult collection? He was in literal Hell and the weird part of Heaven. Her shelf is pretty basic for him. Christian Cults? Too used to care about those. Albeit the one that worships him is still making him uncomfortable. Nearly as much as killing Sinners does.

All in all it was weird that he sensed something off when meeting his parent’s old college friend. That guy reeks of sin. That guy’s one foot in Hell. Heck, Masters feels weird to other people who earned a one way ticket to Hell! Not that he told anyone about this, not even Jazz. His angelic part couldn’t lie to her! She still noted he was suspicious of Vlad Masters, though.

Then again, everyone with a brain would notice how Masters treats his parents. He straight in the face insults his father – who doesn’t realize he’s being insulted – and is a bit too friendly with his mother. ‘Hitting on a married woman? No wonder I’m gonna see him down there.’ he thought. ‘Great. Killing someone I know will be even worse.’

In the end, he could not sleep that night. His angelic sense won’t allow that. Someone is in danger, as a Guardian Angel he can’t rest now. He got up and turned incorporeal, a ball of light, slightly blue. As Danny explored the castle (‘Add not being humble on the list.’) as a lil light floating around.

He found his father leaving the toilet, so he relaxed, assuming he was sensing a false alarm. (Does happen and is why he told Jazz.) Danny was about to return when he saw a ghost. By now, he can spot them on sight. Even fairly human looking ones like Johnny are easily told apart by their glow.

Not that this guy looks fairly human. His clothes are as dramatic as only a ghost (or Adam) can be. His dark hair was styled like horns, his skin was blue and his eyes were red. Not to mention he floats. ‘A ghost. Eh, dealt with worse.’ he thought. Danny watched knock off Count Dracula, seeing what he is doing here.

When it became clear he is trying to harm his father, Danny swooped in. As in, the ghost got a light bulb into his chest, knocking him though a wall, away from Jack. As he landed in a different room, Danny turned to his angelic form. He flapped his wings threateningly. “Why did you try to harm this human?” he asked, remembering all of Lute’s lessons to be a threatening Exterminator.

The ghost just scared. “You’re not a ghost, aren’t you?” he asked.

“And you aren’t exactly bright.” replied Danny, flapping his wings again. “I’m not even hiding what I am.”

“Oh, I know what you are. An angel. I wasn’t aware your kind exist.” he replied. “Tell me, does Heaven exist?”

“Yes, but you will never see it, if you continue with your path.” said Danny. “Leave the humans alone. I don’t like getting violent.”

“Oh, a Guardian Angel…” He heard him mutter, “How did that moron manage to get a Guardian Angel?”

“I see, you choose violence.” With one strong flap, he was off the ground and attacked the ghost. “I literally gave you the chance to avoid hell, Knock off Dracula.”

“Maybe Heaven isn’t all that if the angels are rude.” countered the ghost. “My name is Plasmius.”

“Whatever Knock Off Alucard.” He blasts him with a golden light of pure angelic energy, but not enough to destroy a ghost. Ghosts are supposed to get a second chance. If they meet their final death, it happens in Hell. The blast made contact with Plasmius, who got knocked to another wall, but otherwise wasn’t much bothered by it. “Huh? But other ghosts…” A ghost that takes angelic power like it is just Ectoplasm? This can’t be good, he needs to tell Sera!

“Aren’t as strong as me, Gabriel.” mocked him Plasmius.

“Don’t compare me to that useless messenger!” he yelled. “I am Da-” He got hit with something, and found himself in some sort of cube. “What?”

“Ah, the cube also works on Angels. Good, good. Da, you said? I assume you’re Daniel then.” said Plasmius, floating over him.

“Well, you aren’t wrong.” he said. Danny added in mind, ‘I am not that Daniel, though.’

“Archangel of Marriage and Protection, the Principle Guardian Angel, he who interprets dreams and foresees apocalyptic visions.” mused Plasmius. “If we would meet under other circumstances, I would be honored.”

‘The real Archangel won’t be when meeting you.’ thought Daniel. ‘Should I correct him? Nah, Daniel’s gonna find this hilarious.’ Then he felt a pain he hadn’t felt since the portal. Maybe not that bad, but either way his vision became black.

When Daniel fainted, he turned to Madeline’s son. Vlad just stared, his mind not processing what just happened. ‘Her son Daniel is… reincarnation? Or is this similar to my situation? Oh no, I harmed an Archangel. This can’t end well.’ He took a deep breath and landed besides Daniel. “Why are the other ghosts afraid of angels?”

Danny felt terrible when he woke up in his bed. Even more so when he realized that the Reunion is today. He decided to stay close to his father for the day. When it really began, Danny started to wonder if he was just paranoid as nothing of note happened.

He walked into Vlad Masters. “Ah, Daniel, still shadowing your father? You’re like… a Guardian Angel.”

“Mm?” Danny was surprised that Masters said that. “Guardian Angel?” But Maters just laughed this off.

Danny snuck away from his father and followed Masters instead, hiding again as a little ball of light. He followed Vlad Masters into a corridor, leading away from the party. Then the corridor split into two directions, he lost track of him.

Seeing that no one was there, Danny turned into his full angel form again. He then felt a shock and found himself in a cube again, Plasmius appearing in front of him again. Plasmius grabbed the cube he was in, made in invisible and brought in into a basement lab.

“Tell me, Rafael-” “I am not-” “How are you switching between human and angel?” he asked. Danny’s eyes dialed, Plasmius knows. “Is this reincarnation?”

“You Fruit Loop! First of all, I am not that Daniel! I am just an angel who happens to be called Daniel!” said Danny annoyed. “Secondly, I was originally supposed to be a half ghost like you – I know you’re Vlad Masters – but my ghost half ascended to Heaven seconds after I failed to die.”

Vlad at first was silent. He did not expect to be figured out. “You’re quite feisty for an angel.”

“Not all angels are innocent.” Referring the Exterminators. And Adam.

“Then why am I not an angel!”

“Someone’s jelly! Honestly, you would end up a Sinner, a demon.” he said. “I have no idea why you didn’t descend to Hell. I doubt you’ll be neutral enough to remain a ghost.”

“Then guide me to Heaven, isn’t that an Angel’s job?”

“Actually, my job is to kill Sinners, be the final death.” countered Danny. “So I suppose we’ll see in Hell.” With that, he switched into his Exterminator form, destroying the cube. One strong flap of his wings and he attacked Vlad.

He baited Vlad to the party, where his parents attacked them. (They are convinced Dante the Guardian Angel is a deceitful ghost, apparently they assume the same about this angel form. The Christians do not like them.)

“Mads! A new Angel Ghost!” said Jack.

“Oh, focus on Plasmius!” Danny flew out a window and watched everyone flee. After a while, even Vlad left, leaving the Fenton parents disappointed they could not catch anything. He landed and turned human, rejoining his parents. “What happened?”

“A ghost haunts this place.” said his mother.

Jazz chimed in, “I hope he considers to move. All the money in the world could not make me want to live in a haunted house.”

“I suppose we go home now?” asked Danny.

When they returned home, Danny made his way to Heaven, where he asked to speak with Sera.

“Sera, remember what you said about me? That I was supposed to be a half ghost? I think I found a half ghost. Vladimir Masters, goes as Plasmius.” he told her. “Why isn’t he a Sinner?”

“Mm, Masters? Oh, he isn’t half dead, he just has ghost powers.” she explained. “As he’s just human, your powers won’t work on him like they do on Ghosts and Demons. Now, Daniel, what makes you think he would become a Sinner?”

“He tried to kill my father and hit on a married woman.”

“Oh. Yes, he will end up in Hell.”

Chapter 3: Divine Right

Chapter Text

It was well known by now that Ghosts generally fear Angels, albeit Humanity is not the wiser why. Either way, this known fact made it weird when ghosts on mass asked Dante, Amity’s Guardian Angel, for help. Apparently someone freed the old Ghost King from his eternal sleep. He was asleep for good reasons.

The Ghosts reasoning was that he – as a Guardian Angel – has to protect them and the humans. Walker pointed out that Pariah will be a danger to the humans as well. “I do it.” Sera will have his butt if he doesn’t. Even if an Exterminator is not exactly a protector. Then Pariah arrived, ripping the city into the Zone. ‘Come on! Flying in here sucks!’ It just feels uncomfortable. As if his wings are dipped into something disgusting.

Danny attacked the massive, ancient king, who flocked his attack with an arm. Pariah attacked as if his arm could just body angelic energy. He realized this was not the case when his arm burned like hellfire. Pariah grabbed his arm in pain and looked who had done it. “You aren’t a ghost.”

“Nope. I am an Angel!” he said proudly.

“An Angel? Are you a messenger? Announcing my divine right to rule?” asked Pariah.

“You really are as stupid as you look like.” answered Danny, “I just burned your arm! No divine right for you!” Danny was sure that didn’t exist to begin with. “No, I am here to defeat you!” He switched into his Exterminator form, full well knowing this may scare or disturb the ghosts and humans watching. “I am an Exterminator. Once a year we go to Hell and end the Sinners. Looks like you got lost on your way to Hell.”

One flap with his wings and he attacked the king again, his sword – Lute decided he lost to many spears even though that only happened twice – ready in hand and waiting for ghostly blood. He still had two spears on hand, though.

Pariah attacked with his sword, only for Danny to dodge it in flight. That happens when you fly in tight urban spaces, you master the art of dodging. (Especially if Overlords decide to just throw things your way. Like, Vox literally threw a bath tub his way on his first Purge.)

Danny weaved a thread and bound it to one of his spears. He flew around Pariah. Due to his size, Pariah couldn’t turn on the spot with ease, which made slapping the annoying fly called Dante very annoying. When Dante was in his dead angle, he threw the threaded spear to the crown, knocking it off.

He swept down and grabbed the crown, before melting it with heavenly fire. Pariah was furious seeing his regalia being destroyed, so he attacked Dante.

Danny found himself in the king’s giant hands. He had a deja vu from Vlad’s cubes. Then Pariah felt his hands getting burnt. “My wings are Anti-Ghost!” Some ghosts learned the painful way an angel – or Nephilim – can’t be overshadowed. Danny smacked his sword onto the ring, cracking it and the blade. ‘Lute will be pissed.’

Danny then attacked the throat of Pariah, stabbing him with his second spear. The angelic metal stuck deep, causing Pariah Dark’s Ectoplasm to desolve, until the king was gone.

When he landed, he turned back into his more approachable angel form. Dante noted the ghosts kept their distance, while the Christian community felt validated and scared at the same time. They must have overheard the thing about Hell’s Surge. ‘Shit.’

Chapter 4: Fallen Angel

Summary:

Another Shorty

Chapter Text

Since Dante defeated Pariah Dark, the Ghosts had been leaving him alone. Meaning they left Amity Park alone. Only some daring ghosts haunted the town, one being Technus. Unlike most others, he doesn't stay undetected. But that is on his own – loud – volition.

"I, Technus-"

"Dude, it's Midnight! Stop yelling!" came Dante's voice instantly.

Technus flinched hearing him and started to look around. He found an angel, but it was not the Dante he is familiar with. This guy's wings were dark gray, he wore black and red clothes that yelled 'rebellious punk' and he wore a hood. "You're not Dante."

"Oh Technus! I was just in Hell for a few hours." said the angel. "Don't you recognize me?"

"Dante?" He asked. "But... I thought that Purge isn't for a few more months."

"Yeah, it isn't. Put I got kicked out of Heaven, I had to check out Hell." said Dante. "Was cool all things considered. I even met other Fallen Angel."

"Other! You're a Fallen Angel!" With that, Technus flew away, back to the portal.

Skulker was searching for his mechanic. According to Klemper of all ghosts, Technus decided to go into the Angel's town. After he destroyed Pariah Dark with ease, such move is seen as a second suicide, even when Dante promised he won't end ghosts willy-nilly. So Skulker was in front of the portal, considering if he should wait or go search for Technus. That question became meaningless when Technus flew out.

Skulker grabbed him mid-flight. "Technus! What is with you!"

"It is Dante! He is a Fallen Angel now!" said Technus. "Imagine what he did to deserve that!"

Skulker let go. "This... is bad."

"I warn the others!" decided Technus. "He spoke well of Hell, for all we know this corrupted his Morales."

"Including his 'rule' not to end ghosts for nothing." said Skulker. "Good thing the kid doesn't go into the zone..."

When a ghost did dare to show themselves, some of Amity Park – namely the Christians and Satanists – watched with anticipation. They had not seen much of Dante for a few days. While their Guardian Angel – albeit some consider him a murderer due to what apparently happens in Hell – can be seen to just fly around Amity, the sky had been empty for days. One ghost attacks the Fenton's, then Dante disappears.

The population of the town noted the Fenton adults weren't a fan of Dante – for the longest time they thought he was a ghost, until Pariah's invasion in fact – so some assumed they did something to the angel. They claimed they did nothing to the angel. They claimed they were busy looking for their youngest child in fact. Daniel Fenton was not claimed missing as he returned shortly after. Days later, Jasmine confirmed her family had nothing to do with Dante's lack of appearances.

They just hoped he'll show up when the next ghost appears, which did happen.

"That is not Dante!" yelled one member of the Church of Dante. News Flash, Danny has his own cult now.

The dark winged angel just caught the ghost – Lydia – in an angel rope. "I am Dante! I just, uh, had a make over." he told the cultist. "Happens when one falls."

"So... you're a Fallen Angel now?" asked the cultist, regretting his life choices for a hot few seconds. "What about your Purges?"

"Won't kill, now I have to survive them once a year." admitted Dante. "In that case... I don't want to see anyone of you down there."

"So you will still protect the town. Good." The cultist was very relieved. He walked to his brothers of faith.

"Jonah! You just talked to Dante himself!" pointed one out. "You didn't ask if he met one of the Sins! Or one of the Archangels!"

Funnily enough, he did meet some of both groups. Not the Archangel Daniel, though.

Mammon is a cunt and Michael isn't much better. Albeit the later is just chronically overworked and lets this out on others. (He pities Gabriel.)

Chapter 5: Hellfire

Notes:

Unfortunate timing with this chapter on my part. Turns out the English voice actor of Vlad had passed away at the respectable age of 80. May hye rest in peace, his performance in the show was awesome.

Chapter Text

Normally, the Pride ring is run and ruled by the Sinners. Well, and the Ars Goetia, but they are not important right now. The Sinners run Pentagram City. However there are a handful Hellborns in the ring and the city. Imps need jobs, the ring has jobs. One group of Imp’s would be I.M.P, the Immediate Murder Professionals. This company of small demons kills the Living if a Sinner pays for it.

They are very aware of Dante, the Guardian Angel of Amity Park. They know he guards Amity Park, they know he used to be an Exterminator, they know he is associated with the Princess’ hotel.

Their customer Arabella Monroe, late CEO and Owner of Monroe Industries and Publishing, tasked them to kill someone in Dante’s territory. She barked at them, “I don’t care about that Angel! I just want this piece of Shit Masters down here to make his life Hell!” She struck their floor with her Angelic Spear she got from somewhere. Probably picked it off the street after the last Extermination. The Exterminators litter a lot, not just bodies.

“Fine, but that costs extra!” said Blitzo, agreeing to the job. “And half of the payment upfront. We need Angelics on our own. You heard of the rumors, right?”

“That the metal works on angels, too? Yeah, I did.” answered Arabella. She looked to her spear, before handing it to Blitzo. “I work for Camilla Carmine as a seller. I could organize you some. I do not demand any discount, I just want Masters to die.”

Luna chimed in, “Ma’am, your hate is the most intense any of our prior customers ever felt for their targets.”

Arabella smirked, eyes sharp and glowey. “I don’t know how, but this piece of shit has some way of mind control. You know, I was a ghost for a few weeks.” she answered. “Masters is also a ghost, well, half. At least he pretends to be a human. I tried to end him, but that earned me my spot here. I was so close shooting him with a gun from that Government group. They’re all over Amity Park.”

“D.H.O.R.K.S?” asked Moxxie. While he is afraid of Dante, this group worries him more. With D.H.O.R.K.S they know what awaits them, a more certain danger than the unknown.

“Nah, never heard of those.” said Arabella. “The Ghost Investigation Ward specializes in ghosts. I tried to push them into Master’s direction.”

Blitzo clapped his hands, “We better get going! This dude isn’t going to kill himself!”

Danny knew who the I.M.P were. He did not like what they did, but he disliked the Observants and Exterminators less. Not to mention he had yet to meet them. That changed now. He could sense a demonic presence. He had no reason to believe it wasn’t the I.M.P. Well, them or some Succubi and Incubbi. “What a way to start the weekend.” he thought. Flying around Amity, he soon spotted the demons.

For professionals, their disguises were terrible. At least the Hellhound got one, even if hers was not blending in. Especially for the Midwest around this time of the year. Danny watched them from a roof. He followed them, hiding behind signs and buildings as they made their way to the more wealthy part of town. He got worried if someone called them on the Manson’s – he could fathom someone would do that for Jeremy and Pamela – but then they passed the Manson household.

Then they were in the Ultra rich area. Very few people live here. One being that annoying Fruitloop. Danny takes a breath and swoops in front of them. “Your disguise sucks, I.M.P. Even yours, Luna.”

Said demoness growled at him. “But it is an actual disguise!”

“Yeah, but your clothes are out of place.” he countered. Looking to his godfather’s house, he had to ask, “Is your target Vlad Masters?”

Blitzo lowered his good. “Yes…”

“Then I allow it. He is my enemy, so I want him in Hell.” said Dante, surprising the group. “In fact I may help you. Just tell me when he’s dead, so I can greet him down there in Exterminator style!”

Moxie said, “You really don’t bother with redemption, do you?”

“Maybe if Heaven was worth the effort.”

Sometimes, every few weeks, Vlad thinks about what Daniel said. They will see each other in Hell. At first he considered it a bluff – the boy is a literal angel – but after his fight against Pariah Dark… An Angel that slays demons.

Now he wonders when he will be in Hell. He considered Daniel may kill him before he ends him fully in Hell, but by now he doubts Daniel would harm a human. Or ghost. Pariah Dark was an expectation, he said.

Now Vlad has no idea what to think.

Then a bullet passed though his heart.

“Good that he gave us the hint about the Angelic bullet.” said a voice. “I doubt a normal bullet would have harmed a Halfa.”

“Exactly, Millie!” said another. “Come, we should inform Dante.”

‘Maybe Little Badger deserves the fall.’

Vlad, knowing Hell existed, was sure the trashed red urban area he found himself was Hell. He did not expect Hell to be a city. Then a portal opened besides him, Dante – Daniel – stepped out, in all of his fallen angel glory. “Damn, Vlad. You landed close to Cannibal Town.”

“Cannibals?”

“Welcome in hell, Fruitloop.” said Danny sarcastically. “Heck, Dahmer has a cooking show down here. If I won’t end you now, I am sure you would enjoy it.”

“Well, you are an exterminator…” said Vlad.

“Not anymore. I lost that title when I fell.” stated Danny before taking out a sword. “However I am familiar with Camilla Carmine, the weapons dealer of Hell. She specializes in Angelic Weapons. Oh, and Vlad? Be glad you don’t have to face a true Exterminator, they are less merciful.” With that, one swing with the sword and Vlad Masters was no more.

“That was nice!” he heard Arabella Monroe yell from afar.

He looked to her. “I suppose you ordered his death?”

Chapter 6: Friends in Powerful Places

Chapter Text

Another day at Casper High, another day of Dash beating his favorite punching bag. Weirdo Fenton. The Fentoenail. Fentina. Fentrash. Fentone deaf. And that are just some of Dash’s insults.

The other students of Casper call him by different names. The favorite being the religious nut.

Despite his family being atheists – and being quite active in the science v religion debate – he slowly converted to Christianity. To be fair, since Dante appeared, quite a few Amity Parkers became religious, namely Christians. But the Fenton boy did it differently. He did not join one of the Dominions of Christianity. He wasn’t evangelical, he wasn’t catholic, he didn’t even join a cult. Daniel Fenton made his own interpretation of the Religion. Notably he added aspects from the other religions to his interpretation.

Albeit no one is sure how much of the Jewish stuff was demanded by his friend Samantha Manson.

“Seriously, Fentina, even the other Christians don’t like you.” mocked him Dash, while pushing him into a wall. He grabbed Danny’s cross. “Why is there an eye on the cross anyway? Some cult thing?”

Christians did not like Fenton, so he didn’t really attend church. Any church. He did it like the Muslims and some Chinese Christians, praying at home. They claimed he lives the religion wrongly. Then again, Catholics think so of Evangelicals, or the Mormons of the Baptists. Each dominion, each sub group thinks the others aren’t real Christians. Daniel thinks the same of them all, then again he was in Heaven.

He knows the Allmighty has his eyes everywhere. The angels have eyes everywhere. Eyes are a symbol. So he wears one.

As for why the Christians of the Cult of Dante dislike him the most, Danny dares to speak badly of the Guardian Angel. “He killed.” being one thing.

“Tell me, Fentoenail, do you plan to make a cult?” asked Dash as he broke the one eyed cross. Black smoke leaked from the broken wood, causing Dash to drop it. “What the-”

Then a portal appeared. A sigil.

“I won’t say that I plan to make a cult.” answered Danny, then. “I already have one.” Mind you, he did not start the Cult of Dante, but they worship him.

Over the sigil appeared a portal, and eleven figures came out. The last one, a tall, colorful but buff demon gave Dash the ultimate scare. He let go of Danny and stepped away. Said demon said, “Danny, we gave you the cross for emergencies, not bullies.”

“I didn’t break it, Asmodeus, Dash did!” answered Danny. He then looked to a thin, albeit still tall figure and an owl-like demon. “Why did you bring Stolas and Alastor?”

The red demon answered, his voice sounding like an old radio, “Don’t mind me, I just want to see what is happening.”

A demon with big horns answered, “Your call interrupted a ‘date’ with Stolas, so he tagged along.”

“Oh, sorry, Blitzo, Stolas.” apologized Danny.

“It is nothing, you did not break that cross after all.” answered the owl, Stolas.

Dash the while was just paling. “Real demons…” he whispered.

“Not only that, but you’re in the presence of three Deadly Sins, kid! From what I heard, the ones you live.” said a fox looking one, they sounded female. “Me, Beelzebub, Sin of Gluttony! The big guy’s Asmodeus, Sin of Lust.”

“And than there is me, the king of Hell, Lucifer.” said a short and dapper man. “Oh, and Daniel, my daughter is angry because of the thing with Masters.”

“Yeah, not my best moment.” admitted Daniel.

Dash then tried to make his name all honor. Danny is the guy who killed the Mayor!

But Asmodeus stopped him. Danny told him, “I did not kill Masters, well, not on earth.” “That was me!” chimed Blitzo in. Danny continued, “I, however, cut his stay on Hell short.”

“What? But only Exterminators…” muttered Dash.

“About that.” Danny became Dante. He stepped to Dash. “Listen, me and the others-” He looked to the demons and his fellow fallen angel in tow. “-won’t kill you. In fact, I offer you to guide you to Heaven. However this deal requires two things of you. Don’t tell any soul about this and stop bullying. Not just me, but everyone.” Danny turned to the others. “You better return.” Everyone but Lucifer left. The remaining demon repaired the cross.

Dash just nod. No point arguing with someone divine. (He would be an idiot for rejecting a chance for Heaven.)

Chapter 7: The Other Daniel

Notes:

Originally this series was supposed to end after the sixth One Shot, but I had to hve him meet Arch Angel Daniel, even if it is such a short One Shot.

Chapter Text

When Danny became a Fallen Angel, the last thing he expected was a meeting with the Archangel Daniel, Angel of Marriage and Protection. Even less that the meeting was at 2 A.M in his room. “I want to help you return to Heaven.”

Now how do you tell an Archangel you don’t want to? You don’t.

Danny at least did not. He said, “Because? Our shared name?”

Daniel shock his head. “No. But because you act like a Guardian angel for your town. After all, I am the angel of Protection.”

The second meeting was less nice. Daniel descended from the sky of Amity Park, his arms crossed. “You will never return to Heaven if you act like this.”

“I don’t want to return to Heaven. Not to the Exterminators.” answered Danny unimpressed. He flew up to Daniel. “You know, Hell really fulfills my need to protect. The yearly Exterminators Heaven sends, you know?”

Instead Daniel said, confused, “What are Exterminators?”

“Don’t act stupid! The battle angels Heaven sends to Hell to kill Sinners? Cuz of the Overpopulation? Adam leads them!”

“I-I never heard of such!” said Daniel.

“Oh, please. I was one. Sera knows about them.” countered Danny. “Ask Sera if you don’t believe me.”

“I will do.” he said, before flying off. “I need to tell Michael, Gabriel… all! And Uriel!”

Danny shock his head. “As if he doesn’t know.”
