Chapter Text
Leo shivered and pulled his jacket closer to himself. The night was dark and there was a general chill that seemed to seep into his skin.
There was an uneasy fluttering in the pit of Leo’s stomach. He had the uncomfortable feeling of being watching but that was ridiculous…right?
It was late out; probably sometime after midnight and everyone was at home because of the curfew. The curfew Leo so happened to be ignoring. He knew that there was probably a reason why everyone had to be at home as soon as the sun set but Leo didn’t really care.
Leo quickened his pace and glanced in all directions, he just wanted to be sure that no one was watching- or following- him.
He couldn’t be sent back, not again. He had been on the run for a while and it was too late to fail again. Next time (if there was a next time) it would be nearly impossible.
Leo shuddered again, this time thinking of what would happen if they found him. He promised to shatter Leo’s bones if Leo tried to run again. That was after his last failed escape attempt.
The air was closing in on him and the jacket that Leo had previously found comforting was suffocating him. He took it off and draped it over one arm.
He lightly ran his fingers over the worn cloth. It was his mother’s jacket which automatically made it the most important thing Leo owned. Besides, it was the only thing Leo was allowed to keep after… after the-
It was a deep, muted green color and it had bright spots of color in the places where Leo has sewed patches on. His favorite was the yellow star he put on the sleeve.
Patches were Leo’s favorite part when he was There, if Leo was good (which was never) he’d get one and he always got one on his birthday.
Suddenly, a snapping sound ripped Leo out of his thoughts. Leo instantly froze and looked over his shoulder.
Standing there in the distance was a shadowy figure. Oh gods- what if this person is some crazy stalker or kidnapper or someone sent to take him back?!?
Leo held his breath as the figure crept closer.
They stepped into the light from a lamp post. And Leo couldn’t help himself from staring. It was a very attractive looking young man with sleek blond hair and wired glasses. If this guy was a kidnapper Leo would be fine with it. Who wouldn’t want to get kidnapped by the equivalent of a blonde superman? Besides, this guy was way too hot to be a kidnapper-
The hot strange guy cleared his throat and Leo glanced up to make eye contact. Dear gods- his eyes were- they were beautiful . Striking, pacific ocean blue eyes that were just as deep. Leo felt like he could drown in them forever.
Oh right, the hot stranger wanted to talk to him.
Leo raised his hand awkwardly and quietly greeted the stranger.
“Hello,” The guy had said one word and Leo immediately knew he was fucked. Because - oh my gods - this guy's voice is so, so attractive. WHich is a weird thing to say considering that a) how can a voice be attractive? And b) Leo didn’t even know who this guy was.
Leo was grateful that it was dark out because he didn’t want this guy to see him blushing like a crazy fangirl or like to think that Leo was a creep.
“So,” Leo’s attention immediately snapped to the guy in front of him, his eyes lingered on the guy’s lips a little longer than necessary but that's irrelevant. “What are you doing out here so late?”
It was a fair question but Leo didn’t really have the answer to that- well he did but it wasn’t an answer he was willing to give to a total stranger, besides, what is he supposed to say ‘oh northing, just running away from being tortured. You?’.
“Just taking a walk, what about you?” Leo tried his best to smile at the stranger and look casual. He felt awkward and kinda stupid, falling over himself like an idiot the second a hot guy looks his way. Just because this stranger is the most attractive person he’s ever seen doesn’t mean that the stranger isn’t dangerous.
It was kind of strange for someone to be out at this time. Leo specifically chose to run away at the time where everyone stayed inside for ‘safety reasons’ or whatever. Well not whatever, this town was pretty close to vampire territory and most people would rather not be attacked by a vampire. But this guy was way too hot to be a vampire.
The stranger was smiling at Leo in a way that sent shivers up his spine and not in a good way. Actually, maybe he shouldn’t scratch the vampire idea out. He took a small step back and glanced behind him. Should he run now or wait to confirm if the stranger was a vampire or not?
The stranger took a step forward. And another one. Leo was about to move back but the stranger looped his arm around Leo so that if Leo moved fathers away he would end up in the stranger’s arms.
Leo let out a breathy giggle and nervously said, “Hey man, I- uh- I gotta get home and I would, I would really appreciate it if you could- uhm well- move your arm…?”
The stranger tilted his head and opened his mouth. Since Leo was RIGHT NEXT TO HIM he could see a set of very sharp fangs.
Of course it was a vampire, it probably used persuasion to manipulate Leo into acting like a dumb middle school girl who fell over herself the second a guy looked her way. Manipulated Leo into letting his guard down.
Leo sharply inhaled and leaned away only for his back to hit the vampire's arm.
Leo wasn’t sure if the vampire was going to say anything but if he was, Leo didn’t stick around to listen. Leo kicked the vampire in the shin and then bolted.
His breaths were labors as he sprinted as far away as he possibly could. Thoughts rushed through his brain. What should he do? Where should he go? What’s going to happen to him?
Leo could hear fast footsteps behind him and knew it was only a matter of time before he was caught. He tried to run even faster but to his great alarm, Leo was starting to get tired. This was the price he had to pay for skipping gym; getting attacked by some psycho vampire.
Would he get flowers on his gravestone? If he did, he hoped they weren’t roses. He hated roses, specifically the red ones. Knowing Them, she’d probably get him a bouquet of fresh, blood red roses. Leo couldn’t help but snort at the irony. Blood red roses when he died from getting all the blood drained from his body-
Nevermind it wasn’t funny anymore.
A weight collided with Leo’s back and before he could blink, he found himself pushed against a brick wall. He looked up to see the vampire from earlier (he didn’t know who else he was expecting).
“G- good weather we’re having today?” He asked.
The vampire blinked at Leo a few times before rolling his eyes- was that red tint always there?
“You’re fast,” the vampire commented. He didn’t seem to be gasping for air like Leo so he was probably just trying to make Leo feel better about his terrible escape plan.
Leo looked around nervously, here it was, here was the moment Leo was going to die. All alone in some dirty, dingy alleyway. Any second now that vampire was going to sink his teeth into Leo’s neck and drain him of all his blood. Then the vampire would leave Leo here. Oh gods, hopefully it didn’t hurt too much. Who was he kidding? Leo knew it was going to be extremely painful.
“You have- you have nice eyes!” Leo blurted out, trying to stall. Would he be able to kick the vampire again? He doubted it. Besides, the vampire didn’t look that mad right now and Leo didn’t want to change that.
The vampire gave Leo a strange look but he didn’t lighten his grip on Leo’s shoulders. Yep, he was totally not getting away which meant that Leo gets to suffer through a long and intense and painful death. Yay!!!
“What’s your name?” The vampire asked. Strange question to ask someone before you kill them but hey, at least Leo wasn;t dead yet.
“Uh Leo,” Leo said to humor the vampire. Why would this guy need his name anyway? “You?”
“Jason.” The vampire said and leaned closer.
Leo squeezed his eyes shut and held his breath. Waiting for the pain to start.
Chapter 2
Notes:
Okay I know its been a while but... I'm backkkkkkk!!!
I did some edits to the first chapter to fit with a new plot line I have so here's some Leo angst (which is like the whole fic)
I'm writing this whenever I feel like cause I don't have an outline soooooo sorry? If you're in desperate need of more chapter you can yell at me in the comments, demanding for an update and it will happen :)

Chapter Text
Instead of immediately sinking its teeth into Leo’s neck and draining him dry. The vampire- or well Jason (he can’t believe that the vampire actually has a name but then again, why wouldn’t a vampire have a name…?) started to touch his hair.
Squinting slightly, Leo could make out the outline of Jason’s hand reaching up. Not to mention the fact that Leo could LITERALLY FEEL THE BLOOD SUCKING MONSTER play with his dark curls.
Opening up his eyes further, Leo could now see a content smile on Jason’s face. The vampire’s head was tilted LIKE A FUCKING PUPPY.
Could this day get any worse? First his crazy foster mom goes berserk on him, then he runs away, then he meets a hot guy who’s actually a crazy vampire, THEN the vampire starts acting like a golden retriever boyfriend.
The gods hate me, Leo thought to himself as Jason continued to run his hands through Leo’s hair.
“Uhm…” Leo said, it probably wasn’t the smartest idea to try and get the vampire’s attention but if the vampire was going to kill him, Leo wanted him to hurry up and get it over with.
Blinking slowly, Jason seemed to register that Leo was still there. Immediately dropping his hands, Jason took a step back looking a bit… embarrassed?
“Uh sorry,” he said, “you- uh- you have good… hair?”
The last bit sounded more of a question than a statement and Leo couldn’t help but think of the irony of the situation.
“Yea uhm… thanks,” Giving Jason his best smile, Leo shifted a bit before taking off again. Wind blew Leo’s ‘nice’ hair back as he ran as fast as he possibly could.
So what if the vampire who found him was weird and hot? Being weird and hot does not guarantee that Jason (what kind of basic white boy name is Jason anyway?) won’t kill Leo and drain him of all his blood.
Or worse, Jason could be from one of those blood farms they warn children about. The blood farms where they keep humans in cages all day and slowly take all their blood, day by day.
Leo shuddered at the thought, he couldn’t go to a blood farm. He couldn’t .
Jason seemed to not get the memo though because one second Leo was running free and the next there was a cold, pale hand tightly wrapped around his arm.
Whipping around, all Leo could see was the blood red of Jason’s eyes and what would be the blood red of LEO’S BLOOD!
Leo was struck with the overwhelming, strong urge to cry. So he did, who cares what that stupid vampire thought about it? Leo was either going to die a long painful death or go to a blood farm and suffer for an even longer time before dying.
Or even worse, this vampire could have been sent by Them and now Leo was going to have to go back.
Tears slipped past Leo’s eyes and down his cheeks, and now that they started, Leo couldn’t stop. Full, gasping sobs raked his body.
Going limp, the vampire accidentally dropped Leo out of surprise. He fell to his knees and keened over, the sobs growing more intense.
Large gasps for air did nothing but make Leo feel more helpless which in turn made him cry even more.
He was going to have to go back.
The very thought made more tears spill from his cheeks.

Notes:
Heyyyyyy I'm back-
I have no plotted this fic btw so I did change some things in my mental outline and I haven't opened the doc in months so if anything doesn't make sense lmk and I'll fix it.
ALSO TW for child abuse, abuse in general, and like dehumanization for like the whole fic. It really doesn't happen on page but its alluded to as something that has happened in the past, its just a few throw away lines but the plot will expand with this further so if that makes you uncomfortable feel free to opt out.
Love you guys <3

Chapter Text
Leo didn’t know how long he stayed there, kneeling on the ground and crying his eyes out. But once he had stopped sobbing enough to have coherent thoughts, embarrassment flooded through him.
Yea Leo didn’t care about what this random vampire thought about him but it was still mortifying to break down sobbing in front of someone like a helpless baby.
Hesitantly, Leo put his hands next him, dirty gravel immediately sinking into the soft flesh, before pushing himself up onto unsteady legs.
His legs made quite loud cracking noises, effectively breaking the awkward silence.
“Oh uhm…” The vampire rubbed his neck awkwardly. He almost looked… uncomfortable? “...you okay?”
“Yea…” Leo whispered. He ought to start acting good and obedient soon- you know- since this vampire clearly wasn’t going to kill Leo which meant he was KEEPING HIM.
Leo’s breath hitched at the thought so he pushed it as far out of his mind as possible. Having another mental breakdown in front of this vampire was NOT on Leo’s to do list today (or any day for that matter).
On the bright side, Leo had done a quick scan of Jason’s clothes and didn’t notice any crosses- which ment a very high chance Jason wasn’t someone they hired.
Leo would be fine with spending the rest of his life as a tortured, starved blood bag as long as it meant he would never have to go back there again.
A few tears still slipped down Leo’s cheeks but Jason thankfully didn’t notice them.
“Okay well… uhm I- well-...” Jason stuttered out. He almost looked as nervous and panicky as Leo felt. Almost .
Taking another deep breath, Jason managed to compose himself completely in what felt like a second.
“Okay.” Jason repeated, this time more confident and sure of himself. Leo could almost feel the persuasion in his words. Jason wasn’t actually using persuasion right now, per say, but the power was there- humming in the air around them.
And Leo knew it was there. That Jason could easily use his powers to manipulate Leo into doing whatever he wanted. And Jason knew that Leo knew.
Leo could tell from the glint in his red- crimson blood red- eyes.
“You are going to come with me.” It wasn’t a question. Jason’s confidence grew with every word. Instead of protesting or trying to run away… again… Leo nodded numbly, allowing Jason to gently (?) take Leo’s arm and lead him away.
The further he and Jason walked, the further Leo retreated in his mind.
He was trying to process what exactly was happening. He was being taken. Leo was being taken. By a vampire. Leo was being taken by a vampire. Leo was being taken by a vampire .
Oh- oh gods what did he just get himself into!?!
The thought of praying crossed his mind, he used to pray to Hephestus, back then. Back when he was stupid enough to believe that the gods actually cared about him, that the gods didn’t take pleasure from his suffering.
Besides, Hephestus is the god of fire and just the thought of fire makes Leo sick to his stomach. The angry red flames, reaching out to wrap you in their painful embrace and never let go.
When he was younger, before he was taken for the first time, he would stick his fingers as far into the flames as possible without burning himself. It would be his little game, since the other kids didn’t want to play with him.
No, the other kids preferred to break his inventions and call him a freak.
“-eo.” a voice said right next to his ear.
Leo flinched and tried his best to back away. Jason’s grip on his arm tightened so Leo settled for leaning his head (and neck!!!) as far away from Jason’s fangs as possible.
The vampire continued to stare at him. Leo didn’t want to be scared but it was hard not to when all he could see was that monster's cold red eyes. Yep no he was not looking at that- averting his gaze, Leo behind the vampire.
There was a sleek, shiny, black limosine parked right there, in the eampty parking lot. Seriously how had Leo not seen that earlier-
“Leo.” The vampire repeated, he probably realized that Leo had no idea what he just said. The power in Jason’s voice seemed to just exude off of him, it was intoxicating and left Leo feeling dazed and dizzy.
“Huh?” he said. Like a total idiot.
The vampire almost looked… amused-? Well that was weird. Leo’s never seen a vampire feel any sense of happiness before- or well they certainly seemed pretty happy when he was tied up in their basement and The Boss was beating the living shit out of him.
“Can you get into the car or do you need me to carry you, princess?”
Leo tried once again to rip his arm out of the vampire’s hands but once again, he was way too weak. It was ridiculous. The vampire wasn’t even holding onto him that tight!
“I can walk.” Leo sneered, hoping that the embarrassment of another failed escape attempt wasn’t showing on his face.
“Then get in the car.”
“Fine!”
“Fine.”
It was taking all of Leo’s self control to not punch the stupid vampire in the face. Still, he walked on totally not unsteady legs to the car door, and opened it with as much annoyance he could muster.
He was surprised that the vampire hadn’t done anything to him yet. If Leo had tried this with those other vampires he would- well he would rather not think about that right at this moment thank you very much.
This vampire guy was weird, he certainly had limits and Leo was going to find those. It's best to find out the rules and punishments first so he can know how to act later on.
Besides, Jason seemed very tolerant of Leo being rude and disrespectful, or maybe he was just waiting for them to get somewhere more private to punish Leo.
Although Leo didn’t have many survival instincts, he had enough self preservation to not huff and puff as he entered the car. Just because the vampire seemed pretty okay by vampire standards and hasn’t really gotten upset with Leo yet, doesn’t mean that the vampire is going to be okay with Leo disrespecting him in front of other vampires.
That was one of the first lessons Leo learned. Bad pets make their owners look bad. Being beaten half to death really instilled the lesson into his head. Master no not his master, not his master anymore- hated looking bad. After all, what kind of vampire can’t even control their pet.
So Leo sat down on the plush, expensive seats nicely. He bowed his head down in submission and tried to stop fidgeting with his rings. Master hated it when Leo did that. Good pets sit still and look pretty.
The vampire gave Leo a strange look, “Why so nice all of a sudden?”
Leo wasn’t sure what to say so his lips stayed sealed. It was better to say nothing than to say the wrong thing.
Gods why was Leo thinking like this- it was- this vampire hadn’t even hurt him yet. Besides, Jason already knew Leo wasn’t- wasn’t… good.
Leo had quite literally punched at kicked Jason, attempted to escape a couple of times, and mouthed off. Jason already knows how he acts so what's even the point of being good???
Much to his dismay, Leo could feel tears building up behind his eyes. He didn’t want to hurt anymore. But then again, bad pets don’t get wants.

Chapter Text
The car ride was nothing if not awkward. The vampire greeted the driver before the car eloped into silence. A long, stifling silence that seeped into every nook and cranny.
Leo glanced at the door handle. What were the chances that Leo could open the car door, jump out, and run away without either a) gravely injuring himself or b) being caught and then being gravely injured.
Looking out the window, the urge to cry overcame Leo again. It was beautiful outside, from what he could see in the dark. Fields of grass with flowers peeking out from the blades. Crooked trees that hunched over rivers, like knights, protecting those they love most. No one would ever protect Leo. No one loved Leo. Leo was probably never going to get to see the sky again.
His fate was sealed. The thought made Leo’s heart hurt. He had just escaped, it had only been 6 months since he got out and now these stupid, vile, horrible vampires were dragging him back.
Back to suffering. Back to being in constant pain. Back to-
There was a cold hand on Leo’s shoulder. No he did not flinch and yelp- he would never.
The vampire was looking at him but thankfully let go of his shoulder when Leo jerked back so fast he hit his head on the window, hard.
Pain exploded across his forehead. The throbbing feeling slowly subsided. It didn’t even hurt that bad. Why did Leo want to cry?
The vampire cleared his throat, causing Leo to whip his head around to see him.
“You okay…?”
Opening his mouth to say something- what was he going to say? No idea. But Leo didn't even have to worry about it because he couldn't speak. He physically couldn’t speak. The words were there, he knew how to say them, but they wouldn’t come out. So he just sat there like the total idiot he was, moving his mouth like a fish.
The silence seemed to only get worse. The vampire wouldn’t stop staring at him, he was waiting for an answer. Leo needs to answer.
“Uhhhh yea I- I am…” Leo stuttered out, just making himself look even more stupid (it was surprising that that was even possible).
The vampire continued to look at him with those inhumane eyes. Leo squirmed, uncomfortable. He felt like an insect, pinned down by those eyes- about to be dissected.
Finally, the vampire must have found what he was looking for. He nodded to himself and then gave Leo a smile.
“We are almost there.”
“Oh okay, uhm…” Be grateful . “Thank you for- for letting me know-”
The vampire’s smile changed, it was barely a difference but Leo noticed. He did something wrong. Leo always did something wrong. What did he do wrong?
The urge to throw up overcame Leo. But that would only get him in more trouble.
What did he do wrong? Leo began going through The Rules in his mind. Was there something wrong with his tone? Was he not supposed to answer? Did he forget to say some- oh gods- he forgot to use the proper titles.
“Sorry, Master.” He whispered softly, it was so quiet that Leo could barely hear himself.
The vampire heard him. Vampire and their stupid enhanced sense- no not stupid he shouldn’t be disrespectful. Disrespectful pets are bad pets.
The vampire’s face changes again except this time it wasn’t subtle again.
“Why are you sorry?” It was phrased as a question but Leo could hear the command underneath.
“I uh- uhm I’m sorry for not, not calling you ‘master’.” Leo clenched and unclenched his fingers, the throw up feeling was increasing. “Master.” he tacked on at the end.
“You don’t have to call me Master,” the vampire said. “It makes me feel weird.”
“Y- yea…” Leo agreed. What was he agreeing to? He had no idea.
The vampire hummed in consideration. Thankfully, it seemed like the conversation was over. Now Leo could focus on the new information and suppress the urge to throw up. Vomiting was not an option, not now, not ever.
New rule: Do not call the vampire ‘master’.
What other rules did he have from this vampire specifically? Leo was planning on using the previous ones but this vampire was different. Racking his brain, Leo couldn’t think of anything else.
What if he was given other rules and he forgot them? What if Jason was the kind of owner who only gives rules once? What if he was going to punish Leo for forgetting- well that's not really a ‘what if’. Leo knows the consequences of breaking the rules. But that was okay, Leo could try to be good.
Leo could be a good pet.
The car started driving on a different surface, it felt like… gravel? The car slowed to a stop. They were here.
Jason gracefully stepped out of the car. Was Leo supposed to get out too? What if they thought he was going to run? Jason didn’t leave any instructions so Leo just sat there, fiddling with the rings on his fingers.
The car door opened beside him, a gust of icy wind slammed into Leo.
Jason stood outside of the car with an expectant look on his face. Nothing was said for a few moments before Jason broke the silence by saying, “What are you waiting for?”
Oh. Oh.
Leo scrambled out of the car, pushing himself out. He tried to hide his wince when his numb legs connected with the floor. No he did not stumble and no his legs did not shake. It was probably aftershocks from the andelenine or something like that.
The sky was starting to turn pink, they must have been in that car for hours .
No wonder Jason was in a rush. He wouldn’t want to be burned. No one wants to be burned. Leo hates being burned. Master knew that. Master loved burning Leo. master loved tying Leo up and-
There was a giant mansion looming over them. It wasn’t surprising, somehow every vampire Leo has ever met has been filthy rich.
Waves of despair seemed to crash over Leo.
Logically Leo knew that he lost all chance of escape the moment Jason laid eyes on him, but pulling up to his prison cemented the idea into his mind. He was captured. Again. He was never going to escape. Leo was a pathetic mortal. There was no way he could sneak past the defenses of the manor, get through all the gates, and run through the woods without either getting caught or dying.
It was over.
His life was over.

Chapter Text
The manor was… certainly…. something. Large towers reaching up, trying to grab the sky. The sun was barely rising, Leo could see just a sliver peeking out from behind the gate.
The building was so large and imposing that the shadow stretched out, seeming to go on for forever and ever.
A gust of wind picked up some leaves and blew it around the mansion. The leaves seemed to have a mind of their own, looping and flying and twisting- all so gracefully. They went around the towers one last time before diving for Leo.
Wind slammed into Leo at full force. The leaves were harsh, scratching at his skin a little when they sped by.
Leo shuddered and pulled his rackety jacked closer around himself. The shadow of the manor didn’t help much either. If anything, standing in the shade only made it colder- obviously.
Maybe he could step out into the sun. He could be quick, and if he was in the sun there would be no way that Jason could grab him. Vampires were allergic to the sun.
Blood pounded in his ears as he considered that option. It just might work. If Leo was fast enough. If there was enough sun to burn.
And that was the main problem with this plan. There was nowhere near enough sun to pull it off. The sun had barely even risen. There were more than enough shadows… everywhere.
And even if Leo got away, it wouldn’t be hard to find him. Vampires were fast. Faster than horses. Faster than cars. Faster than Leo.
Jason would find him. He would find him and then…
Well his fate was sealed, and the fates were nothing if not cruel.
Inhaling some of the sweet morning air (possibly the last fresh air he’ll ever get to breathe), Leo tried to clear his mind. There was nothing to be done now.
Glazing at the sky, Leo watched the sky start to pinken. It was a gorgeous sky- a painting of different shades of blue and pink and purple. Little stars dotted the sky.
No, Leo did not jump when he felt the vampire put his hand on Leo’s shoulder.
“We’re going in now.”
His tongue felt cemented from the roof of his mouth. All Leo could do was nod stiffly.
This is what Marie Antoinette felt when she was walking to the guillotine. He wasn’t scared anymore. No, not really. The fear would hit him again later- perhaps…
No Leo just felt resigned. Resigned and empty.
The vampire’s hand didn’t leave his shoulder once but Leo didn’t mind. It felt kinda nice to be touched gently.
When was the last time someone hugged Leo?
Well it didn’t really matter. Leo didn’t need hugs. Hugs didn’t help you survive. But still it was nice.
They walked through the gates (because of course they had a gate like they were from the medieval ages), through the giant doors, and through the halls.
Jason was talking to him- Leo knew that. Leo could see his mouth moving but his brain didn’t process the words.
Jason put his hand on an ornate door knob. Seriously, everything in this place needed to be fancy and expensive looking. The knob was shiny, reflecting a distorted version of the vampire’s face.
It was golden colored too- was it- no- actual gold? Taking another look around, Leo realized that all of the door knobs, and photo frames, and candle holders, and literally everything else, was made out of solid gold.
Wow. That was just… wow.
I mean Leo knew that the vampire’s were rich. All vampire’s were, when you’ve been alive for thousands of years you seem to develop the ability to make a ton of money.
Leo was also not surprised that these vampires would waste their money on useless things (like solid gold door knobs!!!).
No, Leo was just surprised at the design carved into the door knob. The design is carved into all the door knobs.
There was a ‘J’ right in the middle of the knob, delicate flowers and leaves were carved around it, almost like a halo.
Leo recognized that ‘J’, that logo- it was the Jupiter Family’s crest. They plastered that on everything they touched. Sometimes they change it up though, to keep people on their toes or whatever.
Sometimes doing different designs with different imagers but that ‘J’ always stayed the same. Gods Leo hated that ‘J’.
Leo remembers seeing that crest everywhere. He would get so many letters. The letters often ended up ripped to shreds and in the trash.
Pushing the door open, Jason gestured to the room.
“This is where you’ll be staying. Is it alright?” Was it alright? Leo wasn’t sure how to respond to that question.
If Leo thought that the door knobs were overboard, the room was a whole other extreme.
There was a gorgeous plush rug in the middle of the room. There were all different kinds of flowers weaved into it. Now Leo didn’t know much about weaving but even he could tell how exquisite and rare that rug was.
The bed was made out of a dark cherry wood with you guessed it… more flower carvings- man this family really loved their flowers.
The bed sheets weren’t anything to fancy (well they seemed to pale in comparison to the rest of the room). It was just some nice sheets with a flower themed throw blanket on top.
There were no windows… obviously.
For once Leo hated being right. There were no windows. Vampires don’t go outside, and even if they do, they only go out at night.
Never again is he going to feel the sun on his face. The warm light falling over his body.
Never again.
“Well, I’ll leave you to it.” Jason said. Oh right Jason was still here. Still talking to him.
Leo nodded, hopefully he wouldn’t have to reply. Leo didn’t think he would be capable of replying. Not right now.
“No one should bother you.”
“...”
“Bye-?”
Vaguely, Leo could hear a door shutting behind him with a click.
Oh. Oh.
He was locked in. That was okay. It’s not like Leo was going to go anywhere.
Everything in the room looked so perfect. So pristine. His knees buckled, Leo could hear the sound of them landing on the cold, hard, wood floor.
Leo couldn’t breathe.
His stomach did backflips. It was like there was a weight on his chest.
A heavy weight.
On him.
Pressing down on his chest.
Leo opened his mouth. Tried to suck in air.
It didn’t work.
No air came in.
He couldn’t breathe.
He couldn’t breathe.
He couldn’t breathe.
Then, a few firm knocks on the door broke Leo out of his panic state. He still was struggling to breathe, but everything was a little more clear.
It was like a camera suddenly going back into focus.
Leo could feel his knees, the wood grain digging into the skin. He could kinda smell the candles set on the bed side table. He could hear the knocks.
The knocks.
There was someone knocking on the door-

If you want to continue this fic feel free to! lmao feel free to use this au if you want- take what you want and leave what you don't idc. Feel free to take all my ideas lol :)
If you r curious, this is kinda the plot idea I had like a year ago...????
Leo was imprisoned before by a vampire mafia group thing (I couldn't decide if it was Luke or an OC so decide for yourself). So that guy was super close to tracking Leo down again so thats why Jason kidnaped him- to keep him safe. It was going to be slow burn where they would eventually fall in love and then Jason would die in the last chapter because Piper (who was a vampire hunter) would kill him like how he died in the book.
Also the person knocking on Leo's door last chapter was Percy because they were going to be besties ig??????
lmao feel free to use this au if you want- take what you want and leave what you don't idc
Sorry to everyone again, but I think its better for you to know now than wait for an update that will never come <3
