Chapter 2: Honor (Zuko)
Notes:
Sadie here's more Zuko for you.
Chapter Text
Honor.
The one thing Zuko was after just had to be the most difficult thing to get. As he sat in his room on the ship, he was surprised when the door opened. His s/o, Y/n, stood in the doorway holding a tray of tea Uncle Iroh had probably made them take.
“You alright Zuko?” They asked. D*mn they were sweet. Leaving the Fire Nation to accompany him in his seemingly futile attempt to capture the avatar. Originally, Zuko had thought that love would make him weak, but Y/n’s presence only seemed to strengthen him.
“I’m fine,” Zuko said, sighing at the unamused look on Y/n’s face. “You really expect me to believe that bull sh*t?” They said, as they sat on the edge of his bed. Zuko chuckled dryly, “Well I was hoping you would but it was very unlikely.”
“Iroh asked me to bring you some tea to calm your nerves,” Y/n said as they sat the tea tray on Zuko’s paper-covered desk. “Geez you really need to relax about this avatar stuff,” They said jokingly.
“It’s the only way for me to regain my honor!” Zuko snapped. He immediately regretted his tone when Y/n frowned, but his pride wouldn’t let him apologize. They thrust a cup of Iroh’s tea into Zuko’s hand and began to walk towards the door. “Come back, I didn’t mean it,” Zuko muttered, attempting to sound more annoyed than he actually was.
As Y/n sat on the edge of his bed, Zuko sighed. He grabbed their hand and pulled them beside him. “You’re so sensitive,” He grumbled as he buried his face in their chest. Y/n rolled their eyes, but stroked Zuko’s head affectionately.
“You’re a real pain, y’know?” They muttered, twisting Zuko’s ponytail around their finger. “So’re you,” He mumbled in response. “But I’m your pain,” Y/n chuckles. Zuko grumbles an unintelligible response and nuzzles his head deeper into their chest. “Get some rest dear,” Y/n says as Zuko begins to doze off.
This is exactly why Iroh sent them in here with tea instead of delivering it himself. Y/n always got Zuko to relax. Whether he liked it or not.
Y/n kissed Zuko’s forehead, beginning to feel sleep taking them too. “G’night,” Zuko mumbled, half asleep. “Good night darling.”
Chapter 3: Sparks (Fyodor)
Chapter Text
How could he have gotten so lucky? Getting such an adoring partner when he was so distant?
Fyodor always questioned what Y/n saw in him. He was nothing special. A monster at best. He had killed and planned to kill so many. So how could they still love him?
Walking into the house, Fyodor shed his coat and hat before stepping into the living room. “Dorogaya?” He called out, confused as to why they didn’t meet him at the door like usual. He smiled internally at the pet name, it always surprised him how fuzzy he would feel after calling them something like that. In his native tongue, dorogaya means sweetheart or love.
“In here Vozlyublennyy!” Y/n called back. Fyodor smiled. His darling had taken an interest in Russian since they began dating, learning new words to surprise him. Vozlyublennyy meant lover or beloved.
“You learned a new word I see,” Fyodor smirked as he stepped into their bedroom, leaning against the door frame. Y/n smiled, “Yeah! It took forever to understand the pronunciation though.” He chuckled, “If it’s too difficult you don’t have to learn it. I wouldn’t want you to feel obligated to learn another language for me.” Y/n made a pouty face, “But I wanna learn. It’s interesting”
That made Fyodor smile, chuckling as he shook his head. “Alright then Dorogaya,” He walked over to them. “So what have you been up to today?” He asked, lifting their chin. “I cleaned up a little bit, but other than that not much,” Y/n said, their arms wrapping around his neck.
Never once would Fyodor have thought that he could have deserved this. This love. This amazing person. His beloved. His Y/n.
Fyodor smiled as he held Y/n to his chest. Hugging them tightly. Feeling a flicker of warmth in his usually cold heart. This warmth seemed to emanate from Y/n’s very being. Warming him if only while he held them. This was the love he hadn’t known he had so desperately wanted till he met them. But now, he couldn't imagine a life without them.
“I love you,” Fyodor whispered, hugging Y/n tightly. “I love you too.” Their response was like gasoline on the flicker of warmth their touch brought. An inferno sparking inside him that he never thought he would experience. And he loved it.
Chapter 4: Perfect (Harry)
Chapter Text
It was winter at Hogwarts. Everything was covered in snow, huge trees in the Great Hall decorated with candles and huge ornaments.
Harry sat in the Gryffindor common room, his s/o beside him. They had just come back from Hogsmeade and were sitting under a blanket by the fire. Y/n cuddled a bit closer to Harry, who had his arm wrapped around their shoulders.
As he took hold of their hand, he commented, “Darling, your hands are freezing.” Y/n nodded, “A bit. Probably wasn’t the best idea to be messing around in the snow.” Harry chuckled, kissing one of Y/n’s palms. “Still, I wouldn’t want you to catch a cold,” He said as he held their hands in his.
Y/n nuzzled their head into the crook of his neck. “Adorable,” Harry mumbled as he leaned his head on theirs.
Slowly, both began to drift off to sleep. The sounds around them drowned out to a dull background noise. It was an unusually peaceful moment in the normally wild times of Harry’s time at Hogwarts. For once there was not a need for his wand, nor for him to have to fight some creature he still couldn’t believe were real at times. Just him and Y/n. Peacefully cuddling on the common room couch. There was no Draco poking fun at him, nor anything else that could ruin this perfect moment. Just serene peace that he didn’t often get. It felt…nice. Unusual. But nice.
Y/n had long since dozed off, as Harry was still taking in the quiet of the moment. It felt so nice to just be here. Be with them without worry or fear. It was as if the real world had just melted away, no dark wizards coming after him, no new threat posing immense problems. Just peace.
Harry cuddled closer, feeling Y/n’s steady breathing against him. This felt so… perfect . There was no other way to describe it. Just perfect. He slowly began to fall asleep as well, basking in the glory of the moment.
Chapter 5: Faith (Angel Dust)
Chapter Text
Angel Dust had never been in a serious relationship that wasn’t constantly physical. Granted there were cuddles and stuff like that, but never intimacy. Another strange thing was that his partner was fine with Angel continuing his line of work. They didn’t insist that he stop, saying that he needed to earn money somehow. What in hell? That sounds exactly like something I’d say.
After finishing with another client, Angel felt surprisingly…empty. He walked back to the hotel, a weird feeling sitting in the pit of his stomach. What was going on with him? This wasn’t how he acted after finishing with a client. Usually there was a satisfying feeling of pent up energy getting used up. What was this new feeling?
As he stepped into the Hazbin Hotel, Angel was greeted with Y/n standing in the lobby, dusting some of the higher shelves that Niffy couldn’t reach. Struggling to reach one of the higher shelves, Y/n grumbled something quietly making Angel laugh. He came up behind them, took the duster, and dusted the place for them.
“I could’ve done it,” Y/n mumbled, blushing lightly. “Oh but I did it for ya, doll!” Angel said, in his usual overanimated fashion. Y/n rolled their eyes playfully, taking the duster back. As they went back to dusting something clicked in Angel. This feeling, like a rock was sitting in the pit of his stomach, this was repentance. Regret. But what did Angel have to regret? Having sex with someone? No, that wasn’t it. It was the brief flicker of disappointment in Y/n’s eyes when he came back with cash and drugs. That was it.
“Heya, darlin’?” Angel called out. “Hm?” Y/n glanced back at him. “You, uh, y’know I’m just doing the f*cking for the cash right? I don’t give a sh*t about the clients,” He said, avoiding eye contact while two of his hands fidgeted with his collar. “Yeah, I-I know. Where’s all this coming from?”
Angel noticed they didn’t sound too convinced, “Oh nothing, just makin’ sure you knew an’ all that.” He walked up behind Y/n, his arms wrapping around them. Two around their waist, two around their middle. “I, uh, love you and all that,” He said quietly. Y/n smiled, “Love you too Angel.”
Chapter 6: Forever (Zenitsu)
Chapter Text
Zenitsu always had horrible luck with women. And dating people in general. Everyone knew that. But he was sooooo infatuated with them. So when the Insect Hashira, Shinobu, introduced him to one of her helpers at Butterfly Mansion, Zenitsu was in Heaven.
After training, Zenitsu was sitting outside with Y/n. Inosuke was attempting to provoke Tanjiro into fighting, no matter how unfit both were to fight. The trio had just finished another harsh round of training regiments from the girls at Butterfly Mansion, leaving all of them exhausted. Y/n didn’t help with training very often so Zenitsu wasn’t able to see them as often as he would have wanted to.
Zenitsu tried not to stare, he really did. But it was impossible not to. Y/n was sitting on the stairs beside him, leaning up against one of the beams holding up the roof. They were watching Inosuke chase Tanjiro around the courtyard, laughing occasionally at their antics.
Oh and what a wonderful sound that was to Zenitsu. He was going to make it his mission to have future laughs like that directed at him. If he could ever get up the courage to crack a joke in front of them. Y/n just made him feel so…fuzzy. There was a warm and fuzzy feeling in his chest whenever one of their sweet smiles was directed at him. Or when they would cheer him on during the rare time they came to his training. It was nice.
“You’re staring, Zenitsu,” Y/n commented. He blushed. While he had been staring, he hadn’t realized that they had noticed it. “I-I umm…” Zenitsu was a blushing and stuttering mess. This is your chance to be smooth! Take it! “I-I..uh…I could stare at you forever.” There, I said it. What did she think? I hope it’s something good!
“Creep.” Zenitsu’s face fell. He was blushing. A lot. “W-What?” He asked, hoping he had heard them wrong. “I’m kidding, and thanks…I think,” Y/n laughed. Zenitsu smiled. Finally, one of those beautiful laughs directed at me. “It-It’s true though! I-I could…I-I would stare at you forever!” “Don’t push your luck,” Y/n chuckled. Zenitsu nodded. Just one step at a time.
Chapter 7: Breakfast (William)
Chapter Text
At the Moriarty estate, Louis was the one who cooked. Every. Single. Meal. And he did it flawlessly every time. So when William came down to the kitchen to find a pile of burnt and oddly-shaped pancakes, with Y/n cooking them, he was a little concerned.
“Darling, what are you doing?” He asked, stepping further into the kitchen. Y/n sighed, “Well I was trying to make pancakes, but that didn’t exactly work.” They sighed, William chuckles, “You know Louis could have easily made them for you.” “I know, but I wanted to surprise you by making them this morning,” Y/n frowned, picking up the plate of misshapen and somewhat burnt pancakes, glancing at the trash can.
“Oh, I’m sure they taste better than they look,” William chuckled, taking the plate from them. He sat at the island thinking, Please don’t be poison, please don’t be poison, please don’t be poison. In their attempt at making breakfast they had browned the pancakes a little more than necessary, the pancakes were oddly shaped, and a few had burnt spots on them.
William smiled at Y/n before taking a bite of the pancakes. Holy sh*t, he thought as he nearly gagged. He forced a smile and continued trying to eat through a satisfactory amount of the food without puking. After seeing him eat half of the plate whilst grimacing, Y/n stopped him, “You don’t have to eat it if they’re disgusting.”
“Oh thank you,” William said, pushing the plate away. Y/n sighs, taking the plate and throwing it away. “If you want, I can help you make some… decent food for breakfast,” William smiled, attempting to rectify the situation. Y/n nodded.
Let’s just say they tried and may have managed to make some edible food before Louis kicked them out of the kitchen.
Chapter 8: New Years (Keefe)
Chapter Text
New Years. Some holiday Sophie had shown everyone. It wasn’t something they would usually celebrate as elves but the group was open to trying it. They were supposed to stay up till midnight, not too difficult right?
Keefe and the rest of young Black Swan members (Y/n, Biana, Fitz, Dex, Sophie, Tam, and Linh) were sitting outside of Havenfield, waiting for midnight. There were multiple plates of elven treats like mallowmelt. Tam, in his typical fashion, had said something to Y/n to offend them and was too prideful to apologize.
“I’m going home,” Y/n said angrily, they stood up. Keefe looked at them and said, “Don’t go. I’m gonna need someone to kiss at midnight.” Everyone froze. Had he really just said that? Y/n chuckled and sat back down. Then it was just waiting, everyone still a bit shocked about what Keefe had said.
“What? Sophie said it wasn’t unusual for people to kiss at midnight during the New Year thing,” Keefe said, shrugging. “She did say that but that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to kiss someone, Keefe,” Dex said. Keefe shrugged again, “Meh, where’s the fun in that?”
One minute to midnight. Then, the clock struck time. Keefe grabbed Y/n by the hand and pulled them in for a kiss. The whole group went ‘Ohh’ and laughed. “See? Fun!” Keefe laughed as Y/n blushed. “I still wasn’t expecting that,” Y/n said, their face flushed in a heavy blush. “Kinda glad I stayed though,” They continued, resting their head on Keefe’s shoulder. He smiled.
Chapter 9: Beautiful (Toph)
Chapter Text
Being born blind, Toph had never thought much of what she looked like. Why would she? Sight was something she had never had nor wanted. She may have thought about what it would be like to see, but that was probably the extent of her thoughts on the topic.
“You’re the most beautiful person ever.” Y/n, Toph’s s/o, had said it so casually, not thinking about how much it would get the earthbender thinking. As soon as the words had left their lips, she blushed, turning her head in their direction. “I’m what?” She asked them. “You heard me, you’re the most beautiful person ever,” Y/n shrugged it off, going to help Aang unload Appa for the evening.
Later that night, Toph was sitting in her tent. She couldn’t sleep. Y/n’s words were on replay in her mind. The word beautiful being the most frequent. They think I’m beautiful? It was times like these that Toph wished she could see. To see if she really was beautiful, or to at least be able to return the compliment. But being blind meant that if she tried to return a compliment on her appearance, it would be a lie since she couldn’t see them to judge.
Y/n crept up to Toph’s tent, tapping gently on the ground to alert the earthbender. Sitting up, Toph opened the flap of her tent, “Yeah?” “Can I come in?” Y/n asked timidly, having not been able to sleep much. “Come on in,” Toph let them in, letting them lay down and cuddle up to her. “Couldn’t sleep?” She asked. Y/n nodded then, realizing that Toph couldn’t see that, said, “Yeah.”
Toph shifted slightly, “I couldn’t sleep either. I was thinking about what you said earlier. About me being…beautiful. Did you really mean that?” Y/n chuckled, “Of course silly! You’re the most beautiful person I know!” Toph blushed, tempted to bend a small wall between the two to save her from the embarrassment.
Y/n cuddled up to Toph and mumbled, “Sleep now. We’re gonna need it.” Toph nodded. Being together made both fall asleep much better than they would have alone.
Chapter 10: Ruined (Atsushi)
Chapter Text
The date was ruined. The restaurant had been double booked, the firework show canceled, and it had started raining. Atsushi had tried planning for any scenario. Except rain. Now both of you were soaked and Atsushi was apologizing profusely.
“I’m so, so, so sorry!” Atsushi repeated for the 18th time. The two of you were soaked to the bone, walking to his house in the rain. “It’s fine, Sushi. It wasn’t your fault the rain started,” Y/n said, their shoes clicking quietly on the pavement.
“I-I know, but I should have planned better,” Atsushi said, getting his keys out. He unlocked the house, both of you going inside. As soon as he saw the slightest shiver from Y/n, he rushed to get them some spare clothes.
“Here take these,” Atsushi handed them one of his shirts and some sweatpants. While Y/n changed, Atsushi got out multiple spare blankets. When he saw them in his clothes, Atsushi nearly fainted.
“Something wrong, Sushi?” Y/n asked. The nickname made Atsushi’s blush deepen further. “I-I’m fine, you just look really good in my clothes,” He said quietly, blushing profusely. Y/n chuckled, “Thank you.”
To make up for the rained out date, Atsushi set up a little blanket fort. For the rest of the evening they watched movies, with Atsushi occasionally hiding in the blanket after a loud boom of thunder. “You’re so cute,” Y/n whispered after Atsushi hid under the covers again, cowering up to them. He blushed, burying deeper into the cocoon of blankets. The planned date may have been ruined but this was even better.
Chapter 11: Jealousy (Draco)
Chapter Text
Draco had always been able to get what he wanted. His s/o was no exception. As a fellow Slytherin, Y/n was included in all of Draco’s friend groups which meant they were rarely ever apart.
“It was one conversation Draco,” Y/n said. In one of the rare times apart, Y/n had spoken to Harry about an assignment. It was a brief, less than 30 second conversation, but Draco still had heard about it.
“That’s still a conversation you had with Pottah,” Draco said, not making any attempt to hide his jealousy. No matter how much he tried to deny it, Draco was an incredibly clingy and possessive person. “I’m working with him for a project, that’s it Draco,” Y/n said, slightly exasperated by his jealous attitude.
“You’re what?” Draco looked at them like they had just skinned a puppy. “For transfiguration we were put into groups for a project. I’m going to meet with Harry in the library to work on the assignment,” Y/n said. Draco frowned at them as they said goodbye and left to work on the project with that wretched Pottah.
In the library
Y/n was standing by one of the bookshelves talking to Harry about the project. Draco was standing out of their view just watching the interaction with disdain. When Harry began to get a little too close, Draco quickly sauntered over. He wrapped his arms around Y/n from behind, resting his head on their shoulder.
“ Mine ,” he said while glaring at Harry. Rolling his eyes, Harry left to go turn in the finished project. “What was that about?” Y/n asked, tilting their head to look at Draco. “Had to show him who you belong to. I wasn’t just going to let him get away with hanging out with my s/o,” Draco said firmly, squeezing them tightly.
“I think every person at Hogwarts knows by now Draco,” Y/n chuckled. “Good,” was all Draco said back. Good. If every guy knows you belong to me then nobody will try anything, Draco thought. With those thoughts, he hugged them just a little tighter. Content for the time being.
Chapter 12: Remembering (Alastor)
Chapter Text
Alastor had always been quite observant. From his time as a radio host in life, to becoming the Radio Demon in Hell. So when he saw balloon emojis on your calendar app, he immediately figured out that day was your birthday. The date was then placed in the section of his brain dedicated to his Y/n.
A few months later (on your birthday)
Y/n was sitting in the lobby of Hazbin Hotel. Everyone else was out; Charlie and Vaggie on a date, Angel Dust was probably with a customer, Husker with no doubt with some cheap booze, Nifty cleaning, etc.
Alastor walked into the lobby, then over to Y/n. “Hello my dear!” He said with the radio static voice, throwing his arms up in the air. His pointed teeth curved into a smile, his radio topped cane in one hand.
“Hello Al,” Y/n responded, smiling slightly. D*mn that smile of his was contagious. “I’ve gotten you a little something,” Alastor said, snapping his fingers. “Happy birthday dear,” a small basket of Y/n’s favorite snacks and a few other gifts fell into their lap. They gasped, “Thank you Alastor!” “It’s nothing my dear,” He responded, his smile growing.
After looking at each of the gifts, and thanking Alastor multiple more times, Y/n looked up at him. “I can’t believe you remembered,” They said, trying to remember if they had ever mentioned their birthday around any of the hotel workers. “Oh I remember everything about you dear!” Alastor responded, chuckling slightly.
Y/n smiled, continuing to look through the gift basket. Alastor sat down beside them, wrapping his arm around their shoulder. Leaning into the embrace, Y/n rested their head on his chest, their legs stretched out on the lobby couch.
“Thank you for remembering everything. I don’t know how you do it, but it’s nice,” Y/n said quietly. Alastor smiled, “It’s nothing dearest, just a bit of observation.” “ Still, it’s nice,” They responded, cuddling up to him. It may not have been their first birthday in Hell, but it was the first one that somebody had remembered.
Even if just for a little while, Y/n was content with the moment. Enjoying the peace and how nice it felt to have someone celebrate the little things with them.
Chapter 13: Returning (Rengoku)
Chapter Text
Kyojuro had just been on a rather long mission for the Demon Slayer Corps. He had been gone for a month and a half, much longer than normal. Due to this longer than normal mission, his s/o, Y/n, had missed him more than usual too. So when he finally arrived home, they were both very excited to see each other.
When Kyojuro returned home, he was greeted by his s/o wearing his old haori. It was a bit big on them so the material ended around their knees. The haori was patched up in places, some of the flame design missing in areas but it was still his.
“Darling, what are you wearing?” Kyojuro asked, smiling. “Just an old haori of yours I found. I wanted to wear something of yours to remind me of you while you were gone. Is it alright that I borrow it?” Y/n said shyly. “Oh it’s completely fine with me. Keep it if you want,” Kyojuro said boisterously.
Y/n smiled. Now they had something of his that was permanently in their possession. Next time they missed him the haori would be put to good use. “I cooked you your favorite food dear,” Y/n said, holding up a bowl of miso soup with sweet potatoes.
After eating, saying the usual umai/tasty after each bite, Kyojuro stood. “I’m quite tired from my mission. If you’ll excuse me, I’ll be off to bed,” He said, looking at Y/n as if expecting them to join him. “I’ll be there in a minute. I’ve got to clean up the dishes,” Y/n responds sweetly, picking the dishes up from the table.
After cleaning up, Y/n went into the bedroom to find Kyojuro already on their shared futon. He was not in his Corps uniform but rather in more casual clothing. They climbed into bed, cuddling up to Kyojuro. “I missed you,” They whispered quietly. “As did I, my little flame,” Kyojuro responded, wrapping his arms around them.
Finally, after a month apart they were back together. Happy to just live in the moment. Both of them drifted off into sleep shortly after, still holding each other.
Chapter 14: Panic (Louis)
Chapter Text
Louis had never been happier than when he was with Y/n. His s/o. They knew of his part in William’s Lord of Crime scheme and still loved him. They still held his hands, even when they knew those very same hands had taken countless lives. Louis knew his fear was irrational, but he was always afraid that one day they would leave him. He knew they would never do that though, but he couldn’t help his anxiety.
When Louis awoke, he was surprised to find that he was alone in bed. Where was Y/n? They had fallen asleep in bed together as usual, but now they were gone. Where had they gone? This wasn’t like them, disappearing without letting him know where they were off to.
Louis got out of bed, checking anywhere and everywhere that Y/n might be. Having no luck so far, he began to panic more. “Have you seen Y/n?” He asked William and Albert, attempting to hide his frantic state. “I have not,” William said, sipping his tea. “I believe they were in the kitchen Louis,” Albert said, looking up from his book. The kitchen? What would they be doing in there? Questions ran through Louis’ head as he walked to the kitchen, trying to keep his pace as a normal speed, but failing.
When he arrives in the kitchen, Louis is greeted by the sight of Y/n in front of the stove, swaying slightly from side to side as they cook. Louis sighed with relief before walking over to them. “What are you making?” He asked as he wrapped his arms around their waist, leaning his head on their shoulder. “I’m cooking eggs, bacon, and pancakes,” Y/n said, leaning back into Louis’ embrace while keeping an eye on the food.
Louis smiled, “Sounds delicious. Y’know, you scared the sh*t out of me with the disappearing act this morning.” Y/n glanced back at him, “Sorry ‘bout that, I just got hungry so I got up to make food.” Louis nodded, nuzzling his head into the crook of their neck.
They would never leave. He knew it. They knew it. His brothers knew too. Louis was content to think of that, his heart calming from his earlier panic. “I love you dear,” He whispered. “I love you too,” Y/n responded before continuing cooking their breakfast, leaning farther into the embrace.
Chapter 15: Last Two (Aang)
Chapter Text
Currently Team Avatar was in the Eastern part of the Fire Nation. Aang was attending a Fire Nation school in an attempt to learn firebending. Being at school for so long meant Aang was separated from the only other person of his culture, besides himself, left. Y/n. They were a nonbender that was raised by the Air Nomads. They had been with Aang when he froze himself and Appa in ice, being preserved too.
Having shared many hardships together, the two began dating. Aang didn’t like leaving them alone. Although he knew Y/n was safe with the gang, he still didn’t like it. He had already lost so many of his friends and teachers to the Fire Nation so being there, with the only other Air Nomad, just made him feel rather unsettling.
Other than the constant unsettling feeling he had, Aang was the sweetest to his Y/n. Always cracking jokes, doing something to make them laugh, cuddling them. He may fumble with words at times, but somehow, Y/n always knew what Aang was trying to say. They were patient when he messed up, when he struggled, and they stayed with him through thick and thin. Today was no different.
Aang had come back to the cave after his school, carrying a medium sized box. Y/n was sitting on Appa’s saddle, their head hanging upside down while they stared absentmindedly at the mouth of the cave. When Aang walked in, their face lit up when they saw him. Sitting up in the saddle they said, “Aang! How was school?”
Using his bending, Aang hopped onto the saddle beside Y/n. “It was so boring, they were teaching lies. In one of my lessons the teacher asked how Sozin defeated the Air Nation Army. We never had one of those!” Aang said, opening the box. He began eating the food that was inside, continuing to ramble about his day.
“This is really good,” Aang comments on the food. “You should try some. Here open wide,” He continued, holding the food on chopsticks up to Y/n’s mouth. “It is pretty good,” Y/n said, chewing the food. They sat like this for a bit just sharing the food, the rest of the gang leaving them be for a bit. It was calm. Peaceful even. The two enjoyed the times like these which were becoming less and less frequent, much to their disappointment. But for now, they just enjoyed their time together.
Chapter 16: Sweetheart (Poe)
Chapter Text
Poe had always been a bit of a romantic. Shy. But a romantic all the same. So much so that some of the other Guild members would tease and joke about it. Such jokes usually resulted in Poe becoming profusely red in the face, attempting to hide behind whatever novel he was reading or writing at the moment. Although he had to admit, they weren’t too far off the mark with how he was in a relationship. His Y/n would agree.
Poe was a simp. At least that’s what Y/n said he was. And after looking up the meaning of the word, Poe couldn’t help but agree. He was indeed a lovestruck man. While he had never shown the full amount of his love in fear of scaring them away, he did show how much he cared in little ways; reading to Y/n, taking them on cute dates, etc.
Today though, a slip of the tongue left Poe a blushing mess. When he came home, having a brief conversation with Y/n, Poe had accidentally called them “sweetheart.” “W-What did you just call me?” Y/n’s voice wasn’t angry, rather shocked and surprised. “S-S-Sweetheart,” Poe said timidly. While he may have addressed them as pet names around his colleagues he had never done it directly to Y/n.
Poe looked up, surprised by the blush covering Y/n’s cheeks. “Y-You don’t mind?” He asked nervously, wringing his hands anxiously. “Of course I don’t mind, Poe. I just wasn’t expecting it is all,” Y/n said, looking up at Poe who let out a sigh of relief. “Oh good, I was hoping you wouldn’t think I was coming on too strong,” He said, blushing profusely.
Y/n chuckled and took Poe’s hand, pulling him onto them so his head rested on their chest and his legs were between theirs. “Never too much darling,” They said, kissing his forehead. Poe let out a low hum and nuzzled his head into their chest.
Now this was what Poe was like in a relationship. His coworkers had missed the mark only slightly. Instead of him allowing his lover to be clingy it was actually the opposite. He was the clingy one, Y/n was the one who allowed him to cling to them like a baby koala to its mother. They didn’t seem to mind though which made Poe extremely happy. This was what he looked forward to after a long day with the Guild. Cuddling his Y/n. It made him happy. They were perfect. At least, perfect for him. Karl even loved them, sitting on their shoulders as much as his. It was absolutely perfect.
Chapter 17: Foodie (Ron)
Chapter Text
Ron had always loved food. Everyone knew he was a foodie at heart. Eventually, his s/o, Y/n, found out. As a lover of cooking and baking, of course they decided to surprise him with a bunch of home cooked food.
After spending a few hours in the kitchen, Y/n finally finished fixing the food, setting it up on the kitchen table. The table was covered in all sorts of foods, sweets, and other confections. They had called for Ron to come over so he was on his way, he would probably arrive at the house in a few minutes.
While Ron could apparate, Y/n had placed protective charms on and around their house, preventing people from being able to apparate onto their property. After Voldemort’s defeat, that had become a top priority on Y/n’s list. The safety of their home was a must.
There was a knock on the dorr, disrupting Y/n’s train of thought. They opened the door to find Ron on the front step. “You really need to fix those charms on your house so I don’t have to constantly find other transportation,” Ron said. While he understood the reason behind the charms, he wished there was a way to give specific people the ability to apparate there.
“I’ve got a surprise for you!” Y/n said, ushering Ron inside. They covered his eyes and led him to the kitchen table. “Where are you taking me? Wait- what is that smell?” Ron sniffed, the aroma of the food taking over his senses. “Your surprise,” Y/n said excitedly with a wide smile covering their face.
When Y/n uncovered Ron’s eyes he gasped. “You never told me you could cook!” He immediately dug in, eating all of his favorites. “Bloody hell! This is amazing!” He said, his mouth filled to the brim with food.
After stuffing his face for about half an hour, Ron looked up at Y/n. “Bloody hell darling, that was amazing,” He said, kissing Y/n’s cheek. “If you react like this every time I make you food, I may just have to cook for you more often,” Y/n said, chuckling. “That would be bloody brilliant!” Ron said as he wrapped his arm around them. The rest of the day was spent with the two cuddling on the couch watching movies.
Chapter 18: Drunk (Husker)
Chapter Text
Husker was a drinker. That was very well known. I mean the demon traded his soul for cheap booze for crying out loud! Besides drinking, he was also a gambler. Losing most of his paycheck from Charlie in games of poker or some other game. Despite the Hazbin Hotel being about rehabilitation, he still managed the bar in the hotel lobby.
After another shift, Husker had become extremely drunk. He stumbled around the hotel in a drunken stupor, his judgment clouded by the haze of all the booze he drank prior to the current time. There was an inkling of his sober consciousness telling him that he would be in trouble if he ran into Y/n, his s/o, but that thought quickly faded into the buzz of all his other thoughts.
Y/n had always hated his drinking problem, it was quite the issue as they put it. Yet Husker didn’t stop, no matter how much he hated the disappointed gazes Y/n would give him when they found him drunk again. No matter how much they tried to help, Husker would always fall back onto the gambling and drinking.
Behind him, someone cleared their throat. He knew who it was. Just by the sound alone. The disappointment in that one sound was almost pliable. Husker turned around, unsurprised by Y/n’s figure looking at him. He could tell they had not had a good day, instead of just the usual disappointment there was also anger. This new emotion scared Husker slightly, though it was dulled by the booze.
Y/n was not usually angry at Husker when she found him drunk or drinking, she was just usually disappointed in him. “Hello darlin’~” Husker said, his words slurred and melding together. Y/n grabbed the bottle of booze Husker was holding and threw it at the wall, the glass shattering and splaying all over the floor.
With a sigh, Y/n snapped their fingers, the glass and leftover liquid from the bottle cleaning itself up instantly. “Sorry, sorry, I just had a really sh*tty day and that was the last straw,” Y/n said sighing, taking Husker’s hand. “Come on, let’s get you to the room,” They said, pulling him towards their shared room in the hotel.
When they arrived, Y/n gave Husker some water and pushed him into the bed, saying, “Now hurry up and get sober already.” They cuddled up to him, apologizing occasionally for throwing the bottle. Eventually both of them fell asleep, Husker with an impending hangover.
Chapter 19: Injury (Shinobu)
Chapter Text
Working in the Butterfly Mansion was never too much of a challenge for Shinobu. She managed the work well, having Kanao, Aoi, Sumi, Kiyo and Naho to help around when she needed it or was on a mission. When the other hashira were in need of medical assistance it wasn’t too difficult, unless it was someone stubborn like Sanemi or Obanai.
Today though, Y/n had shown up at the mansion needing immediate medical attention. Y/n and Shinobu had been dating for a few years now. Shinobu always urged them to be careful but somehow Y/n would always come back with at least one scratch or bruise. This time, they had come back with a large gash on their abdomen and another on their arm.
While patching them up, Shinobu went on a small rant about how they should be more careful on missions. “You can’t keep getting hurt like this Y/n! What if one day, I’m not here to help you?” Shinobu asked, her voice losing some of its sugary sweet tone. “Then I’ll get one of the others to patch me up darling,” Y/n responded nonchalantly, their reckless abandon for their own safety making Shinobu mad.
“That’s not the point Y/n!” Shinobu said, her purple eyes misting over with tears at the emotions swirling around inside her. “Then what is the point?” “I just-... I don’t want to lose you too!” She said, just a hint too loudly. Kanae was gone. Shinobu had barely recovered from that. She didn’t know if she could take losing Y/n too, whether it be from a demon or their own recklessness. Her cracked world might just shatter.
“Baby, you’re not gonna lose me. I may be careless but not to that extent,” Y/n said as they used their uninjured hand to cup Shinobu’s cheek, their thumb stroking soothing circles on the soft flesh. “I’ll try to be a bit more careful if it really means so much to you,” Y/n continued. “It does. It means a lot to me. And so do you,” Shinobu said quietly, leaning into Y/n’s touch.
Now that Y/n was finally fully patched up, Shinobu layed down beside them on the cot. She cuddled up to them, her small arms wrapping around their frame in the bed. “And don’t worry, I will always be here to fix you up whenever you get injured,” She said quietly, burying her head in Y/n’s shoulder. “Good, I do prefer you over the other doctors just a little bit,” Y/n responded teasingly. With a huff, Shinobu responded, “Just a little bit?” “Ok, maybe a lot,” Y/n chuckled. As the sun began to set, the two sat in comfortable silence, enjoying the momentary peace of their usually dangerous lives.
Chapter 20: Brothers (Albert)
Chapter Text
Y/n and Albert had been dating for about a year and a half. Their relationship was progressing well and everything seemed perfect. Until Albert’s brothers found out about Y/n. They immediately wanted to “meet” them, or more accurately, they wanted to judge Y/n to see if they were good enough for Albert.
So after picking a date, and that day finally arriving, Y/n stood tensely on the front step of the Moriarty residence. Having knocked no more than a minute ago, they waited nervously on the staircase. The door opened as Y/n was admiring the beautiful house. A tall blonde man opened the door. His hair covered one of his red eyes that contrasted with his blue suit and bowtie. There was a pair of black glasses perched on his nose.
“You must be Y/n,” The man said, his voice monotone and red eyes narrowed. “I am,” Y/n responded, stepping into the house under the man’s scrutinizing gaze. Another man was standing there waiting. He too had red eyes and blonde hair, dawning a burgundy suit and holding a cane. “Ah, hello there,” The second man said, the first closing the door behind them.
After a few tense seconds of silence, Albert entered the foyer. “Y/n, darling, you’re here! And I see you’ve already met Louis and William,” He said, gesturing to the two blonde men. William, who Y/n assumed was the man in burgundy, stepped forward and offered his hand. “We’re sorry for not meeting with you sooner as is custom, Albert here seemed keen on keeping you from us,” He said, shaking Y/n’s hand.
Hours upon hours of conversation later, the sun was beginning to set. Y/n was surprised to find that they got along with the other two Moriarty siblings quite well. They had been chatting for hours, exchanging pleasant conversation on whatever topic popped into their heads. It was surprisingly nice.
“Darling, it’s getting late. How about you stay the night?” Albert asked, happy that his s/o and brothers were getting along. “Um…sure,” Y/n said, saying goodnight to Louis and William. They then walked with Albert up to his room, laying down on the bed beside him.
“That was way less scary than I thought it was gonna be,” Y/n said, cuddling up to Albert. “See, my brothers aren’t that bad,” He responded, chuckling. After exchanging a few more pleasantries, both of them fell asleep in each other's arms.
Chapter 21: Clingy (Tam)
Chapter Text
Tam had always been a cold. He was never nice to anyone besides Linh. And to everyone’s surprise, Y/n. Y/n was the absolute opposite of Tam; outgoing, trusting, loud, energetic, etc. So everyone, Tam included, was quite surprised at how much he enjoyed their company. Being one of Linh’s best friends, and later Tam’s s/o, Y/n was almost always with the twins. Today was no different.
While hanging out with the young Black Swan members (Y/n, Keefe, Biana, Fitz, Dex, Sophie, Tam, and Linh), Tam was being a bit more clingy than he usually was in front of the others. He had his arm around Y/n, their legs draped over his. After the initial teasing from Keefe, the rest of the group didn’t comment on the PDA much.
“Soooooo, the cold Tam got a s/o? What a surprise given how unfeeling he is. Careful Y/n, he might read your shadow vapor without your permission,” Keefe teased, nudging Y/n playfully. Tam growled quietly, pulling Y/n closer to him. “Mine. Don’t touch,” Tam said through gritted teeth, fed up with Keefe’s remarks.
“Calm down Tam,” Y/n said, leaning their head on his shoulder. Almost instantly, Tam calmed down, his grip on them loosening slightly. It was usually like this, Tam getting pissed and Y/n calming him down. After glaring at Keefe for a minute, Tam nuzzled his head into the crook of Y/n’s neck.
“I’m so glad I met you,” Tam mutters, his other arm wrapping around their abdomen. A chorus of “Awwws” follows from the rest of the group. “How sweet,” Linh said, happy her brother was able to find someone he loved so much. A few other comments similar to Linh’s were stated by others around them, much to Tam’s embarrassment.
Tam’s face was covered in a bright blush as he attempted to hide behind his silver bangs. Y/n chuckled, “I’m glad I met you too, Tam.” For the rest of the day, Tam’s face was covered in a light pink dusting of blush.
Chapter 22: Busy (Sokka)
Chapter Text
Sokka and Y/n had been very busy lately. With missions for Team Avatar taking up all their time, they rarely had time for each other. This disappointed both of them greatly. While staying in Ba Sing Se, the Gaang got a bit of a break. They didn’t have as much to do so Sokka was going to take advantage of all the spare time.
Today, Sokka had planned out a super cute date down to the T. First they were gonna go to a nice restaurant, then maybe go to a carnival afterwards, ending the night back at the Gaang’s shared residence. It was all going to go perfectly.
Well most of it went perfectly. The carnival had packed up early so after eating, they showed up only to find the carnies loading everything up into the trucks. It worked out though as a short walk to some park nearby, there was a fireworks show going on. After watching the fireworks till they ended, Sokka and Y/n walked through the park together.
“That was a nice night,” Y/n commented, their head resting on Sokka’s shoulder. “You’re welcome for planning it,” He responded teasingly, his arm wrapped around Y/n. They rolled their eyes, “Well the fireworks weren’t planned, were they?” Sokka looked away, embarrassed. “Yes they were…” He said, his tone not very convincing.
“Thanks for planning it anyway,” Y/n said. “See, there it is,” Sokka said, his tone regaining its teasing edge. “There’s what?” Y/n asked, looking up at him. “The thanks I was waiting for,” He responded, laughing as Y/n rolled their eyes.
The two eventually left the park, venturing back to the Gang's shared living place. When they arrived, everyone’s eyes were on them (Toph just tilted her head in their direction being blind and all). “So how did it go?” Katara asked, smirking. “Yeah! How was it?” Aang was bouncing off the walls waiting for their answers. “If you start talking about kissing I’m gonna barf,” Toph said, making a fake gagging sound.
“It was…nice,” Y/n said, leaning their head back on Sokka’s shoulder. “Yeah…nice,” Sokka responded, a light blush covering his face. While that was all they told the Gaang, both were glad to have finally had time to have some semblance of a date.
Chapter 23: Possessiveness (Akutagawa)
Chapter Text
Akutagawa was never one for romance. Until he met Y/n. They gave his cold heart something to beat for. The rest of the Port Mafia was very surprised when they found out that two of the most ruthless members were in a relationship. Especially the fact that it was Akutagawa and Y/n.
Y/n was a sweet and cheery person to those they knew but ruthless when completing Mafia work. And Akutagawa was well…Akutagawa. He was the “dog” of the Port Mafia. Completing any and all missions given to him with little to no survivors. These two getting together was like mixing elements to make a bomb. Eventually, something is going to blow up. Probably in someone else’s face.
Such was what happened today. Akutagawa and Y/n were attending a party for the Port Mafia. Akutagawa was in his usual attire but Y/n had dressed up a little bit, catching the stares of quite a few people, much to Akutagawa’s dismay. Complement after complement, the attendees began to become a bit less filtered the more they drank.
When such a patrion, having lost all rational sense from ingesting too much alcohol, had the outrage to touch his Y/n, Akutagawa snapped. “Don’t touch them, they told you to stop,” He growled, gripping his glass. The person, who apparently couldn’t take a hint, continued their drunken rave about how gorgeous/handsome/prefered Y/n was, occasionally touching them to accentuate their point.
After hearing Y/n continuously tell this person to stop, Akutagawa’s anger increased tenfold. “They said stop you pathetic b*stard,” He growled, using Rashomon to lift the person up by the collar. After the person pleaded and pleaded to be let down, Akutagawa dropped them to the floor. “Now don’t let me see you near them again,” He said, teeth bared in a snarl. They nodded, not giving Y/n a second glance.
“Well that was an interesting display,” Y/n said, trying to lighten the mood. “If anyone else bothers you let me know immediately ,” Akutagawa said. “Of course darling,” They responded. “Don’t call me that,” He snapped back. “At least not in public,” He said, much quieter causing Y/n to smile.
Chapter 24: Comfort (Neville)
Chapter Text
Y/n had a bad day. Neville could tell almost as soon as he saw them. Their face was twisted in a scowl, their arms crossed, and their posture rigid. Clearly something was bothering them, Nevillie just didn’t know what.
“Is something wrong, petal?” Neville asked, sitting next to them on the Gryffindor common room couch. “It’s nothing,” Y/n responded, their words were stiff and clipped. “Something is definitely wrong. What made you so upset, my flower?” Y/n’s denial didn’t fool Neville one bit. If anything, their words only proved his point further.
Y/n sighed, Neville could tell they were relenting. “I got a T on my potions O.W.L.,” Y/n said, their disappointment evident in their voice. “I thought that was just a joke Fred and George used to scare us, not an actual score,” Neville said. A T. Troll. The lowest score possible on O.W.L.s. And in potions.
“It’s not your fault. Snape is just a horrible professor,” Neville said, trying to be comforting. “I know, but a T Neville! I got a f*cking T !” Neville ignored the use of profanity, Y/n was clearly very upset. “It’s ok petal,” He said, putting a hand on their shoulder in another attempt at comfort. “No Nev, it’s not ok. My parents are going to kill me. I wouldn’t be surprised if I receive a howler from them when they find out. I’m so dead ,” Y/n muttered, leaning their head on his shoulder.
“It will be alright dear,” Neville said, wrapping his arm around Y/n’s shoulders. One of his hands rubbed soothing circles on their arm. The other hand, he placed it on top of Y/n’s hand. They sighed, leaning into the comforting touch Neville provided. It seemed as though the current problems, the failed tests and such, melted away. The fear of being reprimanded being clouded over momentarily. Such a nice feeling of peace. For now, all Y/n’s worries would fade, still lingering but the panic dulled. Hopefully this feeling would last just a bit longer.
Chapter 25: Belief (Charlie)
Chapter Text
Y/n had supported Charlie from the beginning. They had started helping around and eventually working at the Hazbin Hotel. Even when the hotel had been ridiculed at the start of its development, Y/n stuck by Charlie. During the battle with Adam, Y/n had fought alongside Charlie and the others. They also helped rebuild the hotel after all the fighting.
Charlie was incredibly grateful to have Y/n in her corner. Always there when she needed someone to rely on. Always just a phone call away. They could read Charlie like an open book by now which was helpful…but at times a bit unsettling with how well they could read her. And despite how pointless Charlie’s dreams had sounded when starting out, Y/n had always stuck with her, helping out whenever and wherever they could.
Having rebuilt the hotel, there was an increase in the number of sinners who wanted to be redeemed. It seemed as though everyone in Hell was showing up to this place for their chance at going to the pearly gates. Charlie was incredibly proud that the hotel was attracting such a large crowd and in turn, Y/n was incredibly proud of her.
“You did amazing, Charlie,” Y/n said, walking up behind Charlie and wrapping their arms around her waist. Charlie leaned back and into Y/n’s embrace, “I couldn’t have done it without you.” “You probably could have, it just would have been a hell of a lot less fun!” Y/n quipped, chuckling. “Thanks for believing in me. Even when my dream seemed insane,” Charlie said, her hands resting on Y/n’s.
“Hey, a little insanity keeps things interesting. Besides, you put up with all my crazy bull sh*t so it’s only fair that I should put up with yours,” Y/n responded teasingly. “You say that like you’re so bad. I would not be surprised if you were the next soul redeemed,” Charlie said, laughing quietly. Y/n made a gagging sound, “Me? Redeemed? Not likely babe. Besides, how would I survive without my darling dear that is you?”
When Charlie just laughed, Y/n continued, “I wouldn’t. That’s how. So unless you want me dying again I suggest you don’t try to redeem me.” “Ok then. It would be pretty lonely without you around anyway,” Charlie said, kissing Y/n’s cheek. “I’ll keep that in mind when you get tired of me.” “I’d never get tired of you.”
Chapter 26: Feelings (Inosuke)
Chapter Text
Inosuke was very hot headed. Almost everyone in the Demon Slayer Corps had heard of how brash he was. Having challenged many in the Corps, despite the rule of not fighting other members, almost everyone besides his group avoided him like the plague. Except, surprisingly, Y/n. They were a member of the Corps too, having been on many missions with the trio and occasionally Nezuko too. Due to this connection, the group took a liking to Y/n. Especially Inosuke though he would never admit it.
After one of their less difficult missions, the group was sitting around a small pond outside the village they had just saved. The three demons had not been too hard to defeat, having only consumed about 40 people each with less than half of them being small children, which didn’t increase the demons’ strength much.
Now the group was sitting on the edge of a pond, a few of them having discarded their shoes to dip their feet in the water. Tanjiro and Zenitsu were locked in a discussion about Nezuko, who had gone back into her box at sunrise, so Inosuke and Y/n were off to their own devices. Sitting so close to Y/n, Inosuke started getting an odd feeling in the pit of his stomach. Like insects flapping around in his stomach.
When the feeling increased as Inosuke looked at Y/n, he said, “What did you do to me?” Y/n looked over at him, surprised by his gruff voice. “I didn’t do anything to you,” They said, confused at what he meant. “You did! Whenever I look at you, I get a funny feeling!” He yelled, grabbing the attention of the other two boys.
“What’s this feeling you’re talking about Inosuke?” Tanjiro asked, tilting his head. “It’s like bugs in my guts or something! Did they poison me?! Am I dying?!” Inosuke yelled, causing the birds in the surrounding trees to fly away. “It sounds, and smells, like you’re in…love,” Tanjiro said, looking from Inosuke to Y/n.
“In love! What’s that mean? Like a mate?” Tanjiro attempted to answer Inosuke’s barrage of questions in a way the stubborn boar boy would understand. “It is kinda like a mate but with people. When you love someone it’s like the fuzzy feeling you’re experiencing.” “So why does it happen when I look at Y/n?” Inosuke said, glancing at them. “You said my name right,” Y/n said quietly. Inosuke blushed, looked away, then gumbled, “Well yeah, I kinda…like…you?” He said it like a question, making Y/n laugh. “Hey! Why’re you laughing?! It’s not funny!” He yelled, his face flushing even more.
Well, at least it will be amusing seeing him navigate these feelings for the first time, Tanjiro thought as Inosuke continued his seemingly never ending questions about what he should do with Y/n now.
Chapter 27: Sharing (Sherlock)
Chapter Text
When John and Mary had gotten married, he had moved out of the flat. This left Sherlock alone. Which probably was not a great idea. Though his s/o, Y/n, did visit often, it wasn’t often enough for Sherlock’s liking. No matter how much he adamantly denied it, Sherlock missed them. So, of course, he intended on fixing the issue.
Y/n was at the flat again. Sherlock’s plan was going to be set in motion today. He had subtly been hinting at getting Y/n to move in after they complained about how high their rent was. More than once he had subtly joked about them moving in with him to see their reaction. All the signs said he would probably get a positive answer when he asked.
They were currently laying on his couch together. Sherlock was reading, sitting normally on the couch while Y/n was laying with their head in his lap, feet propped up on the arm of the couch. Looking up from his book and down at Y/n, Sherlock said, “So you like it here? At my place I mean.”
“Um…Yeah, I guess. It’s a nice flat, and I like the company more,” Y/n teased, playing with Sherlock’s other hand that wasn’t holding his book. “I am pretty great,” Sherlock responded. “But I meant how would you like it if you just…stayed here…with me.” Y/n looked up at him surprised, “Are you-Are you asking me to move in with you?” “Depends on if you would say yes or not. Would you move in with me if I asked you to?”
Chucking, Y/n said, “Yes darling, I practically live here already with how often I visit you.” “And I’m not complaining about that. In all honesty, you should have been visiting much more,” Sherlock said, looking down at Y/n. “Aww, did my baby miss me?” He blushed at their teasing, “Maybe just a bit.” “How cute~!”
After the initial embarrassment of asking, they discussed their plans. When Y/n would move in, where their stuff would go, how much of the rent would each be paying, etc. “I can’t wait to share this place with you. Your flat has always been beautifully decorated,” Y/n said, glancing around. “ Our flat darling,” Sherlock corrected. “Of course… our flat.”
Chapter 28: Voice (Dex)
Chapter Text
As a Dizznee, Dec could be…a lot. He was eccentric and destructive but still very sweet at the same time. He was smart, his ability being a Technopath coming in handy more often than not. Y/n could also be a bit much. Although unlike Dex, they could tone it down at times…occasionally. So the two of them got along great!
Today, the two were hanging out after their classes at Foxfire at Dex’s house. Y/n was laying on their stomach on Dex’s bed, their feet swinging in the air. Dex was sitting at his desk, chair turned to face Y/n. He was talking about one of his newest experiments with technology. More accurately he was going on and on explaining every step of his process in extreme detail. Not exactly how Y/n was expecting to spend their afternoon but they weren’t complaining nonetheless.
“And that is how I reprogrammed Sophie’s human music thing to work here!” Dex concluded, smiling proudly. Y/n nodded along, not really understanding much of what Dex was talking about. It was all tech this and fixing an expensive sounding thingamabob. Nothing anyone, but someone good with tech, could understand.
“I’m talking too much aren’t I? I’ll stop, you probably don’t care about any of this tech stuff,” Dex said, looking up from his latest project in his hands. “I may not understand it but you have a nice voice, keep talking if you like,” Y/n said without looking up from the area of Dex’s bed they were zoning off at.
Dex blushed profusely. “Y-You think I have a nice voice?” He said, his face, neck and the tips of his ears dusted in blush. “Mhm,” Y/n said looking up at Dex, noticing his blush. His blush deepened as he looked away in a futile attempt to hide his face from Y/n’s gaze, “W-Well thank you I guess,”
Chapter 29: Death (Dazai
Chapter Text
Dazai had never felt so alive. Despite his…tendencies, Y/n loved him unconditionally which was odd for Dazai. While they were disappointed in his occasional questioning about a double suicide, they always declined saying something similar to “not today Dazai” or “I’ve still got stuff to live for! Like finishing a bottle of shampoo and conditioner at the same time.” Today though, when he asked, there was no joking excuse.
“Ok.” Dazai’s eyes widened at Y/n’s response. He had again asked to die with them by his side. He wasn’t expecting them to agree though. “What? You actually want to?” He asked, wanting to know what had pushed his beloved to wanting to commit such an act with him. “I’ve had it up to here with living,” Was all Y/n said, not going into further detail on the issue.
Dazai’s mind was on autopilot as he and Y/n climbed the stairs to the roof. A barrage of thoughts filling his mind. Would this be as satisfying as he’d always hoped? What about the life he had begun to imagine with Y/n? What was wrong with him? He finally had a beautiful partner to die with and he was questioning it? What was going on?
They stood on the roof, wind blowing through their hair. “Are you ready for this?” Y/n said, taking Dazai’s hand while stepping closer to the edge. Dazai’s doubts made his steps shaky and uncertain. What was he doing?
“Y/n…” Dazai pulled his hand away, falling to rest at his side. Y/n turned, looking at him curiously, “What’s wrong? You’ve always wanted to die with a lover right?” He nodded, “I have but…not you. You gave me doubts. I-I think I want to live. To live and be with you for as long as my mortality allows.”
Y/n looked at him, shocked. Then they just…sat. They sat down by the edge of the roof, patting the place beside them. Dazai sat there beside them. For the rest of the afternoon they just sat there and talked.
It was comforting but almost strange that one small moment, one word of confirmation, that led Dazai away from his stray towards death. For the rest of their relationship, and their lives, he never asked again for them to die with him.
Chapter 30: Stay (Lucifer)
Chapter Text
How did they end up in this position? Y/n had gone to spend a “Bonding Weekend” with Charlie since they were family now. While staying at the Hazbin Hotel, Y/n found out that Lucifer had booked a room right beside theirs. He probably wouldn’t be staying in that room though. The man (demon) was clingy as f*ck.
So here they were, Y/n and Lucifer, cuddled up in Y/n’s hotel room. Lucifer’s room was, of course, unused as he spent all of his time in Y/n’s room. There were various rubber ducks scattered on the desk, each of which had some likeness to Y/n. Whether it was the hair, eyes, etc. each had at least 1 shared feature with Y/n. This was probably due to Lucifer missing them while they hung out with Charlie.
Having finally crafted a duck perfectly in Y/n’s image, Lucifer was trying to convince them to stay in the room with him. “You and Charlie can bond later! What about me?” Lucifer whined for the thousandth time. “I came here to bond with Charlie. I’m kinda her bonus parent now and I want to be on good terms with her,” Y/n said trying to stand from their place on the bed.
Having married Lucifer, Y/n became, as they called it, Charlie’s bonus parent. This weekend was supposed to be for Charlie and Y/n to bond so Y/n wouldn’t be just another of her father’s partners. But Lucifer wasn’t having any of it.
“Come on Y/n! You and Charlie will have plenty of time to bond later! Look! I made you a duck! You can’t say no to a ducky, can you?” Lucifer whined, trying, and failing, to get Y/n to stay. “I’ll be back this evening, it won’t be forever. You’ll live,” Y/n said. “Noooo, I’ll die without you!” Lucifer said, falling back on the bed dramatically. “You’re already dead, drama king,” Y/n responded, rolling their eyes. “Now I’m off to go hang out with Charlie, au revoir.” When they left the room, Lucifer sighed and muttered, “Well, it was worth the shot.”
After they returned to their room, all of Y/n’s time was focused on “emotionally compensating” Lucifer for leaving him alone for so long. This involved mostly cuddles, hugs, and kisses much to Lucifer’s satisfaction and delight.
Chapter 31: Treasures (Tanjiro)
Notes:
FINALLY! It's over! It was so much fun to write though! I am now severely behind on my school work 😬
Chapter Text
There was no doubt, Tanjiro had a few crow-like qualities. He would come back from missions and randomly bring his s/o, Y/n, random things he found or bought that reminded him of them. It was cute. The objects ranged from pretty rocks to something he bought for her at whatever village he was staying at for his mission.
Today, Tanjiro returned from his latest mission with the Demon Slayer Corps. He had been staying in a small village where a demon resided in the woods just outside the perimeter. Having only consumed about 30 people, it was easy for the trio of boys to defeat the demon, despite how cocky it was in its abilities. Having had a bit of extra wages to spare, Tanjiro immediately went off to look through some of the shops before he needed to return.
Eventually, he settled on an accessory that had the same pattern as his haori. The black and green checkered accessory was then carefully put up as to not be ruined on the return trip.
Now, Tanjiro stood in front of Y/n. He was presenting the accessory to them and pointing out the matching design. With their permission, he put the accessory on them, admiring the way the black and green checkered pattern stood out on them. It seemed almost strange to see Tanjiro’s signature pattern on someone else but he seemed to find it endearing.
“You look so cute Y/n!” Tanjiro said, smiling at their slightly flushed cheeks. “Well thank you, Tanjiro, for getting this for me. I will add it to the collection,” Y/n said, attempting to hide their blushing cheeks. “Collection? Collection of what?” Y/n chuckled at Tanjiro’s question, “Of all the things you’ve given me silly!”
This time, it was Tanjiro’s turn to blush. They kept everything he gave them? “You-You keep all of the stuff?” “Of course I do, what else would I do with it?” Tanjiro shrugged, “I dunno, but I’ve given you rocks and stuff. You’re seriously telling me you keep all of that stuff?”
“Of course I do, every single thing,” Y/n said, smiling at how flustered Tanjiro seemed to be getting. They would have to show him the collection later. On their mantle, every gift, rock, or random treasure Tanjiro had ever brought them, was sitting there. And it was only going to grow now that Tanjiro knew how much Y/n appreciated the trinkets.
