I know we generally try to avoid discourse in this forum but I think we REALLY need to address the fact that some of the Descendants here are getting way too cocky and self-important. Just yesterday I saw a Valentino Descendant arguing with a Valentino Cousin about a… line of succession? Which isn’t even how acquiring Overlordship fucking works to begin with?? Need I remind you people that this is Hell and not 1760s Portugal. Unless you’re planning on ‘long live the king’-ing this shit, which I advise you to not.
Anyway, this weird hierarchy you guys are creating where one kinship claim is somehow ‘superior’ to another has to stop, it’s getting super weird and condescending.

Hello gang, I have returned with a plot so stupid that I just had to write it.

HUGE shoutouts to my friend and wife for the bit, Kat, who helped me flesh this out after I just dumped this idea into her DMs unprompted. This is a spin-off for my main fic, Birthright , but you don't need to read that one to understand this until later in the chapters. Very well, since no one’s gonna actually answer OP’s question I suppose I shall bravely step up and risk incurring the wrath of the mods, even if for the greater good.
Okay, so last year (circa late July or early August) someone wrote a post about the Overlords and asked for a ranking—or a scale, if you will—in terms of power and political influence. The discussion started out fairly lighthearted and civil until people started disagreeing with one another and the arguments got progressively more hostile. Threats were made, insults were thrown, people were doxxed, at least one person was subsequently stabbed in real life until the thread was locked. A few more followed with the same question and they all ended up the same way.
So that brings us to today, and whenever we hear about the Power Scale incident, no we didn’t.

Alright, so maybe this is just me being delulu and severely sleep deprived but is anyone getting some gay/queer vibes from certain Overlords? I mean, Valentino clearly swings whichever way as long as a hole is involved (and even a hole is optional at certain points, I suppose) but I swear Velvette only talks about women, only hires women, and I haven’t seen anyone radiate so much lesbian energy since Sappho herself.
