Chapter 1: eden
Chapter Text
such a white place, heaven. its gold run of angel's not one distant, disobedient, horrid and corrupt. except for many, of usually higher ranked angel's, not such as anybody of uninformed unimportance. the bias Lord who sits on his throne who had rested on the seventh day, as angel's don't get this 'sabbath', this divine whitch makes the berry's of Eden that bit sweeter and not give them to poor man. he can betray one as fast as he brang them to salvation, maybe so pure salvation would be here, but gods image if himself hadn't failed he had made 'Adam and eve' out of his own design his own 'love' his own contribution to contribute to their ,kicking out'. but what could and angel expect, Adam and eve had got exiled for eating a fruit.
^^
as the clanking heels of a angel in seemingly kitten heels stode through the pristine white halls, the robe that sat around her body, the sound also echoed due to the serene quite that voided towards Caiphazle (Crowley's angelic name (my au)) at this moment Caiphazle had been doing paperwork arrangements to his so heavenly made, stars. he loved their shimmer, their grace and their dignity with every wishful veiw. as they flew by it had almost seemed like the star 'erked' the veiwer to wish for its survival, to wish for themselfs as it went soaring past. he had been mainly responsible for the starts with a few higher placed angels checking in and signing what's needed. as the kitten heels stopped clanking and the assumed woman stood, back straight chest puffed out to show grace in her stature. he was sitting down at his glass desk as the angel placed a brown paper backed folder on the desk. with a quite dramatic plop.
"Caiphazle, I assume your now doing paper work about those lights?" archangel Michael spoke as she again took her eye emphasis to the pile of paperwork she had previously plopped on the desk. "yes, as usual I suppose! goodness I must ask what file is this? looks quite important!" Caiphazle spoke his usually gleeful tuned voice attained to the situation, making it less dull and tensioned. "ah yes, are you aware of a previously, I recall Dominion ranked angel, Aziraphale?" she spoke quite shaked breathed although looking so very calm. "yes I know him, well.. I've talked to him but very little, an odd guy he was he always was wondering? mostly innocent things but aswell with the mixed odd and depressing thought, quite nice though!" Caiphazle said, he wasn't necessarily lying although he had positioned himself out of it, making it seem these were one sided wonders. although Caiphazle did feel a flutter when Aziraphale called him 'dear'. Nice man really all in all.
"hum.. I am going to assume you didn't hear the news?" Micheal spoke solemnly. "huh? news?" Caiphazle spoke. "the Dominion ranked angel Aziraphale has.. fallen from grace.." she said wavering to the folder as Caiphazle opened it. "I can't take this job... Aziraphale was a good angel, and for wondering a bit too often. nobody deserves that! the poor man, first to fall. who knows what's happening right now he could be getting tortured!-" Caiphazle spoke quite content with his angry tone. he was a buddy of his, not close but a friend of proximity. that poor, poor man. "I don't advise questioning the Lords plan, and we only really have you that can take this job, you can work on your.. I recall stars..? Aziraphale had all his work done." archangel Michael spoke not solemnly at all now. it was bland, she is asking this so he'll take it and she doesn't have to find somebody else.
"what was his job? anyhow" Caiphazle spoke quite wondered. he had never known nor asked, although aziraphale- or rather whatever they would rename the so heaven earned man down there.. "he had made colour's, violet was my own request of name would you belive it." archangel Michael spoke so very flattered with herself; she looked so very dazzled. maybe forgetting that man had fallen, been through hell to even get to hell he had assumed. "colour's? goodness, he was and is quite important then is he not? I'd suppose colours were awfully hard to think of or wonder about, Don't you say?" Caiphazle spike standing up and crossing his arms in a more soft way than usual to say he had to angry or tension filled actions. "ah, yes, his disobedientce cost us alot? took a chip out of everything we barley know how to work the damn colour wheel, we know how to make colours from previously made ones but no-one can think of any new ones?" Archangel Micheal said stationing to toddle away. "seems hard" Caiphazle said knowing that his superior was about to ask him a question. "will you take it; the job that is" she said leaving the file and standing for a few seconds. "I shall, though only so that poor angel can maybe see the stars one day.." Caiphazle spoke so heavily heard, meaningfully his words echoed for a good few seconds as Michael strode away and before going to the elevator "congrats" she spoke a little mocking in Caiphazle's opinion.
(btw, ik 'satan' fell first but angel's don't mention him I suppose)
:::
as 'aziraphale' fell down it almost zapped before him he had been asking his lord, his hope, his one, his only allowed love and his life. some quite dare I say tedious questions, about Adam and eve, general wonders and such. nothing to horrid as to make him nervous or nothing discrediting. although what was humiliating is the fact of falling, the first angel to 'step out of line' and he had also been accused of influencing others. as the serene white floors below them opened and crackled. aziraphale felt golden tears roll down his face for no apparent reason. as he then realised this was wrong as his wings fell numb with pins and needles, almost feeling like they would be tore off as the started falling from the white buliding so very white, to the clouds of white in whitch he had originally called white; Bulgarm, although white suited. he then fell to black and red taints. he wondered what colours he would see in hell. as his wings hung loose and his golden tears turn to blood and he had reached the halfway. it had really hit him he would be going to hell. as he tried to fly his wings cracked and ached. making each feather black and some even falling out, feeling like it was forced pulled out. as he scremt his eyes began to queue shut in fright. as he then felt the cold serene feeling of ground.
as the sat in his puddle of black tar he opened his eyes, he couldn't see his colours, he couldn't see a thing.
he couldn't see anything, not even white or black, he forgot what they even looked like. he couldnt see,at all?
as he reached to pull himself out of the tar his now torn and sticky robe stuck. he scremt and at this point he supposed he would clean this tar off his eyes eventually. he soon scrambled out of the tar as he collapsed backwards and cleared the tar that was on his eyes he assumed was there due to his fall. as he opened them there was nothing, maybe his eyes were adjusting. as he lay down completely exhausted and his eyes and robe blood drenched from crying as even now tears still streamed from his face. he had no idea where he exactly was in hell what these devil's would look like exactly, he feared their looks, their disappointment of seeing an angel intruding although he hoped they would even partially sympathise with him. maybe Satan would, or maybe he wouldn't. he had never been in contact of so much devil's, well he imagined their would be alot. Well it's awfully unfair that Adam and eve 'humans' that are going to heaven will have to wait for a gods son to arrive and die and such to arrive in heaven. as he lay there he felt his hair. it was ofcourse sticky and tacky along with the feeling of Ash although his hair was still such a soft texture, not at all rough. as he felt along his neck and felt a horrid feeling? like a lump. it was in the shape of an animal, a bug?. as he felt its long slender legs he so harshly gasped as he realised it was a spider. he wasn't exactly sure whitch one but he knew it was one.
he found it so odd he had no recollection of colour, he knew it existed and what it was but he couldn't see it nor imagen it. its like how hard it was to make colour or imagen new colours. although in his biblically said angel form, he now had 2 such as a human form (commonly used) and an angel form whitch was used in the eyes of the divine. although whilst falling he feel into his human form. he wondered what he looked like at the moment. what this tar looked like. who will take his position. as tears feel down his face he was unsure if they were tears of gold or blood.
"holy shit, its that angel that was meant to be sent, well he's fucking early!" a womanly voice spoke although deep. "oh! look at his neck a 'Kauaʻi cave wolf spider' those little things have no eyes!" a manly voice said a bit of a lisp even. as aziraphale sat up the two jumped back, he knew by the rustle of sounds they both made, they were quite loud. as aziraphale then raised his head, he didn't exactly know where the two are. "you ok dude? he's hovering around in'ne" the more feminine voice said as a sound of approval came from the other. "I'm afraid I'm such in a sitch, I can't see at the moment there must be tar in my eye. although it might be from that crying blood business." aziraphale said trying to keep his composure and act accordingly. "ah, shit.. umh your eyes open them." the more masculine voice spoke. as aziraphale opened them their was a gasp. "holy satan. your eyes are so very white!" the femine voice said. "goodness satan." the other said. "I can't see a thing. I'm so very sorry, maybe a minute thing!" he spoke a bit worried now. "I think your blind, whitey." the masculine voice said. "hastur! don't say it to him right away dick weed." the femine voice said. hastur was the mans name. as the croaks in-between sentences he assumes the man had already been odd. "fuck off beezlebulb, the Swan deserves to know what his fucking 'leader' huh" hastur said croaking whilst saying Swan. he wondered why a Swan he was compared to? beezlebulb was the presumed woman's name. (Ik beezlebuld in nb but aziraphale assumed it was a woman dw he realised later!)
he was blind. blind as a bat. blind as the spider which resided within his neck.
as aziraphale started to tear up and again tears of pure deep red blood gushed out. splatting on his robe whitch was destroyed with dirt, blood and tar. as the two turn to look at the pitiful man, satan it was hard not to feel a bit bad for him. even though formality enemy's angel's were so pitiful well, the sweet ones, the undeserving ones, gods unnoticed ones. although apparently this man was a Dominion. odd. as the angel sat their tears rolling the two looked at eachother. his satiture was looking like he was in incredible pain and his black hair and wings looked to unsuited. although the eyebags that resided under his eyes made it seem he hadn't stoped wondering. his robe was destroyed with the tar whitch they both guessed the man hadn't know was half of the angel's blood and wing feathers. a slight trail where he pulled himself out. and his arms and legs partially missing skin patched, where the tar had especially stuck to him. his eyes were a heavenly white. they wondered why although it might have to do with anything. and it's not like he could see them anyhow. he couldnt see anything.
as the angel cleared his tears and the gloopey blood paused. the angel spoke so clear. "tell me what the colours look like, what they feel like" they again both looked at eachother. as hastur began. "your eyes are white, uhm.. they feel like a dove, very carefree, so serene." as beezlebulb then said; "your hair and wings are black with patches of white. the black seems, empty, scattered and like a hastley bumped rock. a stanza with none other to follow." as the angel cried again he tried to stand as hastur got his arm and looped the angels arm around his shoulder. "why did my god do this to me..?" he finally asked the two demons expected it much, much sooner though. "questions, aside from the topic what was your job or project as a Dominion ranked angel?" beezlebulb said trying to slither away from that topic. "I was a Dominion yes, I had made colour." aziraphale spoke quite fatigued. "colour, I can't remember my life without colour, can you now see colour?" hastur asked so wondered. "no. I can't see anything yet I don't know what I'm seeing, it makes my want too gouge my eyes out but I can't be like this forever. right..?" aziraphale spoke so so hurt. "your divine spoke the words and gave you this. no demon can change that not even satan." beezlebulb spoke a bit softer to comfort him. "why am I blind..?" aziraphale asked trying to feel his eyes. "the spider, the animal your lord gave you, it resembled something about you, I have a frog suit my croak in my voice" hastur spoke. "yes I have a fly due to the name I suppose beezlebulb and the 'zz' thats usualy said im my speach i suppose although it was Satan's decision really. I chose the name." beezlebulb said.
"ah yes, I'd suppose he made me this due to their specific epithet 'anops' means 'without eyes'. I'd suppose he took away my beautiful colours.. I spent my entire life making, perfecting." aziraphale spoke blood swelling in his eyes. "we'd better get you in the main bit this area is not known to most demons, its for drop offs but had never been used by demons." as aziraphale came with them his wings covered in tar. as he walked in other demons gawlked. as they brought him to a private room they helped him get dressed. revealing a huge burnt Cross on his back whitch was at this point scarred up. as they stared in horror at the amount of flesh that been ripped off his arms and legs from the tar. they tortured this poor guy before he even got to hell. "so whats going to be your name?" a demons asked again a masculine voice although not deeper than hastur's. "why, of course aziraphale dear?" he spoke. he although in this state was beyond ethereal to what demons would have seen. as them man sunk into aziraphale's 'dear' not in romance but comfort. "well you. Cant keep an angelic name down here.." the voice spoke again. "oh goodness I hadn't realised, is there any advise.?" aziraphale said so solemnly. "umh.. i guess you could just remove the 'phale' and it would sound cool." the unknown voice chimed in. "goodness I'll do just that, thank you although what's your name?" "ah, it's Eric it's pretty plain." Eric said quite flattered with the angels fondness, they all expected something of an angel that acts such as themselfs.
"it's beautiful Eric." azira said. he had expected them to be alot ruder along with the occasional curse word and nudge, he things they seem very.. friendly? much more non tensionous. "how was heaven, was it as lovely as they say?" Eric asked sitting down and helping aziraphale sit down aswell on the creaking cheap structure in the private room. "it's so serene, so tensioned, you could hear archangel Micheals heels a form of footwear, from miles away. our tables were glass and we were to praise/pray for our divine 7 times a day at anytime in the day but it must be on the hour. for example I could pray at 1pm then 2pm then 3:45pm. although it was all serene, white I don't ever remember doing anything but work or seeing our lord. it was the same day everyday I would wonder in silence and assumes that hell would be worse, dreadful. I had never thought my Lord would cast away my salvation over such questions.. make me not see my beautiful colours. what I spend my blood shed over, for his world, his humans eyes. maybe that's why they will be flawed if they do fail, they are like him. and the higher the angel the more of, exuse my language but horrible they are!" azira spat in word vomit. "so not the best I'd guess, I'd imagined it to be nice, although from what I've seen all angel's wear white, like little sore thumbs." Eric spoke.
"I agree although the Lord took away all colours I can't imagen what colours look like, make up my own or remember them." azira spoke. "your crying blood!" Eric jumped up and shouted. "ah yes another side effect." azira spoke wiping them off. although he continued in slow, so very slow tears that rolled down his face. whitch stained his face. "satan; you scared me!" Eric said. "sorry dear, I shouldn't have kept it to myself." azira said his eyes opening, whitch he now barley done out of embarrassment of not holding pupils and his eyes get aggregated. as he opened his eyes his white eyelashes rose as his eyes almost glistened with white. "you really are an angel.. I can't imagen you as a demon!!" Eric said seeing the mans tears of blood gliding down and hitting his black robe as his wings rested and his eyes shut. Eric was almost sure he also saw a halo although he knew this was of his own delusions.
----
from then on azira was know for his 'angel in demons clothing' meaning, although he was just generally nice. some demons would just gaze at him. he had also become acquainted with beezlebulb, Eric, hastur and ligur. all odd but people he comuned with. as he was sent to the garden of Eden he was shocked, well he had been in the planning and knew it well, but he was there as a temptation, he was to get one of his spiders and manipulate the woman or man into eating an apple. through his blindness he had found a solution for the time being. satan had given him a red jade's necklace in whitch it made him sense where people were infront and behind him within a radius. although not at all a permanent fix it would have to work.
as he knocked the huge door of Eden an angel that stood on guard there was only one, in whitch they held a flaming sword by rumor. "hello, what business do you have-" Caiphazle opened the door response said before realising who he's talking too. "Caiphazle?" azira said confused as to why he was here of all places?. "aziraphale!" Caiphazle spoke. "it's azira now dear, now I'm here for I recall the temptation." azira said walking in. "yes, I've been said too would- no uhm you go do your work.. demon" Caiphazle spoke. he had almost forgot he was a demon, he had fallen and he had been ordered to not be open. just let him do his tempting and on with it. although aziraphale or rather azira had been acting weird well he acted the same, sweet and chummy. but his walk and such, his direction! Caiphazle noticed.
"ah.. sorry darling I'll see you when I do dear." azira said strolling off trying to not get hit with a tree. he did eventually find a tree stick what would substitute something of better need of blind people such as himself.. when done tempting the two, azira was astonished at how gullible they were how their addictive personality, always wanting something better than before. he knew Caiphazle was on the wall sitting as he looked at the humans who were now in the sand. "I'd guess you'd be the reason they have a flaming sword quite generously." azira said joking him whitch startled the angel. "are you alright you stumble around alot these days- sorry for such an inappropriate question!" Caiphazle spoke still holding a grudge for the demon. "I'm blind dearest, divine had blinded me and made me cry these bloody tears out of command. I can't see my colours or your I'm sure, beautiful stars." azira spoke head slightly tilted upward to feel the wind as the other sat shocked. "I'm sorry azira, although your beautiful, ethereal.." Caiphazle spoke his wings frazzled up saying that out of embarrassment. "goodness Caiphazle, I must thank you. I'm so very sorry I can't see your stars" azira said solemnly nodding his head down. and with that the bloody tears came rolling more than usual, much more than usual. as Caiphazle watched contently, it would be better to let the demon cry, he deserved it in Caiphazle's opinion. a pitiful man azira always had been.
as Caiphazle sat there his wing spread out on the demons back who felt it and opened his eyes, this was the first time Caiphazle had saw the demons eyes. they were beautiful, the Lord couldn't take the holiness and pure innocence out of his eyes. just the sight. as azira smiled softly the world waited at least it felt it did. as the humans stopped fighting the animal they were about to stab and miss and as the wind flided and leaves rustled behind them as all Caiphazle could see sitting on the edge of eden was sand galore. they don't hate eachother for certain but the grudge between the species remained, nothing but odd blaintent meanness. Caiphazle knew if he were to see azira everyday this would be a day he remembered, cherished. the so soft sun rays hitting aziras red cheeks and his Ash black hair. his flashing wings of black whitch looked so surreal since Caiphazle has never seen anything like it. his red/ginger hair waved past his eyes. as the sun started to set, the demon had moved closer than when they got there. they could never be enemy's pure enemy's atleast. although he has to obey gods plan. as he got up azira took his hand and kissed it ever to gently. "I hope to meet you one day darling.." azira said. he knew what Caiphazle would do for himself in the situation he believed he would do the same, he wouldnt be as nice of a man but one he held dear to his heart. as Caiphazle left azira felt the soft air waving back and forth. it made him so very aware of his blindness in whitch he hated.
they would never hate eachother.
how could they?

Chapter Text
--this takes place when Jesus is now 32 (after the 400 years of silence)
"Azira, your ordered to be watching that new prophet, apparently the Lords son" beezlebulb spoke a grone in their tone. "Ah yes, I've heard the appearance has startled the people but there is quite a few believer's" azira spoke fixing his black robe. "Yes I've heard, do you think lucifer will get a prophet?" Beezlebulb spoke almost giggling. "Goodness no, I hope not anyways those poor people!" Azira spoke on the verge of getting ready to go back to earth. "You still don't act very 'demonic' dont you and you still talk so.. heavenly?" Beezlebulb said more weirded out than anything. "Hm, force of habit although I am quite demonic you see I actually the other day got 19 more tax collectors on the job!" Azira spoke proud of himself. "And let me guess 10 got killed by the public" beezlebulb said. "Now this is the demonic part it was actually 17, and 5 was by public hanging!" Azira spoke still proud. "Well keep it up, you'll be meeting an angel most likely down there we can't kill the thing but be a bit mean I suppose" beezlebuld said walking away. As azira came to earth once again he was in the middle of Israel, Nazareth. It was near Sepphoris, which was one of the two major cities in Galilee (Tiberias was the other). Although from what azira had heard he had also been around to galilee and judea. Although with his followers it was easy to find the man.
As azira stode down the village area his guilt consumed him. There was several poor families with such horrid circumstances, children used as slaves their tanned skin covered with scars of mistreatment he imagined, he couldnt see them but screams of women being beat and young men being whipped was apperant. by there shacky homes and humanitys fold in on itself. These poor, poor people. He just thought if god hadn't kicked mankind out, the falling never happened these family's would be so cozy, content. If the first child hadn't grown in eves stomach, the seed of whitch grew the tree. Adam and eve would be happy he'd imagen anyhow. Even with his tempting the Lord was his enemy for the moment. And for foreseeable future. The Lord made the option why? He didn't know. Although his walking stick helped alot with direction. He could luckily hide his wings, he just had to make sure that he kept his eyes closed. Odd times it was, he was wearing a black robe and sandals. It was now 32AD the Lords son had been alive for 32 years and been baptised 1-2 years prior after 400 years of silence by the Lord, azira knew what heavens plans until around 1000 AD after that he was unsure of what heaven had planned. For now an angel would be around just to keep updates and this angel will be on earth seemingly until a war or the earth is destroyed, giving info to heaven.
He had to do the same, give information once every few months or years he had been on earth permanently since Eden and had run into temporary on earth angel's/archangels. Although this angel was the same, he hadn't ran into them or he might never. He had wanted to see who took the job although he did hope it was someone he knew if so. As he again walked he bought an apple quite sweet things they are, he could see why the Lord wanted the humans to not eat them. As he knawed on his apple he heard this prophets voice quite mellow and rusky probably due to the grateful amount he speaks. He had heard stories of his healing the blind, feeding the millions and such. Also how he would tell story's in a very simple manner. Although the man was Jewish and the words he spewed seemed to direspect the religion as it says; God is one, has no form, created the world, is eternal and is still actively involved in world affairs and
It is heretical for any man to claim to be God, part of God, or the literal son of God. So it's especially odd to Jewish people how this man claimed to be Jewish he supposed. At this moment the man was explaining parabel's to the liseners as he stood leaning on a nearby tree he listened, he already knew the Ten Virgins, the Rich man and Lazarus, the Prodigal Son and the Good Samaritan. At this moment he was reciting the ten Virgins, whitch was picked with an odd name although it wasn't so much about virginity as much as wisdom and belief.
As this prophet rambled it soon ended and people returned to their homes, as azira now assumed it was late. As Jesus blessed all who was there and with that azira heard the scruff of sandals in sand come towards him the prophet hadn't realised he was a demon. Oh, how idiotic. "Hello, I am Jesus, Jesus christ as you may know" the man spoke so solemnly, probably trying to sympathise with him although he couldn't and wouldn't, afterall it was his father who took his eye sight. "Ah, yes a name I've heard, you'd be that prophet everyone has been scattering on about?" Azira spoke not caring of the lingering hints he left that he knows more than he should. "Ah, no I'm just simply spreading the words of the divine." Jesus spoke again trying to sympathise. "Well have a good life doing that" azira spoke a bit fed up of hearing the mans voice. "Ah, I will don't worry. I must query are you blind sir" Jesus asked by his tone he was trying to, or even pray for him. "Yes, I am." Azira spoke. "Goodness, I don't suppose you've heard of me healing the blind." Jesus spoke, azira was a little bored and this Jesus fellow seemed to be very confident in his unhuman abilities. "Go ahead, I don't think you will though, not to be of unkind words." Azira spoke inking the man to try and fail. "May you open your eyes..?" Jesus spoke a slight hint of unease washed his tone. As azira opened his eyes the men and women around them stumbled back in shock of their titanium white looks, with not a pupil in sight, as almost seemed luminous.
"Huh? Goodness prophet I can't see a damn thing?" Azira spoke giggling to himself. As he felt two arms take his shoulders in hesitation as they scuttled off. "Caiphazle? Goodness how are you my dear?" Azira spoke he knew the tone of panting Caiphazle was experiencing and also his scent, It was lovely and as refreshing as people imagine a cloud would be. "What were you doing out there azira!" Caiphazle spoke a bit tempered with the demons recklessly taunting actions "having a bit of fun!" Azira spoke they now stopped. Azira knew the man's expression and knew how tempered the angel can get, although usually It doesn't get the best of him. "Goodness darling don't get worked up now.." azira spoke setting his hand on the others in a comforting motion. As Caiphazle shuffled on the contact and sizzled so much he turned red, the demon had a soft smile. "It's been quite a while, huh azira?" Caiphazle spoke at this point he was gleaming a smile ear from ear although he was secretly happy the angel couldn't see if he could he would have to retain his smile. "So how have you been, dearest?" Azira spoke they now sat on what azira assumed was a wall. "Ah, good odd jobs here and there." Caiphazle spoke he knew well he shouldnt be talking so casually with a demon of all people although it did just pull him closer. "That's good! How's the man upstairs or moreso Gabriel and such?" The demon spoke there hands were still ontop of eachother although neither paid attention. "His usual 'jolly' self is how Gabriel is." The angel spoke in complete sass and sarcasm. Azira always found it odd that the angle would speak so I'll mannered for an angel he had no shame really.
"I see, your a Dominion if I remember correctly you've probably ranked up from my previous job." Azira said faintly looking towards Caiphazle. "Yes I am a Dominion now, how did you know I had took your previous place?" Caiphazle spoke a bit of solemn reeked the words. "Oh darling, don't feel at all bad! Your most likely fit for the job anyone's else but you and I'd be a little startled!" Azira again spoke now staring up, it was now dark with the stars shining in there religious orderly fashion. Aziras black and gray streaked hair swayed as his own ginger tainted hair swayed not as delicately. "It's nighttime.." Caiphazle spoke his eys tainted like glass in his eyes. "Ah I'm sure your stars are beautiful, I'd imagine them so brightly so highly! As beautiful as you dearest." Azira spoke smiling and looking up still. "It pains me.. you didn't deserve it azira, not at all." Caiphazle spoke looking away from the man who now had streaks of blood rushing down his face. "You know its quite funny I cry blood, for don't in future times the virgin Mary's statues were to cry blood!" Azira spoke in a airy voice to lighten the mood whitch he could only describe as damp, subversive and beautiful. These words can only describe his side of the conversation but he had hoped Caiphazle felt the same echoing parables he did.
"What happened when you fell?"
This was a conversation azira hadn't answered. And even though reading this now azira had still not told the readers the truth, all you have read is how he was told to belive it as. All lies until he felt in it, that pit of tar.
"..."
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked!"
At this moment Caiphazle felt like he was going to implode with the churns of this nervous stomach the look azira held made him sick. The mans eyes now poured, the rain in Eden couldn't compete. Azira closed his eyes his white eyelashes stained white and his mouth now dripped of blood. As Caiphazle sat shocked blood with what seemed like tar dripped from his lips and azira gagged and vomited.
"It's fine.. its only natural to wonder"
He spoke between gagges, he got up his black robe of sorts was destroyed and even the crevice behind his nails was blood filled. Caiphazle knew he couldn't touch blood. It would stain him, azira knew this well and never nudged for help.
"Are you ok!" Caiphazle said shocked and to be honest scared. "Quite alright. Must have just been an outburst" he said a spider crawled from under his sleeve and rested on his nose as if to comfort him. "Cute things these spiders are, they are also blind did you know? This one seems to recognise my anatomy I suppose. Cheeky little things!" Azira smiled at the thought of seeming the spider on somebody's nose. "Spiders are quite cute although through the teaching of this prophet along with the teaching of the oral tales and poetry based off the Septuagint the Eden story has been known of and now people think of spiders as horrid creatures, ones of the devil and such." Caiphazle spoke he seemed conflicted saying this. "But arnt all creatures of the divine meant to be respected? Greedy humans, all have one thing in common" azira spoke he seemed giddy speaking the last part. " huh? That would be" Caiphazle said as azira onec again sat on the wall a bit further due to not wanting to get blood on the halo ridden angel who sat beside him. "Humanity, a broad term but one they all require. The spiralling addictive personality that has lacked respect for eachother. What does divine do to help not a thing! Maybe it's because there based off him such as us. I don't get them at all, you can beat your wife strangle your son and not do it to yourself, pray for yourself. It's really utterly pathetic! I mean who decided that cannibalism is immoral and that beating your wife to a pulp isn't! I'd much rather be eaten. Wouldn't you my dearest!" Azira spoke this is a tangent azira had spoke a million times to his head when looking at these things. Azira himself had indulged in cannibalism once just to try really but it's his 'job' to be Humanity's worst isn't it? Ofcourse the person was already dead but in 753 BC the Founding of Rome (traditional date) people had been secretly indulging on eating others, he had ate a liver if it makes a difference.
"Humanity is as much independent in kindness as in the destructive others you talk about! Don't lump them into one I don't thinks it's fair really." Caiphazle spoke his speach wasn't as thought out but he agreed with his rather statement. As azira smiled his gleaming eyes opened again. "Well we all live with rose tinted glasses some are more of a murky red maybe more like a brown than a pink. Angels, demons and humans have this in common do we not. I can't see colour but how they affect your sight represents our life I suppose. Hanous as it is I feel when in heaven your rose tinted glasses are so very lively of a pink. You cant recognise it until replaced and when it is it gouges out your previous life, your eyes." Azira spoke. Caiphazle sat and listened , closely he knew these 'rose tinted glasses' were a more apparent phycological logic than in actuality wearing glasses. He knew what azira spoke had its truths well, they were HIS truths.
Caiphazle had his own truths. Ones he was given, a gift. These truths are what can be summarised to 3 subjects, god, belief and trust. He was at mature faith he had full trust. Azira had never been to that level he was at a childlike stage, where divine was a bald old, fat man with a ironically long beard who sits in a throne of clouds in the sky. Although being in heaven he hadn't been completely able to accept adhere to carry out comply embrace execute heed live by observe surrender question's whirled and contradictions were noticed by him. Twinges of changes were mentally challenging to him to comprehend. Well that's what Caiphazle had caught on too.
"You intrest me Azira."
"It's mutual, although this was the most loveliest of chats I've got some temptation and bits and pieces to do. Ill see soon." Azira stood up still stained with tar and blood. It looked as though he had been stabbed and decapitated by the amount of blood. Caiphazle looked at him earnestly. "I'll see you another time" Caiphazle finally said. Azira took a un-bloody part of his robe and took it over the angels hand as he kissed the top quite graciously. Caiphazle turned red and was simply happy the demon cared for the safety of his reputation, he was left unmarked. As Azira walked off into the street Caiphazle sat and observed him. His direction had gotten better he supposed. God, whenever azira left he felt to.. worthless, empty even. He would never and will never let azira know this and was sure azira didn't hold this gaping gap. As if his lungs had been ripped out is pretty accurate to how he felt. Although he was extremely bitter to others when feeling like this. He'd have to confess that sin anyway. One that burdened himself above others really.
As azira once again walked through the now quite streets he let tears drip down his face, he didn't care for the odd gasp or the obvious felt looks. As he wiped his tears with his robe he thought about the fall. He had fell, had been blinded but as many didn't know there was a beforehand. A month before anybody knew he had fell is when he had asked the question, what he had stated of being zapped straight away was a sought out lie, what he was told to tell I mean anybody would noticed inconclusive questions in his falling, or why in Eden he hadn't went into description on his wings shape. He could feel them they were unorganised and a horrid look he assumed. The huge cross burnt into his back it hurt when even thinking about this, why he vomited on the mention of the falling. To be simplistic there were too many questions unanswered for it to be the truth..
As azira stepped into his temporary home it had a bed, basin, nightstand, table and other small objects. On the nightstand he had a pile of books well four to be persistent on his truthful journey. As he picked the first one up the title was in Aramaic, a Galilean dialect of Aramaic. Through trade, invasions and conquest, the Aramaic language had spread far afield by the 7th century B.C. and would become the lingua franca in much of the Middle East. It about a proclaimed prophet, Moses of Crete, some of whose misguided followers apparently drowned when they attempted to cross the Mediterranean…which did not part as he promised. Fiskis (as his real name may have been) reportedly fled after that, and his fifth-century messianic movement has been all but washed away from history as a result. It was a bashful book but good reading none the less, the next was made of late a book about Jesus mostly propaganda on how he was misleading Jew's and such. Whitch azira still did think Jesus shouldn't be proclaiming Jewish if he his the song of God since its unheard of and unaloud. This book had been given as books by soldiers, some soldiers gave pamphlets to the poor although there was a huge sign outside the main synagogue, temple, minyan and havurah quite a number of people had set out to kill him although no success followed.
As azira sat on his straw filled mattress and his feather puffed pillow he thought, what an odd situation he had been with Caiphazle. Although it was enjoyable, someone to speak too that was quite the opposite of himself. Angelic and he didn't want that to change.
'he didn't want to leave the angel for so long again'
