The French Mist-...Wait a sec... Where the hell are we!?

Summary:

This is inspired by the episode "The French Mistake" when Balthazar sends Dean and Sam to an alternate universe where they are both actors.

But what would have happened if instead of sending them to that universe, Balthazar had sent them to the Omegaverse universe where Dean is married to Castiel and Sam to Gabriel?

In that universe where Dean told him how he felt about Castiel and where Jack is their biological son. Also where Sam and Gabriel are a couple after Gabriel almost lost Sam due to a hunt and that was where Gabriel proposed to him.

Chapter 1: Omega?

Chapter Text

Historia sin título de undefined

He wanted to die right now. Why the hell Balthazar didn't kill him and Sam when he could? He didn't understand it, but if he had, they wouldn't be here in a Bunker similar to theirs. Besides, Dean felt weird, very weird in fact. He had a feeling of being alert, protecting, searching, finding and smelling.

But what Dean didn't understand was, what he wanted to look for, protect and smell.

Find mate. Protect it. Our.

Dean started a little when he heard a voice inside him. What the hell was that and why did he feel calm when he heard that voice?

- "Dean, are you okay?" Sam asked worriedly, approaching his brother, seeing him jump in his place, and then seeing him relax.

- "Eh? Oh, I'm fine, Samantha. Let's see what's going on here," said Dean, starting to walk towards what looked like the Bunker room, since it was very spacious, it had some tables a little close together and in the corners there were some bookcases full of many books

- "Don't call me Samantha, Dean" Sam growled at his brother who only rolled his eyes mockingly saying "Whatever you say...Samatha"

Dean stopped in front of a desk - or so it seemed - and looked at several photos of him and Sam as children. But what caught his attention was a photo in which it is seen that he and Castiel are at a wedding. And not just any wedding, it seems like he and Castiel were married!?

- "Looks like you finally proposed to Cas, eh, Dean? You're even married and everything," Sam murmured next to Dean, taking the photo and looking at it.

- "Don't say stupid things, Sam. I don't feel anything for Cas" Dean responded to Sam who only saw him with a raised eyebrow. He doesn't know why when he said that, he felt a pressure on his chest and that made the voice inside him moan in pain.

Dean just shook his head slightly and looked back at the photo with a feeling of longing and worry.

Find mate. We need it with us. Find our Omega.

He heard the voice again, but instead of having a tone of concern, it had a tone of reproach. But what Dean didn't understand was what Omega said at the end. What is an Omega and why does the voice want so much to look for its "mate"? But what Dean understood was that his mate was Castiel and that he was an Omega. But...what was an Omega?

Chapter 2: A voice says that he is mine

Chapter Text

Two hours had passed since Sam and Dean had arrived in that parallel dimension. And several things were very strange. One of them was a voice inside him that told him or rather demanded that he look for his Omega. Dean already knew beforehand that the voice referring to "Omega" meant he was talking about Castiel.

But what Dean didn't understand was why that voice said "Omega" to Castiel, if Cass was an angel or more specifically a Seraphim. Seriously, Dean didn't understand shit and this whole situation was bothering him too much. He had also noticed that his sense of smell was more developed than before. He could smell fragrances that he hadn't smelled before and that bothered him greatly. There was also something inside him that begged him to look for a specific smell to immerse himself in and never leave again.

Dean had experienced several things over the years, but this desperation was not one of them and that made him upset. So much so that he began to let out a strong, sour smell that made Sam hit him on the head to get his attention.

- "Dean, would you stop letting out that smell? It's already bothering me" Sam growled with a thicker and louder voice than usual, making himself surprised.

- "What the hell are you talking about, Sam? I'm not letting out any..." Dean's voice faded little by little as when he sniffed the environment, he noticed a strong and sour smell. It was a mixture of stale beer and charcoal, and the strangest thing of all was that it came from him. How the hell could Dean be giving off that smell?

We're an Alpha, idiot

That voice inside him again. He must have been going crazy, or maybe there was something wrong with his brain.

You are not crazy and if you were, our Omega would love us the same.

That voice was driving him crazy. He did nothing but insult him and scold him, asking him to go look for Castiel. But Dean didn't pay attention to him, it's not like Castiel lived in Dean's ass, the man is busy; but the voice inside him didn't think the same. Dean needed a cold beer and maybe a fuck with some pretty girl.

Dare to do it and I swear I'll make sure you can't eat anything

Okay, beer will be.

After Dean had drunk two beers and Sam had only scolded him when he was going to drink the third, the Bunker was completely silent. Except for Dean's room, which was a total mess. Dean didn't know what was happening to him, but he felt a very painful pressure on his chest that didn't let him breathe. He needed...He needed...

He needed Castiel...he needed his Omega...

A few hours had passed and Castiel had not arrived. Dean was starting to worry just like his inner voice. He couldn't handle the pain in his chest or the feeling of irritability and anger; so he destroyed everything that was in his room. His bed had torn sheets and pillows, his clothes were scattered on the floor in disarray, the wooden table next to his bed was destroyed and Dean didn't give a damn.

He needed Castiel and he needed him now.

When he was about to approach the door to leave the Bunker, a smell of flowers and honey reached his nostrils, making him calm down a little.

Omega. Our. Protect it. MINE. OUR.

The voice inside him became louder and louder and Dean only listened to the voice, looking for Castiel, who was entering through the door of the Bunker with Gabriel and Jack behind him. Dean, seeing this, growled and approached Castiel to hug him tightly.

- "Dean!?" Castiel screamed as he felt Dean begin to lick his neck looking for the place where Castiel's scent was strongest. "What's wrong? Are you okay?"

- "Mine. My Omega, my angel. Only Mine" Dean growled hoarsely, feeling how Castiel trembled a little when he heard his tone of voice and Dean couldn't be happier. His Omega was with him and it was only his and no one else's.

Those thoughts should have scared Dean, but he was only focused on continuing to lick and smell Castiel's neck. Maybe when he's a little saner, he'll realize that his alpha had come forward to say those words that Dean might be ashamed of later.

Chapter Text

Several hours had passed since Jack, Castiel, and Gabriel arrived at the Bunker. The three angels— plus Nephilim—had noticed that the hunter brothers were acting very strangely. Sam was smelling and marking Gabriel with his scent every time he was near him, and Dean was always at Castiel's side like a dog with its master.

Although Gabriel and Castiel weren't bothered by their Alphas being behind them, they sensed that Dean and Sam were feeling a little ill. They even thought they would have a heart attack, but they dismissed that thought when they saw Dean eating three pies and a hamburger, along with Sam, who ate a salad and a pumpkin pie.

Even after seeing that, Gabriel and Castiel were still worried about their Alphas. Cas's inner omega whined with worry for his Alpha, sensing something bad was happening to him—even though Dean told him he was fine.

Castiel made him believe he believed him, but in reality, Castiel knew Dean was lying. After years of being with the Winchesters and marrying Dean, Cas learned when Dean was lying about something and when he was telling the truth.

So yes, something bad was happening to his Alpha, and he was going to find out what it was.

Gabriel, Jack, and him were getting ready to go to Bobby's house, as Bobby had asked them to translate some books in Enochian, due to several angelic marks seen in some towns. While Gabriel and Jack were packing some bags of clothes, Castiel found himself being hugged by Dean, who refused to let go.

"Dean, you have to let me go."

"No, I don't want to," Dean protested, putting his head on Cas's stomach and hugging him a little tighter.

"It's just a little hunt, Dean. We'll be fine," Castiel commented, putting his hands on Dean's shoulders to push him away, unsuccessfully. "Dean, we're just going to Bobby's house to translate some books and-"

"And after you translate the books, what? I don't want anything bad to happen to you. You're mine, only mine," Dean growled into Cas's stomach, pulling him closer. He's mine, only mine, Dean thought as he felt Cas trying to push him away without success, making Dean purr happily to himself.

"Dean..." Castiel sighed, feeling Dean lightly caress his waist.

"Cassie, we're ready. Let's go!"

Castie turned his head toward the bunker door, seeing Gabriel being kissed by Sam while his son, Jack, was holding the bags of clothes.

"Dean, I have to go now. You don't have to worry, okay? Our son and I are going to be fine," Castiel said to Dean, feeling Dean stop caressing his waist and freeze. "Dean?"

Castie just watched as Dean pulled away from him, then looked into his eyes and placed a small kiss on his lips.

"Okay, see you in three days," Dean whispered against his lips, causing Castiel to nod. He then pulled away from Dean and walked over to where Gabriel and Jack were waiting for him.

Son.

Our Son.

His and Cas's.

Jack.

Jack is Castiel's son.

Jack is his son.

Jack is his and Cas's son.

He has a son with Cas.

HE HAS A SON WITH CASTIEL!?

Dean feels like he's going to faint at any moment. He doesn't know why but he feels very happy to know that Jack is his and Cas's son.
