Chapter 1: Author's Note - (Background and Posting Schedule)
Chapter Text
Posting Schedule:
Chapter-One and Chapter-Two will be posted by January 11th, 2024.
Chapter-Three and Chapter-Four will be posted by January 16th, 2024.
Chapter-Five and Chapter-Six will be posted by January 21st, 2024.
Chapter-Seven and Chapter-Eight will be posted by January 26th, 2024.
Background:
Peter Parker is 20 years old. His parents still died in a plane crash while his aunt and uncle died in a car crash.
Tony Stark is still rich and famous and all that good stuff, but his double life of being in the mafia is not known to the public, as is the rest of the mafia involvement.
Natasha Romanov is the leader of the Italian/Russian mafia family (Avengers they call themselves). Her morals are to protect the innocent and get justice that the system won't get. Hence the reason she wants to keep Peter away from the groups that want Peter either dead or tortured for whatever he saw (you'll learn that later on).
Peter isn't dumb at all in this, but he's oblivious and stubborn to multiple things. (A cinnamon roll trying to be intimidating but looking like an adorable puppy vibes).
Tony, Steve, and Bucky are in a relationship known to the family, but nowhere else.
SHIELD will appear, but not immediately.
Tony still is Iron Man and Steve and Bucky are still super soldiers, named Captain and Soldier. Their backgrounds will be more in depth throughout the story, but that's what you need to know from the beginning.
Wanda Maximoff is not directly involved with the family business, adopted by Clint at a young age and is Peter's age. She will be a supporting character for Peter while he's with them. (Pietro isn't dead in this story IF I decide to rope him in somehow).
Some topics revolving around eating disorders or just bad self care will be brought up a few times, so there's that.
Anything sexual or romantic that involves Peter with Tony and Steve and Bucky is consensual, no rape or any related activities in this story.
Chapter Text
“Peter Benjamin Parker. He’s 18 years old, a sophomore in college and works at the library on Merrick.” Clint points to the map projected in front of them before continuing. “He lives alone here, and is rarely seen here.” He points towards the college he was enrolled in.
“Why?” Tony cuts in, wondering how MIT would allow a student to attend while never actually attending in person.
Clint glared at his interruption, but answered. “Health issues, not really important, what is important is the fact that he is most of the time at his apartment or at the library.” Tony went to speak again, but Clint cut him to it. “Now, can you hold your questions until after I’m done?”
Natasha cleared her throat, making Tony grumble but went silent afterwards. “Continue.” She said, sitting next to Bucky and Wanda.
Clint nodded, “Alright, so based on his schedule, the best time to snatch the guy would be either a Saturday night, or early Monday or Wednesday mornings. His disappearance will be noticed by the library given their staff shortage. The only other issue is his friends Ned Leeds and Michelle Jones.” Clint switches the screen to show a picture with all three of them.
A more than not serious looking girl, long curly dark hair. She reminded a few of them of Natasha with her glare she gave to the camera. Ned Leeds, in the middle of the picture with a bright grin, arms around both Peter and Michelle. Then there was Peter, a small smile on his face while he looked into the camera. He looked a little underweight in the picture compared to his friends, but still smiling.
“They both have keys to his apartment and regularly check up on him at least two to three times a week.” Clint takes a drink from his coffee cup, “They’ll most likely be the first ones to know he’s missing.”
“So what… we’re supposed to take them too?” Wanda asked from the side.
“No, but we should monitor them until this all dies down.” Clint clears his throat, “I’m thinking we should go Saturday, they never visit on Saturday nights and they won’t until at least Tuesday, it’s the best time to get ahead of the news of his disappearance.” He turns to face Bucky and Steve. “It’s a three person job, a lookout and two just in case.”
“Got it, want us to handle a kid, huh?” Bucky huffed out. “Little guy looks barely 120 pounds.” He stood to point at the young man in the picture.
“He’s not just a kid.” Natasha spoke up, not appreciating the tone Bucky had. “Peter Parker is not to be underestimated, he is clearly well adapted and capable. Don’t let him fool you with his looks.” She says, Bucky nodding and settling back in his chair.
“With that being said, Hydra isn’t going to wait for us to take him, so we need to make the plan right here right now.” Clint says before facing Natasha again. “So, what will it be, Boss?”
Their plan was simple. A quick in and out, snatch and grab.
Clint was stationed at the front door, Steve and Bucky in casual clothing to blend in with the other people around the library, acting as if they were searching for something while keeping an eye on Peter.
The man was helping a woman find a new book after she finished her old, not noticing the lingering looks of Steve or Bucky while he moved around the isles next to them.
“He seems nice.” Steve says to Bucky after Peter headed back to his desk, fumbling with something they couldn’t quite see. The young man looked skinnier than the picture had shown, bags under his eyes and cheeks were less filled. Steve wanted to say something about his appearance but his thoughts were cut off.
“No time to get to know the guy, let’s do this first, then make those decisions.” Clint’s serious tone came through the comms. “He should be heading out within a few minutes.” Bucky saw Clint acting as if he were on his phone at the front.
Peter looked around the library, meeting Bucky’s eye for a moment before Bucky turned, mumbling words to act as he were talking to Steve while they saw Peter get out of his seat. He picked up his jacket, shrugging it on before turning off the light at his desk and walking down the stairs towards the back exit, just like Clint had told them.
“Alright, follow him at a distance until you get to Walsh.” Clint says while leaving through the front. They were already walking to the exit Peter had used.
Peter kept a good distance from them, until a crosswalk where they caught up. The man clearly kept an eye on them, Bucky caught him looking up and down their bodies like he already didn’t trust them. Smart kid. Bucky thought as they continued to walk, this time Bucky and Steve in front slightly, knowing Clint wasn’t far behind.
They were coming up to the alleyway on Walsh, Sam waiting for them down the street in one of their cars. Peter seemed distracted, looking between the different buildings and apartments and people passing until no one else was on the same street.
“Take him now.” Clint’s voice came through.
Peter didn’t see them coming behind him so fast as they quickly pulled him from the lit up sidewalk to the darkened alley. His voice was muffled behind Steve’s hand, until he bit into the skin causing Steve to curse under his breath and Peter yell out.
“Get off me! Help–” Bucky slammed Peter into the wall, knocking the breath out of him.
“Be quiet.” He hissed at him. Peter could see their faces now, eyes filled with both anger and fear. He glared at both of them, but they could hear his heart beating wildly in their grip as they had him held against the wall. “If I let go will you be quiet?” He asked, his metal hand resting over Peter’s mouth.
Peter’s muffled voice against his hand and a nod made him drop his hand. “Thanks, now can you let me go next?” He asked, huffing out a breath.
‘ Snarky. ’ Bucky thought. It reminded him of Tony. “No can do. You’ve got to come with us.”
“What?” Peter looked between them, “No.”
“Not really your choice now, is it?” Bucky says, hand tightening over Peter’s shoulder when the man started struggling against him again. There was no point, Bucky could probably pin Peter down with a finger with the amount of skin and bones he had, and that was without the super serum running through his veins.
“I don’t know who you guys are, but you can’t just go around stalking people and holding them against their will.” Peter pushed at Bucky’s arm, not moving him whatsoever. “This has been fun and all, but I should really get home.” He switches to Steve. “Tell me you’re the more reasonable one?”
Steve raised an eyebrow at Peter’s reactions to them dragging him into the alley and saying he wouldn’t be leaving, he was prepared for Peter to be kicking and screaming, not this. Bucky beat him to talk again, Clint’s footsteps coming up from the entrance of the alleyway. “Will you just shut up?”
“No. I don’t think I will.” Peter shot back, taking in Clint’s approaching form. “Oh, him too? Wow, three fully grown men to take little old me?”
Yeah, he really is snarky. Bucky thought to himself before turning to face Steve, “Hold him.”
Steve quickly pushed Peter back against the wall when Bucky let go, the younger trying to get away without success. He saw Bucky walking over to Clint, “Can you at least let me breathe?” Peter wheezed out, Steve putting less pressure against his chest but kept firm. “So what is this? I’m pretty sure you don’t go to my college so you can’t know me from that.”
“Just keep quiet and listen to us, it’ll go a lot smoother if you do.” Steve said, half warned him.
“Fine, but can I please sit down? I have health problems.” Steve raised an eyebrow, not believing him fully. “I can’t stand for long periods of time or I’ll get dizzy, please can I just sit down.”
Steve glanced over towards Bucky and Clint, both talking in low voices. Steve heard them talking about Sam coming to meet them, another minute or two. “Fine.” He let Peter, not so gracefully, slide down the brick wall. He was really towering over him so he took a step back. “What gets you dizzy?” He asked.
“Why should I tell you?” Peter narrowed his eyebrows at him, clearly not becoming nicer, but Steve couldn’t blame him.
“Nevermind.” Steve huffed out, watching Peter’s face turn into some less mean, maybe a pinch of guilt.
A minute passed with no interruptions, Peter sat on the floor, hands and face shaking slightly due to the cold. Steve was half tempted in giving his jacket, knowing the cold didn’t really affect him anymore, but Bucky cut through his thoughts.
“Falcon’ll be here in two minutes.” He glanced at Peter. “Why is he on the floor?”
“ He can hear you.” Peter shot back, trying to look intimidating but only looked like a shivering puppy with his eyes. “And what’s with the codenames?”
“Like I said, why is he on the floor?” Bucky ignored Peter.
“Not goin’ anywhere.” Steve retorts, knowing they could go over Peter’s health issues when they get out of here. “Hawk, what’s our time looking like?” He asked the man who was looking at his watch.
“Minute out, forty when we start driving.”
“Wait… you can’t be serious about taking me, right?” Peter spoke up, this time his fear evident in his voice. His eyes shifted from each of them, taking in Clint’s new figure. “And who the hell is he?” He nodded towards him.
“Not a concern of yours.” Clint said without looking at him. “Watch em Cap.” Clint says while walking away with Bucky again.
“Is this some twisted ‘ What would you do? ’ situation?” Peter asked from his spot on the ground.
Steve almost smirked at the comment but kept his face schooled. “No, now can’t you just keep quiet?” He watched Peter rubbing his hands together. “Are you cold?” He asked.
Peter hesitated, watching Steve’s expression and stance over him. “No.” He finally said, a tremor in his voice and shake of his shoulders.
Steve sighed, knowing Peter was definitely not going to be easy to handle once they got back to the compound. “Just take my jacket.” He started shrugging off the fabric, holding it out for Peter to take. “Take it.” He repeated when Peter just kept watching him with skeptical eyes.
Reluctantly, Peter reached out for it. “Thank you.” He quietly said, the rude persona he was sporting before vanished. Peter shifted to put it on, wary of his actions when Clint and Bucky had stopped talking to see why he was moving so much.
It swamped his body, sitting down covering his thighs and hands were barely visible through the sleeves anymore, but it must have done something to help keep him warm considering he wasn’t shivering as much. Steve automatically mentally narrowed down Peter’s health issue to low blood pressure, causing dizziness and easily cold, that fit the bill in front of him.
“Alright, time to go.” Bucky says, walking over to them, Clint is now walking out to where Sam had brought the car. Peter was watching between all three men plus the car, Steve heard Peter’s heart pick up.
“You– you can’t actually be serious.” Peter’s voice went back to his initial tone, defensive, fearful, and angry. He made no move to stand, “I don’t even know you guys.”
Steve put a hand in front of Bucky, stopping him from forcing Peter up, he knew they’d have to go slow with this. Forcing Peter to do anything, especially without any details or facts about this entire situation wouldn’t help. “I’ve got this.” Bucky grunted, giving him a look before ultimately turning around and walking back to Clint and Sam.
“You can’t expect me to actually go with you, right? I don’t know you guys.” He repeated, the fear in his voice overriding the anger.
Steve looked down at him, wishing they had just waited to do Plan B instead, Peter’s face held what he could only describe as panic when Bucky had come over to tell him they were going to take him. “You don’t got much of a choice.” He said honestly. “Only thing you got a choice in is if you’re gonna pick a fight, but you won’t win.” Steve says a little crudely.
Peter looked at him for a few seconds, Steve was prepared for the man to argue again, even fight him like he said, but he started to move to stand. He was unsteady on his feet for a moment, Steve reached out to help but Peter just glared at him before blinking away the dizziness. ‘ Yeah, that’s not healthy. ’ Steve thought to himself.
“I’ve got it.” Peter spat out when Steve tried helping again when he stumbled.
Steve saw both Bucky and Clint’s faces as they waited, Bucky looking a little surprised while Clint looked more concerned, but Peter kept his face down as he continued to walk, Steve right behind him. He kept walking, until he suddenly stopped, Steve almost walking into him when he pointed behind Bucky. “Who the hell is that?!” His voice was panicked.
Automatically, everyone looked behind where Peter was pointing, expecting to see a Hydra member or even police officer with how long they’ve been lurking in the alley, only to see the street was still empty. Steve was pushed back, with more strength than he expected out of the way while Peter darted back into the alley, “Fuck!” Bucky cursed as Peter left their sight, turning the corner.
Steve and Bucky could hear Peter still running, not letting up until they could no longer hear him. “I guess we’ll go with Plan B.” Clint’s tone was both annoyed but also impressed.
Peter could barely feel his face anymore.
The men from the alley hadn’t chased him, but he didn’t stop running until he felt his legs beginning to weaken, only another few corners to turn until he reached his apartment where he’d be safe. He didn’t know what those men wanted. He automatically suspected a mugging, but after they talked about taking him, he narrowed it down to human trafficking. A shiver went through his spine as he reached the front of his building.
He wasn’t faking the fact he was feeling dizzy, but he kept the act up after it went away to draw their attention away enough to make a run for it. And it worked. He felt a bit bad for stealing the blonde, less rude and scary man’s jacket, but not after thoroughly thinking about what exactly just happened as he entered his apartment.
He locked the door within a second of stepping inside.
Peter heard movement behind him, making him freeze before he felt something stabbed into his neck. His body dropped without his own say, it felt like his skin was on fire where he was attacked on his neck. Peter could barely keep his eyes open after the burning and electrifying feeling stopped. The last thing he saw was two people, covered in shadows standing over him before everything went dark.

Chapter Text
Peter felt heavy as he came to, a headache already known as he winced at the bright light above him. Blinking slowly, he remembered what had happened, taking in his surroundings. The room he was in wasn’t much, a plain decorated room, not overly decorated like someone actually slept here, but not a cell like he expected to find himself in.
He didn’t have to think too long about it, the door on the wall to his right opened, revealing the man who originally went after him. Soldier. The man must not have realized he was awake, take aback with Peter shifting to sit up more, glaring at the man.
“You.” Peter bit out before the man could even speak.
“Relax,” The man raised his hands in a calming gesture, which did nothing as he had shut the door behind him. “I’ll explain a few things.” Peter hesitated but nodded. “First, are you hungry?”
Peter couldn’t help but scoff at him, not believing the switch between kidnapping him and offering food. “So what, you kidnap me then want to act like you didn’t?” He crossed his arms over his chest, attempting to make himself look bigger. “Just tell me why I’m here.”
“Fine.” Soldier let out a breath, either in annoyance or exasperation. “You, Peter Parker, saw something you weren’t supposed to see.” He paused, letting Peter soak in the information before continuing. “Therefore, this is for your own protection.”
“This as in?”
“Confinement for the foreseeable future.”
“What!?”
The man’s muscles flexed under his T-shirt at Peter’s sudden movement to sit fully up, kicking the blanket off him. “Unless you tell me exactly what you saw, then you’ll be staying here.”
Peter knew that wasn’t an option. “So I’m a prisoner…”
“If you want to see it like that, yes. You’ll still get food, water, all the necessities, but this is for your own good.” Soldier said, turning to leave the room. “I’ll send in food in a few minutes.” Peter went to get off the bed to go after the man, but the door was shut, a lock clicking in place before he was even a foot from the bed. He felt a little dizzy, using a hand to hold himself up while the spots faded from his vision. He mentally cursed at himself for getting himself in this situation in the first place.
He sat on the edge of the bed, the rumpled blanket on the bed while he weighed his options. He definitely, totally, could take on the man that had just talked to him. Peter scoffed at the thought. At least they weren’t selling him to some messed up group or organization. Or worse, killing him.
The second door in the room, on the opposite wall of the bed to the left was a bathroom. The door was open enough to see the basic tiles on the ground until the rest was casted in shadows. Peter turned his head to look at the different drawers, he could possibly make something to try to break the bedroom door open, but he’d have to figure that out after his headache went away. It was hard to think clearly with the throbbing on his temple.
His clothes were different than the ones he knew he had on… either last night or however long ago it had been. It didn’t help his thoughts as he realized they had changed him. He peeked into his pants, making sure his boxers were the same ones. Thank god they were.
The door opened after a quiet singular knock, this time the other man from before coming in. Captain. The man holding a bowl, “Not allergic to anything, right?” He asked.
Peter shook his head and grabbed the offered bowl. “Thank you.” They might have kidnapped him, but May taught him manners, plus being nice might help him in the long run. The man smiled, a genuine smile and nodded, making Peter give him a questionable look. “What?” He kept the snarkiness out of his voice.
“Just glad we ain't gonna accidently kill you because of allergies.”
Peter paused from eating, “Are you– are you going to kill me?” He couldn’t help but ask after hearing the man’s words. Even if Soldier didn’t say they were going to kill him it didn’t help his thoughts on the subject.
“What? No.” Captain shook his head, the smile and amusement gone. “After all this is over, you’ll go back to your life and we’ll leave you alone.”
“And when will that be?” Peter played with the spaghetti noodles and meatballs in his bowl.
For once, the man didn’t speak immediately, thinking his words over. “Not for a while.” The man paused, “But, you won’t be stuck in this room all the time.” Peter met his eyes at that, peaking his interest. “Given the right security, we’ll let you out and around the compound. But I will warn you now, do not do something you’ll regret.” His voice had a tone of intimidation.
Peter didn’t answer him, the bowl still warm in his hands as he processed the threat, but the idea that he won’t be stuck in this room eventually. “Are we clear?” He asked after a moment.
“Crystal.” Peter said back, watching the man nod.
“Good, now finish your food.” He says before leaving the room, leaving Peter in silence.
He found out it was midday when the man had returned to collect the bowl, explaining the issue of the lack of his clothes for now. Meaning Peter would have to either stubbornly wear the same clothes the entire time until they gave him the right fit, or the clothes that were offered in the meantime.
“So what’s your name?” Peter asked before the man had left.
“Steve.” Was all the man– Steve –said.
Now, Peter was sitting on the bed again, given instructions to just ‘relax’ before their boss was going to talk to him. It was hard to relax when the man had acted like the boss was one moment away from putting Peter in an actual cell.
He had learned why his headache was not going away with just time, apparently when he was knocked unconscious his head had crashed against his side table at his apartment door when he fell, plus Steve had apologized when he admitted Hawk had accidently hit his face at some point in the transportation.
Peter was given a Tylenol pill, but threw it in the trash after Steve had left, not fully trusting them yet. Steve had shown him the bathroom, explaining what they’ll allow in the future, but for now all he had in the bathrooms were the basic items; toothpaste, tooth brush, toilet paper, towels, soaps, and even an electric toothbrush and floss kit.
He already had a few thoughts running through his head on what he could possibly use for his own defense. The electric toothbrush would come in handy if he was able to take it apart, but he’d need to figure that out later.
The door opened, this time without a warning knock. Both Soldier and Steve entered, the last person being a woman behind them. With both of the men standing so close, Peter couldn’t help but shift a little uncomfortable in his spot. The woman was clearly the boss, her stance between the men was powerful, intimidating.
“Peter.” She greeted for a moment, not wanting him to reply given the fact she continued. “Steve, James, you can go.” She turned her head to gesture to them to leave. James grumbled, either at the order or the name drop before leaving, Steve following behind. “How is your head?” She asked, coming over to take the empty glass he had used for water.
Peter knew better than to not answer her, he had to play his part right. “Better than before. Is this the part where you torture me for information?”
The woman laughed, “No, you wouldn’t last a minute. I’m just introducing myself before you’re allowed outside of here.” Peter sat up more, straightening his back at the aspect of leaving the room. She chuckled again, “Don’t get too excited. I didn’t say today, but eventually.”
“Okay.” Peter nodded.
“There will be ground rules though.” She said, turning the glass over in her hands. “James and Steve will be guarding you, so don’t piss them off and listen to them. If you think about attacking them, it’ll end badly, so don’t.” She warned, “You will have necessities, and might be able to do certain things with the right monitoring–”
“So, I’m practically on child supervision.” He cut her off.
Peter expected the woman to hit him for being so rude, but she just gave a hard look. “If that’s how you see it, yes. Like Steve had explained to you, this is for your own good. You’ll be out eventually, just don’t make it harder on yourself.”
Peter nodded, “Sorry.”
“Don’t be. A lot of people in your situation would be pissing themselves and crying by now.” She said, earning a small huff from Peter. “If everything goes as we plan it, you should be able to go home in a few months.”
“Months!?” Peter practically shouted as he repeated her. “I can’t stay here for months.” He thought they might keep him here for a week, possibly two or three, but months . He would not survive these people, not with how much he wanted to snap at them.
“You’ve gotten yourself into the limelight of bad people out there. It’s going to be a while until they aren’t going to be gunning for you for information.” She said, not at all bothered by his outburst.
“Oh, but you guys aren’t?” He couldn’t keep the snark out of his voice.
“Given the circumstances, no.” The woman had a glint in her eye, dangerous and calculating. “But if you were to threaten our well being here, that can very well change.” Peter shrunk back, swallowing hard and keeping eye contact. “Understood?”
“Yes Ma’am.” He quietly replied.
