Chapter Text

She wanted to fight for her friend's future, in the end, she did just that. She defeated the great evil that was known as all for one, infused by his successor, shigiraki tomura. Her body wouldn’t make it, she knows that for sure, sacrificing herself, to save the day. Just like her sensei taught her too. 

“Midoriya! We’re r-right here!” izumi drifted her eyes upward to see her class staring at her,, blood was dripping from her mouth as she felt colder by the second, “todoroki! Try to close that hole! With your fire!” izumi coughs as blood spills out of her mouth. “D-don’t…. “ she spoke as everyone that was around her froze." I won't make it…"Izumi looks up into the skies to see the stars sparkling. They were beautiful, “i-i know that you are sad…but i chose this path, this path of violence” izumi’s vision started to go dark, her lips started to tremble “so please ... .please smile for me…” she said

“Midoriya….i don’t know how we can do that without you here..” she hears kirishima talking, the darkness enveloped her vision, but she can hear them moving around, even if todoroki did his best to make her warm, she still felt cold. “Where are you guys?” izumi felt her tears streaking down her face “we’re here, deku-chan” she hears her best friend, “u-uraraka-chan,,,” her voice breaks as she tries to think, but she comes up with nothing, 

“Im afraid to let go…” izumi feels someone holding her up, “w-will,,,,will you guys,,...be okay without me?” izumi feels tried. As her body begins to lock up, she can’t feel anything. 

“Yeah…we’ll be okay, deku, you rest alright?” she hears kacchans voice, “i’ll….i’ll keep auntie in check okay?” he says once more

She closes her eyes, “goodbye….everyone”

( a home for a foreigner)

“Wake up, izumi midoriya” 

Izumi opens her eyes to see a person standing in front of her, “what are you?” izumi tilts her head at the sight of the man in front of her, he was wrapped in golden light, his face was hard to see, but she felt calm “i am your angel, izumi, i am here to guide you” the man lifts his hand as his palms shines brightly “come, we have much to talk about” izumi slowly takes his hands as he leads her somewhere.

They were walking inside of a void of sorts, “this is a limbo, where your soul gets its judgement, but you’re a pure hearted soul, you have a choice” the man stops at a gate of some sorts, she couldn’t tell what sort of material it was made from, but it was shining brilliantly.

“Do you want to be reincarnated? Or to travel into another world?” the angel said, and izumi hummed to herself. “If I'm going to be traveling to another world, will….will one for all be with me?” izumi says as she places her hand on her chest, “yes, one for all attaches itself to your soul, its a part of you, and the world you are reincarnating to, its filled with magic, but..you’ll be a kid again”  the man smiles at her, izumi sighs softly, “okay, i’ll go to this world then, i’ll help it just as i helped my world” izumi said and the man nods before he shoves her gently into the gate

“Keep going midoriya izumi, i’ll be rooting for you” the man watches as she was shot into the sky by the gate, and watched as her soul was transported into the world he sent her too

Chapter Text

Igneel wakes up with a big yawn as he exits his cave, this was a calm morning for him, no noises, no explosions,no other dragons around here, which was a plus, he loved the area, he walked towards a river and slowly drank from it to queel his thirst this morning.

He stopped drinking the river and wiped his mouth with his claw, his ears perked up to a noise nearby, the sound of crying caught his attention that was on his right so he investigated it, once he pushed a brush out of his way, there, in the middle of a clearing was a child, who would leave such a vulnerable child here ?

Questions for later he suppose, he marched his way towards the child, the child seemed to know he was there and looked up. It stopped crying for a second, the child had big green eyes and hair that flowed down their shoulders.

“Child, where are your parents?” he asked her calmly not trying to scare the child

The child sniffed “i don’t know, i don’t remember being here” they said, ‘ did their parents abandon them?’ he thought

“Well, what do you remember?” he asks, the child seems to think for a moment before answering by shaking their head, he sighs as he looks over the child again, he REALLY,  didn’t want to leave her here all on their own

“Looks like I'm taking care of you for now, call me Igneel, what is your name ?” Igneel says, the child brightens up “im izumi!, thank you for taking me in igneel” izumi says 

“Come izumi, i’ll show you where you’ll live for now” Igneel gestures izumi to follow him and she did, both walking towards his cave 

“I’ll show you how to hunt your own food, as well as cooking it” he says, as izumi sat down on his tail “but for now, rest, we have a lot to do tomorrow” he said 

He lays down as he looks down to see izumi was already asleep next to his snout, he didn’t mind this so he her alone and fell asleep himself

Deep down, he really was a softy

“Alright izumi, gather your senses” Igneel says, he was going to teach her how to catch fish the proper way with using her senses to feel the water brushing against her feet “close your eyes and breath while also feeling the water around you” Igneel said 

Izumi nodded as she closes her eyes, she breathed in the fresh air that filled her lungs, and the water that was flowing around her legs, the movement in the water feels calm, when she open her eyes 

She saw a pond of pure energy that was around her, a bright white star appeared in the distance along with 8 other stars circling around it forming into figures that their image started to blur, the 8th figure reached out to her as she reached out too, soon as their fingers touched 

she was blown back as she opened her eyes, izumi noticed she was looking at the blue sky, she pulled herself out of the water and saw the proud look on Igneel face 

“You have powerful magic izumi, i can feel it now within your body, but let's practice that once you learned how to catch fish” Igneel said 

Izumi nodded and they got back to what they were doing, the figures weren’t there when she closed her eyes again but the good news? That she caught a big fish for them to eat tonight!

Izumi heaved in a big fish net as sweat poured down her face, she reeled in a huge amount of fish for Igneel, turns out she was really smart, when she built this for them to catch fish, so now they use it when they train together, it catches fish over time. 

Izumi wrapped the end of the fishing net into a double knot and put it around her shoulder as she let her magic flow around her body. She walks towards the cave with the fish net dragging behind her. 

When izumi got to the cave, she saw a five year old pink haired boy jumping up and down annoying Igneel, so she walked over there, she hears Igneel speaking to the boy “boy, i can’t take care of you, i'm already taking care of a child” Igneel says, izumi hears the boy whining

 “aw why?! Can’t you just make room for me too?!” the boy says 

Igneel says “when she gets here we’ll ask her” when he looks up, he sees izumi walking towards him, the boy turned around also noticing her too, Igneel looks behind her to see the big fish net “ah, you caught some fish, good job izumi” Igneel says 

Izumi blushed “um, thanks Igneel, but if you don’t mind me asking, who’s this?” izumi tilted her head, the boy flashes a smile at her as he pointed at himself “im natsu! I wanted Igneel to adopt me! Because having a fire breathing dragon as a dad is so cool!” natsu said with stars in his eyes 

She giggled a bit “well, if you don’t mind having a sister then I don’t mind igneel adopting you” izumi says, Natsu beamed at her, while igneel looked the other way cause the two bright smiles flashed at him 

“Alright, I can take care of the both of you problem children” igneel said, natsu hearing this cheered and hugged his sister

“I promise Izumi that I’ll never let anyone make you cry” natsu said, she  smiles as she  said “and I’ll promise to always be there for you” before petting Natsu’s pink hair 

Chapter Text

Izumi breathed in the fresh air in the night sky as she looked upon the stars, she was 11 now, igneel just left them around a few years ago, Natsu took it pretty hard, but Izumi tried her best to calm him down. 

He calmed down of course but it still affected him deep down, Izumi and him found fairy tail, a guild full of magicians and wizards, the guild master Markarov, he was a nice man who took them in, they’ve been there for about a year now. 

She wondered how her birth world was doing, did anyone miss her ? Was her parents looking for her? All the questions seemed to fade away when she saw a red haired girl collapsing on the ground on the beach. 

She ran towards her, before hearing the girl screaming/crying out her lungs, Izumi stopped her sprinting and looked at the crying girl that was looking at her, Izumi kneeled down and held out her hand. 

“Are you hurt?” She asked, the girl shakily took her hand as she latched onto her like she was her life line, the girl cried onto her shoulders as Izumi just hugged her and just let her cry. 

After a full 2 hours of this, the girl let go of Izumi as she rubbed her right eye which was red from crying too much, “I’m Izumi, what’s your name?” Izumi said, “Erza scarlet” Erza said 

“That’s a beautiful name Erza, are you lost?” Izumi said, Erza blushed a little since Izumi called her name beautiful, “y-yes….” Erza said 

Izumi sat down in the sand “well, where did you come from before ?” She said, Erza let out a shuddering breath as she was remembering the horrible place she just escaped from 

“I don’t want to talk about it” Erza said, Izumi nodded “sure, but do you have a place to stay?” She said to Erza, and the red haired girl shook her head, Izumi frowned at this but immediately smiled 

“Maybe you could stay at fairy tail with me and my brother! I’m sure Makarov won’t mind!” She said, Izumi stood up instantly and held out her hand, “a-are you sure?” Erza said she didn’t want to be held captive again not after what she’s been through. 

“Yeah! I promise that he’s really nice!” Izumi said, Erza hesitating to hold izumi’s hand, but she’s so nice and kind, so she took izumi’s hand as the green girl helped her up off the ground 

Izumi dusted the sand from her skirt and held Erza’s hand as she took her to the guild, running there of course, Erza couldn’t keep up but smiled 

Chapter Text

Makarov sighs heavily as he rubs his mustache with his hand “I see” he says he looks at the couple in question “so your magic just suddenly activated in the middle of the night?” Markarov said, Izumi nodded “it did, I have no clue on how it possibly acted up during the night” she says

Natsu appeared behind her, “Natsu!” She shouts out surprisingly, she hits him on the head with her hand “ow! Sorry..” Natsu grunts out an apology, “your magic is haunted ?” He says, Izumi turns letting a sigh escape her lips “I’m not honestly sure, some guy appeared in my dreams saying I’ve reached the singularity, or some shit like that” she says, Natsu grins and Izumi realizes what she said “ooooohhh, someone said a curse word! Swear jar!!” Natsu said

“Fuck!” Izumi swears again, and Natsu grins at her, while Erza looks at her girlfriend “swear jar?” She questioned her, “Natsu says I can’t go five days without swearing, so we made a bet on who can’t swear for the whole week” Izumi grumbles out her reply to her girlfriend as she pulls out 10 silver coins and puts them in a jar. 

Markarov sips a beer that he somehow found, Izumi looks at her uncle and she narrows her eyes at the man, ‘how the living fuck did the get a beer?’ She thought. Markarov had a small smirk forming on his lips “well, what did he look like?” He walks into their room. Papers were torn, the walls were scratched up, books were tattered on the floor, ‘what a mess’ markarov thought to himself.

Izumi opens her mouth to talk, “he said, ‘you’ve done so well, we’re so proud of you, we will always be there for you’ like I said, I’m not too sure, maybe I am haunted” Izumi shivers at the thought, while natsu touches her back, “natsu!” Izumi growls out and he backs off “ain’t no one touches my back except for Erza” Izumi folded her arms together as she breathed out through her nose.

Markarov hums to himself, “I ain’t too sure, but don’t use your magic for a while, till we can sort this out” he says and Izumi gasps, “what about my work?!” Izumi shouts out and Erza places her hand on her shoulder “don’t worry, I’ll do it, ‘sides, you need a break” Erza smiles at her girlfriend while she just groans

“If I see you doing work, you’ll be grounded young lady! You can’t go around helping mirajane either! Use this time to relax”. Markarov walks off as Izumi slaps herself, “you’ll be fine Izumi, just relax! I’ll take care of you later~” Erza whispers into her ear as her face turns into a shade of red, “E-Erza!!” Izumi shrieks out as she places her hands on her own face

Chapter Text

 Izumi finds herself wandering around town, she spotted some stores that sell cake, since she was off today, till they figure out what’s wrong with her magic, she figures that Erza might want a strawberry cake, since it was one of her favorite flavors. 

By the time she took out 5 copper coins out of her purse, she spotted some smoke curling into the sky, ‘seriously?’ She thought as she grabbed the cake that was in the box that the lady gave her. 

She knows she shouldn’t use her magic, but sometimes, you gotta break the rules, she turns on her magic, like how she breathes, it flares around her, she then started to run over towards the smoke that was rising high into the sky

She finds the origin of the smoke, and it was Levi and her friends stuck in the tree barks, metal bars strapped around their feet and legs, they had bruise marks around their body. 

Izumi’s body shook in anger as she gritted her teeth as she looked at the unconscious forms of her friend’s bodies. ‘Who….who could do this?!’ Before she could spiral down further, she clams herself, before she grabs her friends body, using her magic to get them out of the strapped bars they were held in

Whoever did this to her friends, will never be able to walk again

“Master! You have to let me make them pay!” Izumi pleaded to Makarov, they were in the infirmary where levy and her friends laid on the beds. Markarov grits his teeth, “No! Absolutely not!” He shouts at Izumi who had to recoil back at how loud he shouted at her. 

“We will not go to war with them! You hear me?! As soon as we do! The magic council will have our heads!” Makarov yells at Izumi, he then takes a breather, “I’m sorry for yelling, but we can NOT attack them, or else they’ll force us to break up the guild….” Makarov stood there as he avoided looking at Izumi. 

Izumi held her hands together as she looked down “y-yes master..” her voice was tight, “look, I want to hurt them too” Markarov said, finally looking at the green haired woman. “But for now, we can’t..” he breathed out heavily.

The room felt heavy, “for now, let’s do the best we can for them alright?” Markarov says as he pats Izumi’s legs with his hands, “of course master…” her voice sounds like she could break any minute, she was just trying to hold it together.

Natsu finds his sister sitting at the bar, looking intensely at the bar table, everyone seems to be tensed up, him and Lucy have gotten back, “is that to your sister ?” Lucy asked him, natsu swallowed thickly “yeah, it’s never been this heavy In the guild before” a sweat drop fell from his forehead as he looked at his sister with worry in his eyes. 

“What’s up with her?” Gray asks Natsu, “I don’t know man” Natsu replies to his friend, said  friend pushed him forward with a shove. “Well, go on,” Gray said. Natsu shook his head “cowards.” Natsu spoke quietly. 

Natsu walks up to his sister and he places his hand on her shoulder “hey, Izumi, are you….okay?” Natsu leans Izumi back a little, but she pushes herself forward “Izumi–” Natsu felt her hand gripping his fingers, then suddenly he was pushed backwards, he toppled over tables and chairs in the guild. “izumI! What the hell!?” Natsu snapped at her but as he looked her in the eyes, he could tell that something was wrong with her. Her eyes were glowing brightly, he could tell that she was using her magic, incinerated by the lightning that was curling around her.

“I don’t know what to do..” Izumi looks at him, her voice was emotionless, “but i want to fight you, please….Natsu” Her eyes soften as she gazes upon him and Natsu grins as he puts his hands together “fine then, we haven’t fought in a while…lets go at it!!” Natsu shouts out, and izumi lips form into a small smile. 

Instantly Izumi dashes forward, her hands curled into a tight fist as she rocked her hands back, and Natsu easily caught them. Izumi then throws Natsu outside of the Guild, breaking apart of the wall in the process, Natsu stops himself by planting his feet into the ground, he stretches his hands out as fire envelops them “dragon iron fists!” he dashes forward as he sees izumi looking at him. Then she instantly leans backward to dodge his punch. 

“How the…” Natsu says as he was surprised izumi dodged that quickly, izumi crocked back her arms as she leans forward, her body twisting forward, Natsu widened his eyes as he moved his arms in front of his body, “Texas SMASH!!!” izumi screams out as she punches Natsu

Natsu grunts as he was flown backwards harshly, that move of hers hurt like hell, “what kind of move was that?!’ Natsu thought as he backflipped backwards before inhaling, the inside of his mouth warmed rapidly ‘dragon’s roar!!!’ natsu breathes out fire from his mouth and izumi jumps up high in the sky. 

He saw izumi flew downwards towards him, but someone appeared in his vision, he was wearing blue clothing and clouded feathers on his shoulders before he catches izumi’s punch with his hand, “the old man sent me to stop the two of ya’ll from fighting” Laxous grunts out as he held izumi’s hand with surprising strength.

Izumi lets out a frustrated sigh as she lands on the ground gracefully, “aw man! Why did you have to go and ruin our fight!!” Natsu whines out, before Laxous looks at him “because the old man didn’t want to see a whole city be gone from the god damn map, he knows Izumi’s strength, so do i” he looks at the green haired woman, who huffed at him as she looks the other way. 

“I was enjoying it…” izumi says quietly, and Laxous laughs “maybe we should fight sometimes! I can be a good opponent for ya!” Laxous pats izumi on the shoulder, and Natsu grumples, ‘man, why’d he have to stop us?’ Natsu thought, before he felt a chill running down his spine, izumi seemed to feel it too as the both of them looked at Erza, she had a forced smile on her face “care to explain why you two fought out of nowhere?” Erza said she leaned her head back as the gaping hole of the guild was seen. 

“Yeah no, I'm out! Cya! “ laxous salutes them both as he gets out of there quickly as he came 

Izumi was looking at her girlfrined “l-look Erza, don’t punish Natsu, I’m the one who started it!” izumi said as she stepped forward towards Erza, however the red head places her hands on izumi shoulders, “Izumi…get ready for bed” she smiles at her girlfriend and izumi widens her eyes “yes ma’m” her slightly shook as she fears for her live as she made her way towards the guild

Natsu saw this as he tries to sneekly get away from the situation, “natsu~” he stops instantly as he slowly turns around to see Erza right in his face, “you’re going to clean up the hole you broke, with every penny you made this month” Erza said, and Natu’s face twisted in horror “no! No!!!” he screams out 

Chapter Text

It was the next day when Natsu saw Izumi limping, it wasn’t really noticeable, but you could tell that she was favoring her right leg. Natsu decided to ask that question “so, uh, how was your night?” He asks her and Izumi looks at him and she furiously blushed, “um….good…” she sheepishly told him  

“Erza wasn’t rough ?” Natsu tilted his head, and Izumi coughs into her fist “how’s Lucy doing?” Izumi tried to change the subject. Natsu hums to himself “she’s doing good, however, she left early this morning” he scratches his cheek “I’m not really sure, she’s been acting kinda weird lately” he continues

Izumi looks around and she saw gray, he was his usual self, Natsu greets his friend, “Hey buddy! How is it going?” Natsu greets Gray, however Gray gives him a cold look, and walks off, Natsu scoffs, “try saying hey back…” Natsu grumbles to himself as izumi looks at the paper gray was looking at. 

It was a posted mission of the forbidden island Galuna Island, she reads the posted mission, then she looks at Gray, who looked at her in response, he then walks off, ‘why was he….’ izumi thought for a second, only S-Class wizards were allowed to accept S-Class missions, Gray himself was B-class, Natsu was B-Class and Lucy, a newly recruited member of their guild, was B-Class, thanks to her celestial magic. 

Izumi narrows her eyes at the mission poster, before her eyes landed on Natsu, “are you guys going to Galuna Island?” she asks them and Natsu looks at her like she was crazy, “are you crazy? Why would we go in take a S-Class mission?!” Natsu whispered to her, “I was just asking, you know you can count on me, right?” Izumi smiles at her brother. 

“Yeah, I can….However….” Natsu starts off, “I don’t want to rely on you for everything…I know i can ask for permission if i ask Erza” Natsu said, and Izumi looks at him, “why do you even want to go to that island anyway?” Izumi said at first, “its dangerous” Natsu nods, “i want to do it.” he gave her a big grin that was forming on his face “side’s, the people on the Island is asking for help” Natsu said 

Suddenly, a really distant memory came into her mind. It was foggy, she could only hear the voice of the person that was speaking inside her mind. 

‘When I first saw you getting stabbed by shigiraki’s quirk, my body moved before I could think, that was you then, wasn’t it?’ 

Izumi clutches her head for a split second, “Whoa, Izumi?” Natsu reaches his hand out to his sister, “im fine, just, remembered something weird..” she mumbles to herself before talks “Look, Natsu, I’m joining your quest, either you like it or not, you’re my brother” izumi smiles as she rises her hand, and clutched it into a fist, “siblings stick together” Izumi said, and Natsu grins like a mad man, he fist pumps her back, “lets head out tomorrow then, tell gramps that we’re taking that quest” Natsu said as he walks off and opens the door to the guild

Izumi smiles to herself before heading towards Markrov’s room, which was upstairs. 

 “Izumi?” izumi lets out a eep before she turns around to see her girlfriend, “Erza, I didn’t expect to see you up here” Izumi nervously said. Erza looks at the mission quest in Izumi’s hand, “are you….going to a quest? Even though the master said you can’t use your magic?” Erza voices her thoughts to her, and Izumi looks at the ground “those people on the Island..they need help” izumi said.

“Who am I to refuse that help?” izumi clenches her fists, and Erza hugs her girlfriend tightly, “just promise me you’ll be safe, i knew Natsu and his group were going to go anyways with permission or without permission” Erza said and Izumi widened her eyes “Natsu was going to go regardless ?” she breathes out.

“That idiot" Izumi quietly said, “Now im going to pack up your stuff, don’t use too much of your magic unless its absolutely necessary okay?” Erza said, and izumi nods, “of course, I know my limits Erza” Izumi lets go of Erza and she went to Makarov’s room.

Chapter Text

It took another hour or so, but Markarov allowed her to join the quest, when Izumi found her brother she promptly smacked him on the head, “you fucking idoit!” izumi swears, she smacked him again, “don’t go off on your own! Especially if it’s a S-Class quest!” Izumi shouted at him, “fuck! Im sorry! Just don’t hit me again!!” Natsu recoiled when Izumi hit him the second time, Izumi turned to Gray who was acting cold towards them, she smacked him just as hard as she smacked Natsu “Ow! What the hell?! What’s your problem?!” Gray yelled out.

“What’s your problem?! You’ve been acting cold towards everyone this morning!” Izumi snapped at him, and Gray growled at her, “it's none of your damn business!" Gray shouted at her and Natsu grabbed Gray by the shirt “its our business either you like it or not! If a guildmember was hurting its better to face it together then to face it alone!!” Natsu shouted in his face.

Gray recoiled physically, his face morphed into sadness, “you wouldn’t get it anyway” Gray muttered, and izumi looks at him “try me” she says, and Gray sighs heavily, he puts his hand on his face “its my masters birthday today, she died protecting me from a monster, she did everything she could to protect me and another student” Gray said

Izumi gazes down at the floor, then a faint voice could be heard in her head 'meddling when you don’t need to, is the essence of being a hero’ izumi breathes out shakily, she places her hands on Gray’s shoulders, “we’re going to Galuna Island, the people there need help, you coming or what?” she says to Gray

The black haired teen smirks at her “you don’t need to tell me to come, i was going to go there anyways when i saw Natsu looking at the quest board” Gray said, “hey!” Natus protested next to him, while Gray shoves his hand onto Natsu’s face “lets go already, we kept them waiting long enough” Gray said

Izumi smiles softly at him “where’s lucy?” she looks at her brother for answers “she wanted to get a boat for us to get to the island” Natsu said and she looks at him as he starts to sweat some more “lets find her” izumi grumples out “can’t believe you two would go to a Island that dangerous by yourself” she said to herself 

It took a while for them to find Lucy, but they found her by the docs, trying to get someone to take them to the Island, “I ain’t taking no one to that cursed Island, It’s for ya’ll’s safety” the man siad, and izumi steps up “im a member of fairy tail, I’m a S-Class wizard, I’m joining them on this quest” izumi searched for her guild card, and she handed it to the man, he looks over it. “Hm, alright, come aboard my friends, its going to be a quiet ride” the man said
