Chapter Text
Ranboo stood at the top of the stairs. They took a breath, or well tried to at least. The anxiety bubbling inside of him stopped them from really getting any air. He took a couple steps down the stairs. When he didn't fall they went the rest of the way. His mom and dad were already sitting at the dinner table. "Son, hurry up," their dad's voice echoed in his ears. 'Son,' they felt sick. It was the type of sick where they were about to vomit, but couldn't get it out at the same time. He closed his eyes and swallowed.
Ranboo finally got to the bottom of the stairs. They slowly made their way to the dining room and sat across from his mother. "Mom, Dad?" Ranboo started, "I have something I need to tell you." "Yes?" Their mother's sweet voice filled the room. "I- um, I'm..." he paused and they snapped their jaw shut. "Stop mumbling and spit it out," his father huffed. Ranboo attempted to take a breath, but with no success. "I'm... nonbinary, I use he/they pronouns, and I'm also gay," they said as quickly as possible. The silence that followed was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Ranboo fidget nervously and cleared his throat. "Get out," his father said, his voice clear and direct. "Wha-" Ranboo started. "Your father's right," their mother interrupts. "What? I-I'm still your child!" he tried to reason. "I would rather have a dead son than a fucking child!" Their father scolded. "We'll give you ten minutes to back your things and leave," his mother said calmly as though she were commenting on the weather.
Ranboo froze. He needed to move, but his body wouldn't let him. Once the shock wore off Ranboo ran up to his bedroom, a trail of tears following behind him. He threw clothes and knickknacks into his backpack. He grabbed his childhood stuffy, an octopus with purple spots. They gathered some pictures and important memorabilia. Ranboo flew back down the stairs, not even pausing to look at his parents. They ran out the door and around the corner, sitting down in a dark alley. They could not breathe, they were suffocating on land. 'How is that even possible?!,' he thought. 'Just do the exercises Tubbo taught you. You'll be fine.' They tried as hard as they could to keep it together and breathe, but he couldn't. That was until someone crouched down in front of them.
"Ranboo?" The person said. Ranboo looked up with tears in his eyes. The person cupped his face, they put their forehead against his. "Hey, I need you to breathe, Honey, okay? Can you do that for me?" Ranboo nodded as best as he could. "Good job, just breathe," the person took an exaggerated breath and Ranboo did the same. After a few minutes Ranboo calmed down. The person, who he had realized was Tubbo, pulled him close and hugged him tight. "T'bbo," Ranboo mumbled sleepily. "Yeah?" Tubbo whispered back. "Why are you 'ere?" they slowly blinked and looked up at him. "You text me, remember?" "I did?" Ranboo grabbed his phone and went to messages. The last text he had sent Tubbo read, 'prents kiked me out, whete shiuld i go?' "That is not very pretty," Ranboo chuckled. "I would assume you were about to have a panic attack, so it makes sense," Tubbo laughed too.
They just sat there for a moment before Tubbo stood up and helped Ranboo to his feet. "Where are we going?" Ranboo asked as they exited the alley. "To my house," Tubbo responded. He grabbed their hand and led them along. The pair soon approached a small house with a yellow mailbox, blue door, and beautiful flowers. Tubbo opened the gate and dragged Ranboo to the front door. He took out a key. Tubbo opened the door, he held it open for them. "Tubbo, darling is that you?" A sweet voice like honey came from the kitchen. "Yeah, Mum! I have Ranboo with me!" Tubbo's mum poked her head around the corner to the entry way. "Hello, Ranboo. What are you doing here?" Ranboo froze and looked away. Tubbo walked up to his mum and whispered something in her ear. She flashed Ranboo a look of pity, "You can stay here as long as you want, dear." Ranboo nodded, and Tubbo dragged him deeper in the house.
They walked into Tubbo's room. Tubbo flopped down on his bed, but Ranboo shifted uncomfortably in the doorway. "You can sit down," Tubbo chuckled. "Oh, yeah, right, sorry," Ranboo said quickly before sitting down on a beanbag chair in the corner. "So... Do you want to talk about it?" Ranboo nodded, "My dad told me 'he would rather have a dead son than a fucking child.'" "What the actual fuck?!" Tubbo's jaw dropped, he sat up so quickly Ranboo thought he might get whiplash. "Who says that to their fucking kid?! I don't care if you want to go back there, I'm not going to let you if that's the way they talk to you." Ranboo smiled sadly, "I thought I could trust them, they're my parents for christ's sake. If I can't trust them, who can I trust?" "You could trust me?" Tubbo put a hand on Ranboo's cheek. For the first time Ranboo saw Tubbo, really saw him. His eyes were brown and gold like caramel chocolate. His fluffy hair, and his freckles made him look like an angel. "Y-Yeah, I could," Ranboo agreed. "Do you trust me?" Tubbo asked and tilted his head to the side like a puppy. Ranboo nodded. They closed their eyes as Tubbo leaned in. He felt fireworks go off and their lips collided.
Tubbo pulled back first. "I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have done that! You probably hate me now!" Tubbo rambled. This time Ranboo grabbed Tubbo's face, "Tubbo, shut up and kiss me." Tubbo nodded dumbly and leaned back in. Ranboo was finally safe. They were finally at peace. They were finally home. Tubbo was their home. This was their home and the never wanted to leave it again.

Chapter Text
Tubbo wished he could forget about what Philza told him. The sentences repeated over and over in his mind, "I'm surprised you don't have a partner yet. Most people your age would at least have a crush." That's what led Tubbo to where he was. He was cursing out Phil and kicking rocks in the forest. He would never get 'twitterpated' over someone. That's ridiculous. How could Phil possibly suggest that?! Tubbo's little tuff of a deer tail whipped behind him aggressively. Tommy even had the audacity to say he was jealous of people who did have partners. Tommy was supposed to be on his side! Tubbo continued walking and abusing the ground before he was roughly yanked back by the antlers. Tubbo squealed, he looked up to see his antlers tangled in a tree. Shit!
Ranboo flinched as he heard a squeal coming from the forest next to them. It didn't sound like an animal, more like a person. So obviously he had to investigate. He walked hesitantly into the woods. He saw someone's head snap towards him when a stick broke under his foot. "Hi?" He muttered under his breath. "Hello," The small guy said back softly. "Who are you?" Ranboo asked as he stepped closer. "I'm Tubbo. You're Ranboo, right?" The guy, Tubbo, responded. Ranboo nodded, "Yeah, why are you in the woods, Tubbo?" "I was blowing of some steam and got stuck in this stupid tree. Can you help me get out?" Tubbo smiled awkwardly. Ranboo hummed an agreement and sorted through the leaves and antlers, "On the count of three, pull. One. Two. Three." Tubbo pulled as hard as he could and fell forward onto Ranboo.
Ranboo groaned as his back collided with the ground. Tubbo fell too, but he landed on top of Ranboo. Okay, maybe he would get twitterpated. Ranboo was absolutely beautiful. His hair looked so soft. His green and red eyes shined brightly in the evening sun. He looked like a masterpiece under Tubbo. What the hell? That was definitely a new thought for Tubbo. But it wasn't exactly wrong, Tubbo desperately wanted to kiss Ranboo. Ranboo cleared his throat and Tubbo was snapped back to reality. "S-Sorry," Tubbo stuttered as he stood up as quickly as possible. Ranboo stood up as well and brushed himself off.
"It's fine really. Let's start over," Ranboo put out his hand of Tubbo to shake, "I'm Ranboo." Did he have to smile like that? He looked like an angel. Tubbo was most definitely blushing like a school boy. Tubbo shook their hand, "I'm Tubbo." 'And you're fucking adorable,' Tubbo thought. Ranboo giggled and blushed, "Thanks." 'Holy shit I said that out loud.' Ranboo laughed again, "Yeah, you did." "I'm going to just stop thinking now," Tubbo looked away, clearly embarrassed, "W-Would you like to go out with me sometime Ranboo. You seem really fun and you're impossibly gorgeous. I'd understand if you didn't want to though." Ranboo forced Tubbo to turn his head back and kissed him on the cheek, "I would love to."
Tubbo really needed to apologize to Phil and Tommy now.

Chapter Text
Tubbo knew something was up with Ranboo today. He assumed it was more of the weird enderman sleepwalking stuff. What had Ranboo called it? Enderwalking? Something like that, but whatever it was, it was odd. For example, when Tubbo called Ranboo for breakfast that morning Ranboo had said that he 'needed to finish their nest.' Tubbo thought it was weird, but didn't question Ranboo on it. Ranboo was weird after all. However, that was hours ago, and Tubbo hasn't seen Ranboo since.
Tubbo was just about to walk out the door when he yelled up to Ranboo, "I'm heading to Tommy's, I'll be back in a bit!" But when he turned around to go outside, Ranboo was stood in front of him. "Oh! Um, hi? Weren't you just upstairs?" Ranboo didn't answer him, instead he wrapped his arms around Tubbo and nuzzled his face into Tubbo's shoulder. "Whatcha you doing, Ran? You seem kinda out of it," To say Tubbo was confused would be the understatement of the century. He had no idea what was going on, but as Ranboo muttered something in Ender it all started to click.
"What'd you say, hun?" Tubbo wrapped his arms around Ranboo's waist and hummed contently. "You're mine," Ranboo growled. "Am I?" He mused. "Yes, mine. Need you in the nest," Ranboo seemed as though he was struggling with basic English. He nudged Tubbo toward the stairs, "Okay, okay, dear. I'm going, I'm going. Are you feeling a little clingy?" Ranboo purred as Tubbo stepped into the bedroom and crawled in the nest on the bed. They carefully made their way into the nest behind him.
Tubbo can't help but smile to himself as Ranboo laid his head on his chest and threw their leg over his hips. "Love you, so so much. You're perfect, so perfect, never gonna let go of you again," he mumbled, lips starting to explore Tubbo's neck, collarbone, and jawline. "You aren't? I'm okay with that, sweetheart," he chuckled, but cut himself off as he sucked in a breath as Ranboo's teeth scrape against his neck, nibbling on the skin carefully, trying to find the perfect place to mark him. Tubbo kisses their forehead and moves his head a little to make more room. Ranboo purred happily and sank his teeth into the flesh. When he eventually pulled away, he licked away the blood that dripped out.
"Mine, forever," Ranboo mumbled sleepily, yawning quietly. Tubbo gently massaged and scratched at his scalp. He knew Ranboo wasn't even really awake, but he also knew that Ranboo has been terrified to fall asleep recently, not wanting to scare anyone. "Go to sleep, darling, you've done such a good job taking care of me," Tubbo smiled. Ranboo nodded and smiled in a sleepy, dopey way. When Tubbo was sure they were asleep he whispered to Ranboo, "Yours, forever."
