Hello!!! Im Finn or Vyxx either one is good, and i'm making this oneshot series w/ my friend Caz and they go by Cresent aswell!! :3 so every writing style might be changed due to two diff authors :D!!

Chapter Text

Etoiles already didn’t feel good that day, although he didn’t want to burden anybody, so he didn’t tell anybody.. Although what made it worse was when they had to fight the Soulfighters, and as he already felt like shit, trying to even attempt to fight the Soulfighter made it even worse.. And he was already weak due to being sick..

“Etoiles you’re weaker than usual.” Bad growled out, in a mocking manner, and that made Philza perk up, and look towards him, concerned, and saw that Etoiles was indeed weak, and he ran over to Etoiles, worried, seeing as it looked like Bad would kill him any moment now.

“Etoiles, are you sick?” Phil as he looked how miserable he is, and that made Bad pause, and Etoiles looked away, ashamed, “I- Um.. no..?” He stuttered, questioning himself at the end, making Phil sigh, and Bad quietly retreating, deciding to target somebody else, most likely Slime or Jaiden, like usual.

Philza sighs in frustration “We need to go home. Now.” he orders him, making Etoiles shudder “B-but I can still fight!!” he protests, making Philza growl, and that made Etoiles shrink in himself, making him give in “A-alright I’ll come..” he sighs, not in much shape to fight him, as he’s sick.

When they got to Team Bolas’s base Philza was relieved when he saw Slime was already at the base, and saw how surprised he was with the state that Etoiles is in “Damn, what happened to you?” he asked Etoiles, teasing him slightly, but mostly concerned.

Philza sighed “Well, he’s sick and didn’t tell anybody , and in the process he almost got killed by Bad” he explained, and Slime growled when heard the mention of Bad’s name, “Could you look over Etoiles, while I go look for some medicine?” He questions Slime.

Slime beams, and nods “Yeah! Sure can do!” He agreed, taking Etoiles hand, and leading him over to the only bed that they have, as it would be more comfortable than the nest on the cold, stone floor.

Once they left Philza sighed, as they are in the middle of a full blown out war , and nobody’s really trusting of each other, and even after this he doubts they would be trusting of each other.

Philza sighed, there is one person who might be able to help him.. And that person is Tubbo . . and as much as hates getting help from the blue team its a need, as a member of their team is sick..

Philz sighs, rubbing his nose in frustration, as he gathers his things for an upcoming battle that might happen by asking…Tubbo…. For help.

Tubbo was working on enchanting his gear, ( yes he knows against the rules but shsush ) when he heard footsteps that he knows aren’t his team's footsteps, and quickly turned around, pulling his sword out and seeing…

Phil…? Once he realized he wasn’t a threat he put it away, since Phil did look worried “What's wrong..?” Tubbo asked, albeit hesitantly worried he’d turn on him and kill him.

Phil sighed, looking stressed, although that was normal for him these days “Well. Etoiles is sick, and you guys are the only ones… with medicine..” he explained, shocking Tubbo, “HE’S SICK??” He yelled, shocked, and Philza nodded.
Tubbo sighed, rubbing his forehead with his fingertips “Okay, fine.” Tubbo agreed hesitantly, “But you have to PROMISE me to not tell Bad” he reasoned, Phil sighed “Alright..” Phil agreed.

It has been a couple hours since Phil has left, and safe to say that Slime was more than worried , although he couldn’t really do anything since he was tasked to look over Phil.

When he was about to ask one of the others if they had seen or heard from Phil recently, that's when he appeared in their way of a doorway, and lit up when he saw he had some medicine.

“Move out the way” He instructed Slime, and nodded, moving to the side to let PHil heal him, Phil had adjusted the wet rag that was on his forehead, and gently moved him into a sitting preposition to force him drink it, making Etoiles cough.

Etoiles opened his eyes groggily and sighed “You really didn’t have to do that for me… I’m really not that important, really” he tried reasoning with them, causing Phil to have a stern look on, and Slime to gently hiit him.

“Of course we do! You’re our teammate!” he agreed with the other, and Etoiles smiled, one again accepting the help “This is an odd turn of events..: Etoiles chuckled, making the other two have questioning looks on their faces “Who wou;d’ve known? Slime helping me instead of me helping him” He chuckled, making Slime giggle, and Phil huff in amusement.

Chapter Text

To say he was one of the weakest members was an understatement, Slime IS the weakest member, you can’t even argue that fact, even before purgatory he was very weak, easily dying to mobs.

That’s the main reason Etoiles would give him old gear for the sake of his sanity, and now.. Well.. by just being near them, you could tell they were each other's Yin and Yang.

Etoiles was looking over to where Slime was, talking to Baghera, making him chuckle, ever since he’s seen slime he’s felt he’s had this special connection with the man, Etoiles could never really talk about it when he has had talked about.. ( specifically to Pomme. )

And now since their time in Purgatory he’s felt the bond has strengthened, although he doesn’t know exactly why , which frustrates him, and jumps when he feels a hand on his shoulder, and looks over to see Phil with a smug look on his face.
“Why are you staring at Charlie so much, mate?” he teased the other man, making him flush, “W-well, uhm..” he stuttered, making Phil snort “Don;t worry, mate, just don’t rush it” he once again, teased Etoiles, making him sputter.

Charlie had suspected that he had accidentally claimed Etoiles, but he wasn’t certain, until he was welcomed into Team Bolas.

Intermission to explain what claiming is — basically when gods ( we love scu ) claim Mortals or Immortals it's basically saying that, that mortal is theirs to protect.

Although he had a feeling it was more than a claim as Etoiles does keep staring at him — not in the galring way, in the lovey dovey way, in the way that the other Molyumpous said that he looked at me.

He sighed as Baghera left him to breed the rabbits, and turned around to where Etoiles and Phil were talking, and when he turned back to him, chuckling as Etoiles noticed him, waving at him.

“Hey Etoiles!” He greeted him, running towards him, and saw a look of concern as Etoiles noticed all the scars on his bodies from the many times of him dying,, and saw his brows furrowed in frustration.

“What?” he questioned in confusion, and Etoiles huffed “I’ll protect you from now on!” he declared, making Slime giggle in surprise “Thanks, Eotiles, but y-you really don’t need to do that!! It’s fine, really!!” He tried to assure the other man, “But you are accident prone, it is my mission as your teammate to protect you1!!” he protested, causing the shorter man to sigh, finally giving in.

It was the Warzone Flag event, and Slime was trying to run away, as he’d been jumped by Bad and to make it worse Tubbo had joined Bad in jumping him, and screeched in pain as Tubbo had hit his arm where the code had spread.

Etoiles turned where he had heard Slime scream, and when he saw Tubbo and Bad, the strongest members of the Soulfire team, attacking Slime, and in panic, he rushed over to where Slime is, and saw Tubbo freeze in shock, as hitting him with the ax that he was using, actually hurt him.

He rushed over to where Slime had fallen, and lifted him up by lifting his arm over his neck, and shuddered as he felt the code against his skin, although it wasn’t.. unpleasant.. it was actually surprisingly refreshing, and Bad scowled at him “How do you even live with the code growing on you..?” Bad asked, disgusted, while Tubbo awkwardly stood to the side.

“E-ehh.. If it means changing myself I'll do ANYTHING for Flippa” he informed them, emphasizing on the word ‘anything’, and hissed in pain as he shifted his arm slightly where the ax was lodged in his arm.

Etoiles sighed, as he started walking away to the base with Slime “Well I have to help heal him, see you guys… later, I guess” he informed the other, quickly but slowly rushing them back to Bolas’s base.

When they got there, Baghera was already there, and had a look of surprise on her face when she saw the state Slime was in, “What happened??” she asked, panicked, and Etoiles sighed, as Slime wasn’t answering, looking to be dissociating “He was hit by Tubbo” he explained, pointing to the ax.

She sighed “We should call dad to help…” she suggested, and Etoiles hesitantly nodded in agreement, while Slime just whined in pain when he shifted him to the rare spare bed they had lying around, and Baghera was shifting from foot to foot awkwardly.
C..could you get Phil while I start to tend to his bandages..?” he requested of her, and she suddenly stood up straight and nodded, quickly grabbing her communicator, most likely to tell Philza about the certain predicament.

Etoiles started by grabbing some disinfectant and putting some around the visible wound that the ax caused on the code, while slowly taking the ax, and sometime during the process Slime had fallen asleep, so he was moaning in pain in his sleep.

At one point he heard running towards the base, making his tense up, but when he looked behind him, it was just Phil, and he looked extremely stressed, and out of breath, “Is Charlie okay??” he asked, concerned.

Etoiles shrugged “For the most part” he told him “Well.. as good as he can be in the state he’s in..” he admitted, chuckling nervously, makingPhil sigh in… disappointment??

He didn’t know how long, but Slime had definitely been asleep for awhile, and he suddenly sat up, out of breath, and in a panicked state, until he saw Etoiles, and calmed down, looking like he was relieved to see the taller man.

“Ah! Slime your awake” Etoiles greeted him, beaming, and Slime tried to slime back, although failing miserably “Ah.. yeah” he agreed.

Etoiles grabbed his ‘injured’ arm to inspect the wound that had clearly been healed, and they both shuddered as the two code-infected arms met in contact, making Slime’s breath hitch.

Slime chuckled nervously “Well we certainly are in the same boat, eh?” He tried lightening the mood, although it slightly worked as Etoiles chuckled and rubbed his arm lightly, making Slime flush a bright green.

“Yeah..” Etoiles agreed, breathlessly, looking deep into the other man’s eyes, basically hypnotized by them, when suddenly somebody burst into the poor excuse of a room “CUT IT OUT LOVE BIRDS!!” Jaiden yelled, interrupting them, making both men flinch.

They turned around to look at the avian, and she had this smug look on her face “Soooo…. Are you guys FINALLY together?” she asked, teasing them slightly, and Slime sputtered, and Etoiles mouth gaped, slightly resembling a fish.

“I mean…” Etoiles looked back over to Slime, and then back to her “Yes..?” he agreed finally, and Foolish ran into the room cheering “FINALLY!!” he yelled, beaming “Soooo… what about Mariana…?” he questions, making Slime huff in irritation, throwing a pillow at his face.

“When he finally decides to show his face I'll explain to him!” he finally decided, putting his hand on his hips, puffing up, and Etoiles smiled at him, basically love sick.

Chapter Text

It started off as a joke it really did— specifically when Slime joked how he just wanted to be a housewife cooking bread, and well he has been cooking bread for the group he’s done more than that…

It also started as a joke when they called Phil Dadza — although they regularly called him that..

It also became more apparent when he started wearing eyeliner — and according to Foolish he used to wear it all the time..

Although Slime being their mom became more apparent Roier jokingly said that he acts like their mother, and at first everyone denied it, although the more they thought about it, the more they agreed with him.

For example; he was in the process of making bread for bolas when Jaiden came up to him “Can I help?” She questions him, curiously, and he beams, nodding “Of course!!” He agrees.

She had struggled at first, although once he showed her how it was done, she caught the hang of it, so he focused back onto what he was doing, when suddenly he heard her hiss, and he quickly turned over to where she was, panicked.

He quickly ran over to her to see she had burned herself, and quickly he turned off the furnace to tend to her burns, “C-Charlie!! There’s no need, really!!” she had tried reassuring him, but he wouldn’t budge.
“It’s not fine, you got hurt!!” he had insisted when she had protested, and she sighed, giving in while smiling fondly watching Slime tend to the burns on her hands.

That's when Phil came down to their base “Hey guys—” he started, but paused when he saw Charlie tending to Jaiden’s burns, and paused what he was doing “What happened?” He asked, panicked “She burnt herself while trying to help me make bread” he explained.

Phil sighed, exhausted “You should be more careful.” Phil advised her, and she chuckled nervously, nodding “I’ll do my best!” she told him, giving him a thumbs up with the uninjured hand.

Phil sighs as he finishes packing up to go get more materials for the team, and sighs, as he double checked everything, and thankfully he had everything he needed.

“I’m going to get materials, I’ll be back!” he announces to the others “Nooooo!!’ Baghera cried, and when Phil started to leave, she started following him.

Phil sighed, amused “Bags, I need to go mining..” he told her, making her pout “Don’t leave meeeee” She whined, clinging onto his scarred arm.

He sighed, amused “I’ll only be gone for a few hours don't worry” he tried reassuring her, although that just made her cling onto his arm tighter.

Phil sighed “I promise i’ll come right back after i go mining” he tried reasoning with her but that just made her start to cry, making Phil sigh.

When Phil didn’t answer her right away, that made her actually cry, making Phil panic, although he caught in that it was a way to guilt trip him into bringing her.

He laughed, amused “Alright, alright you can come..” he gave in, making her cheer “YAY Thanks dad, I’ll go get my stuff!” She told him, beaming, as she quickly went to pack her stuff for mining.

Cellbit had been exhausted almost all day, he had overworked himself and basically dragged himself back home, stumbling a bit when he got home, he saw Phil feeding his horse — Raphel.

“Hey Mate, what's up?” Phil questioned him, and Cellbit just stared at him, blankly, making Phil worry “Cellbit?” He asked again, and he just collapsed, surprisingly Phil, as he rushed over to him so he didn’t fall face first on the ground.

It had been a couple hours since Cellbit had collapsed, and he finally woke up, and groggily noticed that the rest of the bolas team was sitting near where he was, and that's when he noticed his head was in Phil’s lap, although more noticeably he realized he didn’t have his gas mask on.

Phil noticed he was awake, so he put his book away as he helped Cellbit sit up, and looked at him sternly, making Cellbit quickly look away “Have you eaten or drank anything in the past couple days?” He questioned Cellbit, and scolded him.

Cellbit looked at the other, embarrassed “Ah.. no… I kinda, y’know .. forgot…??” He sheepishly admitted, making Phil sigh “Do you need one of us to remind you?” He questioned him, causing him to sit up straight.

“No,no,no!!” He protested “I’ll be fine I-I don’t need anyone to remind me to do ANYTHING ” he insisted, making Ohil raise an eyebrow “Well.. clearly you do.. im sure Charlie would be glad to help you” He reasoned with him.

Slime perked up at his name. “Do you guys need something?” He questioned, walking over to them, making Cellbit groan, and Phil laughed “Yeah, do you think you could remind Cellbit to eat and drink every couple hours? He keeps forgetting to eat and drink for days on end” he explains.

Slime beamed at that and nodded “Of course I can!” He agreed, making Cellbit shrink into himself, embarrassed “I hate you guys” He murmured , making them laugh.

Carre was probably one of the most same members in Bolas — although the laziest out of all of them, although today he decided to do something and fish.

His mind made up, so he crafted a boat to try and PEACEFULLY fish with Berri so he and Berri got on the boat to peacefully fish.

Although of course that didn’t go to plan, as a drowned started hitting their boat and destroyed their boat, he panicked, grabbing Berri, and went to the nearest island, which unfortunately was the green island.

Once they got onto land he coughed out the water, as Berri layed down, and Carre searched for his communicator in his pockets, and sighed in relief when he found it and saw the team in a call.

He hurriedly joined the call “H-hey can somebody come get me? I'm stranded on the green island” he hurriedly explained “Why are you on the green island?” Phil asked, worried.

“Ah.. "I was going fishing with Berri and a drowned destroyed our boat,” he explained sheepishly “Stay there, I'll come and get you,” Slime told him sternly.

Carre nodded but then realized they couldn’t see him “Okay!!” He agreed, and waited in the call as he saw Slime…. Many, many, MANY times..

“CARREE!!” He heard somebody yell, and flinched thinking it was somebody from the green team, so he quickly took his sword out and turned around, and deflated, relieved to see Slime “Ah… Slime, hey!!” He greeted, cautiously.

Slime beamed at him “C’mon!” He urged him, leading him and Berri to the boat, and they left in time since the Green members just found them as well.

He had been looking at his hands anxiously as he wanted to ask something he wasn’t sure he wanted the answer > to… but he took in a deep breath and found the confidence to ask the question.

“Why did you come find me?” He questioned “I mean the rest of the team doesn’t really care for me do they..?” He questioned, and that made Slime stop the boat in shock, but then started moving it again.

Slime shook his head “No, we do care for you!!” He reassured him “Really?” Carre asked, insecure, and once they got back onto land, Slime pulled him into a hug, making Carre burst out in tears, making Slime panic.
“What's wrong?” He questions Carre, worried, and he nodded shakily “S-sorry I just haven’t had any skin to skin contact the whole time i’ve been here..” he admitted, making Charlie squeak out in surprise “Why didn’t you tell anybody?” he questions, shaking him by the shoulders, making Carre laugh.

After that encounter it was apparent to the Bolas members that Carre became closer to Slime that day, almost always clinging to Charlie like a leech, and always helping him when he can, and most importantly he becomes very protective of Slime.

Foolish was focused on building the castle for the Egg event, and was so focused on building he flinched when he heard footsteps near, and turned around to see it was… Fit? “Ah.. Hey Fit whatcha need…?” he questioned, nervously, and that's when he heard more people walking over, and he then decided to run.

“Foolish, you can’t run forever!” Fit yelled to him, taunting him as Foolish, and Etoiles were running after him, and quickly he hid away, as they looked for him as they lost track of him.

“Foolish” he hears somebody flinch, and stiffens, but instead just sees Slime, and he waves sheepishly as he points over to the others as he sees Philza running over to him, and Slime runs over to where Phil is joining him in fighting them.

Foolish sighs in relief as he sees the green team starting to run away from them, as Slime starts making garbled, incoherent noises, and Foolish chuckles at that, and they return to where he is.

“Do you have any injuries?” Slime asks, worried, and Foolish nervously scratches his head “Well.. my leg is injured” he tells the other as he points to the deep gash on his leg.
“Are there any other injuries you have??” Phil asks, worried, and Foolish shakes his head, and Phil sighs a breath of relief as Slime grabs some bandages and some water “Thanks mom! Thanks dad” he thanked them, jokingly, and Charlie beamed “Your welcome!” he told him, and went back to tending to his injury, and Phil smiled at him.

Their responses confused him as he looked down at Slime in shock since when did Slime know how to TEND to injuries?? And why didn’t they laugh – like Phil usually does when they call Phil dad.

“Something bothering you?” Phil questions the shark hybrid, oticing hs confused face “I– you–” he status, before clearing his throat “Do you guys not mind being the parents of our team?” he questioned, extremely confused.

Phil shrugs “I don’t mind, I mean you guys have been calling me that for awhile’ Phil explains, and Slime beams at him, as he finishes bandaging him “I don’t mind either! I guess it’s just instincts as I have given you guys rocks – symbolizing you guys are a part of my pack – or family!” He exclaims, shocking the other two “Ah.. so that's what those were” Phil murmurs to himself.

“OHHHH!! SO ME AND PHIL HAVE BEEN A PART OF YOU FAMILY FOR – FOR LIKE FOREVER” Foolish yells, and Slime nods, beaming at him, and squeaks as Foolish brings him into a bone crushing hug, and motions Phil to join, and he chuckles, as he does so.

Baghera, Cellbit, Carre, Jaiden and Foolish were all huddled around a campfire they had in their base.

“Hey guys?” Jaiden asked, sounding hesitant, “Mh?” Cellbit replied “Wh- what's our… relationship with Phil and Slime..?” She questioned.

That left the other except Foolish pondering what they were to them “They’re our parents!” Foolish replied “I asked them earlier and they said they’d be okay with it!” Foolish explained, surprising everyone.

Carre beamed at that, but frowned when he realized something.. “Guys… we haven’t heard from Phil OR Mom in awhile..” he told them

Meanwhile Phil had just woken up, and startled as he was tied up he looked around to ser Slime also tied up across from him, although he looked heavily injured, like usual but it looked worse than it usually does.

“Ah! Philza you're awake!” He heard somebody excitedly say, and he turned his head to face the voice, and the owner of that voice was.. Bad..

When he saw Bad, Phil growled at him “Gwta did you do” he threatened him, causing Bad to laugh menacingly “What do you mean?” He questioned, faking innocence.

“What did you do to Charlie?” he growled trying to break free from the binds, struggling although his attempts were futile, as it did nothing but cut his arms, making Bad laugh, and finally Slime woke up, and flinched when he saw Bad.

“W-what do you want from us?” Slime asked, stuttering in fear, and Bad shrugged “Simple! I want information.” he told them, and Slime growled “You're crazy if you think we’re giving any information away” he told Bad firmly, making him laugh maniacally until they heard explosions, and Bad turned around, panicked.

“Kids!” Slime exclaims, beaming, proud, and relived Bolas came for them, and Phil huffs in amusement, as every except for Jaiden and Carre attacked Bad as they came over to them untying the rope.

Carre worriedly checks over Slime, making him laugh nervously “Theres no need I-i’m fine..” he stutters, making Phil sigh “Charlie.. It looks like you got tortured let us take care of you.” he scolds him.

Slime laughed at that and nodded, and the others came back, and Cellbit rushed up to Slime as Carre was helping him walk to the boats that they brought“What happened, Slime?” he questioned, worried, and he shrugs “I don’t remember..” he tells them honestly.

Once they got home Jaiden asks the most important questions they’ve been wanting to ask for a while “Are you guys our parents now?” She questions them, and Slime giggles and nods “Sure! If you want to!” He agrees, and Phil shrugs “If you want us to be” he says, and they cheer.

Chapter Text

It had been a while since Phil had actually had a real… family , that he actually knows that they care care for him.

Sure, Chayanne, Missa and Tallulah love and care for him, but he isn’t always sure about that, maybe it's due to his paranoia, but he isn't always sure they actually love him.

He wasn’t sure anybody would actually love him if they knew what had happened to him.. if they knew how imperfect he is..

That was until purgatory , where he met his family …

He was cooking some bread for the team when Cellbit and Baghera came running in, Baghera was animatedly saying something and she looked stressed, while Cellbit just looked plain exhausted, although he did recall Slime going with them.

“Where’s Slime?” he questioned, which just made Cellbit whine, and Baghra just shrink in on herself “B-Bad got to them..” Cellbit admitted “And we don’t know where they are!” Baghera cried, which made Philza stiffen.

“Where were they last?” he growled, protectively, which made Baghera squeak “The global island!” she muttered, as tears came to her eyes, and he breathed in, calming himself “I’ll be back.” he promised them, and they nodded.

After what felt like hours he finally reached the global island, and when he got to where the global tasks were he saw Bad waiting there for him, making Phil growl, and Bad chuckled nervously.

“Where. Is. Slime.” He growled out, making Bad shudder in fear “W-well we can bargain if you want” he tried to offer, but Phil just got his sword out, making Bad flinch “Okay ,Okay!” he gave in “J-just follow me..” he sighed.

When they got to the blue base, he was horrified, it unfortunately did remind him of when he was… captured and it was worse when he saw the state that Slime was in, and rushed to their side, looking over how bad their injuries were.

Slime groggily woke up, and flinched, startled by how close Phil was to him “Phil..?” they asked, his speech slurring a bit, and Phil looked up at them, noticing their mask was missing “Are you okay?” Phil asked, worried.

Slime furrowed their eyebrows, thinking about it, and shrugging “Dunno” they admitted, making Phil sigh “C’mon lets get home” he suggested, helping them help, and walk, and growled when he saw Bad blocking the door.

Although somebody came up behind him, and shoved him out of the way to reveal.. Mariana..? “Let them go, Bad, you’ve done enough” he growled, and that made Slime beam at Mariana, and Bad hesitantly let them through, and Phil nodded his head at him in thanks.

It had been a couple days since Slime got back and everyone was showering Slime in love, which shows how much touch-starved they are, as they look like they aren’t used to it, and Etoiles especially was giving them affection.

Although currently they were all in a cuddle pile together, in his nest, and right now Baghera was preening his wings, and earlier Baghera and Jaiden preened each others wings, right now Etoiles and Roier were out doing quests, and Slime was making some bread, but Cellbit dragged them into the nest so they would sleep.

He sighed as he looked around to see the rest of them ( except for him, Jaiden, Etoiles, and Roier ) Baghera looked up from what she's doing, worried as he sounded stressed “What’s wrong?” she questions him, worried.

Phil just sighs, shrugging “I’m scared… that when everyone on the island.. Find out my past they won’t…” he paused talking, thinking on how to word his next sentence “That they won’t think of me as the same, I mean Bad, Foolish, Quackity and Slime know, but..” he explained, shocking Jaiden.

“Quackity knows??” She questioned, and he nodded “Yeah, I mean Quackity knows, not El Quackity” he explained, and she sighed, relieved, making Phil chuckle “Worried he’d use it against me?” he questioned, and she nodded.

He looked over to the others when he heard movement, and just chuckled when all four of them; Slime, Cellbit, Foolish, Carre, and Jaiden were just attached to each other, cuddled to each other, although Foolish was sleeping in a starfish position ver the others.

Baghera sighed “I-if you don’t mind me asking, what happened?” She questioned, hesitantly, and Philza sighed “I guess I can tell you..” he murmured to himself “Well.. before I came here I was… captured to say the least..” he explained, and shakily took a breath in.

“A-and basically I was experiment on..” he told her in a quiet voice, making her gasp in horror, “And I was the test too see if they should use it on other people” he explained, as he shook, closing his eyes, trying not to remember what happened “T-that’s all I can manage to tell you, i’m sorry..” he apologies.

Baghera was quick to shut him down “No need to apologize!” she reassured him, making Phil shakily smile, and that's when Etoiles and Roier came back “Heyyyy Phil!” Etoiles greeted him, and beamed when he saw the others were having a cuddle pile.

“Hey Phil..” Roier sleepily greeted him, and put his tools away to cuddle beside Cellbit, basking in his warmth, and Etoiles forcibly moved Foolish, who was basically crushing Slime, to envelope Slime in his arms.

Phil sighed amused “I guess we should join the cuddle pile as well, shouldn’t we?” Phil asked, making Jaiden giggle and nodded, and went up to cuddle next to Baghera, while Phil just went to hug behind Jaiden.

It had been a rough start to the day, to start off, they were really behind the blue team, and once again, Slime and Jaiden kept getting spawn killed by Bad, so Phil decided to gather some materials to help them out.

He was packing a bag for some material gatherings, and that's when Foolish came into the room, and he titled his head in curiosity “Where are you going?” he questioned, and dPhil smiled at his curiosity, amused “Oh, I’m just going to gather some materials, like going mining,etc.” Phil explained, and Foolish brightened up at that.

“Can I come?” Foolish pleading, giving Phil his best puppy dog eyes, and PHill signed, amused “Sure, sure. Just grab some tools for mining” he explained, and Foolish nodded, ecstatic

After Foolish had gotten some tools for mining, they had headed down into the mines, although Phil always made sure Foolish was nearby so he didn’t get hurt, he didn’t know if he was just protective, or if it was his instincts wanting to protect his family.

Foolish unfortunately noticed this when he noticed he panicked a bit when he got too far away from Phi “What's wrong, Dadza?” he questioned, teasingly, and he sighed “I–It's nothing!! It's just my instincts wanting to protect family – you.” he explained, making a Foolish squeal.

“Aww you do care for us!!” he teased him, making Phil huff in announce “Of course I care for you guys” he told him “Although I care for Charlie and Jaiden the most” he sad under his breath, and Foolish chuckled as he heard it.
“I’M TELLING THEM YOU SAID THAT!” he said, rushing back to their base, making PHil panic and run after him.

Chapter Text

It had been a normal day with team Bolas, Jaiden and Slime were hanging out while they were making some bread, and Jaiden was just rambling to Slime as she gathered some materials for her personal tasks.

That was until they showed up it all went to hell, Slime noticed it first, alerting Jaiden about it, and they quickly tried to run away, although all didn’t go to plan, when Bad found Slime and started to kill them over, and over again, causing him to get flashbacks to day one, and that gave Bad the upper hand, as he could use that to kill them a bunch of times.

Tubbo and Pac also had come with him, and looked for Jaiden, although they were fortunately unsuccessful with finding her, and Jaiden had thankfully got to their base safe and sound, and when Phil saw her he panicked “Jaiden what happened? Charlie won’t answer us” he asked, worried.

Jaiden’s breath hitched, and took in a deep breath, to calm down “B-bad, Tubbo and Pac came after us..” she admitted “A-and Bad’s spawn killing Slime.. And I think he’s having flashbacks..” she admitted, causing Carre to growl.

“I’ll go find him” Carre told them, and Cellbit nodded in agreement “I’ll come with you” He told Carre as he started getting tools to help Slime, and Carre nodded, smiling at Cellbit, Phil sighed in annoyance.

Baghera went over to Jaiden checking if she's okay “Are you alright?” She asked, and Jaiden shook her head, and Baghera laughed “Stupid question, sorry but will you be okay?” she questioned Jaide, and at that Jaiden wetly laughed and shrugged at her question.

Slime’s head had gone fuzzy from all the times Bad had killed him, and at that point he had returned to his slimy form, where they were completely goopy, and whined when they felt somebody’s head on their neck, where their pulse is, and heard them sigh in relief.

He hesitantly opened his eyes, surprised to see Carre, and when he noticed that they were awake, Carre beamed at him “Are you okay?” he questioned, and they groaned, making Carre chuckle “Stupid question, sorry..” he apologized.

“I’m going to pick you up now, okay?” Carre questioned them, and they slowly nodded, although they still squeaked in surprise once he did actually pick them up, although they heard yelling, and looked over to where the noise was, and saw Cellbit chasing Bad, Foolish chasing Pac, and Baghera chasing Tubbo with a chainsaw laughing maniacally.

He smiled at that, and shivered, as he turned to his human form where he wasn’t all slime — the from where everyone hated – where he was all gross — where nobody wanted to touch him once he turned back into the real world — and not his intrusive thoughts he saw that they were all tied up to a tree and that made him chuckle, and Carre brought him over to them.

Baghera and Cellbit had already started eating some of them, and Jaiden had finally came out of their base, surprised but not disgusted at the sight of them eating the others, and she chuckled.

Cellbit looked over to them “Want some?” he asked the, mouth full of Pac’s flesh, and Slime shrugged, nodding, and crawled over to Bad, ripping part of his skin off with his teeth, making Bad scream, and Tubbo looked at them, horrified, and Jaiden chuckled, joining Slime in eating Bad.

Eventually Phil came out of the base, and huffed amused as he heard the scared screams of team Soulfire as his family team ate their flesh “Any room for moore?” He asked, amused as they lit up.

“Yeah!” Foolish chirped, giving him a handful of Tubbo’s flesh, and Phil lifted his mask to eat what he was given, and Tubbo looked at him in disgust and horror “Wilbur would be so disappointed in you” he growled out, making Foolish growl at him, as he took a bite of his neck, making him scream.

Bad growled at them when he heard Tubbo’s scream, and Pac tried to struggle, although that did not work out, as Cellbit and Baghera were eating different parts of him — Baghera was eating his arm while Cellbit was eating chunks of flesh on his hip.

Pac cursed under his breath in Portuguese “Why..?” he asked Cellbit “I… i thought we were over this..” he muttered, distraught, making Cellbit scoff “That was over when you started hunting my teammates – MY FAMILY down..” he yelled, making Pac whine.

Thats when Foolish had the best idea ever, and whispered the plan to Phil — and thats to tie them to one of the pillars at Global, and Phil nodded, smiling “Good idea..” he agreed, and the rest of the Bolas team looked at them confused, and when Phil told them the plan, they agreed, making the other three scared of whats to come.

After they tied the members of Team Soulfire they returned home, and went into Phils nest cuddling to each other — Cellbit clinging to phil, Baghera to Jaiden, Foolish to Carre, and Slime clinging to Cellbit.

Foolish had them all squished against each other, as he was hugging all of them, as he was the tallest — and he had the longest arms, while Phil’s wings covered mostly all of them.

It was a domestic moment, the avians — Baghera, Jaiden and Phil, were all trilling and cooing, while Carre and Cellbit were purring very loudly, while the last hybrid to make some sort of noise — which surprised everyone was Slime, they were chittering, and almost purring.

Everyone stilled in shock when that happened — although the only person who wasn’t shocked was Foolish and that was due to being around him a lot during Las Nevadas, and that would happen a lot when he would cling to anybody — especially Quackity.

Phil huffed in amusement when Cellbit turned around to face Slime in amusement, and beamed at him, when they cuddled more into the cat hybrid, making Cellbit purr even louder, and Carre whined, jealous “Cellbit can we switch places” he whined, and he huffed “No” he hissed at him, making Carre pout.

Baghera laughed at that “Well, I guess Cellbit has a new favorite person — under Roier..” she teased him, and Cellbit pouted — proving that she was, indeed, right.

Chapter Text

It happened. Again. Jaiden had once again got attacked by Bad and that caused her to be spawned killed by him, once again. She groaned in frustration, as she groggily woke up and saw Foolish hovering over her, anxious, and lit up once he saw she was awake.

She noticed she was bandaged, which confused her as nobody in the team really gets bandaged, and never really have the resources to do so “Who bandaged me?” she questioned the taller man.

“Slime did!” he told her “Don’t ask me how he has bandages cuz I have no clue” he admitted, chuckling nervously, which confused her, but shrugged, dismissing it, but both Foolish and Jaiden flinched when they heard the door slam open.

“JAIDEN” Cellbit yelled, worried, and behind him was Baghera, and they both looked stressed, as Baghera ran over to her, holding her face between her hands looking over her face, and Baghera and Cellbit sighed, relieved when she saw the bandages.

“What happened? Why didn’t you fly away??” he asked, worried, and that caused Jaiden to pause “Oh… I can’t erm.. Fly….” she admitted “WHAT.” Baghera exclaimed, looking at her in shock.
Jaiden looked away, rubbing the back of her neck, anxiously, and also chucklung anxiously “Yeah.. erm..” she started “I never actually learned.. I mean I learned how to glide but that's about it..” she explained, making Baghera glare at her “Why didn’t you tell anybody?” she asked, exasperated, and Jaiden just shrugged.

Foolish sighed, frustrated “We should probably tell Phil, so he can teach you!” He suggested, and Cellbit and Baghera nodded in agreement, leaving there to try and argue with them, but failing miserably — although the reason she didn’t want him to know was because she was embarrassed.

It had been a couple hours since Phil had left the base, and when he finally returned, he wa exhausted, and saw Jaiden, and it looked like she was waiting for him “I’ll teach you in the morning” he reassured her, ruffling her hair, making her squeak in shock, and she hesitantly nodded.

After they had gotten enough sleep to have enough energy to last the day Phil had gotten up early and also woke Jaiden up early, so that the other teams don’t just immediately kill them while he’s teaching her how to fly.

“Why did you have to wake me up so earlyyyy” she whined sluggishly following him out of their home base and higher up in the mountains “So we don’t get killed when the other teams find us.” he explained, like it was the most simple thing ever.

She sighed shakily as she saw how high up they were, and Phil put a hand on her shoulder to calm her down, and started explaining the basics of starting to fly, and then basically pushed her off.
She screeched when he pushed her off the cliff and hurriedly spread her wings, and took a breath in as she tried to do what Philza had instructed her, and shakily flew up back to him, and after a few more tries she had finally gotten the catch of it.

After a few more hours they returned home, where the others were waiting for them, nervously, although Slime was still sleeping. “Is Slime in their hibernation season?” he chuckled, teasing, and Foolish shrugged “Yeah, pretty sure, although, would ask Quackity to be sure, but he’s y'know not here ” he agreed, making Phil groan.

“They’re the luckiest out of all of us right now” Baghera groaned, flopping onto Slime’s back, making Cellbit chuckle, and Foolish motioned Jaiden over “Cmon! I’m gonna preen your wings — iif your comfortable with that, of course” he told her, and she nodded, going over to walking to where he is, and sitting in front of them.

After a couple minutes, Foolish had finished half of her right wing, as they're pretty small compared to Philza’s and she’s almost fallen asleep a couple of times, making the others chuckle.

Jaiden’s eyes were drooping as she was chirping and cooing,and she bolted up as she realized what she was doing. Look at the other two, confused, and Phil chuckled at her reaction “That's normal, don’t worry!” He tried reassuring her, although it didn’t really work.

“That’s normal ???” He asked – concerned, making Baghera giggle “If you're asking about the noises, it is normal!” She reassured her, although it only relieved her worries a tiny bit.

Jaiden pouted as she fell face first into the nest that they were huddled in, and that's when Etoiles and Roier come back to the base “What’s going on?” Roier asked confused “I was preening Jaidens wings!” Foolish told them – proudly, and Etoiles beamed at that.

Roier looked over to where Charlie is, and how he looks mostly slime “Whats wrong with Slime?” he asked, confused “HIbernation..” Foolish explained “You’d have to ask Quackity or Bad!! Well Quackity when he comes back..” he explains to Roier.

“Nest time!” Baghera declared as Baghera moved from where she was next to Charlie, next to Jaiden cuddling up to her, Phil chuckled as they all started to pile in the nest, and held in his laughter as Carre was protective over Slime.

Phil finally got into the nest, near Jaiden, “Jaiden you can always come to us when you need help with your wings, even Charlie, he’s surprisingly good at it” she reassured her, and she nodded snowly as her head was buried in Baghera’s shoulder, and he smiled, fondly.

Chapter Text

Jaiden has been spacing out as of late, especially after purgatory, which has been worrying for the others, especially Charlie who noticed it first, and pointed it out first.

Although what she did notice is that she has been more shaky than she did before they returned to the island and also before they went to purgatory, although she also noticed she had bruises all over her body — that she had Etoiles has been helping her heal, and her nose regularly bleeding.

“Are you okay, Jaiden?” Charlie asks, and she shakes her head, as if to clear her head, and she smiles softly and nodded “Yeah..” she tries to reassure him, although it didn’t seem like it didn’t work, as they looked at her with pity — which she has started to hate.

”What's going on?” Foolish asked — his words slurring together, and Jaiden looked over to him smiling, “I’m fine!” She tried reassuring him, but Charlie smacked her arm lightly.

“Don’t listen to her, she’s ignoring the aftereffects of what happened to her in purgatory” Charlie huffed, annoyed at her, and Foolish bolted up worried about Jaiden “What happened?” he asked, worried and in the process accidentally waking up the others, Cellbit, Roier, Richas, Baghera, Etoiles, Phil, Chayanne and Tallulah.

“What's going on?” Phil asked, tiredly, “Jaiden’s injured!” Foolish huffed, and Jaiden scoffed “I’m not injured!” She protested, making Charlie lightly push her “That's a lie! She’s told me she's been more shaky than normal, and has a ton of bruises!” They protested “And also spacing out a lot!” he points out.

Baghera bolts up at that rushing to Jaidens side “Why haven’t you said anything??” She asked, annoyed at her, and she shrugged “Well, I did tell Charlie..” she admitted, and Cellbit sighed at that.

“No offense — but Charlie isn;;t really good with these kinds of things..” he told the others, and Phill shook his head “No, he is but doesn’t show it most of the time” he explained.

“How are they good with that..?” Roier asked “Stop talking about me like i'm not here!” He huffed, annoyed “Although I thought you guys knew since i wasn’t, y'know hiding it but im a god!: They explained and before anyone could say anything he continued talking “And I have the ability to heal people so that's how i was helping Jaiden!” he explained, beaming.

Cellbit looked at him, shocked. “How did I not realize that before..?” He asked, confused “Because you're stupid” Foolish teased him, making Cellbit huff in annoyance “Okay, back on topic, how long has this been happening..?” Baghera asked Jaiden.

Jaiden shrugged “Pretty sure it's been happening since I died 96 times in Purgatory…” she admitted sheepishly, rubbing at her neck, making Phil look at her in worry “Why haven’t you told us anything..?” Roier asked, worried, “What are your symptoms?” he asked, concerned.

“Well uh– I’ve been shaking a lot more recently, my bruises haven't been and my nose has been bleeding a lot, I mean Etoiles has been helping me with my bruises, but they haven’t been healing..” she admitted to them.

Etoiles huffed in annoyance “Why haven’t you told me this???” He asked, angry, and Jaiden shrugged “I was scared, I guess..” she admitted, making Phil sigh “As much as I might to suggest it I might have to have Bad come look at your injuries..” He informed them, making everyone stiffen up, especially Jaiden and Charlie.

“Can we go to his then?” Carre asked, protective of their little ‘house’, although it is a cave it reminds them of home during Purgatory and that's the only way they feel safe, and Jaiden sighed “Fine..” she agreed, and Phil smiled at her, thankful.

Phill, Jaiden and Charlie had gone to Bad’s house although Jaiden and Charlie were holding hands tightly, as they walked quietly behind Phil “Oh! You guys finally showed up!” Bad greeted them excitedly.

Charlie stiffened even more, and glared at him, and Phil sighed “We’re not here on good terms.” Phil admitted “Although we do need you to check Jaiden’s injuries.. Her bruises won’t heal and her nose keeps bleeding” He explained, and Bad nodded in agreement.

“Of course! Follow me!” He agreed, leading them further into his house, and has Jaiden sit on a couch of sorts, and Jaiden hesitantly sat down “I’m going to do a spell on you” he warned her, and she nodded her agreement.

Bad put a healing spell of sorts on Jaiden, although all the spell did was to see what injuries she had, although being in such close proximity to Bad made her stiffen, and she waited for the moment he would strike..

Bad sighed “It’s probably the after effects of dying so many times in purgatory” Bad admitted, and then looked over to Charlie, “Your healing could probably help” He admitted, and they nodded hesitantly.

“Should I do it here..?” he asked hesitantly, and Bad nodded, and Charlie took a deep breath, as he was anxious to do ANYTHING infront of Bad and they let their magic flow freely out of him, and to heal Jaiden.

Jaiden squeaked in shocked as he wasn't expected the magic to feel so warm? But so cold yet, at the same time it was confronting, and Bad looked at the exchange of the two in fascination, which made Phil glare at him.

“Don’t you dare do anything to them..” Phil threatened Bad, making the taller shrink into himself as he nodded, as Charlie finished healing Jaide, and she beamed up at the God, and he smiled back at her.

“Well.. lets get back to the others..” Phil interrupted them, and they nodded in agreement “Bye, bad..” Charlie bid Bad farewell, while also glaring up at the demon, as they left his base, and Bad, once again shrinked into himself.

“We’re back!” Charlie announced loudly to the others, making Baghera beam “Welcome back!” She greeted them, and the children waved briefly to them before going back to playing with eachother.

Jaiden smiled softly at the display of affection — sure its not the most ethical of houses but its what comfortable to them and reminds them of when they were at least a beat happy, and safe?

“Welcome back!” Carre, for once, also greeted them, and Charlie beamed at him “Ah, your awake!” Cellbit said, surprised that Carre was awake for once, and he nodded beaming, although his smile is tired.

Philza smiled at them, happy his nestmates family is safe, and away from Bad the others that cause threats to his family

Chapter Text

Before purgatory Carre wasn’t really close with anybody, well.. I guess you could say he’s close with Spreen, but he’s dead now, so that doesn’t really count…

He’s now sitting on a tree near their base and looks to where the others are, Slime Charlie is somewhere.. most likely getting killed, as usual, and everyone else is around the fire, and he’s tuned the conversation out.

Philza noticed somebody was missing, and he looked around to see who was missing, and he was surprised to find it was Carre, who was a couple blocks away from them, in a tree, and when they met eye contact he flinched and looked away.

Philza tilted his head in confusion “You good?” Cellbit questioned, and Philza nodded “Yeah, just worried about Carre” he explained, pointing to where he is perched on the tree, and Cellbit sighed.

“I can talk to him if you’d like?” Cellbit suggested, and Philza nodded, smiling gratefully “Yes, if you could..” he agreed, and Cellbit nodded standing up and jogging over to where Care is.

Carre heard footsteps and looked around in panic when all he saw was Cellbiit, which had him realvid, and he waved slightly “What do you need?” he asked, curious as his tail thrashed nervously.

Cellbit chuckled at his reaction, shaking his head fondly “Nothing, Philza’s just worried about you.” he explained, amused, and that made Carre’s eyes go wide in shock, “Why would he care for me..?” he questioned, confusion in his voice, and that made Cellbit sigh “He sees us as flock – or pack, he sees all of team Bolas as family ” Cellbit explains, surprising Carre.

Carre sighed, giving in “Okay, fine I’ll come” he finally agreed, jumping down from the tree, and followed Cellbit to join the others; Philza, Jaiden, and Baghera, and sat down next to Cellbit.

“Where’s Slime?” Phil asked, worried, and Cellbit chuckled “He’s kidnapping team Greens NPC” he informed them making Carre and Jaiden giggle, and that's when they heard footsteps “IM BACK!” he announced, ecstatic.

Carre jumped, not expecting the loudness that's naturally Charlie, and he looked back to where he was and waved to him, and Charlie beamed waving excitedly to him and ran over to them and sat next to Carre.

“Has everyone finished everything for today?” Phil asked, worried, making Cellbit roll his eyes “Yes, dad , I finished all the personal and most of the global tasks” he reassured Phil.

The way Cellbit called Phil ‘Dad’ caused shivers to go up his spine, and his eyes widened in shock, he hasn’t had any kind of parental figure in awhile, but he laughed silently and smiled, and nodded at Phil, “Yeah, I have, erm.. Thanks.. Dad..

Chapter Text

Purgatory had been such a stressful time for him, well not just him but for everyone involved, although it had been slightly less stressful since his friends were with them, even though a lot of them he had to fight.

Luckily when Green, unfortunately losses, and the Green Gay Ninja's had to split, although luckily he was added to Red Team, team Bolas, which had lifted some of his stress, as Philza, one of the people he trusted immensely, were in Team Bolas.

When Etoiles woke up, he already knew that today was going to be a rough day, he didn’t know why it would be a bad day, he just knew it was going to be a shitty day, which meant he felt overly miserable.

The first person he became clingy to was the person he woke up next to, which unfortunately from them, was Roier, as Etoiles didn’t want to get up, and in turn Etoiles wouldn’t want Roier to get up.

Roier groggily woke up, and when he tried to get up, he was surprised when something was restricting well — someone restricting him to getting up, and he immediately knew who it was when something poked him in his head, making him grunt in pain.

”Etoiles?” He questioned the goat hybrid, voice hoarse from sleep, and Etoiles grunted in acknowledgment “We need to get up, Etoiles.. we have things to do” Roier grumbled, and Etoiles growled in annoyance, and Roier huffed in amusement.

Etoiles continued to be clingy throughout the day, and surprisingly the easiest person to cling to was Charlie, speaking of which the Slime hybrid looked to space out when Etoiles loomed over him and slumped against him, and made the Slime jump in surprise.

Charlie tenses at first, although quickly calmed down when he realized it was actually Etoiles “Hey man!” The slime greeted the goat hybrid, making the taller man hum “You okay? You’ve been out of it for the whole day?” Charlie questioned, and Etoiles shrugged in response.

”Have been feeling bad day” Etoiles admitted, although muffled as he is nuzzled into Charlie's neck, and Charlie smiles sadly in sympathy “Let's go back to base, yeah? Where is it more comfortable?” He suggested, and Etoiles nodded, letting Charlie lead them back to red base.

When they got back to base, the rest of the team were already there, most likely doing their personal and global tasks, Philza perks up when he hears the two of them enter the base, and winces in sympathy when he sees the state of Etoiles.

“You still feeling bad?” The avian questions Etoiles, and he nods as he leads him back into the next to where Mouse Carre are sleeping, and Roier chuckles at that “This means you're now forced to take a break” the spider hybrid teases him, and huffs at that.

”Cuddle time?” Baghera questions, excited as her wings puff up in excitement, in which Philza sighs in agreement “C’mon guys let's take a break” he announces to the group, and everyone takes the invitation.
