Description: Tanya Von Degurechaff, the infamous Devil of the Rhine, was a major player in World War I. Born on 24th September 1906, she joined the military in 1915 when she was nine years old and was 11 when she attacked Moscow in 1917. 24 years before the events of Azur Lane, Tanya used to be a Battalion Commander and the First Lieutenant. In charge of the Eleventh Aeriel Battalion, she the the Empires ace card. She was also the only one at the time, besides Mary Sue of America, who supposedly survived the prototype ship girl experiments. What happened was that people tried to put in parts of vehicles like warships onto humans but the only known successful ones were Tanya and Mary. She was awarded several awards like the Iron Cross, Silver Wings, Oak Leaves Badge, White Winged Grand Iron Cross, along with several other badges and medals for her participation and impact within the military. She also ranked up several times due to her actions, jumping from Lt. Colonel to First Lieutenant in just a year and becoming a general a few years after that. Unfortunately, the Eleventh Aeriel Battalion broke apart and her closest/only actual friend, Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov, left the Army and ended up in the Navy. But now, in 1941, Iron Blood was in dire need of a Commander to lead them and the government of Germany thought it would be a wonderful idea to send Tanya there to act as an Admiral for the Iron Blood Navy forces.

Chapter 2: Return of Tanya the Evil

Chapter Text

No one's POV

It was the year 1941. In the main Government Council of Iron Blood, a large conference was taking place to discuss the current state of the Iron Blood Navy.

*THUD!*

The president slammed his fist into his desk and let out a long sigh of frustration. He held his head and started to brainstorm. The other ministers all looked just as serious as he was.

"What do we do about this ? Increase in siren activity in the oceans have started becoming a major concern. They've already wiped out a major portion of humanity. We managed to push them back in the war between 1924 and 1927 but they've become active again." A minister spoke up.

"Yes, but this time they've got even greater technology than before. We're starting to fall behind. And recent secretive acts from Sakura Empire is also concerning." Another one mentioned.

Sakura Empire are allies with Iron Blood, however, they've been conducting several secret operations and the ministers were getting concerned. Not only that, but they're previous loses against Azur Lane was also very demoralising.

"Our enemy isn't Azur Lane anymore. We've got to deal with the sirens. 85% of the human population of Iron Blood has been wiped out by those monsters!"

"That reminds me...." The prime minister spoke up, gaining the attention of everyone present.

"I have received word that the previous naval commander fell in battle against the sirens. We need another commander." The prime minister emphasized the problem.

"Too many people have died. We can't be careless about this anymore! We have to send someone capable! Someone who can turn the tide of this war! Someone who can put a stop to those sirens for good!" The president said with a serious and frustrated expression. He was desperate. Too many lives were lost and their naval forces weren't doing too well. Land forces have been weakened beyond repair and sirens don't launch ground invasions, so they won't do anything.

In military section, all of the generals were in deep thought. There were four seats but only three were occupied. The fourth was empty, having nobody sitting there.

Sitting on the place with the nameplate [Erich Von Rerugen], the man had his eyes and hands closed and was in deep thought. His eyes slowly opened with beads of sweat tickling down his face.

"I... I have a suggestion." Erich finally spoke up.

His words brought the attention of all the council members, who looked in his direction.

"What is it general Rerugen ?"

"I have a candidate in mind to send as the main commander and admiral of Iron Blood Navy." He spoke in a shaky tone.

"Then please, do tell who you have in mind."

Not saying anything, he looked at the empty seat and then back at the ministers, who started to get anxious. "If we wish to defeat those monsters, we'll have to use our own monster as well."

"Our monster ? What are you talking about, general ?" The president raised an eyebrow.

"Wait... General Rerugen, you don't mean...!" The other two military leaders gasped as they also began to sweat profusely.

"Yes. She is our best bet right now." Erich gulped his own saliva and hid his nervousness.

"Are you nuts?! Her of all people?!" One of the military generals stood up in shock, suprising the rest of the council.

"I am aware that her methods are a bit... questionable, but we simply don't have a choice here. Unless of course, you have someone else in mind." He looked at the man with a serious gaze and he froze. He slowly sat back down in surrender. All military leaders looked nervous, almost as if they were scared of this person.

"Who is this person you are talking about general ?" The prime minister asked.

Erich looked at them with a serious expression. "The Spawn of Satan herself. She goes by many names. Greatest General of Iron Blood. The Eleventh Goddess. The Ace of Aces. Mithril. Leader of the Eleventh Aeriel Battalion."

They all started to get nervous and many ministers widened their eyes in realisation as to who he was referring to.

"I'm sure you have all of this name. The Devil of the Rhine." His voice got deathly serious at the end and the entire council stared at him in shock, many enveloping looks of fear.

Meanwhile at Iron Blood Naval Base

"Um... What's happening ?" A certain brown haired girl sweatdropped at what she was looking at.

Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov, a commander in Iron Blood and former Lieutenant of the Eleventh Aeriel Battalion, stood there with a confused expression on witnessing the scene before her unfold.

We see Prinz Eugen laughing to herself as Admiral Hipper is raging and Z23 is trying to hold her back.

"You know dear sister, for someone with such a flat chest, you have a very big temper." Prinz Eugen spoke smugly, only serving tick Hipper off even more.

"I will smack you! I'm the bigger shwester here!" She trashed around while Z23 was struggling to hold her back.

"Prinz Eugen, please stop teasing her so much." Z23 outwardly expressed her displeasure at Prinz Eugens actions.

Prinz Eugen merely giggled and looked forward as Visha sighed. "Prinz Eugen please, behave. At least for today. We'll be getting our new admiral today."

"Huh ? Another one ? How many more will they send ?" Z23 sighed as she didn't want more people dead.

Prinz Eugen smiled. "Ah yes, I almost forgot! I bought some chocolate to give to our newest admiral as a gift!"

On hearing this, Hipper stopped and stared at her with a disturbed look. "You didn't put it where I think you put it... did you ?"

Prinz Eugen simply smiled at her, telling her everything she needed to know. Hipper facepalmed at her sister's antics and Viktoriya just smiled, not knowing the horrors that await her.

"Both of you should be quiet. We will be going over to meet our new naval leader soon." They both looked at the door and saw Bismarck walking in.

"Oh hello there Bismarck. Back already ?" Visha smiled at her.

"Yes commander Serebryakov. You see, I've received word that we will be getting an admiral today to lead our naval forces. Tirpitz should also be arriving in short time." Bismarck spoke.

"That's good. I've heard that there will be a meeting held in an hour or so. I will see you all then." She bowed and left the room.

Viktoriya also sighed and began to leave. "I'll also take my leave. I'll just rest a little and come back when I'm called."

"Alright, see you~" Prinz Eugen winked at her and she left.

Viktoriya tiredly sighed and went over to her office. "I wonder who they chose this time. I really hope this new leader will be strong and won't die too quickly."

She opened the door to her office and slowly closed it behind her before sighing.

"You're late." Viktoriya's eyes widened as she heard a voice behind her.

The voice that just spoke out held authority and power as it made her entire body shiver. A somewhat familiar feeling of nostalgia washed over her and she slowly turned around.

Seated at her desk, was a person. A woman. She was sitting while turning to the wall behind the desk so Visha couldn't see her face. However, a feeling of dread creeped into her as the person began to speak again.

"It's been a very long time, first lieutenant. 15 years since you left, in fact." She spoke in an empowering tone which sent shivers down the girls spine.

The voice then started to register in her mind and her eyes slowly widened as she took notice of the very long blonde hair coming from the sides of the chair. The chair then began to move back around and slowly but surely faced Viktoriya.

"It's been an extremely long time since I've had the opportunity to tasting your marvelous tea again. Why don't you go make some." The figure smirked while putting hers palms together as she threw her legs onto the table and leaned back.

Viktoriya was unable to believe her own eyes. "G-G-G-General?!"

The woman laughed while removing the ciggerate from her mouth and puffing out some smoke. "Still the same girl you were before huh, Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov."

She looked at her with a serious expression. "Say my name."

"W-wha-"

"And I don't mean it with honorifics. I don't want my titles mentioned. Just my name. Say it." She ordered and Visha felt dread and her body instantly obeyed.

"T-Tanya Von Degurechaff..."

She smirked in satisfaction and laid back in the chair. "That's right. Much better."

"B-but may I know why you suddenly showed up here ? I wasn't informed of this or anything...." Visha wanted to go give her old friend and senior a hug but she feared she would anger Tanya on accident.

"No. You were informed."

"Eh ?"

Tanya sighed at her. "I'm the new fleet admiral for Iron Blood Navy."

Viktoriya stood there motionless as the gears in her mind began to turn, trying to process what her senior just said.

"EEEEEEHHHHH?!!!"

Chapter 3: Tanya Von Degurechaff

Chapter Text

No one's POV

Timeline: Three days prior to Tanya's arrival.

"What is it, General Rerugen ?" A female voice was heard as Tanya was seen setting some documents in her office.

"We have decided to repost you somewhere else. After the destruction that aired during the Great Siren Invasion and our difficulties in the First World War, we have decided that there is no better person for such a job that you." Erich explained but Tanya didn't even bother to turn around and look at him.

Instead, she walked past him and placed the documents in their files. "Is that right ? And where am I getting posted to, exactly ?"

"The main naval base. After countless losses against the sirens, and the several good soldiers that have perished under this post, we simply cannot afford to lose any longer." He explained.

"General Degurechaff. You are to become the fleet admiral of our naval forces and lead us to victory against the siren, just like you did in 1926." He said, referring to the first invasion the siren had launched against humanity, which resulted in half the population getting wiped out.

It was this invasion that led to a unity between all nations. However, it seems that they have broken apart again and become two major powers. Azur Lane and Crimson Axis.

"So you wish for me to take control over the battlefield beyond oceanic borders as well ?" She asked him calmly.

"Yes. This a mutually accepted decision by the entire government. I see no one else more capable to handle this task then you." Tanya sighed and put her files down. She then turned towards her fellow general with a serious face.

"Then when do I leave ?"

"Tomorrow. You will become the admiral three days from now. It will take a day to reach that place, so get ready soon and have a good rest. You will be assigned a personal assistant as well." He brought out a photograph of an older woman with long light brown hair and big blue eyes. She seemed to be in her early forties, but despite that, she was extremely beautiful.

"Who's that ?" Erich fell on his face when he heard the cluelessness in Tanya's voice.

"G-general! Don't tell me you don't recognise her?!" Tanya tilted her head in confusion as Erich sighed.

"She used to be your right hand remember ? She's been your assistant for ten years before leaving for the navy in 1926. This is former Lieutenant, Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov." Tanya stared at him quietly, blinking a few times as the sound of glass shattering was heard somewhere in the distance.

"What?!!" The next second, the photo was snatched out of Erich's hand as Tanya stared straight into it. She looked at him and back at the picture multiple times as her usually calm face is nowhere to be seen.

She then looked at Erich with a look of shock and pointed at Visha's photo. "This is her?!! She looks entirely different from before!"

Erich then realised that she didn't recognise Visha because of how much she had changed. It was true. Viktoriya looked much more mature and beautiful than before. Some would say she looked nothing like her old self.

"Yes... that is her."

Tanya stared at him incredulously as an image of Visha from her time in the Eleventh Aeriel Battalion popped up in her mind. To think that she changed this much...

No one's POV

Several ships began to gather in the made hall as they heard the news of a new admiral. Many were not that enthusiastic about it considering how many have already died from their side. Honestly, many ships didn't think this new admiral would be that big of a deal and would probably die very quickly.

But oh boy were they wrong....

All the ships were whispering among each other, gossiping about the new admiral.

"Who do you think it's going to be ?"

"Probably a nobody. You remember what happened to all our previous admirals right ?"

"I'm sick of this. Why do they keep sending people to die ?"

The destroyers were all disturbed by the government sending people to their deaths. The higher ranking and more powerful ships were also disheartened, but they couldn't do anything about that. In the military, one must always listen to their superiors. That is a military law. One that Tanya followed very strictly.

"I wonder what this new admiral looks like. From what I've heard, she's a girl." Admiral Hipper wondered as her sister, Prinz Eugen, laughed next to her.

"Hopefully not cutting board like you." Hipper stared at her in shock and anger and began to throw a tantrum.

"Shut up! Stop being so smug about it!"

Roon for one, was not excited about having another admiral. Most admirals and commanders avoided and disliked her already. The only one to openly approach and befriend her, despite her personality and behaviour was Viktoriya. She didn't want anyone else besides Visha.

Bismarck and Tirpitz were both seated in the front rows, giving them a clear viewing.

"Sister, do you have any idea who the admiral is ?" Bismarck questioned.

"No. But, from what I've been hearing, she seems capable enough." Hearing the words of her sister, Bismarck looked away with a frown.

"I hope she is... I don't want another human to die for no reason. Iron Blood has lost so many humans already..." Tirpitz also frowned. She wholeheartedly agreed with Bismarck's sentiment.

Friedrich Der Große was also skeptical about this. She did not want more people to die, but she also didn't want her fellow ship girls to be hurt any further.

Around that time, one of the four generals of the Iron Blood military took the stage as the crowds got quieter. In all honesty, the ships were somewhat surprised by all the sudden facilities, food stores and fancy decorations. They had never had such an open announcement for an admiral before and this definitely rose some suspicion. The ships were also surprised by the fact that Visha was basically gone. She had disappeared yesterday and hadn't been seen at the base all day, which led many to believe she might have been replaced, much to their horror. They all secretly hoped she hadn't been removed from her post since they all loved her.

Erich Von Rerugen, stepped up and stood in front of the crowd of ship girls.

"My name is Erich Von Rerugen, a general of the Iron Blood Military. And I am here on behalf of the government to personally provide you with a truly capable admiral." He began to speak.

"I shall keep this brief. Your newly assigned admiral isn't like your previous ones. This one is truly fit for this role. She will lead you all to victory against the siren! You have all already heard of her at least once in your life. She is a world war one veteran soldier and a survivor of the Great Siren Invasion of 1926." He explained and many ship girls were surprised.

A world war one veteran and a survivor of the largest, most horrific war to ever happen, the siren invasion. That alone puts her in a league of people that deserve respect.

"She is without a doubt, our most powerful soldier. The strongest and most dangerous human you will ever see. Our country's ace. But I must warn you all about somethings as well. For starters, do not get on her bad side. And when I say that, I absolutely mean that. By no circumstances are any of you to disobey or anger her in any way. She is a general in our army, meaning she is highest ranking power in this building. And as such, you will all listen to her every order without failure. She is also a very calm and rational person who takes the rules very seriously. Never disobey her, no matter what." They way he said those lines left many shops concerned. The higher ranked ships were able to see clearly that Erich was scared of their new admiral. He's not saying this out of respect. It's out of fear. Our of personal experience.

"And for those who are wondering, commander Serebryakov is still here. She is assigned to your admiral as her right hand and personal assistant, which is why she's been gone yesterday." He clarified and many ships let out sighs of relief.

"Now then, without further ado. I shall introduce to you, your new fleet admiral."

Outside the room, Tanya and Visha were seen walking over to their destination. Tanya was reading some files while walking and she handed them over to a soldier without stopping and continued on her way with Visha by her side.

"I would like you all to welcome, the Eleventh Goddess. The Ace of Aces. The Mithril. Rusted Silver. The Strongest General. The War Hero of Iron Blood herself, Tanya Von Degurechaff. The infamous, Devil of the Rhine." The moment he said that, the entire place went silent. Every ship in the vicinity went quiet. Nobody spoke. Suddenly, large amounts of whispers and shocked remarks were thrown around the room.

However, all of those remarks and voices died down as the main door was opened. They all looked towards it and Tanya walked in the room with Visha by her side. Visha was gently holding Tanya's coat, placing it properly on her back, making Tanya sigh.

She let go and Tanya walked over to the stage as Visha stayed behind. She took the mic on hand and looked around at the ships gathered there.

"My name is Tanya Von Degurechaff. Highest ranking general in the Iron Blood military. I have been assigned as the fleet admiral of the navy to fight against the siren. I expect proper coordination from the ship girls. Follow my lead and I will lead the nation to greatness. You have my word. The Fatherland, will be protected and preserved." She declared and all the ship girls stared at her in awe, some in admiration.

Many had heard of her heroic deeds during the siren invasion, mostly from Visha, who would tell stories about her time during the wars.

"As the admiral, should any problem arise, you may consult me about it. You may even inform Visha about it and have her inform me." She then looked at FDG, who was extremely surprised by her sudden appearance.

"Friedrich Der Große, still doing well I hope." She waved, snapping her out of her trance.

Friedrich Der Große was a ship in the first world war and she had the pleasure of meeting Tanya and Visha during an overseas mission.

"As I said, I will protect the Fatherland. You have to simply follow my lead and I will guarantee victory." She then put her hands together and stared at the ceiling.

"Oh god..." She looked like she was praying.

"Oh ? I didn't know she was religious-" Tirpitz started to speak.

"I will slice you up into tiny pieces and feed you to the pigs!" She declared as Tirpitz started at her in surprise.

"N-nevermind..."

Viktoriya stared at her without any reaction, remembering her saying the same thing twenty years ago. She wondered... Did Tanya hate god or did she like him ? Because she used to pray a lot but it seems like she hates god. That confused her.

"We soldiers will take Gods place! Put that arrogant ass "God" out of a job!" She said that and put her generals hat back on.

"Alright troops... It's time for war!" She declared with a ginormous smile on her face.

Chapter 4: History Lesson

Chapter Text

No one's POV

No one spoke as Tanya exited the stage, being guided by her right hand, Victoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov. Tanya's face was still as serious as ever as Visha followed after her, placing her military coat onto Tanya's shoulders as they walked forward and left the room.

"Even after all these years, you haven't even changed at all, huh ?" Visha said while looking down a little. She was smiling a bit, happy that her general hadn't changed too much, but she also hoped she wasn't as harsh as she was in the past.

News flash! She still was.

"Hmph. You're going to wish I did." Tanya said in a much lower tone.

"What ?"

"Nothing. Anyways, why don't we go out for some beer." Visha raised an eyebrow at her when she said this.

"A-are you sure general ? You know you–"

"Oh please Visha, I'm not a child anymore."

"Yeah but... You know..."

"Let's go!" Tanya's arm wrapped around Victoriya wrist, taking her by surprise as Tanya began to literally drag her away. He tried to get away, but it seems that the general had gotten much, much stronger physically.

'It's not that I don't want to spend time with General Degurechaff, it's just that she's... A very strong drinker... I can't really keep up with her.... And during the times where she gets super drunk....' Victoriya shuddered as that distant memory replayed in her mind.

"I hope she doesn't blow the bar up like last time....' She cringed while submitting to her generals orders.

Meanwhile, all the ship girls just watched as Tanya got off the stage and walked out of the room. The atmosphere was tense and quiet the entire time, until the door shut after they had left, leaving the kansen with some breathing room. Many of them were unknowingly holding their breaths the whole time Tanya was speaking.

Many destroyers and cruisers gathered up as Tirpitz and Bismarck also stood back up.

"That was a surprise. I wasn't expecting to see the military war hero herself. So that's what she looks like." Bismarck said.

"Yes, it is as you say sister. One look at her and even if you didn't know who she was, you could tell she's experienced. Though I do wonder how good she is in the battlefield. I heard she always fought on the front lines." Tirpitz thought.

Truth be told, both were ecstatic and really wanted to see their idol in action.

Bismarck and Tirpitz greatly look up to Tanya like an idol, as they had heard tales about her heroic deeds to save the human race during the Great Siren Invasion.

"Tanya Von Degurechaff... I never imagined seeing her again like this." Friedrich De Grobe said with a smile of admiration spread on her face.

Roon quickly approached her and stared up at the older ship. "You've met her, Friedrich ?"

FDG smiled at her. "Yes, I have. It was over two whole decades ago, back when the First World War was still going on."

"Back then, things were looking south for me. I was ambushed by many enemy planes and I was starting to get overwhelmed. That's when she appeared. General Degurechaff, along with our Commander Victoriya and the rest of her battalion arrived on the scene. It was splendid. Not only was I saved, but I witnessed firsthand why she's known as Humanity's Strongest Soldier." FDG told this and Room seemed very interested in it.

"Oh~? How very interesting. So, you got lucky hmm ?" Prinz Eugen said while approaching her with Admiral Hipper and Z23.

"I am also very interested. Victoriya always tells us stories about her time with the General. Do you have anything to say, perhaps ?" Asked Graf Zeppelin, who also approached FDG.

"Well, do you all want to know what happens during the second world war?" She asked and this seemed to get the attention of all of them, including the Bismarck class ships.

"Really ? Will you really tell us?! Victoriya doesn't tell us about anything that happened after the first world war..."

"Of course. Well, I'm sure you all know how war-torn the world was before. There were three consecutive wars fought between 1914 and 1926. At the end of the third war, our dear commander left the army and lived by herself, before coming to our naval base." FDG explained.

"World War One. World War Two. The Great Siren Invasion. These were the three wars fought between those 12 years. I'm sure Victoriya has already told you all stories about WWI, so I'll refrain from speaking about it." They all nodded to her, confirming that Visha had indeed told them many interesting stories.

"The second world war, wasn't exactly a battle between nations. It was more of a battle between two legends." She said this and they all seemed confused.

"What do you mean, Friedrich ?" Asked a confused Admiral Hipper.

"Well, the two war heroes, Tanya Degurechaff of Iron Blood and Mary Sue of Eagle Union, used to be arch enemies at the time. The second world war happened because of their conflicts." She nervously smiled, shocking the other kansen.

"What?!"

A global scale war was caused because of a grudge between two teenagers.

"Yes. The major players of the war, were mainly Irom Blood and Eagle Union. The war started in September 1919, when the Iron Blood military attacked a neighbouring nation, which then led to conflict with the western powers." They all knew that Friedrich De Grobe was talking about the Invasion of Poland, the act that started the second world war.

"We were already at war with Eagle Union at the time, but after the invasion, Royal Navy and Iris Orthodoxy also entered the war against Iron Blood. Iron Blood later went to war with Iris Orthodoxy and won due to a strategic devised by General Degurechaff. Blitzkrieg." The Blitzkrieg incident allows millions of imperial troops to march into Iris Orthodoxy and occupy it, forming the Vichya Dominion.

"After this incident, Sardegna Empire allied with Iron Blood to wage war against Eagle Union and Royal Navy. In July of 1920, there was a massive oceanic battle between ships and mage units, known as the Atlantic War. During this time, Berlin and London were prone to several bombing raids. This was then followed by a full scale war against the Royal Navy over the English Channel. Iris Libre was formed at this time and Sakura Empire attacked Dragon Empery. There were also several battles fought on Atlantic and Pacific islands." She explained as the other ships all listened to her attentively.

"In the summer of 1922, Iron Blood launched an Invasion of the Northern Parliament. Most of the Iron Blood forces, led General Degurechaff, were were sent to the northern front to fight. Eagle Union retaliated by sending their best soldiers, led by Mary Sue, to the north. This war lasted for nearly a year. The battles fought in the northern front were destructive and brutal. Dozens of cities fell and million lost their lives." All the ships bit their lips, knowing that millions suffered because of this. They didn't understand why humans wages war on other humans. The threat of the siren is what brought the world together.

"A bunch of wars were fought in the Swedish and Northern Region, and destructive battles of Stalingrad and Moscow. Iron Blood was winning the war. General Degurechaff chose the date of attack to be at summer, so there was no threat of winter hindering her plans. But even so, the invasion failed. Not because they lost, but because of Sakura Empire." That last bit of information surprised them.

"Sakura Empire ? What do they have to do with this ?" Z23 questioned.

"Well you see, just before the general could conquer the capital city, Sakura Empire launched a surprise air raid on the capital city of Berlin. Their sudden involvement forced the higher ups to call the northern forces back to the fatherland." Prinz Eugen cracked up a laugh on hearing this.

"Wow. General must have been angry."

"Oh she was. Livid infact. In response to their attack, General Degurechaff and the 203rd Mage Batallion, retaliated and launched an attack on Sakura Empire. Thus destroyed all their ships and launched artillery strikes on the mainland. General Degurechaff then bombed two different cities, wiping out everyone from those cities." She said, referring to the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, both of which were Tanya's fault.

They kansen were shocked when they heard what Tanya did and even slightly shaken. How could one kill so many people without a second thought ? They could never imagine.

"This action knocked Sakura Empire out of the war. In fact, even to this day, they are still affected by it. General Degurechaff actually does have great influence in Sakura Empire because the admirals are afraid of her. Not only did this remove Sakura Empire from the war, but Royal Navy and Northern Parliament also backed off. Sardegna Empire also left the war after Iris Libre was formed. This left only Eagle Union and Iron Blood as the participants."

"In 1925, the last and final battle took place in the Balkans Region. An all out war between the two nations that would decide the future of the whole world. It was during this battle, that Victoriya got injured. General Sue was the one that crippled Victoriya, leaving her unable to fight anymore." She revealed this last bit of information and Roon was a little angry. Roon really loved Victoriya and disliked that she was almost killed by Mary Sue.

"Fortunately, General Degurechaff saved her and fought General Sue by herself. These two started the war, and they were going to end it. However, they never did settle the score, as they were interrupted by an invasive race." They all hardened their faces, knowing full well who FDG was talking about.

Clenching her fist, Bismarck and Tirpitz said one thing. "Sirens..."

"Yes. The Sirens had arrived on our planet and attacked the battlefield. Everyone fled the scene and regrouped afterwards. This marked the beginning of the Great Siren Invasion, which lasted until their defeat in November 1926. The sirens were a major threat and the entire world had to unite to fight them off. This is what marked the formation of a global alliance, called Azur Lane. Unfortunately, most of humanity was wiped out in the process."

All the kansen clenched their fists in anger. Over 80% of humanity was destroyed by the siren during that horrible year. An everlasting impact that will be forever embedded in the history of humanity.

"That's all for today. I'll tell you about the Great Siren Invasion at a later date. For now, I believe we should prepare to meet our new general." They all nodded in agreement and got ready to meet their new admiral.
