Chapter Text

"Here have her" Lex said as he pushed a girl towards Kara. She looked down at her and saw the fear in her eyes as a tear rolled down her cheek. "Please Lex don't leave me here please". She cried out as he walked away towards his car.

---------------------------- A few days earlier
"Bizz". Kara Groggily dragged her arm over to the snooze button on her alarm as she got up tired of listening to the nagging fly like buzz of the cheap alarm from the store. Slowly Kara got up and out of the wooden bed as she walked over to her dresser to put her glasses once she could finally, she stretched out like a cat. Kara walked to the bathroom and opened the cabinet and pulled out the watermelon toothpaste that Alex always said was for children. Once Kara had finished brushing her teeth, she walked out of her room to find Alex decked out on the couch Infront of the tv watching the news. "what's going on Alex?" She asked, " Why are you here this early". She said walking over to the mug which was filled to the brim with coffee and began to sip the warm sweet liquid.

"They killed him". Alex said softly. Shocked by what she had just heard Kara began to spew out multiple questions to Alex. "Who killed him" " who is it". She asked, " Lex's men they killed Donavan". It took Kara a moment, but it finally dawned on her that Donvan was the new hire who had just started working for kara to pay off his family's debts. "NO, he can't be dead what happened "Kara asked with a frustrated and angry look on her face. "He got into an argument with one of Lex's and they all just started going haywire on him". Kara's face slowly turned into a pained face as Alex told her the details. After taking a moment to gather herself Kara looked at Alex "I want revenge, an eye for an eye what do you say". She said with a menacing grin on her face." I agree an eye for an eye" said Alex while looking down at the floor.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YO KILLED HIM". Shouted lex as he stared Otis and a few other lackeys down". Angrily he slammed his fist into the desk " Fucking answer me someone or I swear the consequences will not be pretty" he said losing his patience" all I ask for is one task and yet you idiots can't seem to do it without adding extra problems". He said while turning his back to them to grab the decanter full of scotch. Slowly he poured "Get out of my sight "He said with a growl. As he sat down at his desk, he heard a knock at the door " Stay out I'm not in the mood". Ignoring his warning the door opened and he looked up to see his younger sister in the doorway." What's wrong brother why are you so angry". She said sitting on the chair Infront of his desk." A couple of my men killed one of the El mayarah's and now I certainly know if we weren't screwed before we definitely are now." He said while taking a sip. "But it's fine because no matter what they will never win.

“What are you going to do Lex? "She asked, looking at her brother with a concerned look on her face. Shifting in his chair he rubbed his forehead and turned away from Lena looking at the skyline.
“I have to call a meeting with the Mayarah to make sure that they don't attack us for this shit situation". Frightened she stood up with a shocked look on her face. "Lex you can't be serious what if they come here and try to attack us”.

Shooting up from his chair, Lex spins around and glares at his sister.” Don't question me Lena I know what I am doing.” He says as he storms out of the room angrily leaving Lena standing there in silence.

“Kara why is there a letter on your desk?” Alex said as she lifted up a white envelope with a green seal. “Second of all, why is it from Lex Luthor”. Alex said shocked as she examined the emerald, green wax seal closer.

Swiftly Kara walked over to her sister and plucked the card out of her hand and opened it to see an invitation to the Luthor’s Building.”

“It seems to me that the Luthors are trying to save their asses by calling a last-minute meeting”. Kara said as she flicked the invite in the trash.

“What do you think Alex, should we go?” Kara asks with a smirk slowly appearing on her face.
Alex responds with a simple nod as she watches Kara take her place on the chair facing towards the window.

“Alex, do me a favor and round up the board. It seems that today we are all taking a little field trip". Once Alex walks out the door Kara starts to think and plan all of the possibilities that could happen if she was not satisfied with the results of the meeting.

Her thoughts were interrupted by Alex on the intercom telling Kara that the board was ready to go. Kara got up with a sigh. Honestly, she really hated the conflict that the Luthors always seemed to cause.

As she made her way down the elevator, she pulled her keys out of her front pocket and walked to her car. Where Alex was waiting. “Are you sure you want to do this Kara” “

“We don't have to go if you don’t want to,” said Alex. After Sitting down in the car, Kara turned to Alex with a determined look.” No Alex I have to do this if not for me then for Donny." She said as they pulled out of the garage.

“Mr. Luthor your Guests are here". Said Eve as she opened the door revealing Kara and the rest of the Mayarah Board. “Have a seat please”. Lex said standing up with what Kara thought might have been the fakest smile ever.

“Now I know we're not here to become friends, but I don't want to fight you, so I am willing to make an offer” said Kara as she took her seat across from Lex. “What is it that you want Ms. Danvers.” Lex asked with a questioning look on his face.

Before Kara could respond the door flew open as Lillian Luthor busted in with a woman trailing behind her." Lex you will make no deals with these savages.” Said Lillian as she placed herself behind her son.

Raising her eyebrow, Kara glared at Lillian” We are not savages so please do not refer to us as such". Kara said as her eyes glared into Lillian’s. “

Excuse my mother, she is just frightened, isn't that the right mother”. Lex said, turning to his mother with a stern look in his eyes. Obliging Lillian softened her face “Yes Lex is right I am very afraid." Lillian said kara wanted to call bullshit so bad but before she got to do anything she heard a scoff from the corner of the room.

Hearing the scoff everyone turned to see where it had come from and that is where kara saw what she thought was an angel. She had pitch black hair, Skin like porcelain, and the deepest green eyes kara had ever seen.

With a painful kick to the shin Kara re focused her sights on the deal that Lex was previously talking about. Clearing his throat Lex began to explain his deal. “My deal is that if I give you someone else in turn you will leave us alone”.Said lex as he stared at kara waiting for her response.

“I think that should suffice.” Said Lex as he watched nervously as Kara pondered his offer.
Letting out a sigh Kara leans back in her chair “I agree with your deal". Relaxing in his chair lex responded “I will have one of my people send you a location and time to receive my end of the deal.”

Standing up to leave, kara turned around to look at lex “I’ll be waiting”. She said as the door shut. Once the Mayaras left Lena stood up from her chair in the corner of the room “Lex who are you going to give them to replace the boy”. She asked as she got closer to Lex’s Chair.

“I don't know but I will have to decide sooner than later.” he said with a huff while rubbing his temples.
Walking out of the room lex ran into his mother “Lex I have a perfect solution which should solve our problems”.
