Jen 10: Prime Time Corruption

Summary:

What if an unknown entity made a few slight changes to the Omnitrix before it got into the hands of a certain Ben Tennyson? What changes will be added? Will the main change be spoiled in the tags?(yes) How will events play out in this corrupted timeline? Find out in Jen 10: Prime Time Corruption!

Notes:

This story will have some adult themes, but nothing too graphic. I plan on making this story go from the original series all the way to Omniverse, and then some. There will be lots of crossovers but mostly with aliens and with certain chapters way down the line. Hopefully the world won't end when I get to Omniverse, but oh well, maybe I should just write faster for once. I hope you enjoy the first chapter, and don't be afraid to leave any types of comments, I will read any and all of them.

Chapter 1: And Then there Was Jen

Chapter Text

?: Where shall we start?... How about the only beginning that matters, around the planet Jupiter where the fate of the universe, and perhaps more, will be decided.

***********

Over the planet of Jupiter a battle for the ultimate weapon was happening, where a small teal and green star-ship was being attacked by a much bigger red one. As both ships were passing by Jupiter the larger ship managed to land a few blows on the smaller one. The ship managed to weather the blows and respond in tune, firing a barrage of lasers at the imposing ship managing to give it some damage to its hull.

One of the red ships robotic lieutenants spoke to the ship's captain,"Hull damage: 20 percent, weapon system's still operational."

The captain responded, "I have come too far to be denied," he responded while his ship continued to give chase.

"The Omnitrix shall be mine, and there is not a being in the galaxy that dares stand in my way!"

*Meanwhile, on a planet nearby*

On an insignificant planet, in an even more insignificant city, while going to an even greater insignificant school there was a young boy who appeared to be folding a piece of paper into a paper airplane. Once he finished it, he threw it into the air, not having any particular target in mind. Although if he was aiming at his teachers head then his future marksmanship could be quite impressive, although considering he threw a paper airplane at his teachers head there's a chance he won't make it out of the school alive. After the teacher was hit she looked behind her to see who the culprit was, and while this boy took notice of her reaction he decided to play the fool, quickly looking into his textbook in order to avoid eye contact with her.

*Meanwhile, directly behind the red star-ship*

"Status report," an unknown being asked no one in particular.

"We are directly behind the pursuing star-ship, I estimate ten minutes until we reach our shared target," the pilot informed.

"Good, how are the cloaking devices holding up? If we're spotted, it will ruin my plans, and I don't feel like using any time warping today," the unknown being said.

"All ten versions are fully operational, no one, not even the four possible threats can see what is coming," the pilot responded.

"Excellent, soon, my grand plan will come into motion, and no one should be able to stop me!" The unknown being yelled aloud.

"Should be able to, my Lord?" the only crew member talking to this being asked.

"Well, I know two of the four are none the wiser, but there could be a chance with the other two, but by the time they figure things out it will be too late, and the best part is they won't know who to blame, which will drive one of them insane just trying to figure it out, HAHAHAHAHAHA!" the being yelled out to the couple crew members on the bridge of the invisible ship.

Good thing said ship was invisible, for it was a massive ship, almost in the shape of a triangle, but with a gap on the tip where two hangar bays resided. The color of the ship was similar in color to a darkened steel-like material, while small orbs of yellow light orbited around the ship, almost as if the ship was an atom where the main ship was the nucleus while the orbs were the electrons. While the dark steel star-ship shadowed the red one, the unknown being remembered something happening outside the bridge windows.

"Pilot, may I ask you a few questions?" The being asked.

"Of course my Lord, I am here to serve and answer," the pilot replied.

"You're currently the only one piloting this vessel, correct?"

"An astute observation, my Lord,"

"And this vessel can follow the others before us easily undetected, yes?"

"Considering you and many others helped design this ship to be a perfect stealth-ship for your plans... I don't know, probably,"

"And we should be able to move forward towards my goal in a straight path?"

"Well, of course my Lord, we could go in a less straight path if you'd like, but that would add a few more minutes to our arrival at the side of our target,"

"No no, keep on target, but either way don't you think we should be facing the target more so than not?"

"More so? What do you mean?"

"What I mean is this ship is currently spinning around wildly,"

While the dark steel ship was on track to be by the side of its targeted ship, it wasn't always pointing towards the ship, in fact it rarely ever did, considering the ship was spinning seemingly out of control, wildly spinning in any and every direction, simulating an out of control star-ship.

"... I have no idea what you're talking about,"

"You liar! I have eyes, I can see outside the bridge windows, we're currently spiraling towards our target in a comically slow fashion! Relative to the speed all three ships are currently going,"

"You are clearly mistaken my Lord, if we were spiraling out of control we'd be going in a wildly different direction than our target's going, and as you can see we are still on target,"

"I know, I'm still wondering why that is, even though we one-hundred percent are spiraling out of control! How'd you even do this?! Are you high?"

"Of course not my Lord, I always consume all of my drugs right before take off so that I wouldn't be on the influence while I'm on duty,"

"...... *sigh*, Just, go on break, let, uh, that guy pilot for now,"

"I obey, my Lord," the now off-duty pilot said before rapidly spinning around similar to the ship while "walking" towards the crew quarters.

".... Anyway, back to the matter at hand,"

*Meanwhile, back at the back water world*

The boy spoken about before sat at his desk, staring at the clock above the classroom door waiting for it to go faster in order for him to leave the school as soon as possible.

"Come on... come on..." he somewhat whispered under his breath.

"And I just want to remind you all that I will be teaching summer school this year, and it's not too late to sign up!" The teacher informed the class.

"Yeah right," he replied, under his breath so the teacher wouldn't hear him. Then the school bell rang allowing the students to leave for the summer.

"Yes! Outta Here!" He said aloud.

"Everyone, have a good vacation, and I hope to see you all again in the fall," she said as her students walked out of the classroom. But before the boy could leave, his teacher called out his name.

"Benjamin, could I have a word with you before you go?" She says as she holds up a familiar paper airplane. Ben huffs and walks over to her desk, looking rather grumpy.

Some time later, another boy is being bullied by two other boys, one who's somewhat tall, slim with black hair, while the other was a little shorter than him, chubby with brown hair and glasses.

"Normally, we'd take your money and beat you up. But since it's the last day of school, we're going to give you a break. Now fork over the cash, so we can get out of here," Cash, the black haired boy told his victim.

"Leave him alone!" Ben said behind them.

"Get lost, shrimp" J.T. the brown haired boy replied.

"I said back off," Ben reiterated.

"Oh, looks like we got us a hero. Suppose we don't wanna back off?" Cash questioned.

"What are ya gonna do about it, Tennyson?" J.T. asked him.

The three stare at each other for a short bit, with the stare being broken off by Ben running at the two, yelling...

Some time after that, both Ben and the bullied kid are hung up on a tree branch by their underwear.

"Thanks a lot," Jamie, the bullied boy, said sarcastically.

"I was just trying to help," Ben replied.

"Next time you wanna play hero, make sure you can back it up," Jamie told him.

Before either of them could say anything else, an RV pulls up with an old man driving it.

"Come on, Ben, let's go! We're burning daylight. I wanna make it to the campsite by nightfall," the old man informed him.

"Uh, Grandpa? A little help here?" Ben asks as he still hangs on the tree branch from his underwear.

After he helps his grandson off of the tree they both enter his RV.

"I have -so- been looking forward to this!" Ben exclaims. Before he says anything else he notices a red headed girl sitting down at the table inside the RV.

"What are, YOU doing here? What is SHE doing here?!" Ben asks both the girl then his grandpa.

"Take it easy, dweeb. This wasn't my idea. Somebody convinced my mom that 'going camping for the summer would be a good experience for me'," she said.

"Grandpa, please, tell me you didn't..." Ben says

"I thought it would be fun if your cousin came along with us this summer. Is... that a problem?" their grandpa asks.

Not long after their conversation the RV heads off on their trip.

"Aw, I can't believe it. I waited all school year to go on this trip, and now the queen of cooties is along for the ride," Ben says aloud.

"Hey! I had my own vacation already all planned out too, you know?" She says before pulling out her former vacation schedule.

"Each activity is color-coded, so I never do the same thing two days in a row," she says, as she shows a surprised Ben.

"Now, I'm stuck with my geekazoid cousin going camping for three months," she told him.

"Geek," he replies.

"Jerk," she responded in kind.

"Something tells me it's gonna be a long summer..." the grandfather said to himself as he drove out of their city.

Some time later they arrived at a campground, where the grandfather made some food for the night.

"Chow time!" He says as he puts down a bowl of wriggling worms, much to both cousins' disgust.

"Okay, I give up. What- is that?" Ben asks his grandpa.

"Marinated meal-worms, hard to find them fresh in the States. You know, they're considered a delicacy in some countries?" He informs them.

"... And totally gross in others?" the girl asks before one of the worms plops off the bowl onto the table in a loud manner.

"If these don't sound good, I've got some smoked sheep's tongue in the fridge?" He informs them.

"Urgh. Couldn't we just have a burger or something?" He asks as the two cousins smile at their grandpa, possibly in hopes their cuteness would convince him.

"Nonsense. This summer's gonna be an adventure for your taste buds. -I'll grab the tongue," he tells them before walking back into the RV.

After he went inside Ben went up to his cousin and asked, "Okay, I got a half-eaten bag of corn chips and a candy bar in my backpack. What'd you got?"

She replied, "Some rice cakes and hard candy."

"Think we can make them last the whole summer?" He then asks as they both start sulking together.

*Meanwhile, somewhere nearby, but in space*

The red ship continues its chase of the small teal ship, always firing at it until it gets one lucky shot causing severe damage to the ship.

"Their propulsion systems have been destroyed," the lieutenant informed the captain.

"Prepare to board! I want the Omnitrix, now!" The captain orders his crew.

Not too long after he gave his orders, the damaged ship fires one last, desperate, but devastating blow the the red ships bridge, nearly killing the captain. The red ship responds by firing a devastating laser at the ship, destroying every part of it excluding the section with the bridge, making it permanently adrift. After the final shot the teal ship sent out a pod towards the planet closest to them. After this, unbeknownst to both the teal and red ships, a hidden third ship locked onto the pod and sent a star-fighter-like ship along with it.

"The Invis-Fighter Drone has been sent and is currently by its side," the new pilot informed the captain.

"Good, now have it fire the micro hacker at the sphere," the unknown being ordered.

A transmission was sent to the drone which then locked onto the sphere that came out of the pod. It then fired a small device that was able to phase into the sphere, directly hitting the item inside.

"We have made contact, sending new programming over," one of the crew members said.

"... Download complete, adding necessary additions to the Omnitrix... memory core expanded... advanced replicators added... blessed machine parts added, machine spirit capabilities are now possible... additional entity roster expanded, non-DNA based beings and lifeforms are now viable targets... magic based safe-locks added... additional mechanical safe-locks added... anomalous based safe-locks added... Mekhanite tech added... Rotom Dex added, don't know why that's necessary... bio-mechanical downloading capabilities added... and finally anti-virus software added, we're done, we are done!" Another crew member informed the captain.

"Excellent! Now order the device to phase out of the sphere so the Invis-Fighter Drone can catch it!" The captain quickly ordered.

After receiving its final orders the device phased out of the sphere where the drone was able to catch it.

"... Status report," the being asked.

"... Sphere on course to interact with the main biological target, all programming and additions have been added successfully, mission is a success, I repeat, mission is a success!" Another crew member informed the being aloud.

"Ahhh, and now we wait to see if this is either a failure requiring some time warping, or a complete success requiring a time lock... Hover near the drop site," the captain ordered.

*Meanwhile, close to where the drop site will be*

Ben is currently sitting on the ground playing a handheld gaming device with his back facing his cousin while she does the same but with her laptop. While they're sitting on the ground their grandpa comes out of the RV holding a bag of marshmallows.

He looks at the two of them and then asks, "Who wants to roast marshmallows?" But gets no reply.

"Okay, um... How 'bout we tell scary stories?" He then asks.

"Scarier than having to spend a summer with your freak of a cousin?" Ben asked, laughing to himself.

"I'd like to, Grandpa, but I'm busy doing a web search on cures for 'extreme doofus-ness'. Nothing yet, Ben, but let's not give up hope!" She replied to grandpa.

"Aww, come on you two. We're all in this together. You can mope around like this all summer, or we can have some fun. Now whadd'ya say?" He asks them.

"I vote for moping," she replied.

"I'm gonna take a walk. Smell ya around, Gwen," he told the two of them before he set down his device and then walked into the woods.

"I, uh, think they're starting to grow on each other," the grandpa said to himself.

Some time later, Ben is walking through the forest with his hands in his pockets, moping about.

"Aw, man. This is gonna be the worst vacation ever. I might as well have gone to summer school," Ben says to himself. After he said this, Ben could hear something shooting across the sky, and after looking up believes it to be a shooting star.

"Whoa, a shooting star!" Ben said aloud.

But as if the shooting star was alive, it too seemed to take notice of Ben, considering it immediately turned towards where he was standing on a direct collision course towards him.

*Gasp* Ben gasps and then starts to yell as this "shooting star" crashes on the ground, causing a shock wave sending Ben a fair distance from its crash site. After the dirt and smoke clears, Ben sees the crater around ten feet in front of where he was laying. After he gets up he walks towards the crater and is soon standing at its edge looking down at what appears to be some sort of glowing sphere.

"Looks like a - satellite or something," he said before the sphere stopped glowing. Due to where he was standing the ground broke away causing him to yell and fall into the crater. He gets up and is given a better view of the metal sphere which then begins to open, revealing a small glowing green device inside.

"... A watch? What's a watch doing in outer space?" He asks himself. After he said this, he smiled and started to reach inside the sphere. Before his hand could make it inside the sphere, the "watch" rips itself open and jumps at his left wrist, nearly instantly attaching itself to Ben’s wrist.

"Ahh! Get off me! Get off, get off!" He yells as he tries to shake off the device. No matter how hard he tries to shake it off it simply sticks on, and as he tries to rip it off all he succeeds in doing is falling down to the ground a third time. After his few attempts fail he climbs out of the crater running towards the campsite.

"Grandpa!" He yells, while at the same time, if one had super duper hearing, you'd might be able to hear someone say something along the lines of "Ladies and gentlemen, we got him", while back at the campsite his grandpa starts to worry a little about him.

"Hm. Ben's been gone a while. Well, I guess he can't get into too much trouble out here," he says.

"Unless he wound up bear food," Gwen responded, which caused her grandpa to turn around to her.

"Hey I can dream, can't I?" She then asks.

Meanwhile in the woods, Ben tries to pry the Omnitrix apart from his wrist with a stick, but the stick breaks making him somewhat angry. He falls to his knees in defeat, and starts fumbling with the device. He accidentally hits a button on it and its face-plate springs up.

"Woah."

He glances around the woods and then sees the face-plate's hourglass morph into a diamond encasing a black silhouette.

"Cool!"

Ben looks down at the face-plate, and his eyebrows raise before pressing it back down. Ben suddenly finds himself in a void, crimson rocks spreading across his skin, transforming him into something else. He emerges from the void, now a burning rock monster, a slim one at that.

"Ahhh!" He screams, in a slightly higher pitched voice than you’d expect.

"Ahhh! I'm on fire! I'm on fire!" He yells again as he runs around a little.

"Hey... I'm on fire --and, I'm okay!... Check it out. I'm totally hot! He-hehehe" He jokes and then laughs to himself. He then looks behind him at a tree that has done nothing wrong.

"Oh yeah," he says as he takes a stance, "Uh huh, here goes!" He continues as he then fires a fire bolt at one of the tree branches, blowing one off.

"That's what I'm talking about," he says as he creates a larger fireball using both his hands.

"Liking it!" he then says before throwing the larger fireball at even more trees. But only after he threw the fire ball did he then realize his mistake, shooting fire at multiple dry trees during the summer, which then caused a forest fire.

"Wait! Stop!... Uh oh," he then tries to stomp out some of the fire on the ground with his foot, which happens to be made out of fire, giving the expected results of only making a small patch even bigger.

"Oh man, I am gonna get so busted for this,"

Meanwhile back at the camp, as Gwen is walking out of the RV, she notices smoke off in the distance. "What's that?" She asks her grandpa.

He stands up from his seat and answers, "Looks like the start of a forest fire. We better let the Rangers' Station know. Probably some darn fool camper out there, messing around with something he shouldn't." He then pauses before he and Gwen both come to a realization.

"Ben!" He realizes. He quickly opens a camping-kit and grabs two fire-extinguishers, passing one to Gwen. "Better take this," he tells her. They both then run into the forest towards the smoke overhead.

Back to Ben, he's still trying to stomp out fire with a fiery foot.

"This would be so cool, if it weren't so-- not cool!"

A couple feet away from him Gwen is putting out as many fires as she can, and eventually sprays a patch of fire that shrieks out in pain causing her to notice a slim, if not feminine looking fire monster, who also turned around to see her.

"... AHHAHH!" Gwen yells out loud.

"Look, I know I look weird, but there's no reason to be scared-" he says before Gwen hits him in the head with her fire extinguisher knocking him to the ground, then starts spraying his head as he tries to get up, temporarily putting out his flamed head.

"Hey! *cough* *cough* *cough*,"

"I don't know what you are- but you'll stay down there if you know what's good for you!" She told the creature.

While staying down, Ben motions to her shoe, setting a small flame on it with a chuckle.

"Ow!" She says as she hops around on one foot eventually putting out the flame.
"Don't even think about it, freak."

After that comment, Gwen came to a realization, "...Ben? Is that you? What happened?" She asked him.

"Well, when I was walking, this meteor fell from the sky and almost smudged me, except that wasn't a meteor or a satellite, but this cool watch thing that jumped up onto my wrist, and when I tried to get it off, I suddenly was on fire, only it didn't hurt when I was accidentally starting this mega forest fire," he answered.

After his explanation, their grandpa came running towards Gwen.

"Gwen, are you alri- What in blazes?" He said, sounding both alarmed and confused.

"Hey, grandpa, guess who?" She said as the fiery creature started to wave at him.

"It's me, Grandpa!"

"Ben?! What happened to you?"

"Well, when I was walking, this meteor-,"

"Erm, excuse me? Major forest fire burning out of control, remember?" Gwen reminded everyone.

"What do we do?" Ben asked.

"... Backfire. Start a new fire and let it burn into the old fire. They'll snuff each other out. Think you can do it, Ben?" Grandpa asked him.

"Shooting flames? I can definitely do,"

Both Gwen and grandpa run back towards their campsite while Ben runs the opposite way finding more trees some distance away, then shoots them with a blast of fire, causing a new blaze. Some time later a Yosemite park ranger comes to find the forest fire, but only being greeted with a burnt out forest.

*Meanwhile, around where the space battle ended*

Above the Earth, the red ship stayed around the remains of the teal ship, with its bridge badly damaged, and its captain incredibly mutilated, slowly recovering within a stasis tank, but still alive.

"What do you mean it's not there? This battle nearly cost me my life! --And you say the Omnitrix is no longer on board the transport?" The alien captain asked his robotic lieutenant between pained breaths.

"Sensors indicate a probe was jettisoned from the ship, just before boarding. It landed on the planet below," his lieutenant responded.

"Go! Bring it to me," the wounded captain ordered a shadowy robotic figure to do, which then started to walk off.

*Back at the campsite*

The trio are sat around a campfire eating marshmallows, where Ben had just explained how he became a flame monster.

"And you say that this watch "just jumped up and clamped onto your wrist"?" Their grandpa asked as Gwen threw a marshmallow for Ben to catch, with said marshmallow catching on fire in his fiery hand.

"Hey, this time it wasn't my fault," he said before he threw the marshmallow into his mouth, "I swear!" He then added, with a marshmallow stuck to his molten mouth.

"I believe you, Ben," he responded.

"Think he's gonna stay a monster forever?" Gwen asked.

"He's not a monster, he's an alien," he said, while then getting some inquisitive looks from his grandchildren. "I-I mean, look at him. What else could he be?" He then added.

"Yeah, I don't wanna be 'fire guy' forever. How am I supposed to play Little League this fall if I charcoal the ball every time I catch a pop fly?" Ben asked.

"Don't worry, Ben. We'll figure this thing out," his grandpa responded. But before anything else could be said the symbol and his chest started to beep and flash red. After the fifth beep his body lets out a blinding light towards Gwen and grandpa. When they open their eyes, Ben is standing in front of them, human and all... But, there were a few things, off, about him. Looking at his hands, he only felt elated to be back to being human again.

"Hah! I'm me again!" He said in an unusually higher pitched voice than usual.

"Uh, Ben, was your hair always that long?" Gwen asked.

"Huh? What do you mean? I'm pretty sure my hair is shor-," Ben began to say but then noticed that his hair was a fair bit longer than it should have been.

"Oookay, this is weird, and, hey, my voice sounds a bit off too. Oh no, am I still some sort of alien? Do I have any scales, am I still on fire somewhere, do I have fur all over my body?" He asked them as he frantically looked around his own body.

"Ben! Calm down, there's nothing else abnormal about your body, maybe this device accidentally changed your appearance a little. The hair can be cut, and your voice will probably go back to normal, after all you just changed back from that fire alien form," his grandpa reassured him.

"Y-You're probably right, although it would suck if I had this kind of voice for a long while, heh, it kinda makes me sound like a girl..." Ben said, having a bad feeling forming in his gut.

Before his grandpa or cousin could respond, Ben suddenly spoke up again, "Uh, excuse me for one second, I have to go to the bathroom," he said as he ran back to the RV.

"Ben, wait!" his grandpa asked, but Ben was already inside.

"... Uh, grandpa, is Ben a-,"

"AHHH!" Ben yelled in a very high pitched voice, interrupting Gwen, worrying both her and their grandpa.

Both Gwen and her grandpa got up and ran towards the RV, but before Gwen could get in her grandpa stopped her and then told her," Gwen, stay out here for now it's probably best I make sure he's alright, especially if what happened is what I think it is."

To this, she simply stood outside the door worried for Ben, waiting to see if he has changed in the way she thinks he changed into.

*Ten minutes later*

All three now were outside by the campfire, with Gwen eating marshmallows while Ben sat across from her with slightly teary eyes. Their grandpa was pacing around the fire while pondering what to do with the situation at hand.

He then came to a conclusion for the moment and said to them," Ben, I know you're going through a hard time right now, but if we're going to try to fix this then you're going to have to try to not mess around with that thing anymore until we know exactly what we're dealing with. I'll go check out that crash site, you two stay here until I get back."

After he left towards the direction of the crash site both Ben and Gwen sat there in silence until Gwen spoke up," Sooo, how are you feeling?" She asked Ben.

"Like a scared little girl," he replied.

"Oh, well, I guess that makes sense considering you're-"

"Please don't remind me that I'm a girl now, in fact, please don't talk to me for the rest of the trip,"

"What? I'm just saying that you're a girl now, it's not like that's a bad thing,"

"Well, to me it's the worst thing that has ever happened to me in my life, with the second worst thing being you joining us on our road trip,"

"Hey! Being a girl is anything but bad, I would know since I've always been one! Maybe if you stay as a girl for a long while you'd see what being a girl would be like."

"Ugh, I hope that won't happen, I can barely stand being a girl right now, but for any minute longer is just, just, I don't even want to think about it!"

"Don't you think you're overreacting a bit too much Ben?"

"How would you react if some weird watch that fell from the sky suddenly turned you into a boy, huh?"

Gwen thought for a few seconds, probably imagining herself in her cousin's shoes, then answered," I'd behave exactly how you're acting right now."

Meanwhile back at the red star ship a pod shoots out of it, crashing down into the Earth landing deep into the woods, next to the pod that held the watch. The pod opens quickly revealing it to be a giant droid sent to retrieve the contents of the other pod. After scanning the pod, finding that the pod is empty, it fires a laser beam at it destroying it. It then ejects two probes from its shoulders so it could cover more ground in its search for its masters prize.

Some time later, Ben went behind the RV away from Gwen as he tried to fiddle with the watch.

"Come on, there has to be a "boy" setting on this thing somewhere," he said to himself as he continued to fiddle with the watch.

"Caught ya!" Gwen said as she spooked Ben from his side, laughing.

"Hehehe, very funny. Like your face," He said after mocking her laugh. He then continued fiddling with the watch.

"Grandpa said not to mess with that thing," she reminded him.

"Yeah? So, what's your point?"

"Did your parents drop you when you were a baby?" She asked as Ben was biting the face-plate of the watch, for some reason.

"Oh, like you wouldn't try to turn yourself back to your normal self if this happened to you."

"Well, yeah, but randomly messing with it could probably turn you into something worse than your normal self, or another alien thing."

"Better to be a cool fire dude rather than a lame, dweeb-like girl."

"You mean fire girl? When I first saw you as that thing, that alien was clearly a female one."

"Whatever..."

*Meanwhile, at the crash site*

Max arrived at the crash site, he saw another smaller crater next to the bigger one but thought it was just another part of the original impact. He climbed into the main crater and found the sphere that Ben informed him about had been blown to bits. He leaned down and picked up one of the fragments so he could inspect it more closely.

"I don't like this one bit," he said to himself.

*Back at base camp*

Both of them had gone back to the campfire and were still talking to one another about the watch.

"Look, even if I don't turn back into a boy right now, I could probably use this thing to help people. I mean, really help them. Not just, you know, make things worse," he told Gwen as he fiddled with the watch.

"So, what did it feel like going all alien like that?" She asked him.

"It freaked me out at first. It was like I was me, but it was also like I was somebody else-" he replied just as he got the face-plate to pop up.

"Finally, now we're getting somewhere!" He exclaimed as he started to turn the dial, checking out every one to see if any looked like him as he should be.

"Ben, you probably shouldn't try anything new with that thing. If I were you, I would do anything to turn back to me, but even so I still wouldn't go so far as to turn into something different again," she told him.

"No duh, you wouldn't," he said before he slammed his hand onto the device activating it.

He starts to morph into a new creature, growing orange fur and claws with gills at the sides of its neck, and after his transformation is finished he lets out a tenacious roar.

"Ew! This thing's even uglier than you were normally! Pow, wow, put a flea collar on this mutt!" She told the now mutt Ben, who just roared in response.

"And no eyes? What good is this one? It can't see!" She says, as she comes to a realization, looking at her perfectly swing-able marshmallow stick in her hand, giving her an idea that causes her to smile.

She silently moves behind Ben, blows into each of her hands and starts to wind up for a blow to the beasts behind. But before she swings, Ben's gills open up, warning him about her similar to how radar works. He then dodges her attack by jumping up into the air and then on top of the RV, where he managed to smile smugly at her.

"Okay, so maybe this one isn't a total loser, and I can't really tell if this form is a boy or a girl," she says before Ben flips off the RV landing in front of her, slobbering.

"Ew! Two words: 'breath', 'mints'," she informs him, to which he responds by turning around, kicking dirt at her, and then runs/slings away into the forest.

"Get back here! Ben! I'm gonna tell Grandpa that you turned into some freaky-animal-monster-thing and went swinging around the forest when he told you not to!... -Oh, this is a majorly weird day," she says to herself.

Ben continues to swing around the forest, swinging and jumping from one tree branch to another, he suddenly stops in a tree to have a quick look around him. He senses something nearby start to shoot at him. He then jumps from tree to tree dodging the lasers being shot at him. He eventually gets out of its sight, causing the drone to try to search for him again, but then he jumps from behind it where it tries to react to him but it's too late when he lands on top of it, biting off its laser arm. It tries to shake him off and crash him into trees but to little effect, where Ben then rips off the drones head leading it to blindly fly into a straight line towards the side of a cliff. As it gets closer to the cliff the symbol on Ben's left shoulder starts to beep and blink red, signifying he's about to turn back to a human. Before it crashes into the cliff side he jumps into some bushes, almost immediately turning back as the drone crashes into the cliff. He gets up and looks at the side of the cliff where the drone crashed.

"Yes!" He exclaimed victoriously, but then looked at his body.

"Aw man!" He said finding out that he's still a girl, but before he could do anything else a second drone arrived looking down at him with its laser arm.

"Oh, not good..."

Before the drone could do anything to Ben Gwen hits it with a shovel knocking it to the ground.

"Ugh! Back off Sparky! No flying tree-trimmer is going to hurt my cousin!" She says before she whacks it in its head a few more times.

"Never thought I'd say this, but am I glad to see you," Ben told her.

After Ben spoke the drone began to spark and then caught fire, the two then ran away from it before it exploded running back to the RV. Some time later their grandpa comes back after he inspected the crash site and was informed by Ben and Gwen what they had just gone through, and by doing so Ben essentially admitted to disobeying his orders about not using the watch, which of course would lead to a scolding session.

"I was worried that you might get popular with that thing on your wrist. That's why I asked you not to fool around with it until we know what the heck it is. It could have made your current situation worse, maybe by aging you up, or de-aging you, or even making your condition permanent," he scolded.

"Sorry, Grandpa... I just really want to return to normal, I'd rather stay as an alien rather than a girl, I just had to try and fix this. But at the same time at least I figured out how to make it work. All you do is press this button. Then, when the ring pops up, just twist it until you see the guy you wanna be. Slam it down, and bammo! You're one of ten super-cool alien dudes!" he informed him.

"You mean "super-cool alien girls"? That fire one seemed rather feminine to me, who's to say the rest aren't girly?" Gwen teased.

"Hey, that one wasn't THAT girly, and even you said you couldn't tell if the hairy one was girly or not, so maybe the rest aren't girly too, and could probably turn me back into a guy, unlike the last two I turned into," he explained.

"Okay, since you'd prefer to be one of those aliens than a girl then what about staying a "super-cool alien dude" and not transforming back into a girly girl, or worse, your usual plain old pizza-face?" She asked.

"I- kinda haven't figured those parts out yet," Ben said glumly.

With that all said and done, their grandpa started thinking and came to a conclusion, "With a device as powerful as that watch clamped on you, my guess is we better help you learn, fast, especially if there's a way to turn you back to normal."

"Alright!" Ben exclaimed.

Right after their conversation the radio in the RV picked up a call from a panicked man,"*Mayday! Mayday! Somebody help us! We're under attack by some sort of - I know you're not going to believe me, but… robot!*"

"Sounds just like those things that attacked me. Must be looking for the watch. Those people are in trouble because of me! I think I can help them," he said.

"Er, you? What are you gonna do about it, Ms Tennyson?" Gwen asked.

Ben looked down at the watch, checking it over, then looked back at Gwen with a smirk on his face.

Not too long later the three are running towards the main campgrounds of the park where a robot is attacking the campers. They stop in the woods while Ben goes to activate his watch. Before he does so he looks to his grandpa, who nods in approval allowing him to try another transformation.

"Yeah," he said after activating the watch.

"Eenie, meenie, miney... Here goes!" He says as he presses the dial transforming into another alien. Crystals then envelope his entire body, leading to some sort of humanoid crystal like being.

"So what can this gal do?" Gwen asked.

"I don't know, but I bet it's going to be cool. Also, this one isn't-" he begins to say but then gets a better look at his transformation, checking out how slim the body is and the noticeable chest he now has.

"*sigh* Okay, yeah, this one's girly too," he admitted glumly.

At the main campsite people are running around trying to avoid the giant robots rampage as it blows up another RV. The three run up to the campsite where they see the robot destroying another RV.

"Looks like papa-robot this time," Ben said, then continued talking,"I'll get Gearhead's attention, you guys get the campers to safety."

Grandpa nods in agreement, motioning Gwen to follow him so they could evacuate the other campers. Ben's eyes glow, and he runs towards the giant robot as it grabs the Park Ranger, as he's helping one of the campers left behind, with the others running off screaming.

"Leave him alone! You want somebody to pick on? Try me," Ben tells the robot.

As he was talking the robot scanned Ben, identifying the target it's been looking for on his chest... The watch, not the chest. The robot drops the Park Ranger and blasts Ben away. He lands in an RV, which the robot also immediately blows up. Ben is underneath it, but manages to cut himself out with his arm which he turned into a blade. He examines his arm and form spikes all over it.

"Cool," he says to himself.

The robot starts walking towards him. Ben's eyes glow and he decides to test out his new blade arm and attack with it. The robot jumps in the air to avoid it, spinning its three legs and falling down on to Ben, trapping him underneath itself.

"Uh-oh. 'Think I'm in trouble."

Meanwhile both Gwen and their grandpa help the Park Ranger off the top of his totaled car while civilians run around with fires everywhere caused by the robot.

"What is going on here?" The Ranger asks the two.

"You probably wouldn't believe me if I told you. Now come on," Gwen told the Ranger.

The ranger hesitates as Gwen and her grandpa run off, but runs once the giant robot throws Ben into his car, just barely missing him. As Ben is dodging various laser blasts a stray one hits a tree, causing it to fall down exactly where Gwen is standing. The tree is about to crush a wide eyed Gwen but is suddenly split in two by Ben who formed a crystal spike on his back, which was able to split the tree. Ben then retracts the spikes into himself.

"So, we even?" He asks, referring to the moment she helped him with the second drone from before.

She nods and says,"Even."

The robot then suddenly grabs his entire body with one hand.

"Uh-oh," he says as it lifts him up into the air.

It grabs his left arm and tries to pull his arm off, but he responds by turning his left arm into a spiky bladed arm, which destroys the robot's left hand. The robot then raises Ben further up and then fires him away into a small building using the laser gun on its palm. Elsewhere his grandpa helps Gwen on top of a fallen tree so they could get a better view of the fight. They see a destroyed building that Ben crashed into while the robot walks towards it to continue their fight.

"Ben!" He yells out worried.

Ben gets up from the ruble and forms two blade arms, which he then uses to block the next laser blast from the robot. As he does so, the laser blast at first spreads everywhere, being redirected by his reflective crystal body. Ben notices this as he's knocked down by the force of the laser. He then gets back up and gets up in front of the robot.

"C'mon! Burn one in here!" He taunts the robot, motioning it to fire at his chest.

"Get out of there. Run!" His grandpa yells.

The next shot fires and Ben holds his palms up to it. He is still pushed back by it a little, but he forms spikes on the bottoms of his feet helping him stay in place, allowing him to get the hang of reflecting the robots lasers.

""What comes around, goes around." Let's see how you like it, ya techno freak!" He yells.

Ben cuts the giant robot in half with the reflected laser blast, causing the upper half to explode while the lower half falls to the ground, then explodes too.

"All right!" Both Gwen and their grandpa yell out in excitement.

"Way to go Be-...um -- Diamond-headed gal!" Grandpa yells, stopping himself from saying Ben's name aloud so the other campers who were still nearby wouldn't figure out who the Diamond-headed gal was.

"Oh yeah! Who's bad?!" Ben said excitedly as he jumped up and down. "Yeah!"

Both Gwen and her grandpa silently motion to Ben that there's still a group of campers nearby. After he notices them, they both facepalm themselves while his grandpa shakes his head in embarrassment.

"Well, I... think my work here is done," he says, then jaunts away from the group into the forest.

"Who was that chick?" One of the campers asked aloud.

Both Gwen and her grandpa tiptoed away to avoid giving any info about who she was or what was going on. The rest of the campers noticed their disappearance and simply shrugged their shoulders.

*Meanwhile, up in space at the red star ship*

The ship's captain still floats in his healing tank as his ship undergoes repairs after the battle he was just in. Unfortunately for him he just discovered that his droids have failed in their mission.

"Failure?! Unbelievable! The puny Earth being that is keeping the Omnitrix from me- will soon hang on my trophy wall!" He said through pained breaths.

*Back at Earth, in the morning*

Both Gwen and her grandpa are packing up the camping supplies while a certain someone doesn't seem to be nearby.

"Where's Ben?" He asks, looking around.

"I Haven't seen him since breakfast," Gwen replies.

He then hears a distant sonic boom, before its source immediately appears in front of him in the form of a blue and black dinosaur looking alien.

"Ben?" He asks the thing.

"Yep. -Hey, check this out!" He says as he then packages up the remaining camping supplies back into the RV in less than four seconds.

"Pretty fast, huh?" Ben asks, but before he could get an answer, he turns back into his human self, but still female.

"Aw man, I'm beginning to think turning into these aliens won't turn me back to normal any time soon," he laments to himself.

"Don't worry Ben, we'll just have to keep testing this thing out, at least until something or someone comes up to help us out with this thing. We'll also need to train you in your alien forms just in case we get more unwelcome visitors," he informed his grandson, now granddaughter.

While Ben was still peeved about being a girl, he still had hope that this was only a minor setback in his summer road trip.

"Yeah, well anyway, despite my current "problem", I think this is gonna be the best summer ever," he said.

"Absolutely," his grandpa replied.

"It's definitely going to be interesting. So, where'd you go anyway?" Gwen asked him.

"Just had to take care of a couple of things before our vacation really got rolling," he informed her.

*Meanwhile, back at his hometown*

Two boys were dangling from a tree by their underwear, giving them an atomic wedgie, something they'd given to many other kids around the school.

"Dude. How'd we get up here?" Cash asked J.T.

"Uh, I'm not sure. It all happened so fast," he replied

"Hey, somebody? Anybody? Little help up here, please!" Cash asked anyone who could hear him.

*Meanwhile, in the darksteel star-ship*

"HA! Based, they deserved that, really all bullies should be bullied, or something. I don't know how to end bullying, I just know that bullies deserve to be trampled by a stampede of bulls, if only for the irony," the captain of the darksteel vessel said aloud.

"Anyway, anything new to report? Anyone aware of our presence, or are there any glitches with the Omnitrix?"

"Everything is as you desired my lord, there are no glitches, and the beings you've mentioned haven't shown up, neither now, then, or later," a crew member answered.

"Excellent, now activate the time lock from the beginning of the battle to now."

As a few crew members were working on a time lock, a beeping noise was being made by a computer being operated by a crew member.

"Incoming transmission my lord."

"Answer it, it shouldn't be a spam or scam caller, I've brutally murdered those rats, along with their families, some time ago... In a video game."

The crew member answered the call, and on the front bridge window the skies of Earth were replaced by a cold, metal room with one lone metallic being sitting on a throne.

"Ah Anon, I'm glad you could answer, I've just received the notification that you've told me about and I was wondering when I can make use of it?" The metallic being asked the captain.

"Wait about a year, she rarely kills her targets so you shouldn't have to worry about losing anything for your collection, and once there are fewer eyes on her, you'll be able to do whatever you wish to do, as long as it doesn't interfere with my plans," Anon informed him.

"But of course, why would I inconvenience my greatest benefactor? There is no reason to worry, I'm quite busy right now anyways, so I'll contact you again either when the time comes or sometime after."

"Good, now if that's all, I have a few other tests I need to get to as soon as possible."

"But of course, I wish you a good day, Mindslaver."

With that conversation over, the metallic being ended his transmission, leaving the bridge silent once again. Not long after one of the crew members working on the time lock spoke up.

"Time lock complete, my lord, we are ready for your further orders."

"Good, let's head to the other few realms, we must start my other plans immediately."

"We obey," all crew members on the bridge said aloud as they prepared the star-ship to leave the dimension.

Before they took off, the captain Anon stood up from his throne and walked out to the bridge windows. He looked below his star-ship at the RV below, the same one that Ben and her grandpa and cousin were in.

"Farewell Ben, see you in maybe eight years or so. I don't know, just don't die, that wouldn't be very cash money of you now would it be?... Why haven't we left yet, we're short on time!"

Just as he said that, the star-ship immediately jumped out of existence, into God knows where, leaving Ben to her own machinations in this corrupted timeline.

Chapter Text

The RV the trio were driving in had been driving several miles by the time they reached a certain destination their grandpa had in mind. They had arrived at another fairly forested area, but this time they were near a small lake with a few notable boulders in the area.

"Uh, grandpa? Why are we in this area? I thought we were heading straight to Washington D.C.?" Gwen asked him.

"We are, but we need to do a few pit stops every now and then and Ben needs to test out the rest of his transformations that he has, and I thought this area would be the best place to test them out. A nice secluded area with a small lake just in case Ben transforms into another fire alien, and this lake hasn't been used for fishing or anything else for years so there won't be any onlookers. Also this area isn't well known for having any game for hunters to even bother hunting in this area, only the odd squirrel or flock of birds," he informed them.

"Cool! I've already tried four of the ten transformations already, now it's time to check out what else I've got! And hopefully turn back into a guy and STAY as a guy," Ben said as he started checking through his transformations.

"Now Ben, while we're out here to test through your transformations if there's one that seems too dangerous to use even by looking at its silhouette, you should probably not use it just in case it causes something bad like the end of the world," his grandpa told him.

"Or worse, turn you back into a mega dweeb," Gwen said jokingly.

"Yeah, yeah, I'll be careful, none of these other six ones looks like they'll destroy the world, well, except for this one maybe," he said as he selected a transformation and slammed down on the watch.

He was engulfed in a green light forcing his grandpa and cousin to shield their eyes from him for a second. When they looked back he turned into a tall, big, red, four eyed, four armed alien.

"Cool, red isn't exactly my favorite color, but I definitely make it look cool," he said as he looked at his arms while he flexed.

"Yeah, it looks powerful, but it also looks rather, feminine," Gwen said with a smirk.

After hearing that Ben looked down over this transformation's body and noticed a few details that would make this one look feminine. First, while the body was buff, it wasn't insanely so and could even be considered thin, if only to other members of this mystery species. Second, he had short but feminine hair, styled in a clean short cut almost similar to Gwens hairstyle. Third, he had boobs.

"AH!" Ben yelped in surprise as he used his four arms to cover as much of his feminine body as he could.

"AW COME ON! Can't I have more than ONE transformation that isn't all girly?!"

"Don't worry dweeb, you still have that mutt form that no one could tell is a girl, and at least the diamond headed one and the fire one don't look as girly as this one. The blue dinosaur thing though, I noticed a lot of feminine features on that one," she teased.

"Pfft, whatever, well I better check out what this one can do for the next ten minutes," he said as he started stretching his four arms.

Looking around he saw a few of the boulders his grandpa mentioned before, and since this transformation had muscly four arms the gears in his head started turning. He walked over to one of them and easily plucked one out of the ground. He started juggling it around in his hands and started holding it easily with one hand. He then effortlessly picked up three more boulders and started juggling all four in his four hands.

"Now that's impressive Ben, although I didn't know you were so good at-" his grandpa started to say before all four boulders were accidentally sent flying by Ben, one going through multiple trees, another crashing into the lake, a third flying deep into the woods, and the final one crashing right into his face causing several newly formed pebbles to go flying everywhere in front of him, thankfully not in front of his family or the RV.

"-... Juggling," he then finished saying.

"I was going to say something about you being a clown since you seemed to be good at juggling, but not even the lowest ranking circus would take you in after a performance like that, assuming any talent seekers survived your auditions," Gwen said mockingly.

Ben slightly shivered after the mention of something, then proceeded to check out his body. After feeling over his face and other parts of his body he sighed a breath of relief and held out his two left arms towards the two of them and then gave them two thumbs up.

"I am not injured whatsoever," he said in a confident tone.

"Well, now we know this transformation is not only super strong but also super durable, it'd be very handy in a fight with another one of the robot things, or most other things really," he said, not realizing the pun he just said.

"Yeah, so far this one's really cool, and since it's strong and durable, then maybe..." he said, as he started to squat down.

Ben then jumped up into the air with all his might, leaping high into the air.

"WOOHOO! THIS IS AWESOME! I COULD SOMEWHAT FLY WITH THIS ONE!" He yelled out before he started to fall almost as fast as he had flown up.

"Uh-oh," he said as he started plummeting.

As he started falling down, both grandpa and Gwen looked at each other and then started running back towards the RV. While Ben was falling faster to the ground, he started to think that maybe he'd start growing wings since this was an alien after all. But after he didn't feel any wings growing he quickly tried to think of something else and then remembered the lake not too far from where he jumped at. He tried to use all his might to somehow reach the lake, but gravity was using all of its might to make his fall faster.

"AGH! CURSE YOU GRAVITY!" Ben yelled as he hit the ground, forming a crater.

After everything and everyone nearby shook due to Ben's crash, grandpa and Gwen both left the back of the RV and slowly went over to where Ben had jumped, finding the crater he had made. After the dust settled they found Ben stood up dusting himself off. After he noticed them, he struck the same pose before with his thumbs up and said,'' Still not injured whatsoever!"

"Great going doofus, not only could you have hurt us, but you could have alerted anyone else who happens to be out here with us, or even worse, hurt someone else out here with us!" Gwen told him.

"Don't worry Gwen, there shouldn't be anyone else out here for miles, but she is right about us getting injured Ben, be sure to be a bit more careful next time you want to try out something,"

"Don't worry grandpa, I've learned my lesson, I won't accidentally squish you, Gwen on the other hand..." he said coyly.

Before anyone could say anything else the symbol on his left shoulder started blinking red, eventually leading to Ben turning back into himself, or in this case much to his disappointment, herself.

"Well darn, I'm still not back to normal yet, better luck next go,"

"Don't worry Ben, while you may not be back to your normal self yet it's more than likely still possible to turn yourself back," he told him.

"And if it does, then there's a chance that the next time you use it while you're normal you'll turn back into a girl," Gwen then said.

"I... Did not think about that..." Ben said, in a dejected manner.

There was a brief awkward silence after that, to which their grandpa then decided to end said awkward silence.

"Why don't I bring out some of the snacks we got at the last gas station we stopped at? I know you guys want to get into all of that beef jerky, chips and soda, but that alligator jerky I got from the store close by tastes just about the same, if not better!" He said to them, to which they responded with a few giggles.

Ten minutes later the watch had recharged while he was in the middle of enjoying a soda on one of the remaining boulders.

"Alright! Now let's see here, the other five don't look like they'll cause some massive damage,"

"Ben, maybe you should let me have a look at them before you-" his grandpa was trying to say.

"Except for this one," Ben interrupted as he chose another transformation.

A blinding green light enveloped Ben again causing the other two to shield their eyes, again.

"Ben! would you listen to grandpa Max for at least longer than a sec-" Gwen began to say but was interrupted not by Ben, but by what his transformation looked like.

"Hmm, pretty big hands, I'm also pretty tall, and my voice sounds like my voice, well, my current voice in this girly body but also with a static over it. Maybe this is some sort of super cool alien robot with incredible strength and could maybe fly? Well, my four armed one already has strength covered, so I'm hoping for flight with this one, and maybe lasers. And you know what? Four Arms is a great name for the last transformation, don't you guys think?" Ben asked them.

"Well, it's a good name for the other one I suppose, but more onto this one, those are some great ideas Ben but let's see if this one can do any of those things, or anything at all," Max told him.

"Wow, talk about an hourglass figure," Gwen said aloud.

"Okay grandpa, let's see what this can- wait, hourglass figure? What's that supposed to mean? Is that some sort of geek joke I'm too cool to understand?" Ben asked Gwen.

"No you doofus, I'm talking about your proportions!"

"My what? You're still not making any sense,"

"Ugh!" She exclaimed as she walked up to Ben, grabbed his big hand and dragged him over to the lake while Ben curiously allowed her to do so.

Once at the lake she gestured to him to look into the lake to see the full form of his transformation. Ben still didn't quite know what she was talking about but realized that this form not only had boobs, but a butt to match.

"... Well this sucks," Ben said to himself, realizing he has yet another transformation that anyone can point out and say ' Wow, that is a female, or at least looks like a female in our human standards'.

"Oh now I see it, but why was that the first thought that came to your mind Gwen?" Max asked her.

"Because I'm always looking for ways to embarrass him,"

"Yeah well, you're still a geek Gwen, anyway let's get back to what this thing can do, please?"

After their short little spat Ben tried to use this transformation in any way he could, he tried to fly but simply made himself flat and slowly fell to the floor. They quickly realized that this transformation could alter its body and form. He was able to liquefy his body and shape-shift his hands into maces and the like. After testing these abilities for four minutes they decided to take some mental notes on this transformation's current abilities.

"So far this one can shape-shift its body in almost any way it wants to, and with the self liquefaction you could sneak into all sorts of places," Max noted.

"Yeah, this one's pretty cool, but I feel it can do more than all of that," Ben said as he walked over to the RV.

"Hey grandpa, mind if I have a quick soda break? I'm pretty sure I won't turn into a puddle if I have some, I think," he said as he grabbed the door handle.

But rather than gripping the handle Ben's hand merged with it and was spreading over the door and parts of the RV. Realizing what was happening Ben quickly pulled his hand off of it, fearing he may have damaged it.

"Huh, I wonder," he said as he started to throw his body at the RV before Max or Gwen could tell him not to.

Before they knew it Ben had merged with the RV turning it into a black and green one that started hovering above the ground. Both Gwen and Max looked on at the transformed RV in awe, walking up to it to get a closer look. As they approached the RVs door slid open allowing them to get a look inside.

"Woah, now this is super cool, no joke," Gwen said aloud.

"I know, right?" Ben said as he popped his head out from where the radio would be.

While the outside of the rust bucket was clean and smooth, the inside was doubly so, with seemingly everything looking new and polished. The microwave, fridge, driver seat, radio, and even the bathroom had been given an upgrade of sorts.

"I must admit Ben, you've done a mighty fine job of treating the Rust Bucket well,"

"If only you could stay as a, whatever this thing is, then we would be riding in style for the rest of this trip,"

"I know, I know, I'm awesome, now buckle up and let's see what the Rust Bucket is REALLY made of," Ben said as he closed the door to the Rust Bucket.

Gwen excitedly sat down on her usual seat where both the table and seats were upgraded, with the seats being more comfortable and the table now able to display a holographic view of the RVs exterior. Grandpa Max was a little more uneasy with the whole ordeal but decided to sit down in the driver's seat and test out the Rust Bucket, if only to help Ben understand his transformation better. The steering wheel was replaced with a more joystick apparatus which Max was able to understand well. He started moving the RV around a little while Gwen checked out the holographic map. As soon as Max stepped down on the gas the Rust Bucket instantly started rising into the air at breakneck speeds, all the while both Max and Gwen were relaxed in the RV, unaffected by the movements.

"It looks like if we ever need to make a quick getaway all we need to do is have you turn into this machine-like alien, merge with the rust bucket and simply fly off," Max told them.

"I have to hand it to you Ben, you managed to pick out an alien that either didn't stink like a dog, or set fire to the nearby forest," Gwen said as she messed around with the map.

"Like I said, I'm awesome," he said, as both Gwen and Max were fidgeting with their respective controls accidentally activating something.

The three heard something being fired off of the Rust Bucket heading straight for a large tree they passed by not too long ago. When said object connected with the tree, it instantly blew up into countless millions of splinters, leaving nothing but a crater where a tree once stood.

"... Uh, I guess we're all to blame for that, ha ha, but let's not mess around with any more of these car controls before we accidentally nuke the nearby city," Max told them.

"By the way, Ben, how long have you been transformed for?" He asked him.

"Oh, ummm.... I don't know," he said as the familiar sound of him transforming back into a human started beeping.

Max quickly steered towards the ground where they were last parked at and put the pedal to the medal. They quickly arrived at where they were a moment ago with not a second to spare because as soon as they landed Ben detached from the Rust Bucket and instantly turned back into a human. But unfortunately for him, he was no closer to becoming an excuse for me to be able to call him a him.

"*sigh*, why am I not surprised that I'm still a girl? Whatever, now I'm going to get that soda I was originally trying to get," he said glumly.

Both Gwen and Max exited the car confused as to why they aren't feeling air sick in any way while Ben drooped right past them to get a soda. But Ben's luck still hasn't turned for the better because as he brought out a soda and opened it, it instantly splashed into his face. Gwen giggled to herself while Max headed back into the RV to get a towel for Ben, he just shrugged and continued to enjoy his drink.

Ten minutes later the watch was ready to be activated again, but this time grandpa Max made sure to be by Ben's side so he could help make sure nothing unexpected would happen.

"Now then Ben, let's try one that looks a little less intimidating, like this one," he pointed out to the one currently selected.

"Okay, let's see what this one could do," he said as he pushed down on the dial.

Just like the other times Ben was engulfed in a green light but both Max and Gwen were prepared and shielded their eyes beforehand. But when they looked around for Ben he was nowhere to be seen.

"Ben? Where are you?" Max asked as he began to take a step.

"Woah! Watch where you're stepping grandpa

Max then immediately looked down and found a small, gray frog looking kind of creature.

"Ben? Huh, I guess the silhouette made this one look a little bigger than I thought it was,"

"Of course it would appear around the same size as the other silhouetted transformations, if everyone were presented as their typical size compared to one another then you would require a microscope in order to find this one upon the playlist of transformations. But at the same time considering this is the only transformation so far to be at this size then it would be simple to deduce that if the screen appeared with no visible transformation then it would be safe to assume that it would currently have this form selected, obviously,"

".... Well, uh, when you put it that way I suppose it is, uh, obvious,"

"Looks like this one's power is that it tends to run its mouth off for way too long," Gwen told them.

"Well I thought I was being rather intelligent about the matter, unlike a certain bipedal female humanoid,"

"... Okay, there's definitely something going on with your mouth since you never knew about the words "bipedal" and "humanoid" before,"

"Gwen may be onto something Ben, perhaps this alien is super intelligent,"

"Hmm, perhaps, or this form is an excellent linguistic type of species, or this transformation somehow allows me to use the full capacity of my brain because as you may know the human species is unable to-"

"Okay we get it, this alien is really smart, although, wait one second," Gwen told them as she ran into the Rust Bucket.

She then came out holding her laptop and then setting it right next to Ben, turning it on. After she typed a little, she shoved it to Ben.

"Here's an online test I've been wanting to try out, let's see how you fair at it," she told him.

After checking through the test for about a second, Ben began typing as fast as a small gray alien frog could type.

"Aaaand send,"

"What? You couldn't have finished it already," Gwen said as she took back her laptop.

"Of course not, I simply hacked the host website to immediately give myself a pass since it would of taken me too long to pass it conventionally since this keyboard is far too big for me, also I hacked your laptop to change it to GwenIsAGeek123,"

"Wha- You- Why you... Oh, by the way, I also brought out a hand mirror so you could see yourself," she said with a smirk as she held it up to Ben.

"AAAHHH! MAMMARY GLANDS!" Ben yelled out as Gwen started laughing.

"... Well, at least they're not too big, BAH! WHY DO I HAVE TO BE A FEMALE! What's causing this device’s malfunction?! The gender sequencer must be set on the reverse setting causing an infinite loop of code to reprogram my original genetic makeup to that of the opposite gender... Probably," Ben said to himself just before the watch started beeping again.

After a flash of red light, Ben was again back to his un-true female self.

"Ugh, the last three better not be girly in any way,"

"Either way, I think we're making progress Ben, now let's get a small fire going, I still have plenty of marshmallows to go around," Max informed them.

Ten more minutes later Ben was able to transform again, and again grandpa Max was at his side helping to decide which one to go for next.

"Hmm, how about this one next? It doesn't seem to have any claws that I can notice, and it doesn't look like a ghost," Max pointed out at one of them.

"Sure, now let's see what this one can do,"

After pressing the dial the same process continued to which both Gwen and Max were now used to. This transformation had four insect-like pincer legs, four eye stocks, two arms with three fingers on each hand, two insect-like wings, and a tail with a shield shaped stinger. Ben began to look over this transformation's body, noticing the wings and finally getting excited about being able to fly. At the same time he discovered that his body was somewhat slimmer than he imagined, with boobs, but definitely smaller ones compared to most of the other aliens, except for the gray frog one.

"At least this one isn't too girly, and it looks like this one can fly!" Ben said as he began to fly into the air.

He flew over the trees, the lake and started doing stunts in the air such as flying upside down, spinning around and such. After enjoying the view up in the sky for a few minutes he flew back down to the ground.

"This one doesn't seem too tough but at least it can fly, but I wonder is it can do anything else?"

"Here's one other thing it can do, smell really bad, even worse than your usual self, barely," Gwen said mockingly.

"Yeah whatever, what matters is that I can fly and you can't, so *ptuh*," he said as he attempted to spit at Gwen's feet but managed to spit out a large amount of goop at her feet from his eye stalks.

"Ooh! I can shoot loogies from my eyes, cool!"

"Gross!" Gwen replied as she tried to shake off the goo on her shoes.

After some more testing with this alien Ben eventually turned back to a normal human girl, much to his distaste. Another ten minutes came and went and Ben was again ready to turn into one of the last two he hasn't tried yet.

"Only a few more to go Ben, now it's either the one with claws or the one that looks like a ghost, I'll let you decide which one to choose," Max told him.

"I guess I should get the ghost one out of the way first, let's check it out,"

After selecting the alien, he pressed down on the dial and began to transform, but after the green flash of light he transformed into the other transformation rather than the one he had selected.

"Huh, I didn't mean to select this one, but I guess it doesn't matter too much,"

After looking over his body he noticed it was covered in scales. His hands were clawed, and he had two clawed toes on each foot. Walking over to the lake he looked into the mostly still water to get a better look at his body. He noticed he had massive jaws and an antenna-like appendage on the top of his head.

"This one looks a little, fishy... What, not even a chuckle?"

"I'll give you an E for effort," Gwen replied.

"This one more than likely is good for anything related with water, like lakes, ponds, rivers, seas, oceans and anything else," Max said.

"Are you sure? Because many species of aquatic life can't survive in fresh or salt water areas, depending on whether they're a fresh or saltwater fish," Gwen pointed out.

"All I know is that this one doesn't have any boobs, thankfully... By the way, is anyone else having trouble breathing?" Ben asked as he started to have breathing problems.

"Ben you should dive in the water immediately if you're having trouble breathing!" Max yelled out to him.

He quickly jumped and dove into the water and stayed low below it for a time.

"Ben? Are you alright down there?" Max yelled out.

"Maybe I was right about the saltwater thing," Gwen said aloud.

But then Ben rose up from the water high into the air but with a merman-like tail fin, and then dived back down into the water.

"Or maybe he's just goofing off in the water," she then said.

Ben began swimming closer to the top of the lake and began swimming laps from one end to the other. After several minutes of swimming he jumped back out right next to Gwen, splashing her in the process.

"Hey!"

"Well, I think it's clear what this one can do, and I feel much better after getting a nice dip," he said right as the symbol on him started to beep.

After a flash of red light he turned back into himself, and by himself I don't mean his male self.

"Still not a boy again, but at least I'm getting a chance to test out these aliens, just wish I was a boy..."

"We know already, you've been complaining about it this entire time," Gwen pointed out.

"Like you wouldn't complain about being forcefully turned into a girl if it happened to you,"

"To be fair, I'd be complaining too if I was in your shoes. But at the same time if I were forcefully transformed into the opposite gender I'd also try to experience what it would be like to be a boy, really you should try to live like a girl for once, who knows, maybe it will cure you of your extreme doofus-ness,"

"I'd rather spend as little time as a girl as I possibly can, especially after we figure out how to turn me back to normal,"

"Don't worry Ben, I'm sure we can fix this before the end of the summer, we just have to hope that whoever made this thing eventually comes by, or someone who knows how to use it. And at the same let's hope that those very same people are good guys," Max chimed in.

But Ben didn't seem to be listening at the moment, he looked almost terrified.

"Ben? You alright kiddo?" He asked.

"I didn't even think about that, staying as a girl while meeting my parents, that'll be officially the worst thing to ever happen to me. *gasp*! But there's also school! W-will I have to go back to school, tell everyone I'm someone else, or even worse, tell everyone that I'm Ben and that I was turned into a girl or something?! WHAT ABOUT THE LITTLE LEAGUE!"

"Ben! Calm down! Don't worry, like I said we'll figure this out, I promise,"

"I hope we can fix this before then..."

Ben then glumly enjoyed some jerky for the next ten minutes until the watch was able to be used again.

"Okay, one more to go, hopefully this thing won't glitch out again and pick a different alien, or worse..." He said as he chose the final alien.

This time he was able to turn into the right transformation, a white, floating ghost-like alien with one purple eye. Ben immediately went towards the lake and looked over this new body.

"Hmm, this body looks rather scary, but at least it doesn't look girly. Now let's see what this one can do!"

This time Max led Ben through discovering this alien's powers, since Ben had lost some enthusiasm after thinking about how he could be stuck as a girl for longer than he'd ever want to be. They first discovered it could fly, albeit slower than the other flying alien. Invisibility was the next power Ben was able to demonstrate, and finally intangibility was the final power they were able to discover after Ben went straight through Gwen in order to spook her.

"Seriously Ben, can you act mature when you're at least an extremely powerful alien, or at least whenever you're around me in public?" Gwen asked him angrily.

"Hmm, sure, I can do that, as soon as you stop being a dweeb, so in that case, never! Hahahahahaha!" Ben exclaimed as the beeping sound started to go off again, eventually allowing him to turn back into a human.

"At least we now know none of these alien transformations won't cause the end of the world, and while we've had a few hiccups today in going through your transformations, I'd say this was a successful training session, with only one tree casualty," Max told him.

*Meanwhile, a dozen miles away*

"ALRIGHT, HANDS IN THE AIR YOU TWO, NOW HAND ME YOUR WALLET AND PURSE!" A scrawny thief with a ski mask and a gun asked a couple as they were walking around a secluded area of a park.

Before either of them could act, a boulder came flying out of nowhere and smacked the gun out of the thief's hand, destroying the gun in the process. After all three were initially stunned by what happened, the boyfriend of the couple, who was much taller and buffer than the thief, started walking towards him cracking his knuckles while his girlfriend started smirking.

"Woah, hey man, c-can't you take a joke? Hehe, please?"

*Back at the Tennysons*

"Yeah, I'd say so too, and while one too many of them are a bit too girly for my taste, I think I'll be able to use them well in order to kick bad guy butt," Ben said with renewed confidence.

"Really you shouldn't be complaining at all, it's great being a girl, I would know, I am one," Gwen told him.

"Of course a girl like you would say that," Ben replied unamused.

"Seriously, I bet with a little training from yours truly, I'll be able to turn you into a proper girl yet, and like it,"

"I'd rather be stuck as any one of my super cool alien transformations than be a girl any second of any day,"

"Oh I'm sure you'll take a liking to it, after you're done feeling embarrassed all of the time,"

"Kids, that's enough teasing for now, let's get back on the road, I'm not getting any younger now am I?" Max interjected.

"Okay, I think I've teased Ben enough for one hour," Gwen replied while Ben stuck out his tongue at her.

"With that settled for now, let's get a move on,"

"Yeah yeah, I'm coming too, but despite everything that's happened so far, I still think this will be one of the best summers ev- WOAH!" Ben was saying before he tripped over.

"Ben! Are you alright?" Max asked as he and Gwen turned around to find Ben on the ground.

"Yeah, I'm alright, I just tripped over... my pants?" Ben said confusedly, as he looked down at how his pants were around his ankles.

While Gwen started laughing, Max turned around so he could give Ben a little privacy.

"AH! Why'd my pants fall down?!"

"HAHAHA! Oh, I don't know, maybe it has something to do with the fact you have a new female body that probably changed in clothing size along with your gender," Gwen told a blushing Ben.

"Oh, uh, that reminds me, our next pit stop will be at the nearest shopping mall since we need to get you some new clothing Ben," Max told them.

"What? Why would I need new clothing? All I really need is a belt so my pants wouldn't fall down again," he said as he pulled his pants up.

"You need new clothing because we don't know how long you're going to be a girl for, and if we meet anyone outside of our planned trips that we know personally we'd need a good explanation for who you are rather than just telling them that you're Ben who was turned into a girl by a powerful alien watch from space, and part of that explanation would be for you to dress differently than your normal self," Max explained to him.

"But why do we need an explanation? Why not tell everyone that I have a super cool alien watch and that I'm basically ten superheroes in one kid? "

"Because one, telling everyone about this could lead to some unwanted attention from other bad people, and two, those same bad people could then try to get to you by attacking your friends and family,"

While Ben wasn't fully convinced, Gwen decided to chime in,"Do you really want everyone back at home, including everyone at your school, to know that you turned into a girl?"

After hearing that Ben's eyes widened up as he began to think over what could happen at school if everyone else found out about his current predicament.

"Okay, let's go clothes shopping, NOW!" He said as he marched towards the Rust Bucket.

*Some time later, in a nearby city*

"Here we are, the local All-Mart, we'll be able to get some clothes here for you Ben, and this place has a great selection of outdoor supplies. If you two want, we could get some supplies first or some new clothes for Ben," Max informed them.

The three were now walking around the store, with Gwen looking rather excited while Ben was looking less enthusiastic.

"Hey, why don't you two go off and find some clothes for Ben while I go check out the camping equipment? It'll save us some time and it'll be a good opportunity for you two to get along and bond over a shared experience," he suggested.

"I'd rather-" Ben was about to say before he was cut off by Gwen.

"That sounds like a great idea grandpa!C'mon Ben, I saw the clothes department this way!" She said before she started dragging Ben off.

While Max continued towards the camping department Gwen managed to drag Ben all the way to the clothing department, with some difficulty.

"Hey! Quit dragging me around like some doll, I know how to walk," Ben told her.

"You know how to walk slowly, and besides, don't you want to get this over with as soon as possible?" Gwen asked.

"Well duh! But now that you said that while smiling, I don't think you want to get this over with just as much as I do. So why are you so giddy? Wanting to embarrass me as soon as possible?"

"No!... Okay maybe a little, but that's far from the main reason I want to do this with you. I know what it's like to try on clothes in front of others, I've done it countless times with my mom, and a few times with my dad, and those few times with my dad is the reason why I agreed for us to split with grandpa Max for now, because I know I'd hate for any guys to see me dressing up,"

"That's, surprisingly considerate of you, but at the same time that's no reason to be excited about dressing me up in whatever,"

"Well, I guess it's also because I now have a female relative my age that doesn't live on the other side of the country, there's no other family members I could go shopping with and hang out with that isn't my mom, and friends from school, who're always busy doing extra school work,"

"Ugh, of course you'd be friends with a bunch of busy geeks, but either way while I'm a girl right now I'm still a boy, and not a girly girl that likes to dress up in dresses and skirts,"

"For now at least," Gwen responded, much to Ben's disgust.

"But seriously Ben, as long as you're a girl, you need to act at least a little bit more like a girl, especially if you don't want people we know from finding this out. And there's no better way to do that than by dressing as a girl!" Gwen said giddily, as she plucked out a pink dress from a clothing rack.

"I said I'm not going to wear a dress or a skirt!" Ben said more forcefully under his breath.

"Hi there! Welcome to All-Mart! I'm Stacy, can I help you two with something?" Said person asked as she approached them.

"Uh, yeah! Me and my cousin are looking for some more clothing for her, because, as you can see, she accidentally took her brother's clothes with her on our trip rather than her own, clumsy girl," Gwen quickly told her before Ben could utter another word.

"Oh my, I can definitely see that, but don't worry, we have a large collection of clothes that you two could try out, I can help too if you'd like," Stacy offered.

"Sure, why not? To be honest my cousin doesn't have good taste in clothes, her clothing selection back at home is abysmal," Gwen told her as Ben gave her an annoyed side eye.

"Wonderful! I'll go gather up a lovely selection for her to try out," she said before she walked off to find some articles of clothing.

"... Uh, can you not try to get other people to dress me up, I can find good enough clothes to wear without any help, thank you very much,"

"I highly doubt that doofus, and besides, once she brings back whatever clothes she thinks will look good on you, you'll have to wear them, otherwise it would look suspicious and weird if you didn't try at least one dress or skirt on," she said evilly.

"I'd rather stay in the Rust Bucket the whole time and only come out to transform and kick the bad guy’s butt!"

"Well too bad, because I doubt grandpa Max would allow that to happen," she told him as she picked out another dress from one of the clothing racks.

Ben stood there glumly as he thought about the prospect of wearing a skirt while he was still a girl. After some time both Stacy and Gwen found a large amount of clothing for Ben to try on, much to his dismay and Gwen's delight.

"Alright! Now why don't we head over to the dressing room so we can see what fits and what looks cute on you!" Stacy told Ben.

"Mmmh, fine! Let's just get this over with," he replied.

Once they reached the dressing rooms, both Stacy and Gwen laid out the clothes they found for Ben to try on.

"Okay, let's see, ah here's a good set, a green skirt with a black and white striped shirt," Stacy said as she held up the two articles of clothing.

'This is going to be a long day,' Ben thought to himself.

At first, it took him some time for him to try on the first set of clothing, but before Stacy attempted to check up on Ben, he came out wearing the clothes she had given him to try. Gwen was amazed that Ben had put the clothes on and that he looked somewhat adorable in this outfit, while Stacy simply remarked at how cute he looked in the clothing. After that set he tried on a wide variety of clothing sets, including swimsuits. He tried on a one-piece swimsuit that was blue with a light blue diagonal stripe running across his torso, and another one but it was red with a yellow diagonal stripe across it. Again she took a long time putting on the next set but eventually came out wearing a green dress with a bow across his waist. This piece had Gwen gushing over her cousin over how cute he looked, while Ben wasn't able to respond in any meaningful manner due to his embarrassment. Ben had tried on many different sets of clothing, but never gave his opinion on any of them, Stacy noticed this and then walked up to Ben while Gwen was fawning over him while he was wearing a white dress with flower patterns all over it.

"Sweety, from what I've been seeing, it looks like you aren't enjoying this as much as your cousin is over there," Stacy said while she knelt down and put her hand on his shoulder.

"Yeah, if it wasn't obvious before," he replied quietly while his face was blushing red.

"I think I know what the problem is here then,"

"Uh, you do?" Ben asked worriedly.

"Yep, while me and your cousin were looking for clothes for you to try on, you didn't get a chance to pick out any outfits for yourself! So why don't you go along and find a few things and bring them back here," Stacy told him.

"Oh, uh, okay, I'll go do that, right now..." He said as he slowly walked away.

He went around the racks, looking for anything that wasn't too girly but also didn't scream out that he was Ben Tennyson. As he looked around, he thought again about his current predicament. Here he was, a girl, trying on dresses and skirts in front of his cousin and some stranger he just met today. At the very least, there weren't any other boys around gawking at him for one reason or another. While his thoughts were full of embarrassing situations he could get himself into right now, he noticed a few articles of clothing that caught his eye.

Back at where Gwen and Stacy were, Gwen was just recovering from the cuteness overload she was experiencing, and then noticed that Ben had gone somewhere else.

"Hey, where'd Be-, uh, I mean, my cousin go?"

"I told her to go pick out some other pieces of clothing since she didn't seem too happy with the ones she was trying on just now."

"Oh, I wouldn't worry too much about that, her choices of clothing back home aren't really all that good, and she should get used to wearing this kind of stuff more often because of, uh, reasons..."

"Reasons? What reasons?"

Before Gwen could respond Ben quickly walked past them with some clothing in his hands and then walked back into the dressing room he was using. Not long after he came back out wearing the clothes he had found. The set he was wearing was surprisingly close to what he was wearing before, he was wearing a black-striped white shirt with short sleeves, military green cargo shorts with side pockets, and a slip black belt which was somewhat visible under his shirt. While the set was very close to his original clothing it was all a little tighter than the rest of his clothes, making his clothes much less baggy than before.

"How's this for girly?" Ben asked them as he struck a triumphant pose.

"Oh my, while the rest of the sets looked really cute on you, this one really does look more your style. And considering the clothes you wore before are your brother's clothes I'm guessing you're both twins since you seem to share the same style," Stacy remarked.

"Uuuh yep! Me and him are definitely twins, and it's a shame he wasn't able to come with us on our summer trip, a real shame, yep, haha..." Ben said nervously while Gwen face palmed herself.

"I bet, but anyway, would you like me to package up all of these clothes or are there a few you don't want?" She asked.

Before Gwen could answer her, Ben made sure to answer her quickly before Gwen could.

"Thanks, but I think we're just going to be taking multiple pairs of what I'm wearing right now, thank you, and I guess the two pairs of swimwear, I kind of don't have the correct kind for this body, at the moment..." Ben answered with a slight blush.

"Hehe, okay I understand, let me go find some more sets of that right away," Stacy responded before she walked away.

"... If you think I'm not going to convince grandpa to buy you these other ACTUAL girly clothes then you'd better think again, doofus," Gwen told him.

"Uh-huh, sure, whatever, but good luck ever getting me to wear any of it ever again for the rest of my life, dweeb," he responded.

"I'm sure I'll come up with a few ways to convince you to wear them, oh! Before we forget, there's another type of clothes you'll need to try on," she informed him as she picked up something that was left to the side.

"What could possibly be le- oh no," he said as he looked upon the different colored panties Gwen was holding up in her hands.

"... I'm not going to let you watch me wearing them Gwen,"

"Alright, fine! But you still need to see if they fit, so get to it," she told him while smirking.

Sometime later, grandpa Max came back with some new camping supplies, and once Gwen showed him the articles of clothing Gwen and Stacy picked out for Ben, along with the ones Ben picked out himself, he happily bought all sets of clothing for Ben to wear, which caused him to sigh in defeat, hoping the clothes that were picked by Gwen and Stacy would do nothing all summer but collect dust in the Rust Bucket. While they were at the All-Mart they decided to get a bite to eat at the cafeteria that was built into the place. While Ben and Gwen were easily able to find a food shop that was selling something that they liked, Max wanted to try to find something that would fit his tastes better.

"I'm going to go find a seafood shop nearby, I'm pretty sure there's at least two or three built into this place, don't know why they're not closer to the cafeteria... Either way, after you two are done eating, head back to the Rust Bucket, I'll eat what I can at one of the seafood places and head back there myself, I'll take care of the camping supplies I got and some of the clothes, can you two take care of the rest?"

"Sure thing grandpa, we'll be sure to bring it all back with us, right Ben?"

"Huh? Oh, uh, sure, I'll help bring some stuff back, but I can't guarantee a skirt or two won't somehow burn up in flames, and if some do then, oh well, at least some might make it to the Rust Bucket,"

"Oookaaay, uh, I'll go searching now, stay safe you two," he told them as he started walking away.

While Max was gone, both Ben and Gwen continued to enjoy their meals. Gwen however noticed that Ben was still somewhat gloomy, understandably so as well. Gwen then thought that maybe she was going a little too far in teasing Ben about his current situation and then decided that she would try to make it up to him. Looking around she noticed an ice cream stand not too far away with not too big of a line.

"Hey, Ben, can you watch over my food for a bit? I need to go do something,"

"Yeah, sure, whatever,"

Gwen then sat up and went over to the ice cream stand, leaving Ben alone. One minute later, two boys a few years above Ben's age were walking by and noticed him sitting there alone. Unfortunately for Ben, he was a she at the moment and no one else except for Max and possibly Gwen could see him as anything else. Both of the boys looked at each other, nodded in agreement, then started approaching him.

"Hey there! Haven't seen you around town before, are you just moving here or something?" One of the boys asked as he started leaning on the table Ben was sitting at.

"No, I'm just passing by this town with my family, in other words, none of your business," he responded.

"Whoa, no need to be so hostile, we're just wondering, is all. Hey, here's an idea, why don't you, me and my friend here go exploring around this All-Mart, there's a lot of places we can show you around here. We can even go around town, see the sights, sounds like a great idea, right?" The first boy asked.

"I'd rather not, after I'm done here I'm leaving this place so could you please leave me alone?" Ben asked, annoyed.

"Aw come on, it won't take too long, there really is a lot of stuff to do around here, believe it or not. We could check out this place's more interesting departments, go to the local arcade, and even visit the park nearby. A lot of wide open space there with a lot of climbable trees, which provides lots of shady, dark cool places, a great place to hang out during this summer," he continued to say while both him and his friend were now on either side of Ben.

While this conversation was ongoing Gwen finished buying three ice cream cones for herself and Ben, but while she was walking back she noticed the two boys standing right next to Ben clearly bothering him. Gwen knew that while Ben was currently a girl, he'd eventually attract some unsavory people every now and then, her parents always told her about the dangers of boys, but she also realized that while her parents had such talks with her Bens parents never had any kind of talks with him, considering he was a boy before. Gwen quickly tried to think of a way to get Ben out of this situation and then came up with an amusing plan.

"Ben? Beeen?!" Gwen started yelling out.

The two boys at first ignored her but Gwen immediately perked up hearing his name, he tried to look away from her so that these two guys wouldn't take notice. While the two boys attempted to talk Ben into going out with them Gwen walked up to the three of them.

"There you are, uh, Jen!" Gwen exclaimed.

"Huh? Uh, who're you?" The talkative boy asked.

"Oh, I'm Gwen, and this is my cousin Jen, I'm sorry to break up your conversation here but me and Jen really have to go find her brother, Ben," she informed them.

'What is Gwen up to?' Ben thought to himself.

"Really? Well in that case maybe we can help you two, and after we help find her little brother we could then do a little exploring with her, after we find her brother of course," he told her.

"Oh that won't be necessary, he more than likely already went to our RV, he is her big brother after all, not too long from now he'll probably come back out looking for us, he's always so over protective, as most big brothers are," she informed them.

"Oh, uh, big brother, gotcha... And how old is this older brother? I'm just curious," he asked.

"He's about eighteen years old, he's just about to start playing football once the summer's over, our family is so proud of him, although he is a bit overprotective of us, that's just about his only fault though," she continued to explain.

"I-is that so? Well, in that case, I guess you two don't need our help then, we'll just be heading off then," he informed them as he motioned for his friend to follow him out of there.

"... I thought those guys would never leave, anyway, thanks for talking them away, although I don't know why you had to trick them to do so, but then again at least I won't be getting bullied by any other guys today. But if I did I'd have just used my blue and black alien to hang them from the park trees by their underwear, just like with Cash and J.T.," Ben told her.

"Bullying, do you really think they were just going to do some "bullying" to you?"

"Well, what else could they have wanted? It's not like I have anything they'd want from these bags of girl's clothes I've got, to be honest I'd have given it to them for free, in fact I should have offered it to them so they would stop bothering me..."

"Ugh, you know what? I'll tell you when you're older, or after you turn back into a guy,"

"Whatever, can we leave now?"

"Yeah, sure, but before we head out, here's something I got for you," she said as she handed Ben two ice-cream cones.

"Oh, uh, thanks, but why?" Ben asked inquisitively.

"Because I realize that I may have been going a bit too hard on you lately, I should of been more considerate of what you've been going through these past few days, so I'm hoping those two ice-cream cones will at least make you feel a bit better than before," she explained as she picked up most of the bags and ate parts of her own ice-cream cone.

"... Yeah, it does help a bit, so we can have a truce on the whole teasing thing, for now at least, dweeb," Ben told her as he picked up the remaining bags and ate into one of his ice-cream cones.

"Sounds like a plan, doofus," she responded.

The both of them continued on back towards the Rust Bucket while enjoying their respective ice-creams, not thinking too much about the rest of the world around them leaving those thoughts for tomorrow.

*Back at the Rust Bucket*

Max was starting to load up all of the extra camping gear he bought along with the clothes he had bought too. Around ten minutes later both Gwen and Ben came back to the Rust Bucket, both looking happier compared to when they first entered the All-Mart.

"Ah there you two are, one minute more and I would have gone back in to look for you two," he told them.

"Don't worry grandpa, there were just a few guys taking up our time for a little bit, that's all," Ben told him.

"Yeah, they were annoying too, but at the same time I came up with the perfect fake name for Ben while he's a girl," Gwen told him.

"Oh? And what might that be?" he asked.

"Jen, as in Jennifer, since Ben is short for Benjamin, and Jen isn't that far off from Ben, well, at least the shortened version isn't,"

"Pfft, I just thought you made that up on the fly, honestly I could make a better fake girl's name for me than you," Ben told her.

"Okay then, tell us what your new awesome super cool girl name will be. Wait! Let me guess, it's Doofuset isn't it?" Gwen asked sarcastically.

"Yeah yeah, give me a minute..." Ben told her as he tried to come up with a better name.

"............ Okay I give up, Jen it is then, but once I'm a boy again, you two better never call me that name ever again, alright?" Jen asked them.

"Sure can do kido," Max told her.

"Okay, I'll be sure to be careful about that in the future, Jen," Gwen told her.

"Great, now let's get out of here before those two idiots grow a grain between them and come back to bother us," Jen told them.

With that, the trio continued their long summer journey, heading for the capital of the United States of America, Washington D.C., not to be confused with Washington state.

Chapter 3: Washington B.C.

Summary:

Jen fights against her first major foe, a mad scientist with mutant animals at his command!

Notes:

Holy heck, I've had a terrible start to this year, first medical issues and then computer issues, but everything is (mostly) fixed now! And don't worry, I'm not gonna die any time soon, it wasn't that serious, it was just a lot of pain, and the computer is fixed now, so I'll be able to write more often now, and after this chapter I'll have the other stories chapter out soonish too. Either way, have a good read and leave a comment if you want!

Chapter Text

Inside a burning building a mother and her son run towards a door only to be cut off by falling, burning debris. More burning debris falls around them as they notice a larger amount about to fall on them. The mother cradles her child as he cradles his belongings, hoping somehow she could save him, but then gets saved at the last minute by someone else. The boy opens his eyes, finding their savior to be a being seemingly made of fire.

The amazed boy asks this creature, "Who are you?"

To which she responds, "I'm here to help."

She threw the debris she caught to the ground and then proceeded to absorb the fire inside the room they were in. Once she absorbed the fire she motioned for them to follow her. The boy immediately got up to follow it, happy about being rescued by such a creature, while at first the mother was slightly hesitant to let her son follow it, she too stood up and went with her son. They followed her to the upstairs hallway and then to the stairs.

"This way!" She told them, before the stairs collapsed before they could get on them.

"Er, on second thought... That way!" She tells them as she motioned toward a barred up window.

She fired out a concentrated beam of fiery energy cutting around the window creating a hole for them to escape through. Once the hole was made, she engulfed herself along with the other two in a fiery tornado bringing them outside, where the onlookers watched in shock at first, then awe as they realized the fiery creature had just saved the two people.

"I'm sure you all want to thank me personally, but really it's all in a day's work for-" she began to say before she noticed what was in the boy's hands.

"No way! A gold Sumo Slammer Card!" She yelled out as she then sat down right next to the boy.

"Where'd you get it? I've been looking all over for that!" She asked him.

"I-It was a prize inside a box of "Sumo-Smack Cereal"," he told her, while the onlookers now looked confused.

Before she could respond, the Rust Bucket pulled up nearby and honked at her where a girl sitting on the passenger seat yelled out, "Yo, Super-Doofus! The fire was just a diversion to cover up a jewelry store robbery. The bad guys are getting away!"

The creature looks at Gwen, then the cards, then back at Gwen and then says, "Er- I knew that."

As she walked towards the Rust Bucket, the kid she had just saved continued to look at her, starting to get unusual thoughts for his age.

“Bye pretty lady,” he said to himself.

Elsewhere, several people were crossing through the street when down the road a car came speeding through with two masked men inside, who had no care for the pedestrians. While they were driving away, smirking about their successful heist, the driver looked at his side view mirror noticing the Rust Bucket chasing after them. While Grandpa Max is chasing after them, he smells something burning, looking over at Heatblast whose constantly burning body was obviously burning the seat cushions she was on.

"Knew I should've bought those asbestos seat covers when I had the chance," he says matter of factly.

"Sorry Grandpa, I can't help it. I'm hot..." She told him, right before Gwen blasted Heatblast with a fire extinguisher.

"Mmh, I'd say you're more so cute than hot, Jen," Gwen mockingly told her.

"Hey! I'm not cute, I'm cool, or in this case, hot,"

"Oh I'd say most people would say you're cute, especially that boy who you rescued from that burning building, considering he was looking at your "hot" butt while you were walking towards the Rust Bucket," Gwen told her, teasingly.

"Wait, what?" She asked, to which Gwen answered by blasting at Heatblast's butt with the fire extinguisher, who then barely dodged said blast.

The Rust Bucket continued to chase after the thieves, making the same sharp twists and turns. When they were close enough, Heatblast leans out the side window and shoots a fireball towards their car, landing a direct hit causing them to swerve out of control.

"Stee--rike!" She yells out.

The robber driving the car yells out in fear as they ram into a wall. While they are recovering, Heatblast walks up to them and rips their car door right off.

"Unless you punks want a permanent sunburn, HANDS AGAINST THE WALL!" She informs them as she bends and twists their car door.

They both look at each other, and realize they have no other way of escaping this creature. But as they both get out and line up against the wall, Jen's symbol starts beeping and flashing red.

"You punks picked the wrong day to be bad-" She starts to say, but transforms back into a little girl before she could finish her sentence in time.

"-guys!" She finishes.

One of the robbers noticed the sudden change in voice and turned around, finding not some fiery chick, but some little girl where it once stood.

"Hey, it's just a kid! Get the jewels!" He yells out to his partner.

Jen, after realizing that she had turned back to "normal", told them, "Wow. Time sure flies when you're having fun! I-I've decided to let you guys off with a warning this time!"

She waves at them and then starts to leave, just as police cars arrive, surrounding them, causing her to say, "Woah!"

One of the officers gets out of his car, points his gun at the crooks and yells out to them, "Freeze!"

While the crooks were putting their hands behind their heads, Jen started saying, "They're all yours, officers! Now I know y'all want to thank me, but..."

But Jen was then interrupted by one of the officers, "Step aside, little lady! This isn't playtime!"

""Playtime"? I'm the one who captured them! It's not fair! I'm the hero! Oh, man..." She complained, while seething about being called a "little lady".

The next day, somewhere entirely different, a man knocks on a door to a house with a sign sticking out of the front wall with the name "Dr. Animo" written on it and then yells out, "Yo! Animo! I know you're in there. Open up!" But receives no answer.

Annoyed, he comes in anyway walking past all sorts of equipment, cages, and glass cases holding various animals.

"Phew! Smells like a zoo in here!" He exclaims and then continues looking for someone, not noticing someone following him from behind.

While he was observing a frog in one of the many glass cases, he then noticed someone following him, getting extremely startled by this person and yelling out in surprise.

"HOW did you get in?!" He asked him angrily.

"Pass key. I am still your landlord, remember? Maybe not, since your rent is six months past due..." He informed Dr. Animo after he adjusted his tie.

"All my funds go into my research. Now GET OUT! You're disturbing me!" Animo tells him.

He looks around the room and then says,"Hmm. Looks like you were "disturbed" long before I got here, pal! Listen, Doc, you and your furry friends are out on the street, unless you pony up the green."

""Pony up"... " Animo repeated while smirking, then picked up a frog and continued saying, "Interesting choice of phrases... You must be an animal lover! Then you're gonna love this."

He set the frog down on the ground next to him, and put a device on his chest along with a horned helmet on his head. The man paused for a second, before he burst out in mocking laughter.

"HA HAA! What's that? You a member of the "moose lodge" or something?" He asked, mockingly.

"This is my Transmodulator; phase number one. It creates and accelerates mutations at the genetic level. Observe:"

Animo twists a dial on his chest, activating his Transmodulator. Beams shoot out from its horns and to the frog on the ground, severely mutating it into a gigantic horned Frog. The landlord screams as the now giant frog swallows him full. He grunts as he attempts to escape from the frog's mouth, but to no avail.

"I'm sorry! I can't hear you. Sounds like you have a frog in your throat! Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha! Or is that - the other way around?! HA HA HA!" He jokes while laughing maniacally.

While he was laughing his mutant frog spit out the landlord, launching him towards the wall slamming into it. He fell to the floor then groaned in pain as he then passed out, covered in frog slime.

Dr. Animo pulls out a piece of newspaper, looks at it and then says, "So close to having what is rightfully mine... All I need is a FEW LOUSY COMPONENTS to finish my work!"

Almost immediately after he said this, a commercial on his T.V. came on which caught his attention.

*"-So whatever you need, from hair spray to state-of-the-art electronics, you'll find them under one roof at the grand opening of the district's newest MegaMart!"*

"Ah! Just what the doctor ordered..."

*Meanwhile, at said MegaMart*

Gwen, Max and Jen are walking down the aisles shopping, but both Gwen and Jen appear to be in opposite mood sets. Gwen looks excited while she's looking around the MegaMart for something, while Jen seems to be down in the dumps about something else. Suddenly Gwen seemed to find what she was looking for, and tried to grab Jen and bring her to whatever she found.

Jen, somewhat startled by this, pulls her arm away and asks her, "What are you doing, Dweeb?"

To which she replies, "I found something that may interest you, Jen, so I just thought I'd take you over to it..."

"... You found the clothing section didn't you?"

"... Nooo, it's something else..." She lied through her teeth.

"I'm not going to try on some more girly clothes, I've suffered enough already,"

"Aw come on! This place has a wider selection of name brand clothing compared to the All-Mart we were at that I've got to try on with you! This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity! Who knows when you'll turn back into a normal doofus, I want to savor having a FEMALE cousin for just a little while longer,"

"Well in that case, I might as well help out with your fantasies... In a billion years!"

"But we haven't even gotten matching clothing, or new shoes for you, and since we're in D.C. we need to get ourselves some patriotic sets as well, you want to show your patriotic spirit now don't you?"

"One: I'll never understand why girls like to wear matching outfits with one another. Two: I only need ONE pair of shoes, and the thing about girls wanting to have a thousand pairs of shoes is something I'll also never understand. And Three: I'll show my patriotism by kicking bad guy butt, thank you very much!"

"Come on Jen! Please? Just think about it, the two of us wearing matching dresses, having our pictures taken for a photo album, and then we'd go shopping around the mall where we'd find more stuff like purses, new bows, makeup and such. While some boys who're below our level try to flirt with us, but then some cuter guys start flirting with us, and then we plan out dates, and then we'll be the maid of honor at each other's weddings, and then live a long life where I'll be a CEO of the world's biggest tech company while you'll be married to the CEO of the second biggest company, and we'll both have children who'll follow our footsteps, and finally they'll have grandchildren who'll follow in their footsteps. *Sigh* Isn't that just a wonderful thought Jen?... Jen?" Gwen asked, seeing Jen had left some time ago.

Jen was hiding a few aisles away from where Gwen was, praying Gwen wouldn't find her where she was at. After looking around the aisle she randomly chose to hide at, she noticed it was the cereal aisle, looking around further she found the "Sumo-Smacks" cereal box with cards advertised inside.

"Sumo Slammer cards, cool!" She says to herself, but then gets an idea in her head, causing her to smirk and hum to herself.

Elsewhere, Gwen walks around trying to find Jen, but only finds Grandpa Max first holding a can who then says to himself, "Only canned octopus? Huh. I thought this store prided itself on wide selection."

"Hey Grandpa, have you seen Jen walking around?... And uh, on another note, no offense, but can we have a normal dinner for once? You know, one that doesn't involve stir-fried tentacles?" She asks him.

"I thought Jen was with you? But on that other note, heh! Nonsense. Now where do you suppose they keep the sheep's bladders?" He asked her in turn as he continued looking around.

After he asked her that, Gwen hears a familiar sound coming from behind her, at which she turns around and calls out for Jen.

"Jen?"

As she turns the aisle corner, Gwen gasps as she sees the entire cereal aisle a complete mess. She notices a shaking box and walks over to it, and picks it up.

"Oh man, another red card!" A high pitched voice yells out from inside the cereal box.

"Gotcha!" She says as she catches and pulls out Greymatter from the box.

"What are you doing?" She asks Jen.

"Uh... Looking for the gold Sumo Slammer Card? Duh."

"You're supposed to use your powers to help people, not find some stupid trading card," she tells her before the store manager walks up behind her.

"Ahem,"

Hearing him, she quickly hides Greymatter behind her back as she turns around to face him.

"Just what do you think you're doing young lady?" He asked her, obviously upset about the messy aisle.

"It wasn't me! It was my doofus cousin!" She tries to explain.

"Well someone is gonna have to pay for all this!" He informs her, as she then has her shock turn to a glare.

Some time later, there's now a large amount of cereal boxes piled inside of Max's shopping cart. As he looks at it he asks both Jen and Gwen, "So, uh, why are we buying all of this cereal?"

"Well, we would have only had to buy the one that I found the gold Sumo Slammer card in if Gwen hadn't butted in with her big butt!" Jen answered, much to Gwen's annoyance.

"Hello? You were trashing the whole cereal aisle just to find some stupid piece of cardboard!" She refuted.

"Jen, now I can appreciate how much this card means to you, but don't you think you're getting a little --obsessed?" Max asked him.

"Maybe you're right, Grandpa. I don't deserve a gold Sumo Slammer card. I mean, it's not like I rescued a bunch of people from a burning building or anything like that!" She said aloud, sarcastically.

"Superhero guilt? Pretty low," Gwen responded, as she then walked away with their grandpa.

"Hey, whatever it takes," he plainly stated as they continued through the store.

While they were walking around again, Gwen came up with a vengeful, but beneficial idea, at least for her.

"So Jen, since you're clearly unable to look after yourself, I think I should be in charge of leading you around (especially towards clothing shops and departments), don't you agree Grandpa?" She asked him while trying to look at Jen with a smug look, only to find that she had ran off again.

It didn't take long for Gwen to notice where she ran off to, seeing her walking towards a Sumo Slammer card display.

"Whoa. Sumo Slammer cards; a complete set!" She exclaimed.

Both Max and Gwen just looked at her, but Max then told Gwen, "Let's check out the pet department."

"Please tell me you aren't looking for our breakfast..." she said, reluctantly walking along with him.

While the two of them walked away, Jen continued to stare at the card display obsessively, and then says to herself, "Someday you'll be all mine."

Suddenly, the whole store begins to shake, catching Jen's attention, while several people can be heard panicking around the store, Jen walks up to a wall with several T.V.s for sale, all of which have started only showing static. Once she hears and feels the sound of whatever is causing the store to shake, she jumps out of the way just in time for something crashing through the wall, destroying every T.V. Jen looks back to see a giant, horned frog walking through the hole in the wall with a man on top of it.

"Woah!" Jen exclaims.

The man jumps down from the frog and starts taking some electronics around the electronics department.

Jen, watching this, stands up and asks him, "Hey, what do you think you're doing?"

To which his frog responded by shooting out its tongue at a tower of boxes right next to Jen, knocking it over on top of her, burying her.

She immediately gets out of the pile kneeling on the ground when Animo walks up to her and says, "Don't be a hero, kid. Just run along and play."

Jen looks down at her watch, still glowing red from its recent usage, and says, "You are so lucky I can't go hero."

Animo smiles and mounts his frog again while two security guards run towards him.

"Freeze!" One of them yells.

"Get down off that giant...frog and put your hands up!" The second security guard demands, bewildered.

Animo simply smiles and hops away on top of his mutant frog.

"Uh... We've got a grab and dash in electronics. Male, 5'6, riding on top of a giant frog, or toad. Trust me you can't miss him!" The second security guard yells over his radio.

Meanwhile in the pet department

Gwen was checking out a cute hamster, while Max was looking over his shopping list when suddenly Dr. Animo arrived in front of them on his mutant frog startling them both. Animo activates his mutating ray, firing out a beam almost towards them. Max pushes Gwen and himself out of the way, but the beams still hit their intended target, a hamster and a cockatiel. The two animals mutate into monsters, bursting out of their cages and start staring menacingly at the two of them.

"Ariiise to your full potential my pets!" Animo yells aloud.

Jen runs over to the pet aisle and stops before Animo and his new mutated bird, he then notices Max and Gwen running and screaming while the giant mutated hamster jumps on top of one of the aisles, roaring at them.

"Aw man, what kind of pet food are they selling around here?" Jen asks aloud.

The three are united again while Animo gathers his new small mutant animal army lined up beside him.

"Behold the genius of Dr. Animo. Nothing can stop me from getting what I deserve. Mark my words! Today I will make history, or, should I say... prehistory!" Dr. Animo monologues to them.

"If you didn't go cereal diving, one of those heroes could be saving us from becoming hamster chow," Gwen scolds Jen as she looks down at her recharging watch.

The three of them gasped as the mutant hamster roared and took a step in front of them, preparing to pounce. The three then start running away as the hamster starts to chase after them down the aisle. It leaps towards them, causing Jen to look back and scream, only for it to go just above her head, causing her to fall down, the mutant then cornered both Max and Gwen. Jen looked back down at her watch which was still charging, then looked around and found a scooter nearby giving her an idea.

"I don't need to go hero to stop an overgrown fur-ball!" She says as she quickly walks towards the scooter.

Jen throws a football at the giant hamster, getting its attention, and then starts to drive away on the scooter. The giant hamster chases her down a random aisle, and manages to catch up with her. It leaps for her but Jen manages to swerve under it and it then lands on a shelf it knocks over. Jen uses the shelf as a ramp and jumps over the hamster, which jumps at her and tries to bite her but misses and lands in between two other shelves. Jen lands on a shelf next to one of the shelves the hamster is in between and knocks it over, causing two shelves to fall on the hamster, trapping it.

"Jen!" Both Max and Gwen yell out for her, but then notice she managed to capture the monster.

"Uh-huh! That's right! Not even giant hamsters can mess with Be- er- Jen Tennyson!" She yells out in triumph.

Dr. Animo then arrives on his mutant frog and yells at her, "Young fool! You cannot stop me! I will turn Washington D.C. into Washington B.C.!"

He jumps off his frog and onto his giant bird which then flies through a glass skylight, while his frog jumps through the same skylight following its master.

The store manager from earlier walks up to Jen and says to her, "You saved the store! If there's anything I can do to repay you, anything you want!"

Jen peeks back at the gold Sumo Slammer card display, begins to grin and starts to say, "Well, now that you mention it-"

Before he could ask for anything Max picks her up and takes her away towards the entrance.

"Grandpa?! I was finally gonna score the gold Sumo Slammer card!"

"No time for that now, Jen. We have a giant parrot to follow," he informs her.

Jen looks back at the store manager, then dejectedly walks along with Max, but while they were walking away Gwen paused for a moment, got an idea in her head, then smiled wickedly and quickly walked towards the store manager and starts talking to him, "Excuse me, sir!-"

Some time later, Max started chasing after Dr. Animo in his R.V. and started reminiscing, "Ah, just like the good old days, before I retired."

"So, exactly what kind of plumber were you, Grandpa?" Gwen asked him.

"Er, yuh- a darn good one!" He quickly replies.

Hoping to change the subject, he notices Jen sitting glumly in the shotgun seat and asks her, "Uh, Jen, what's the matter?"

"I save an entire Megamart from being a giant hamster's chew toy, and what do I get? Nothing. It's not fair..." She tells him.

"Being a hero isn't about others knowing you did something good, it's about you knowing you did something good. Being a hero is its own reward,"

"What? Were you reading the greeting cards at the Megamart?"

"... Well yes,"

Gwen gasps at her laptop and starts to tell them, "Bingo! Five years ago, Dr. Animo was a promising researcher in veterinary science. But it turned out he was doing all these twisted genetic experiments where he was mutating animals, and when he didn't win some big prize called "The Verities Award", he flipped out. Anything about this sound familiar, Jen?"

Jen angrily looks out her window while Gwen smirks at her. Max tries to continue following Animo but he eventually flies in a different direction from the street.

"We've lost him. He could be going anywhere in Washington D.C." he tells them.

"Or "Washington B.C."..." Gwen replied.

After hearing that, Jen came to a sudden realization.

"*gasp* That's it! I know where he's going! The Natural History Museum!" She tells them.

Some time later they arrive at the museum and find a broken down wall and a giant feather, which Jen picks up.

"Something tells me we're on the right track. Good thinking, Jen!" Max tells her.

"Guess even a doofus can surprise you once in a while," Gwen says aloud.

"And you should know!" Jen says mockingly.

While walking past many fossils and exhibits, Jen finds an opened box labeled "M Mart Electronics". In front of them they find Dr. Animo modifying his machine next to a mammoth exhibit, he stops and realizes that the three people from the M Mart are now there with him.

"You are very persistent. I HATE persistent," he tells them.

"We all know about you and your 'freakazoid' experiments, Dr. Animo! It's over!" Jen tells him.

"Oh, but it's only just begun! See, I only needed a few components to push my work into phase two: the reanimation of dormant cells," he informs them.

Jen, confused, asks aloud, "Er, does this guy come with subtitles?"

"Breathing life back into that which has been long since lifeless. Observe!" He explains further as he activates his device.

Animo turns the dial on his transmodulator twice and he shoots out two beams at the mammoth he was right next to, bringing it back to life. It lets out a trumpet sound as it steps down from its pedestal towards Max, Gwen and Jen.

"Behold the genius that is Dr. Animo!" He yells out before running away from them.

"Now would be a really good time to go hero..." Gwen tells Jen.

"No duh! You guys get Animo, I'll take care of 'Jumbo'," she tells them.

Jen slams down on her watch, transforming her into a giant red being with four arms, while Max and Gwen gasp at her enormous size.

"Let's wrestle!" She says and then runs towards the mammoth.

She grabs its tusks and trunk and tips it to the ground. While Jen keeps the mammoth busy both Max and Gwen run towards where Animo escaped to. On their way they come across the giant parrot from before, stopping them in their tracks. Gwen looks at the caveman exhibit next to them and takes the wooden spear from its hands and starts twirling it above her head. She then hits the parrot hard on its head with the spear, breaking it after the second hit, and causing the bird to run away.

"Jen's not the only one with skills," she says as they continue walking while Max has a surprised look on his face.

They eventually catch up with Animo, who smiles at them as he then activates his device, shooting it at a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton. Meat and skin start forming and wrap around its bones, and a light lights up its formerly bare eye socket. It takes a step off of its podium and bellows out a loud and mighty roar at the two of them.

While this was happening Jen continued her fight with the mammoth. The mammoth threw her into a wall and then started charging at her. Jen gets back on her feet and runs at the mammoth, then punching it in the trunk. Jen grabbed at the mammoth's tusks which allowed it to lift her up into the air, having her crash down on another dinosaur skeleton.

"You are going DOWN, 'Peanuts'!" She says, as she's upside down on the ground.

The mammoth charges at Jen while she lays down with her hands on the floor, ready to pounce at the mammoth. Once it was close enough she quickly got up and grappled its trunk and started spinning around so fast that its legs weren't able to touch the ground. She eventually lets go, letting it hit a wall causing a large amount of debris to fall on top of it, also knocking it out.

"OooOoh, I think I'm gonna hurl..." She says as she tries to hold back her hurl while she tries to find a safe spot to hurl.

Max and Gwen dodge the T-Rex's tail while Animo begins to ride away on it.

"I'd love to stay, but I need to claim the award I so richly deserve," he tells them before his T-Rex crashes through one of the museum entrances, destroying it in the process.

While they watch him escape with his new monster they hear a bird cry behind them. After they turn around the giant parrot snatches Gwen from the ground and starts carring her, causing her to gasp and then scream.

"Jen!" Max called out to her.

Almost immediately she ran though one of the holes in the wall and started chasing after the bird, jumping extremely high up in the air. After she left, Max noticed a piece of paper on the ground and picked it up, finding out Animo must've dropped it. Soon Jen caught up with the parrot and grabbed ahold of its back feathers, startling it.

"No "bye-bye" for you!" She tells the parrot.

The bird then shakes around in the air, causing the feathers Jen was holding onto to pluck causing her to fall off. While she was falling off her symbol started to beep, and after she crashed into the street creating a crater, she turned back to human. After she climbs out of the crater she sees the bird still flying off with Gwen.

"GWEN!" She yells out.

Once the bird and Gwen were out of sight, Max pulled up to Jen in the R.V. and asked her, "Somebody call for a taxi?"

After Jen got into the Rust Bucket, Max drove off as quickly as he could towards where Gwen was being taken to. While the parrot was holding Gwen by her backpack, Gwen started to mockingly repeat what her parents told her before she went on this trip with her grandpa and cousin, "'Spend a summer with your grandpa, honey. It'll be an adventure,'"

While this was going on Animo continued to march through the city with his T-Rex, crashing and stepping on buildings, destroying them. After it crashed through one particular building the T-Rex somehow managed to get a gold Sumo Slammer card stuck in its toes.

"Ah, I do love my work," Animo says to himself.

Elsewhere the parrot brought Gwen to the Washington Monument, holding onto her by her backpack, perched on top of the monument. While hanging around Gwen gets an idea and reaches for her cellphone.

"Well, my mom said only use it in an emergency... ehh, I guess this qualifies!" She says to herself before dialing in a number.

Max and Jen continued through the city, looking for the parrot and Gwen.

"No sign of beak breath!" She informs him.

"There can't be that many places for a parrot the size of an elephant to roost. Here, look at what Dr. Animo left behind," Max tells her as he hands her a piece of paper.

Jen reads off the paper aloud, "'Dr. Kelly accepts Verities Award', he's gonna finally pick up his award! We gotta stop him!"

"First thing's first, we have to find your cousin,"

Immediately after he told her that, his car phone began to ring. They both noticed Gwen's name on the small screen.

"Gwen!" They both yelled in unison.

"Hang on Gwen, we're coming!" Max says to the phone.

Back at the monument, the bird leaves Gwen barely hanging onto the spike of the monument.

"I can't hold on much longer! Ah!" She tries to inform them through the phone, before the phone slips out of her arms, falling down right in front of where Max and Jen just arrived.

"Oh no, Gwen’ll be next!" Max says.

Jen looked down at her watch as it then fully recharged and said, "Not if I can help it! It's Hero Time!"

Jen slammed down on her watch again, transforming into his bug-like alien, then taking flight. After transforming Gwen started to lose her grip on the spire, and then began to fall, screaming as she fell. But soon Jen was able to snatch her out of the air.

"Gotcha!"

"Huh?" Gwen says surprised she's now flying.

She looked up at Jen and said, "Butterfly!"

"Stinkfly!" Jen corrected.

"Yeah, whatever. Anyway thanks for the save... *gasp* Incoming!" She warns Jen as she notices the giant parrot tailing them.

"Hold on!" Jen tells her.

Max sees the parrot trying to grab at them in the air and rushes towards the monument.

"Woah! Watch the nails there, Polly!" Jen yells out at the parrot as it continues its assault.

"Oh, I think I'm gonna be sick..." Gwen tells Jen.

"Spew on me, and you'd better learn to fly, quick," she responded.

Back at the monument, Max managed to reach the top of the stairs, panting, he says to himself, "Like it would've killed the Founding Fathers to install an elevator,"

After seeing the parrot still trying to attack both Gwen and Jen, he runs towards the window. Once there, he motioned for Jen to notice him, helping Jen understand his plan.

"I can't shake cracker-breath, you're gonna have to trust me," she tells Gwen.

"Trust you?!" She asked.

Before they could talk again, the parrot began to attack again, causing Jen to act quickly, flying down quickly allowing Gwen to float in the air momentarily. Before she could fall further Jen swooped back up above her and grabbed onto her shoulders. Jen eventually maneuvered herself towards the monument, managing to get above it, right where grandpa Max was.

"Come to grandpa," Max said calmly as he waited for Jen to hand Gwen off to him.

"NOW!" Jen yelled as she then successfully handed Gwen off to Max.

While Max was still holding onto Gwen, the bird came back flying towards them, still having a grudge against Gwen because of her attack earlier. But before it could get any closer to them Jen came flying up above it, tackling it, causing it to momentarily crash into the monument. Jen then kept a hold of it and finally threw it towards the ground, winning the fight.

"Go! Stop Animo, we're alright," Max tells her.

"Ugh, speak for yourself..." Gwen groaned.

Jen nodded, and flew away.

Meanwhile at Kelly Industries, Dr. Kelly shows a group of his VIP's his recent trophy while giving them a tour, the Verities Award.

"And here is my Verities Award. Of course, it was an honor just to be nominated with a distinguished group of scientists, hehe," he informed the group.

Kelly and his VIPs soon feel the ground shaking, and notice the shadow of a large beast heading straight towards the building that they're in. The T-Rex crashes through the glass wall with Dr. Animo on top of it.

"Kelly! I believe you have something of mine," he tells him, as he then jumps off his dinosaur and grabs the award.

"I'd like to thank the committee for this honor!" He tells the non-existent committee.

The T-Rex starts walking towards Dr. Kelly, and as Dr. Animo climbs back on top of his dinosaur, it begins to take a bite out of him while it roars. Before it could Jen swoops in and smacks against the dinosaur, drawing its attention towards herself. They both face off for a second, while the T-Rex gets the upper hand and swats Jen away using its tail. Jen was flung at a wall and crashed on the floor, but after she recovered she noticed something to her left in some rubble, a golden Sumo Slammer card.

"Whoa, I struck Sumo Slammer gold!" She said to herself.

"Somebody help me! Ahh!" Kelly yelled out while the T-Rex grabbed him by his suit using its mouth.

Jen looked at the T-Rex and then back at the card, and said, "Oh, man! This hero stuff ain't easy."

She then rushed towards the two doctors and dinosaur while the Sumo Slammer card was then buried under more rubble. The T-Rex throws Kelly into the air as it then opens its mouth to catch and eat him, but Kelly was plucked from the air by Jen, saving his life.

"What are you, you little pest?!" Animo angrily asked her.

"I'm Stinkfly, and I'm here to kick some tail!" She answers as she drops Dr. Kelly off.

Animo begins shooting his mutating ray at Jen, while she dodges it and gets closer to him. Once she gets to him she shoots her slime at the T-Rex, distracting it. She then goes in to punch Animo, but misses and hits the award instead, knocking it out of his hands.

"NO!" He yells as he tries to grab at it.

He fails as it falls to the ground, shattering. Before he could grieve the loss of his award for long, Jen grabs onto his helmet and pulls it off his head.

"My Transmodulator!" He yells out.

Jen then throws it to the ground, which causes it to send out a wave that starts de-mutating Animo's creatures. The T-Rex starts to have its flesh and skin melt away while he was still on it, turning it back into a long dead fossil.

"No, no, NO!" Dr. Animo yells out as his former monster then starts to crumble beneath him, causing him to fall.

Back at the Washington Monument, the mutant parrot is confronting both Max and Gwen, but just as it was about to attack them, the de-mutating wave hit it just in time causing it to transform back into a harmless bird, which then flew up to Gwen landing on her arm that she held out for it.

"Don't even try to kiss up to me now."

In the morning, the police arrived and began to arrest the crazed Dr. Animo.

"Let me go! I deserve that award! I've got it coming to me! I want it!" Animo yelled out as he was getting pushed into the police car.

After hearing his latest tirade, Jen walked closer to the police car and said aloud, "For some reason, that sounds kinda familiar..."

Later, while the three of them are back on the road:

"I didn't get that gold Sumo Slammer card, but at least I snagged a trophy from Animo!" Jen says aloud as she places a piece of Dr. Animos Transmodulator in a box.

"Plus, I guess saving the city from 'Dr. Wacko' was its own reward," she continued.

"Don't forget you saved me, too. Thanks," Gwen thanked her sincerely.

"Yeah, well, that's what we heroes do best: Rescue dweebs"

"Oh! That reminds me..." Gwen said as she got up from her seat and went to where they usually sleep.

She came back with a box and told Jen, "Remember when you saved that store from the man eating hamster, and that store manager offered he'd give you anything because of that?"

Gwen handed a dumbfounded Jen the box, to which Jen started saying, "No, no way, you didn't!"

"Yep, I did,"

Jen opened the box, revealing a complete set of Sumo Slammer cards, with the golden one in the middle. Jen excitedly picked them up to make sure they were real.

"No way! But how? We were in a hurry to chase after Animo, when did you go back there to get these?"

"When did I say I went back there? While grandpa Max made you hurry to go chase after 'Dr. Wacko', I knew he wouldn't worry about making me hurry since I'm not the one with the super powerful alien watch, so I trailed back a bit and convinced him to give me the whole set for you,"

"Wow, thanks Gwen! I really mean it! I kicked bad guy butt AND got a golden Sumo Slammer card! This is the best day of our trip, well, so far at least,"

"Wait, but what about when you got that watch?"

"It would have been, except for, you know," Jen motioned at her body.

"Ah, that reminds me about something else, I was also able to convince him to give you a little something else, it's still in the box, under the cards,"

Jen looked back into the box and noticed that there was fabric underneath the cards. At first she assumed it was there to help protect the cards, but now that she got a better look at the fabric, she realized what it was.

"No, no you didn't,"

"Yes, yes I did,"

".......... I'm not gonna wear it,"

"Oh, that's quite alright, I'm sure your conscience will be okay with that, especially since I went out of my way to get you those Sumo Slammer cards,"

"But, but, uh... I saved your life!"

"And I'll be eternally grateful for that, and be eternally sad you didn't appreciate the gift I got for you..."

"... Mmmmh, oh alright, you big cry baby, I'll put the stupid dress on," Jen told her as she carefully set the cards down and then roughly took the dress out and walked over to the bathroom.

While Jen was getting dressed in the bathroom, Gwen excitedly stood up and walked into the area the two of them usually sleep in. Some time later Jen walked out of the bathroom wearing a fancy blue dress.

"Here, are you happy now?" She asked through gritted teeth, then getting confused as to why she wasn't at the table anymore.

"Don't forget the bow, cutie!" Gwen told her as she put a bow in her hair, startling her.

"Hey! Don't sneak up on me like that, and... why are you wearing the same dress as me?"

"Why? Because I managed to convince him to give me two of the same dress, and now we are ready for the pictures!" Gwen informed her as she turned Jen around towards a camera she had set up.

"Wait, what?! How did you... Let me guess, you convinced him to give you one, didn't you?"

"The latest model too, he told me that because you both prevented more damage to the store AND prevented anyone from getting hurt, you effectively saved them a lot of time, money, and the trouble of lawsuits, which translated to me being able to get pretty much anything I could ask for, except for a car or house,"

"Ugh, this better not go on the internet, or be shown to any of our family members, or anyone at my school, in fact, don't show them to anyone else but yourself,"

"Oh don't be such a cry baby, they're just pictures! And besides, once you turn back into a guy, these pictures won't even matter anymore since they would be of someone else, basically,"

"Fine, whatever, let's just get this over with, it is just a few pictures with a dumb dress I guess,"

"Just wait till we try on the other nine sets I convinced him to give us, and I think you’ll love the patriotic one,"

“*gulp* Nine other sets?”

While this was going on, grandpa Max was looking back at them through the rear view mirror, smiling, happy that they were getting along, sort of.

Chapter 4: The Krakken

Summary:

Jen and her family arrive at a lake to enjoy a day of camping and fishing, but something much bigger than your typical largemouth bass lurks deep within the waters of the lake.

Notes:

This took a bit longer than I'd have liked, mostly due to some more health issues, but now I'm mostly better, again. Either way, I think I should clarify how this series is going to go moving forward. In general, I want this series to be a "What if Ben became a girl?" for most episodes, as in I'll be making chapters that are basically rewrites of the episodes from the main series along with completely unique chapters. I'll firstly be doing the the first Ben 10 series, doing every episode except the ones I don't think I can add much to when it comes to Jen being a girl, for example: Tourist Trap, Side Effects, Game Over, Ben 4 Good Buddy, Ken 10, and Goodbye and Good Riddance (kindof), also maybe more depending on how much of the chapter is the actual episode and how much is my writing. After the first series, I'll make around 2 - 4 seasons worth of my own original episode chapters, one season continuing the summer vacation, while the rest cover her life back home and up to the point Jen unlocks Feedback. And then after that I'll do Alien Face, Ultimate Alien, and then Omniverse. After Omniverse, I'll pretty much start only doing original chapters, and I already have countless in mind, so this series isn't ending anytime soon, I just hope I can be a little quicker when writing. Either way, I encourage everyone to comment their thoughts about this and the chapter, honestly I love seeing lots of comments, I care more for that than Kudos. Any criticism is welcome, along with questions. Lastly, regarding the tags, more will be added over time, but also the Underage Sex thing, I don't remember adding that tag, but honestly if it just makes adults read the story then whatever, but when it comes to lewd stuff, that stuff will mostly happen when Jen is a teenager rather than anytime soon. There will be some stuff, really only enf type of stuff, but never anything more than that. Anyways, this is too long, have a great day everyone, and be sure to comment your thoughts and opinions about this!

Chapter Text

A full moon lights up the sky and a foggy forest below it. A large lake, surrounded by said trees and mist, is quiet and still.

"CANNONBALL!" Jen yelled out as she jumped into the lake.

She quickly resurfaced, spat out some lake water and said to herself, "Judges score... yes! Perfect 10! Yeah! (aahh, aahh) The crowd loves him!"

Gwen watches her unamused at the end of a pier, with a flashlight in hand, but then quickly says to Jen, "Don't you mean "The crowd loves her" Jen?"

"Hey, like I've been saying, I'm not going to be a girl forever, you don't have to remind me every single day, besides, there's no one even around to hear me say that I'm actually a boy. Just chill out and dive in with me!" Jen responded.

"Please! Who knows what nasty, slimy things are slithering around in there," she added as she shone her flashlight around where Jen swam, settling her light onto Jen.

"... You know, I'd usually say something about you being some slimy, slithering thing, but as a girl, under the moonlight, and in the bathing suit I picked out for you, you look rather cute," Gwen informed her with a smirk on her face.

"Hmph, what's the point in camping by a lake if you're afraid to get wet?" Jen retorted as she splashed the water from the lake onto Gwen.

"*gasp* Knock it off, midget!" Gwen told her as she started to walk away.

While she was walking away Jen started to violently splash around in the lake.

"Hey, *cough*, what's *cough*, happen-!" Jen tried to speak but was seemingly dragged underwater.

"Very funny Jen, I'm not falling for it," Gwen turned around and went back to where Jen was swimming.

She shines her flashlight over where Jen should be but only sees an unusually large amount of bubbles where she was.

"Jen?" She asked, a little more worried about her cousin.

Just then, a tall, green swamp-monster lurches from the bubbles, heading towards Gwen as it growls. Gwen screams, falls over and drops her flashlight in fear, but then the flashlight rolls in a way that allows it to shine on the monster, revealing it to just be Jen's Four Arms transformation, covered in various lake plants.

"Jen?" Gwen asked, annoyed.

"You should have seen the look on your face! Ah, priceless!" Jen told her amused.

"You are so busted when I tell grandpa, this is not how a lady should act!" Gwen said angrily as she stood back up and stormed off.

"Ha ha ha! I can't believe she fell for it! A monster in the lake! How dumb can you be? I guess she'd have to be dumb to think that I'd still act like a girl even while I’m transformed, ha!" Jen talked to herself as she took the lake plants off of herself.

After she said that, she heard a slight comotion behind her, and after she turned around she witnessed a giant lake monster rising out of the water just behind her, greatly shocking her! Jen looks up at the imposing lake creature. A tendril from the creature shoots out at her, grabbing and then throwing her across the lake. Jen pops back out of the water and tries to look around for the creature, but while she’s looking around a tendril comes out of the water and latches onto her and drags her under the water. Once she's further below, she opens her eyes and is face to face with the monster's giant eye. She gasps underwater and quickly forces her way out of the monster's tendrils. She tries to quickly swim up, once again breaching the top of the lake, gasping for air. She finally swims back to shore and runs to the Rustbucket.

She opens the door to the R.V., still gasping for air, and tries to tell a sleeping Max and Gwen, "I was just attacked by a giant lake monster!"

After she told them, Gwen throws a pillow at her face and responds, "Hello? Current events? You already got me with that one."

"But I'm not kidding this time!" She tries to explain.

"Come on champ, joke's over," a sleepy Max responds.

"But, I--!"

"*uh* Get some sleep, remember we have an early day tomorrow for our fishing trip," Grandpa Max informs her, while her watch's timer starts beeping until she turns back into her human self, causing her to fall down on her back, but then sits back up, dejected.

The next day, the three of them are walking along the coast while Jen tries to convince them of what she saw last night.

"No really, it was humongous with these red glowing eyes-!" Jen tried to explain.

"I'm sure it was just some kind of big fish, that's all," Max replied.

"Yeah, so give the mega-fish story a rest, this day is gloomy enough with what I know about your transformations now," Gwen added.

"What could you possibly have figured out about any of my transformations Ms. Know-it-all?" Jen asked mockingly.

"After getting a good look at your "Four Arms" transformation, you wore the same outfit every other time you transform into her, I was hoping that if you transformed wearing something like a bathing suit or a dress that you would transform with it, or at least create a new outfit or something,"

"Seriously? Why would you think about that, or even care about what my aliens dress like? They aren't your dolls!"

"Because, a lady has to look her best, even when they're alien ladies. Ooh! Speaking of dolls, once we get back home and if you're still a girl I would LOVE to try out some doll clothes on that grey frog alien thingy, I don't have a lot, but I could always buy more with my allowance,"

"Her name is Grey Matter," Jen replied with clenched teeth, dreading the thought of Gwen dressing her up as her Grey Matter transformation with doll clothes.

Once they arrived at a boat Grandpa Max called out the captain's name.

"Captain Shaw?"

"Who wants to know?" He asks him.

"I'm Max Tennyson, and these are my granddaughters, Gwen and Jen Tennyson. We chartered your boat today for a fishing trip,"

"Well what're you waiting for, an engraved invitation? Get aboard, I ain't got all day,"

Jen, smiling, immediately walked onboard, excited about possibly finding the seamonster she saw last night. Gwen on the other hand, after seeing the bait bucket full of live worms, didn't want to step onboard.

"I think I'm gonna pass on the fishing thing, I'll stay here and catch some sun instead!" She told Max.

"Okay, but you don't know what you're missing!" He replied.

"I'm pretty sure I do," She began to walk away before she suddenly had a thought.

"Oh Jen! Would you like to catch a little sun with me, while we wear some of our new swimsuits? After all, I'm sure you don't want to get gobbled up by that big mean sea monster that you totally saw last night..." Gwen shouted out at Jen.

"Why do you think I'm excited to go out there for some boring fishing? I want to prove that I actually saw it last night!" Jen yelled back.

Gwen just shrugged her shoulders and continued back along the pier while Max finally got onboard the ship himself. Soon after, the boat would take off heading towards the deeper parts of the lake.

Some time later, Max was looking at the scenery at the edges of the lake when he decided to ask the captain about the fish.

"Anything... interesting out there to catch today?"

"More than you can imagine... Looks like your girl's using her breakfast as chum," the captain both answered and informed.

"Jen? You feeling okay?" Max asked.

"Yeah, I'm just keeping an eye out for the lake monster. That thing's not taking me by surprise this time!" She replied, as Max then frowned in confusion.

Just a few seconds later, Jen sees a silhouette of something floating in the water, which could only mean one thing.

"Woah! There it is!" She gasped.

But as it floated by them, it showed itself to be nothing more than some floating debris.

"Oh, my bad."

"Now, Jen. This is a fishing trip, not a monster hunt," Max told her.

"It's called 'the Krakken'," Captain Shaw told them while looking out into the waters.

"Whoa. You know about it?" Jen asked.

"It's my business to know about it," He told her as he handed her a picture of the monster, showing her a familiar silhouette.

"I've been on its tail for years. Folks say my rudder's not right,"

"Why doesn't that surprise me?..." Max asked aloud.

"Sightings go back hundreds of years, on this very lake. Some say it's a myth... not me! I could take you to a spot where I personally laid eyes upon the beast. That is, if you've got the stomach for some real adventure!" He told them with a smile on his face.

Jen looked over at Grandpa Max with a smile on her face. A reluctant Max looked down as she smiled wider expectantly.

"I guess so..." Max answered.

"Alright!"

"Sonar, high-def video setup, ultrasound. I got it all. And I will find it. Mark my words, it can't hide forever," Shaw told an excited Jen.

But after doing so Max quickly pulled Jen to the side, slightly spooking her.

"Jen, I don't want you to put too much stock in what Mr. Shaw says. I don't think he has both oars in the water, if you know what I mean," Max told her.

"Why? Just because he saw the Krakken too?" Jen asked, slightly angered as she walked back to see the captain's equipment, leaving Max saddened.

They continued heading towards the location Shaw was talking about, after checking his sonar, Captain Shaw noticed a blockade of buoys and yellow "Do not Enter" tape.

""Do not Enter"?! What's going on?" Shaw asked aloud angrily.

"Looks official. Maybe we should turn back," Max suggested.

"Nonsense, this is my lake and I'll go wherever I-" He began to respond before being interrupted.

"Fishing boat! Stop where you are," Another man asked from his ship which pulled up to their own.

"I am Jonah Melville, the founder of "Friends of Fish", we've closed this section of the lake for an environmental study. You'll have to turn your boat around," He kindly informed them.

"'Suppose you make me, fish-hugger?" Shaw asked them in a confrontational tone.

"Well, since I chartered the boat for the day, I believe I'm in charge. Isn't that right, Captain?" Max asked him.

"*Sigh* aw I suppose-" Shaw grumbled as he walked his way up the boat.

"But- what about the Krakken?" Jen asked Max.

"Hahahahaha, the Krakken? Not that old fish story. Look, I'm a marine biologist. Anyone who tells you they've seen a monster in this lake, is casting without a hook," he mockingly told an unhappy Jen.

Shaw's boat travels back to the docks, following the "Friends of Fish" boat. But as they did so, the ship's sonar pings, alerting Shaw.

"The sonar! We've found something!" He said aloud as a green sharklike fin shot out of the water behind them.

"Or something's found us! Look!" Jen pointed at the fin.

"The Krakken," Shaw told them.

The fin then went underwater, but the creature itself went under the boat, showing a shadow of its true size, rocking the boat before heading further ahead.

"It's heading for the docks!" A panicked Shaw deduced based on the direction it was headed.

"Gwen!" Both Max and Ben say in unison.

The fin repapered closer to the docks as Gwen sat at the edge of one of the docks, rocking her feet.

"Ah, finally a little sun. I kinda wish Jen had joined me, even though she still is a bit of a bigmouth cousin, I won't have many opportunities to see how she looks with the swimwear that I got her, but I guess I can settle for some more time to just lay back and relax..." Gwen told herself.

As the creature continues to swim towards the docks, Shaw tries to warn the people there by ringing the ship's horn.

"How many times does that doofus think I'm gonna fall for this?" Gwen asked herself as she saw the fishing boat rush towards the pier.

In no time at all the Krakken bursts out of the water shrieking, it then crashes into the pier, destroying a large section while sending Gwen and many other piergowers flying into the water.

Gwen pops out of the water gasping," *gasp* That's not Jen,"

"I told ya! It's real! The Krakken lives!" Shaw told them as he looked through his binoculars.

"Sail now, gloat later," Max told him.

"Someone's got to rescue those people," Max told Jen.

Jen immediately ran over to the side of the boat and jumped off into the water, activating her watch her Ripjaws transformation is immediately on dial.

"Ripjaws to the rescue!" She says as she then dives underwater and presses the dial on her watch transforming her.

She resurfaces as XLR8, much to her annoyance.

"Hey, I said Ripjaws, not XLR8! Stupid watch!" She bemoaned.

Meanwhile the Krakken started to dive into the water towards Gwen and the other people that fell into the water.

"Here goes nothing," she said as her visor went down.

She started to run towards the people, eventually rising above the water, managing to run on top of it, albeit with some initial difficulty causing her to wobble a bit before she was able to perfectly run on water. Before the monster was able to take a bite out of Gwen Jen was able to snatch her out of the water just in time.

"Woah!" Gwen exclaimed just after being picked up.

Jen brings her to the shore and asks, "You Okay?"

"*cough* *cough*, I think so, thanks for the save," Gwen replied.

Jen splashes mud onto Gwen as she takes off to rescue the other civilians.

"*ptha* *ptha* *pthu*Hey! You did that on purpose!"

Jen rushes towards the rest of the people, managing to pick everyone up and brings them back to shore where she left Gwen.

"Get us out of here!" Commands Jonah, the captain of the F.O.F boat.

One of the ship's crewmates turns back on the engine of their boat and tries to leave, but the Krakken notices their ship and throws away another boat it had and dives into the water in pursuit of their ship. Jen tries to rush over to try and help them, but before she could the monster reappears in front of their boat, forcing them to stop. It then splashes its massive tail in front of them, considerably rocking their boat.

"Woah!" Both Jonah and another crewmate exclaim as their boat gets pushed away.

The Krakken continues its chase, but Jen eventually manages to get between the boat and the monster and starts spinning around, creating a watery tornado, initially scaring off the creature. After she scared it off, she stops and does a backflip onto their boat, looking into the water to see if she managed to scare it off for good. Unfortunately for them it reappeared in front of the ship and used its mouth tendrils to grab onto and rip open the tarp on the front of the ship, revealing a cannery crate. Jonah immediately runs over to the crate in order to try and save it.

"No you don't!" He yells as he and the crate are being dragged by the monster off the ship.

Jen rushes over and grabs onto one of the mouth tendrils and rubs her roller feet on the ground of the ship, causing smoke to blow into the monster's face, making it let go of the crate, causing Jen, Jonah and the crate to tumble backwards, where only Jen landed on her feet. The Krakken tries to attack again, but as it closes in on the ship Jen ran underneath the monster and started to rapidly kick it with her two feet, making it retreat underwater another time.

"Thanks for the hand, and the feet," Jonah said to her as he and another crewmate walked up to her.

"*Hiss* What's so important in that crate, that you'd risk your life for it?" Jen asked as she pulled back her visor, both curious and peeved having to fight a giant lake monster over something that she didn't know was important or not.

"Um... Our lunch!" Jonah replied.

"You almost got munched for a few sandwiches?!" Jen asked, perplexed.

After she asked that, one of the monster's tendrils popped out of the water, grabbing onto the crate and taking it back into the water with it. Jen brings down her visor and is about to pursue the monster, but her device on her chest starts to make a familiar beeping sound.

"Uh oh. Sorry, gotta run," She quickly says as she jumps off the ship and starts running towards Shaw's ship.

"Almost there, I think I'm gonna- yaah!" Jen says as she turns back into her female self, yelling and then grunting as she hits the water, skipping across it like a skipping stone. She pops out of the water in front of the ship, then adds to her unfinished sentence, "-make it."

Max spots her and yells, "Man overboard! Shaw, Jen is overboard! Bring the boat around!"

Shaw was aiming a harpoon at the Krakken, but after hearing Max he decided to help the little girl first.

"Next time you're in my sights, you won't be so lucky..." Shaw tells the distant beast as it swam away.

Some time later, many of the campers and dock-goers were all packed up and leaving the campsite as it got dark. Jen, Gwen and Max all sat by a campfire next to the Rustbucket while Jen continued to dry off.

"See, I told you so. That was the same thing that tried to munch me last night. Mr. Shaw and I were right!" Jen told them in an "I told you so!" manner.

"Just because he was right about the Krakken doesn't mean I was wrong about him. I want you to stay away from that guy. He's trouble," Max told her.

"You're just being stubborn," Jen responded.

"Yeah, don't you hate people like that?" Gwen ask, as if she had a certain someone in mind.

"We'll leave this to the experts Jen, like those 'Friends of Fish' guys," Max continued.

"Experts? Who better to snag a lake-monster than the guy, or "gal" with the monster-buster on her wrist?" Jen asked.

"I'm afraid this is just gonna have to be the one that got away, missy," Max responded.

"... Missy?" Jen responded, unamused.

"Well, uh, I can't quite use 'son' now, can I?"

"Hmph!" Jen pouted, while Gwen quietly snickered.

"...low-down no good fish kissers!" Captain Shaw yelled to himself as he walked by them.

"Captain Shaw, what is it?" Jen asked him.

"The nerve of those enviro-punks! They shut down the entire lake! Nobody tells me where to sail, and nobody's gonna keep me away from reeling in the catch of the century. Nobody," he explained with determination and then walked off.

Not too long later, Captain Shaw's ship sails off into the water, while back at the Rustbucket, Gwen was waiting for Jen to come out of the bathroom.

"Come on Jen! What did you do, fall in?... Ugh, I promise I won't make you wear another dress before bed, alright?" She received no response.

Max comes up to the bathroom door a little worried about Jen, but after he opens the bathroom door, Jen is nowhere to be seen, shocking him. Back at Shaw's ship, he continues to sail away in search of the Krakken, but he then hears a rattling noise on his ship, coming from beneath one of his tarps.

"Hey! No stowaways on my boat, even if you are only a filthy rat!" He says angrily as he picks up an oar to lift the tarp to see what kind of stowaway he had.

Underneath the tarp he revealed Jen, who then nervously said, "Uh, first mate Tennyson reporting for duty... sir?"

***A Short while Later***

Captain Shaw's boat was parked closer to the middle of the lake while he got ready to go into the water.

"She's probably been chased deep by our 'fishy friends'. Only one way to flush her out... with a little live bait," He explained to her once he was fully dressed in a diving suit.

"Maybe I should go with you? Y'know, just in case?" Jen asked.

"No need. I've got my dive buddy right here," he informs her as he shows her a harpoon gun.

He sits on the side of the ship and tells her before diving into the water, "Wish me luck." *Splash*

After he jumps in, Jen looks over at a red diving suit on the floor of the boat, giving her an idea.

Shaw made his way through the water, going deeper towards the lake floor, passing by a school of fish. At some point, something slithers in front of him, spooking him, but it turns out to be nothing more than a seaweed like plant floating by. Relieved, he continued onward towards the bottom, swimming past a large amount of debris from other boats. He eventually stands at the bottom and finds what appears to be some sort of nest with what he could only assume to be an egg within it.

Intrigued by this discovery, he at first fails to notice something swimming behind him. Once it starts to get much closer, Shaw notices it and fires his harpoon gun at it, only for it to dodge it. But the creature revealed itself to just be Jen in the red diving suit. Shaw was at first shocked, then relieved that he didn't just harpoon a child. He pointed over towards the egg he found, letting Jen get a good look at it. After a bit, he decides to rise back up to the surface. Once there, he notices a dark boat right next to his ship, and goes on to climb the ladder of his ship. Before he could get far up someone else on his ship grabs him and pulls him up, then throws him onto the deck of his ship.

"Don't you know night diving is dangerous, old timer? Unless of course, you went with a friend," asked one of three masked men.

"I work alone. I ain't got no friends," Shaw replied, before Jen popped up out of the water.

"And with a sparkling personality like yours?" The masked man continued as his two other men surrounded Shaw.

"I haven't anything worth stealing either!" He added angrily.

"Ah, but you have us all wrong. All we want is information. Like, what did you see down there?" The masked man asked while his two men held onto Shaw's arms.

"Nothin'. Same as always," he lied.

The masked man punches Shaw to the ground, knocking him out cold. He then takes off his mask, revealing himself to be Jonah. After witnessing this, Jen tries to use her watch, but unfortunately it's out of charge for the moment.

"Come on, work!" She pleads with it.

"Take 'Ahab' here with us. Find out if he knows anything back at the Cannery. We'll come back later with a mini-sub to snatch the rest of the eggs," he orders the other two, while also taking a beeping device and throws it into the water, which then sinks to the bottom.

"In the meantime, I think his boat just got lost at sea," he says, as he primes an explosive and throws it onto Shaw's ship, as his boat starts to sail off.

The bomb destroys the ship, sending debris flying everywhere forcing Jen to go back underwater. Once she resurfaces she looks around the carnage and fidgets with her watch, showing it to have recharged.

"It's hero time,"

As the crew sail away from the explosion, one of the crew members points to something in the sky and says, "Is that a bird?"

Another crew member replies, "Nah, looks like a plane."

But once Stinkfly gets close enough Jonah realizes what it is.

"It's a bug! Man the harpoons!" He orders his crewmates.

"Give it up! You are totally busted!" Jen yells out at them.

One crew member mans the turret at the front of the boat and starts firing at Stinkfly. She easily dodges their weapons fire and shoots goop first at a different crew member with a handheld gun and then at the one on the turret, knocking them both down. Jonah on the other hand goes into the boat and flips several switches releasing the barrels from his ship into the lake behind them. As Jen tried to follow them the barrels began to explode, making her move more erratically so she could dodge the blasts. Eventually, one explodes close enough to knock her into the water.

"Aw man, my wings are too wet for takeoff!" She says.

Jonah turns the boat around, turning up the speed and says to himself, "Let's squish that bug, once and for all!"

While they race closer towards Jen, shining a light onto her, she tries to swim away, managing to climb onto a log in the lake. She looks behind her with her four eyes and sees them coming ever closer while a crew mate gets back onto the turret on the front of the boat.

"Ah, come on, come on! Dry off!" She says as she tries to flap her wings.

The man on the turret starts shooting towards her, and Jen, running out of options, looks around and sees a tree close to her. She shoots a slime string at one of its branches and then slurps on the slime, propelling her onto the tree, just barely missing the fire from the turret and the boat which crashed through the log destroying it. They circle back around to try and find her, shining a spotlight where they could. Jen manages to hide from them, but while Jonah was shining the light he thought he saw a fin for a brief moment in the water.

"It's getting too crowded around here," he tells his crew and then shines the spotlight onto an unconscious Shaw.

"Dump the trash overboard,"

Jen continues to try and dry her wings while they throw Shaw overboard their ship and take off, but before Shaw could meet a watery grave Jen manages to grab onto him before he could sink too deeply. She looks around for any more signs of danger, but after noticing nothing else, she takes off with Shaw, heading back towards the Rust Bucket.

"Almost there!" She says as she sees the Rust Bucket in her sights.

But almost as soon as she said this her symbol began to flash red.

"Aw, not again..."

Meanwhile, Gwen was using binoculars to look over the lake.

"Any sign of Jen and Shaw?" Max asked her as he got out of the Rust Bucket.

"Not yet," she replied.

The sound of Stinkfly's wings and the timing out noise from the watch catches their attention towards the sky, but just as they saw Stinkfly flying towards them with Shaw in her grip she turns back into Jen. A shocked and screaming Jen comes hurdling down towards them along with Shaw onto the Rustbucket's sun-shade.

"Uhg, I hate it when that happens," Jen says while on the tarp.

A short while later, all four people were gathered in the Rustbucket discussing what Shaw and Jen found under the lake.

"...and the Krakken's nest was full of eggs! No wonder she's been attacking everything, Jonah must be stealing her eggs!" Jen finished telling Max and Gwen.

"And I think I know who Jonah is. I did a little checking on "Friends of Fish" and found out it's not listed on any environmental website. But I did find this-" Gwen informed them as she turned her laptop towards Jen, Max and Shaw.

"Jonah Melville isn't a friend to any kind of wildlife, he travels around the world poaching rare animals, then crates them up, and sells them to private collectors," she continued while showing multiple pictures of Jonah poaching many wild animals.

"Crates them up? Oh man! I bet that crate the Krakken took off their boat had her egg in it!" Jen figured out.

"Looks like we were both a little too hard headed," Max told her.

"We've got to stop them! They said something about going back to a cannery," Jen informed them.

"All this talk doesn't change a thing. Mommy or not, that beast is mine. Let's go! I've a spare boat down at the docks," Shaw informs them as he leaves.

The three Tennyson's exchange a knowing glance at each other and go to follow Shaw.

Back at the docks all three Tennyson's are in the boat while Gwen had just gotten off the phone with the police.

"It'll take a while for the police to get here," she informs them while Shaw unties the boat from the docks.

Just as he was finishing untying the boat it took off into the lake.

"What're you doing? Get back here!" He yells at them.

"Sorry, Captain," Jen can be heard saying as they take off.

"You don't know what you're doing! A monster's a monster, and I know a monster when I see one!" He tries to reason even though they're too far gone.

Angered, Shaw looks around and finds another boat with nothing more than two oars.

Further down the lake, a crane hooks onto a submarine suit containing Johnas who managed to get ahold of the egg the Krakken managed to save before. The crane brings him over to a dock where he manages to hand over the egg to one of his crew mates, who then almost drops it.

"Careful! Or you'll be cleaning up the world's most expensive omelette," he warns him as his crew mate puts the egg with another one just like it in a glass capsule.

"After we sell these babies to the highest bidder, we'll be kicking back on a beach in the Bahamas," he tells them as he cradles the capsule.

Meanwhile below the docks the Tennysons arrive just in time, finding an immediate latter to climb up.

"See if you can find the eggs," Jen tells both Gwen and Max while they climb up the latter.

"What about you?" Gwen asks her.

"I'm gonna kick some Friends of Fish tail," she replied as she activated her watch, turning the dial to Ripjaws and then pressing down on it.

She immediately turns into Ripjaws, but before she could get onto the pier, the Krakken swoops up underneath her, crashing through the pier and confronting the three men that have her eggs.

"The bigger the Krakken, the bigger the payday!" Jonah says as he then runs over to his submarine suit in order to protect himself and better fight the Krakken.

His two crewmembers begin firing at the monster, while one tries to stand his ground, the other runs into the cannery in order to find a better weapon. The one standing his ground manages to continuously hit the monster in its face but to no effect. The monster uses one of its tendrils to swipe away the crewman along with a sizable chunk of the dock and then move toward its eggs. Jonah in his submarine suit swoops in due to the crane still holding him and takes the eggs away from her while she tries and fails to bite him out of the air. While he retreats he begins firing at the monster with the suit's wrist gun, managing to push the monster back. While Jonah continues to fire at the monster, Ripjaws starts building up speed underwater, eventually shooting out onto the submarine suit.

"You want to mess with a monster? Try me on for size," she threatens Jonah.

She first goes for the eggs while Jonah aims his wrist gun at Jens head, but before he could fire she bites it off and then bites the mechanical arm holding the egg container making it drop the eggs. Ripjaws falls off grabbing ahold of the eggs, but Jonah manages to punch her making her let go too, allowing the container to fall to the ground shattering, while the eggs roll over to the edge of the mangled pier. Meanwhile inside the cannery, both Max and Gwen sneak around the building and eventually come across the crewmate who fled, who was now getting a much bigger weapon for the monster. Max, trying not to alert him, tries to communicate a plan of action with Gwen only using hand symbols. Below the dock however, the crewmate that was knocked off resurfaces next to the lower lander and manages to climb back up and in front of both Max and Gwen, pulling out his gun and aiming it at them.

"All right, buddy. We can do this the easy way, or the hardy way," Max tells him threateningly.

The crewmate is unbothered by them and starts to head closer towards them while they try to walk away from him. But before anything else could happen the Krakken's tail fin crashes through the building behind the crewmate, alerting everyone in the cannery.

Noticing the hook assembly above them, Max tells Gwen, "Go high!" Having the two of them jump and grab hold of them, allowing them to avoid the tail crashing through the wall and floor, sweeping the crewmate and everything else into the water, besides the two of them. The other crewmate finally comes out with a larger gun, but before he could use it, Max comes swinging in from the hook, knocking the gun out of his hands, while Gwen comes up behind crashing her feet into his face, knocking him down cold onto the floor.

"Is this the easy way, or the hard way?" She bemoans to Max.

Back outside Jonah goes for the eggs once more, but the Krakken manages to beat him to them with her tail fin.

"My eggs!" He yells out as he tries to chase after them while Ripjaws grabs onto his suit.

"They aren't your eggs!" She yells back at him as she manages to prevent him from getting ahold of the eggs again.

This commotion manages to knock the eggs out of the Krakkens grasp, having them fall, Ripjaws manages to grab ahold of them but Jonah comes crashing down onto her, knocking them out of her grasp.

"Rescuing babies, very heroic, but not very smart!" Jonah tells her as he punches her multiple times.

After Jonah takes back the eggs, Ripjaws floats down a little but quickly recovers, giving chase to Jonah. She manages to catch up to him, grasping onto his glass faceplate, and while he manages to shake her off, she comes back a second time and wrestles the eggs out of his grasp, putting them into her gaping jaw, and then starts to swim away. The Krakken, not knowing that Ripjaw's on her side, swipes at her, knocking her away from the eggs, but still allowing her to take back her eggs.

While the Krakken now tries to run away, Jonah continues his pursuit, forcing Ripjaws to follow as well. Once close enough Jonah activates a sonic device, causing the Krakken immense pain, forcing her to stop in her tracks, allowing Jonah to swoop in and take the eggs yet again. Ripjaws comes back again and crashes into Jonah, forcing the two of them onto the underwater floor. Jonah manages to get the operand, holding her by the throat, but Ripjaws grabs onto a nearby chain connected to an anchor and swipes at him forcing him off.

She then tries to wrestle with one of the mechanical arms but gets shocked off, allowing Jonah to try to retreat once more. While he runs away she gets an idea with the anchor, and starts swinging it around, using enough force to throw it at him, slicing off one of the suits arms. She then tries to use the anchor as a hook to try and real him in, but the Krakken interrupts breaking off the chain causing the two of them to move away, almost getting swept up by the Krakken.

Jonah loses his grip on the eggs and gets swatted away by the Krakken while Ripjaws manages to grab onto the eggs with her mouth once more and takes off with them, causing the Krakken to chase after her. Ripjaws heads straight towards the Krakken's nest, and before it could catch her, she carefully lays down each egg in her nest, allowing it to then cradle them. Jonah, with a menacing look and nothing else but the eggs on his mind, charges straight towards them. But the Krakken immediately blocks his path, grabs ahold of him with its tendrils, and finally proceeds to bite into and tear off the top of his suit, forcing him out of it and into the water.

A determined and enraged Jonah takes out a knife and tries to stab the Krakken, only for him to hit one of its teeth causing the knife to break in two. An enraged Krakken begins to screech at Jonah preparing to finish him off, but Ripjaws comes just in time to shield a cowering Jonah from the Krakken's wrath, calming the beast for a moment. Even without words, the monster somehow understood that the fighting was over, and finally retreated back to her eggs, finally back in her grasp. A still angry Ripjaws looks over to Jonah who in turn looks at her and shrugs, only for Jen to deliver the final punch at Jonah, knocking him out. Ripjaws drags him all the way to the surface and hangs him on one of the piers' broken pillars for the police to find.

"Hang here for a while, until the police find a nice, dry cell for ya," She tells him as a police boat starts arriving, which also causes Ripjaws to do a backflip back into the water.

Back on the pier, both Max and Gwen see the arrival of the police prepared to pick up Jonah and his crew.

"Ha, good riddance to bad rubbish," Max said aloud.

"Got one! I finally got me a Krakken! One of the eggs must've hatched. Imagine this trophy mounted on my wall!" An excited Shaw tells both Max and Gwen as he rows up to them with Ripjaws hanging in a net from Shaw's row boat.

But while he was gloating to the two of them, Jen's timer began to sound off, starting to transform her back into herself.

"Heh, I think your "catch of the day" isn't exactly as advertised," Max tells him.

A confused Shaw takes a lantern to shine on his "Krakken", only for Jen to move some seaweed out of the way to show it was her instead.

"But I could've sworn..." Shaw says, shaking his head.

Back in the lake, the Krakken calmly lays around her eggs, protecting and waiting for them to hatch.

*The next day*

After the police picked up Jonah and his crew, the Tennysons decided to stay one last night at their campsite before leaving in the morning. One good nights rest later, Gwen was walking out of the Rustbucket fully dressed for the road, Max was outside finishing up cleaning their campsite. Once she looked around she wasn't surprised to not see Jen hanging around nearby.

"I'm not surprised Jen isn't around to help finish cleaning," Gwen remarked after coming outside.

"Morning Gwen, I think it's safe to say that since she wasn't in there with you she's somewhere down by the lake. I don't know why though, knowing that there's a giant "Krakken" in there, I'd stay clear of it," Max added.

"That's the problem with being a mega dweeb, even when you're transformed into a girl, you're still a mega dweeb, despite my best efforts,"

"Either way we better get going soon, we have a deadline to meet with you Great Aunt Vera, and our campsite is as clean as a whistle, a shame the other campers didn't do a better job at cleaning their campsites after the Krakken attack... You know what? You go ahead and get Jen, I'll do a little extra cleaning here since I feel that the service around here won't be too keen on fixing this place up knowing there's a monster in the lake,"

"Okay, I'll be sure to drag her kicking and screaming if I have to," Gwen told him, but before she got too far, a concerning thought came to her mind.

"Wait, should we even go visit Aunt Vera? Considering Jen is, well, you know, Jen? And not Ben at the moment?"

"Hmm, you're right, that could complicate this stop, even though it would break Aunt Vera's heart, we may have to skip this visit, or maybe we could have Jen stay in the Rustbucket the entire time we're there?"

"Do you really think she'll just sit still in that thing the whole time, especially with that watch on her wrist?"

"Good point, this could get complicated, but leave that for me to worry about, you go get Jen, assuming she didn't decide to stay here and live with that thing as "Ripjaws", I'll think things over as I help around this campsite for a bit,"

Gwen nodded and continued to walk towards the lake. Once she was closer to the lake she took note of how much damage the Krakken had caused while it was searching for its eggs.

"Seriously though, why would she just come back to the monster infested lake? You would think being turned into a girl would make someone smarter, but no, she just had to change gender and not anything else,"

Once she was down by the same dock that had Shaw's spare boat, she found Jen laying down basking in the morning sun.

"I had a feeling I'd find you here, come on dweeb before you become fish food to that thing,"

"Okay just a second, I was kind of hoping I'd get to see it one last time but so far she hasn't come out yet,"

"Well duh! Some evil poacher stoll her eggs causing her to go on a rampage, of course she'd be doing nothing but guarding her eggs, and maybe sometimes going out to find some fish food, like you for example,"

"I don't think she'd do that, well, not to me at least, since I did save her eggs from that same poacher, remember?"

"Yeah, I remember "Ripjaws" saving her eggs, not "little cutie patootie" Jen Tennyson. Now come on, we have deadlines to meet," Gwen told her as she turned around to leave.

"Alright already, lemme stretch for a moment, and I'll be right there," Jen responded as she stood up and started stretching.

Gwen headed back fairly quickly while Jen took her time to stretch, but after she had just finished she noticed a ripple in the water below her. Looking in she saw the Krakken looking up at her with its two silver eyes.

"... Um, I hope you know that I was the fish creature helping you out earlier, he he..." She said to her.

The Krakken didn't make any sudden moves to attack her, but it did move its tendrils under the water as if it was bringing up something for Jen to see. Jen was shocked and amazed at what it was showing her, two recently hatched mini Krakkens, trying to swim around as fast as they could. Both eventually popped their heads out of the water, curious about the human that they're just seeing for the first time.

"Woah, cool! I guess you do know I'm the same guy, maybe through smell or something?" Jen said to herself as she kneeled down and petted the heads of the baby Krakkens.

They seemed to enjoy her petting them, but eventually returned to their mother who then took them and swam back deep into the lake. Jen smiled to herself, feeling like she just got a once in a lifetime experience. She finally started walking back to the Rustbucket and once there she noticed the other campsites were somewhat cleaner and that Shaw was talking with her Grandpa about something.

Walking up to them, she said," Sorry I took so long, I was hoping to see the Krakken one last time, but I had no luck this time."

"I'm sure there'll be other things you'll get to see on this trip champ, but we really should get going," Max told her.

"Fair enough, by the way, Captain Shaw, what do you plan to do now since both your boats are kind of totaled," Jen asked him.

"I was just talking to your grandfather here about that. Even though I didn't appreciate you three comindering my spare boat, I do appreciate you lot taking care of those pretend fish hugging poachers. Since they're the ones largely responsible for this whole mess, including the damages to my boats, I'll be able to sue them for everything they're worth, which is quite a lot since, after doing my own searching of them, they made a pretty penny off of their poaching business."

"Wouldn't it be hard to sue them when the state will likely take everything they're worth because of their illegal poaching?" Max asked.

"On the contrary, I'll be a part of the suit against them, so I'll still be taking more than enough to not only replace my boats, but to get even bigger ones, but for now I'll be heading away from this place, with no boat for now I'll be taking a well deserved vacation till I resume my hunt for the beast," Shaw explained.

"Well, happy hunting, and suing, but I recommend you find a way to hunt that Krakken real soon, at least before the state decides to declare it a protected animal," Max added before motioning for Jen to get into the Rustbucket.

"What? They can do that? Hrm, that may put a permanent hold on my hunt, I'll have to hope that lawsuit is a quick one," Shaw said to himself as he started to walk away.

Once both Max and Jen were inside, Gwen, after listening to their conversation, added some fun information.

"Considering Jonah and his crew are guilty of a lot of crimes all over the world, it'll be awhile before Captain Shaw can get his new fancy high tech boat," Gwen informed them, causing the three of them to chuckle to themselves as Max started the Rustbuckets engine, taking off.
