“Not now Gukkie!” Taehyung hushed, swatting the hands away from his lower half. Jeongguk let out a whine. “Minnie isn't even looking here hyung! please jagi!”
“Still a no.” Taehyung said with finality in his tone making the younger pout further. Taehyung resisted the urge to coo and kiss the younger, fully aware that it will not cease his ministrations.
“Dada?” Jimin called out once his favourite show ended.
Jeongguk looked at the kid with an exaggerated pout knowing he would at least win the child’s sympathy.
Taehyung simply rolled his eyes at the younger’s antics yet a fond smile adored his face.
“Dada? Why sad? Appa says no sad!” the toddler walked up to the said person.
Jeongguk pulled him into a hug and peppered kisses all over his son’s face causing him to giggle and flush, his eyes disappearing into crescents.
“Dada happy now?” The toddler looked up with big eyes and planted a wet kiss on his cheek before getting off the lap and settling down to play with his toys.
Jeongguk looked at Taehyung with a smug face.
“Jiminie loves me more than appa no?” he declared, his ego reaching the roof once he saw the annoyance flick in Taehyung’s eyes.
The toddler looked up at the mention of his name before screaming, “Minnie loves appa and dada!” his cheeks pulled up in a smile. He paused for a minute, eyebrows pulled into concentration before adding, “Noona loves dada too!” he called out.
“Noona?” Taehyung inquired before glancing at Jeongguk, who looked like a deer caught in the headlights, and then settled onto Jimin.
“Hm! Noona smiled at dada! Dada smiled too! Dada said I love you!” the kid blurted out and then looked at his dads and then went back to his blocks.
“Yah! Minie! We had a deal!” Jeongguk called out flustered before he turned his gaze to his lover. Tehyung raised his eyebrow, internally enjoying the scene.
“Tae-jagi, I told her I like your shirt because she complimented mine! Out of courtesy!” Jeongguk scrambled for the explanation.
“Dada you said I love you! No lie!” The toddler chided his father. He walked up to Jeongguk before pulling his nose. Something related to pinocchio.
Taehyung looked more amused at the scene.
“Yah! You menace!” Jeongguk pulled Jimin on his lap and covered his mouth. He looked at Taehyung who still had his eyebrows raised.
“So? Dada?” Taehyung schooled his expression and looked at Jeongguk.
“Hyung, she said that she loved my shirt so I said I love yours too and I smiled! Basic manners! That's it!'' Jeongguk clarified trying to hold the toddler in his arms, who seemed to wiggle in his hold, trying to get off.
“You-you believe me right hyung? Hyung? I swear it was nothing more!” jeongguk added, his eyes wide and pleading.
Taehyung couldn't hold back himself anymore and laughed out loud.
Jeongguk let out a frustrated”hyung”
Jimin deemed it as the perfect moment to bite Jeongguk's fingers over his mouth and joined his appa in the laughing fest.
It seemed to irritate jeongguk more and he whined. This only made Taehyung laugh harder.
“You're a menace you know? And now you're making him a menace too!” jeongguk let out, his mouth forming a pout, again.
“So you do agree, he takes after me huh?” Taehyung looked back at jeongguk feeling triumphant.
Jeongguk opened and closed his mouth before huffing and turning away from taehyung.
“Aw my baby come here,” Taehyung called out to jeongguk. “Appa i'm here!” Jimin called out from his lap.
“My other baby, Ggukie,” Taehyung pointed at the upset jeongguk. Jimin seemed to let out an ‘o’ before reaching over to his dad “baby Ggukie!” he called out with glee and kissed him all over the face.
“You're the baby minnie!” Jeongguk fondly called out before pulling him into a hug and blowing raspberries on his stomach.
“No cookies for you though, you broke the deal baby.” Jeongguk sternly told the toddler in his arms.
The said toddler looked troubled at the thought and looked to Taehyung for help.
“That's okay baby, appa will give you more cookies for telling me the truth,” Taehyung added, sending a wink to the other man, which only made him whine more.
