Nico wakes up to voices

"Molly, You can't. You can't....allow this i have always believed Dumbledore was a little nuts the way he is...but this ...the strange voice was probably pointing at him....this goes beyond even him."

"He's just a kid Sirius, he would have died in the cold if Fred And George hadn't found him. And if Dumbledore is right, Then he has now confirmed that he's an alley just a different type of Wizard...if Dumbledore finds it fit to be with us here in the Grimmauld place then So be it."

Before Nico (he had to think about it and he's pretty sure his name is Nico) can make sense of what is happening which according to him is loads of nonsense like who is dumbly door?

Why are they in a grim old place?

Who the hell are wizards and why is he any different from them?

And also ALSO if he's already 14 why can't he remember anything from his OWN life??!!

"I think Molly is right Sirius," Said a much gentler voice who seems to try to soothe out this Serious guy(like seriously that's his name?)" We should let the boy Wake up"

Nico was seriously getting uncomfortable by this conversation so he decided to grant their visions by letting them know he's awake....

He slowly opened his eyes....in came person he probably thought about how Santa Claus would looked like. The old man's white beard was insanely long and but his eyes were gentle and had a glint of genius and madness (Nico realised he was familiar with those kinds of look in different people he just don't remember from where)

"Look like you are up" said the old man with a large- tree- bass like voice. "Would you like to have Sherbet lemon? " There was a hint of mischief in his eyes when he said that

"Uh....no ..no thanks i guess"

Nico tries to sit up and he immediately gets hit by a wave of nausea . His vision blurred but he could make sense of three figures in the room. Other than the Old man, there was a red haired plum woman who seemed to radiate warmth and kindness. Obviously a motherly figure. This must be Molly , the lady who was so adamant in keeping him.

Then next to Molly, there were two men, both seemed to be in their mid-thirties. The taller man's attire was all black adorned with gold palettes, he had an emerald green long coat, One thing Nico knew for sure was he was totally on-board with the guy's attire (i mean that's soo cool) But there was something about this guys eyes ....that made Nico feel closer to him , he had a craziness in his eyes, a deep sadness and somehow (even though he don't even know how ) He could relate to that . Next to him was a man who wore completely different from all-black-and-stylish, he wore clothes that were ragged and old (but Nico noted that he was really handsome despite his clothes) This guy seemed gentler than Mr All-black guy but he too had a sadness to his eyes but somehow his was different more well-rooted and was more well hidden. Nico also notes that both of these guys are staring at him.

NOW!

They are staring at him now! Quick ! He needs to say something! Make his point make sense ....his memories, his life and tell that that he had forgotten everything except for his name (was he that self- centred in his life? ) Nico decides to rise from the bed he had laid upon to make a good second impression (does the first one count if he was unconscious at the time?)

"Hi" he promptly stood up . Miss molly looked at him with concern while black stylish guy and his gentle friend had their poker faces on but they seem interested in what he wants to say which is a GOOD thing because he needs to say a lot of things and ask a lot of questions.

"Thank you for saving me from the cold Miss Molly and also for not throwing me out yet. I am Nico di Angelo and that's the only thing i remember"

He heard shocked gasps from the other three inhabitants in the room. He was getting confident now he was getting better maybe he was suffering from a huge sickness and amnesia was the side effect...

So he took a small step forward and promptly fainted.

Two days before

Dumbledore sighed . He had got the news from Molly about Nico di Angelo several hours before. They had obviously thought the boy was a wizard of a different kind. Why won't they? For as long as they are alive they wizards had thought that they were the top of the food chain, the all powerful-being, just like how muggles think they are above all other animals. He was amused about what his fellow wizards would think if the world of demigods and gods were revealed to them.

He remembered just how baffled he was when he first met Lady Hecate the day after he refused to be the Minister of Magic. He was amazed to learn about the Greek world; how those stories of muggles who were comparatively less powerful than them were closer to the truth than they were. He was completely thrilled and fascinated to learn about those who were much much more powerful. Apparently after the founders of Hogwarts he was the only one lady Hecate had revealed the other world, and he understood the importance of keeping both worlds completely apart from each other.

That is until now

Hecate had come to Dumbledore in a dream and had consulted him on how to defeat the upcoming war with Tom Riddle that has the power to destroy the wizarding world of Britain.

"Albus, Wizards are mere humans, We cannot win this War with Magic alone , if we want Harry Potter to live and Win all of these.. it is time for the wizarding world to seek the help of demigods, specifically the help Nico di Angelo, the brother of Hazel Levesque"

Dumbledore had heard about Hazel Levesque and Nico di Angelo plenty from Hecate, he knew that Nico Di Angelo had fought in the Titan war and now the Giant war and was apparently the ghost king and a son of Hades ( a son of Hades of death to kill Lord Voldemort? ✨✨Purfect ✨✨)

"Lady Hecate, it's generous of you to offer , but, won't it be dangerous for the two worlds to meet and Wizards to know about half-bloods and vice versa?"

"Well, right now yes it is" . And then lady Hecate had laughed. "you know you worry too much Albus, I had talked to Hera and she had started her schemes again, Hecate rolled her eyes; Molly Weasley will have something to tell you right now and you'll know what to do, "Ahh" she had looked at what seems like an imaginary watch "time to start my vacation " And then POP! She was gone

"She was scheming with Hera? What for ; after knowing about the Greek word Hera had quickly become one of Dumbledore's least favourite gods. Oh he knew about Hera's meddling alright; he knew he was a hypocrite to complain saying as he was doing the same with Harry's life but still "Sheesh".

He had gotten the news from Molly and had come face to face with the ghost king and to say Nico di Angelo was not at all what he was expecting would be an understatement.

To begin with, he was expecting a much more grown man, much more build like you'd think of heracles. What he saw was a boy not even 14 , He was younger and thinner than Harry. He was unconscious and shivering; Dumbledore for all his abilities, couldn't even process the fact that this little kid has fought in not just one but 2 wars. Because of the gods he had thought angrily and now they (including him) had decided to send him to fight (and die )in another war for literal strangers.

Dumbledore had never felt angrier at the gods.

Molly was informing how Fred and George had found the kid unconscious in Diagon Alley while going to work at their newly opened joke shop. As long as Dumbledore knew Nico does not know the existence of a wizarding world aa Hecate had made it clear it was not time.... yet

Will woke up to sunshine.  

He was feeling really happy. He had a great night with Nico and the Seven yesterday. Despite Leo's cheeky grin, Jason's not at all subtle wink,  Annabeth and Percy dove eyes and  Reyna s silent observation; Will's eyes only had time for Nico's dark chocolate ones; He feels like he's drowning in them; loving as they lightened up at the word "Mythomagic"  transforming him into that excitable kid 10 year old Will had crush on.

Still have a crush on.  It was difficult to pinpoint Will's feelings towards Nico. He was disappointed and angry learning Nico was leaving Camp ; he was always angry or at least trying to be angry at the shorter boy(and failing miserably). Even then Nico di Angelo made Will feel the happiest even without trying.

In short Will was in high spirit.

Well, until Nico was not found in his Cabin.

"It's been a month! Kayla, he's been gone for a month!"

"Will relax, maybe he has some work in the underworld; a mission from Hades or something"

"I don't think he'll leave for a freaking month without telling anybody Kayla, he promised me on the river Styx that he'll stay; it's something else.., Something's wrong i can feel it"

"Well... Chiron called a meeting. Jason , Annabeth and Percy would be here ....Hell, half of Camp Jupiter is searching for him right now, Will.... Where ever he is, We'll find him "

"And ...it seems like they have arrived "

"Hey Will!" Boomed in Percy Jackson's voice. Percy, Annabeth and Jason were walking towards him.  

"Hello guys." Will said warily.

It's Percy Jackson. To be honest Will had mixed feelings about this guy. Don't get him wrong, he had nothing against percy for gods' sake the kid had saved the camp for more than he can count anr he has mad respect to him for standing up to freaking gods, he like the guy okay? It's just he doesn't get why EVERYONE is falling for him . Yeah he's handsome and has a hero complex and all that but...he doesn't save everybody okay....like Micheal. Percy couldn't save Micheal; he was with Piper on Percy, he cannot see why half the camp is drooling over this guy.  He might like black hair but Percy was definitely not his type.

"Or maybe you are just jealous because Nico used to have a crush on him."  

A small annoying  voice in his head said.

"Shut up, he said to that voice "

"Hello Earth to Will, Earth to Will, " Percy said waving his hand. 

"When did you last sleep man ? You look Horrible...um no offence."

"None taken i feel horrible....he rubbed his temple, it's just...i am worried about Nico you know and the infirmary...it's a lot "

Everybody's faces turned to worry now 

"So it's true huh, Nico's really missing." Jason said. 

"Are you sure He's missing? I mean he has a streak for leaving Camp without informing anyone.....it's just i thought he would stay this time you know he seemed really eager to stay"

"Yeah...I don't think he left either. It's ...it's something else. I think..i think he's in trouble"

"Don't worry Will, We will find him". Annabeth spoke for the first time. Her grey eyes pierced into his blue ones with such clarity like she knew exactly  what he was going through. Like she's the only one who will understand him.

Will took their hands and together they ran to the big house.

"We'll find him."

"As you all know, Nico di Angelo has been missing for the  past month. We have send several search parties but everything has being since unsuccessful. We have  also been in contact with  Rachel Dare, She'd inform us if a quest is involved".

At the mention of 'quest' both Percy and Jason winced.

"Are you sure it'll come to that, Chiron...i could really do with not having to die every few seconds 

"We can only hope it won't, Percy but we can never be sure."

"Wait....there's not another camp the gods have been hiding from us, is there? "

"No Percy Camp Jupiter and Camp half-blood are the only camps there is"

Everyone lets out a collective relief.

Afterwards they iris messaged Frank, Hazel and Reyna. Their worrying faces mirrored Will's own.

"So, there's no  news of him."  Hazel sighed

"We have already sent search parties from Camp Jupiter to all the stops where he usually ends up after shadow travel  but we have got no positive response...yet"

Reyna said with her usual poker face on  but anyone could tell she was worried about Nico.

"Well , i have decided to go to the underworld myself, i think it'd be better you know ...even if I'd have to face Pluto ..it's just it pisses me off you know how he is not responding to any of my prayers!! It's just.." and then she said  something  which Wil was pretty sure would have made put the nuns to shame back in her time.

Frank was looking worridly at her. When they were ready to disconnect Frank had said :"it's just that Nico would be the last person i want  to go missing, not just because he is Nico but also because with his shadow travel, it'd literally be like searching for a needle in a haystack "

When they were all going out , Chiron had called Will;

 "Look i heard you are over working yourself again; Kayla and Austin had asked me to temporarily delegate the infirmary duties to them; take care of yourself and don't loose hope Will."

Easy for Chiron to say, he's not going crazy, he's not loosing his mind.

Nico, where are you?

Somewhere far away, miles away, safer to say even a universe away, the subject of all this commotion was happily getting ready to have  another great Weasley breakfast .

Harry Potter watched as Nico di Angelo animatedly chatted with the Weasley twins about some muggle cards. Arms frailing and eyes twinkling he resembled greatly a firecracker about to burst.

Harry couldn't believe that it has only been three months since Nico di Angelo has joined their not-so-little Weasley clan. After the assurance from good ol' Dumbledore, all of them were quick to adapt to Nico living with them. Harry and Nico had even started a little club referring to themselves as the only black heads of the Weasley family. Harry had eventually taken a great liking to Nico (not only because of the black heads adopted by Molly Weasley club) but he found Nico's situation to be very similar to his own.

Nico like him was a wizard from the muggle world with seemingly little to no exposure to the Wizard World despite being a powerful wizard himself.  Or maybe that was because of his Amnesia, but Nico to Mr Weasley's great happiness knew about rubber ducks, muggle cards and Cinderella rather than than (to Mrs Weasley's great disappointment he didn't knew about Gilderoy Lockhart, Chocolate frogs or tales from Beedle the Bard) but strangely he didn't seemed to be much familiar with the muggle technology. And it was not just in that, Harry thought they were similar, there was the thing of distant relations . Of course with his Amnesia Nico couldn't remember his family members but there was always an involuntary shudder whenever the topic was brought up. Harry didn't know if Nico himself realised this but he had stayed enough time with the Dursleys to be willing to bet on some galleons that Nico's wizarding family has a direct connection with Nico's Amnesia. Dumbledore's quick fondness of Nico and his insistence that Nico should stay with the Weasley family proved all their unspoken theory of Nico's own. He watched Nico giving open chess challenge to Ron and he happily agreed.

Ron and Nico's bond was another pleasant surprise (the only other person Nico bonded that instantly was with Sirius but that was after they made sure Nico was not Voldemort-infected). Since the day he arrived Nico had an instant liking to Ron after playing Wizard chess with him the first time. He had known all the rules of chess but when he saw the chess pieces move on their own for the first time, He jumped excitedly from his seat and exclaimed loudly that: "That's so Cool"(Harry was never so violently reminded of Colin Creevey until then). He had instantly demanded to play a round with Ron and even though (unsurprisingly)⁴ it was Of course Ron who had won but it had taken quite an amount of time that after the game Ron had exclaimed proudly that Nico had great strategies that it was actually quite hard for him sometimes to one up him. Nico had loved the praise and since then Nico hady demanded almost daily chess competitions where Nico would constantly try to defeat Ron. Ron said it was a bother as it interfered with Quidditch practices but Harry knew Ron secretly enjoyed them. Nico's hero worship on him made Ron react even more motherly and protective of him which Harry and Hermione secretly thought was adorable.

And for Harry, Growing up alone he had always wondered what it's like having siblings, He always envied Ron for having SO MUCH (but now that living with Ron he also realised the negative side effects too.) But with Nico whose life seems to be so similar to his own and whose relatives also seem to be awful, Nico was like a comrade in arms and as they warmed up to each other he kind of cannot help but think that this might be what having younger siblings be like. It felt like he finally got his long-awaited chance at being a big brother too.

Today Dumbledore (His lovely Head master who told everyone he knew to ignore him for the past couple months for his safety) showed up. Dumbledore was extremely found of Nico, Maybe equal to or even more than Harry himself, which should have made Harry jealous but it only fueled his sympathy for the boy because it's obvious Dumbledore knows Nico's past and his past was well not.... highly recommended by him

Dumbledore had an exciting news to share. He said Nico's name has been written in the book of acceptance making him eligible to go to Hogwarts.

which made Nico laugh in hysterical causing Sirius to ruffle his hair proudly which gave the twins and Ginny enough distractions to chant "Nico's getting in Hogwarts!" "Nico's getting in Hogwarts! " Until

"CALM DOWN EVERYONE!" Molly Weasley said.

"Yeah let the old man speak " Nico said hi-fing Sirius. After hearing about hogwarts. All Nico wanted was to join the school and everyone had agreed that going to Hogwarts might help Nico regain his memories They were ofcourse sceptical about bringing Nico to Hogwarts now that it's sure Voldemort is all up and plotting. But it is very hard to stay cautious about a 13 year old geeky boy who constantly gets hyper excited at every bit of magic that he can find.

Even for the  constantly vigilant Mad-Eye Moody.

"Nico has some seriously undiagnosed ADHD"

Hermione was saying rolling her eyes at both Nico and the twins who were trying to set up a dungbomb under a poor unassuming Percy Weasley's chair.

Harry laughed at the chaos that then unfolded.

Certainly, Nico di Angelo had become an accidental but a very welcome part of the Weasley family.

Just like him.

Calling the last three months hectic would be an understatement for even Annabeth Chase. From figuring out Nico's Whereabouts, to trying to console an almost inconsolable Will Solace and having to drag back a completely furious Jason Grace and Percy Jackson from storming into Olympus when they finally realised Nico's Whereabouts while wanting to give a piece of her mind to Her Lourdess Hera was even for her a lot .

"So, to get this clear, there's a group of mortals you blessed who have immense magical power...who call themselves wizards and basically created a whole world for them all because you were bored ." Percy had said it simply looking straight at Hecate.

"Mm ...but bored is putting it mildly Perseus"

"And because of your awesome idea of giving mortals more power than they can handle has now led to this Tom Riddle guy misusing that power, defying death and causing destruction in your magical Barbie dream house and Now Nico is taken without his consent of course, to save a world that he didn't even know existed in the first place?"

Percy was getting more hysterical with each sentence. Annabeth intertwined her fingers with his trying to soothe him out. This was hitting too close home for him and for Jason who was clenching his fists and shivering slightly.

"Yes Jackson, and If you demigods hadn't created such a havoc and tried to enter Olympus; this should have been revealed to you much later  but you have been quite insistent on your search that I decided to take pity upon your mortal antics"

"Or you were afraid Jason and Percy might overthrow Olympus; or at least cause major damage to your throne that you will be thrown out of Olympus; because most gods didn't approve of your vision to create a Wizarding World, did they? So you really don't want any major blow ups that will gain their attention".

Hecate had the graciousness to roll her eyes at Annabeth.

"Always thought you were nosy, Daughter of Athena just like that Nerdy Mother of yours but for your information this was not my....way of handling the situation. As you might have already guessed Annabeth, I daresay Hera gave me the idea. Anyways, like I have said, taking your...concerns for your cousin into consideration you are allowed to join and complete the mission with him.

"We are taking our cousin back with us and letting you deal with the stupid mess of a world you created Hecate, Demigods are done taking care of your messes."

Hecate looked at Percy Jackson and Annabeth got the weird feeling that if it was anyone else they would be blasted to death there and then. But Percy Jackson has always been the chaos of a Hurricane that even the gods couldn't predict.

That even the gods suffer consequences from.

Before a potential blast can happen Jason Grace was standing in between both Hecate and Percy.

"He's right Hecate, None of us are going in for another mission and besides as this is not a....um well known issue ...there has not been an official prophecy for a mission from Rachel"

"If not getting an official prophecy from the Oracle is your issue, then we can arrange that."

"No no no just ... no prophecies Okay, We are just going there for Nico and We'll keep the peace and will not reveal our identities to the Wizarding World but Percy's right; We are not going there to partake in another war. Never again"

"Well then"; Hecate said as she was opening a magical portal opening to the Wizarding World of Great Britain (Britain! They are going to Britain!!) and Annabeth wanted nothing more to wipe off her invisible smirk from her stupid face there  like she knew something that they don't . 

Like She knew they would have to stay.

"And remember the rules of magic that I taught you ; it's not the time to reveal your identities to the Wizards...yet" That was said in a quiet and discreet manner

"WHAT "

"Nothing; just don't blow your cover like you blew everything else up; Perseus Jackson."

Before Percy can open his mouth to say something that will definitely get him blown up Annabeth and Jason were dragging him to the magical portal.

"We are not going to stay there to reveal anything to anyone, Hecate,. Like I said Not another War" Jason was firm.

"Fine With me Jason Grace but tell were you that behind the times to listen to Justin Beiber's 'Never Say Never' or were you always just too old for good pop?"

 The three of them were just gasping at her.

"What...Only God of Music Apollo should keep track in pop music or something?"

As they were disappearing in a pop of Godnesses the last words they heard were :

"Teenagers"

*CRASH*

Ron woke  up hearing a loud CRASH in the middle of the night. His mind immediately raised to Harry. He turned to his side to see Harry sitting up mirroring his expression.

'Did you hear that too?'

Ron nodded. Both of them look towards the far end of the room where nico was sleeping peacefully in the makeshift bed. Thankfully, the noise hadn't woken him up as he was quite far and as well...as Nico slept like the dead.

'Should we?' Harry was looking at Ron
Ron looked at Nico sleeping peacefully unaware.

"No let's not. let's check what's happening by ourselves first"

Both of them ran to the living room to see it was already crowded. So the crash had woken everyone up. Ron was about to ask his dad what the commotion was about, when he noticed three more people in there.

The tallest among them was a blond boy (his hair immediately reminded ron of Malfoys and his immediate instinct was to flinch or punch but then he got reminded that Draco was the only teenage kid the Malfoys have .) The similarities ended there though. For once this kid was taller than Draco like 6 foot maybe and had strikingly blue eyes (maybe like his own not bragging he has strikingly blue eyes like Comeon ) like electricity glazes through them. He wore spectacles too which was a little lopsided Maybe he has the habit of constantly forgetting his glasses On his face  and searching for it everywhere else like Percy used to do. He had a disciplined, military stance as if he was trained to be a perfectionist, even seemed to be the same age as Percy. The tall kid was also leaning against  his dad in a defence stance which reminded him too much of Percy's abandonment for his comfort.

 Percy's name has become a new contestant for you-know-who as nobody dared to speak his name in the burrow. He quickly tried to  change his track of thinking by focusing on the person next to taller, blond, Percy-lookalike guy.

The guy next to him reminded Ron so much of Harry he got  whiplashed so bad he had to  turn to confirm if his best friend is still by his side.

This guy next in line was in complete contrast to tall, blond, Percy lookalike. if the taller boy showed military discipline and  restrained, this guy, it looks like he has never been able to be restrained or disciplined in his entire life. He  was maybe an inch or two shorter than taller-blond-percy-lookalike, had coal black hair (not as messy as Harry's though) and green eyes (differently green though; crazy see green eyes; reminded him the way Harry looked at him when he suggested driving their dad's car to go to school during their second year) His hands were intertwined with the blond girl like that's the only reason he's not blowing them all up right now.

She's the ship's anchor that's holding him still.

(Ron got the sudden urge to hold Hermione's hands like that but then has to remind himself that they were not a couple and she probably doesn't even like him that way)

Look, Ron Weasley doesn't get scared easily (exception : spiders) But the one thing that every wizard can easily identify Is power and this kid had an overwhelming, unrestrained aura of power compared to the rest of them, that  Ron really, really wanted  him to leave.  
(Which also explains why all the adults seem so tensed too, they can also sense the power of this kid.)

Now the blond girl with grey eyes does look like the long lost, smarter sister of Draco Malfoy. Her eyes look like Hermione's when she's scanning the situation she seems to be the only one who seems to know what's happening in the trio which is good because ron really needs to know what the hell is happening here,  who these people are and what they are doing midnight  at the one place which should be impossible for anyone to find.

The trio was mumbling to each other in what seems like some other worldly language :

Main while Percy, Annabeth and Jason.

Percy: Alright,we are here can we like huddle up  and discuss like what  we are gonna do next, because I distinctively have no idea what hecate told us to do or care.

Jason: Dude Comeon if we huddle up now we'll lose our defence stance. We can't lose our guard we crashed into their building remember?

Annabeth: Yeah what about being silent? Why did you have to blow up bathrooms wherever you go.

Percy : Hey! Not my fault! Superman here should learn how to slow down especially when his sweet father is looking for any excuse to burn me to a crisp. I get nervous! Besides Hecate deserves this for not even bothering to teleport us here and giving a bunch of dyslexic kids an address to a super hidden place. Let's grab Nico and get out of here 

Jason: Wait are even sure, Nico's here?
Percy: Ofcourse, he's here! Have you seen how creepy this place is? it's right up his domain He'll buy this if it was sellable. At least Hecate chose his favourite aesthetics this time.

Annabeth: We can't  just grab him out of  here, causing a scene. Well..(looking at the shattered glasses of the window they crashed through) more of a scene. It's important we should keep this as peaceful as we can.

Jason: They are fighters and they are Wizards we don't know what we are dealing with. We are not even supposed to be here. Hey, Hecate said we can contact this guy who's supposed to know everything? What's his name.

Annabeth: Dumbledore. Yeah, well if Nico's here these guys have to know him. We have to keep this as deplomatic as possible . I don't think we should haul Nico here when they are already suspicious of us.
Jason: Yeah we can tell them to contact Dumble..dore?

Percy: And what should we do main while you say?

Jason: I don't know maybe like....small talk..like I am getting really distracted with that black haired kid's lightning in his forehead. Something about it seems different do you think he's related to Zeus or something??

Percy: Relax J-Boy, it's a scar and really small talk ...All these miles covered for small talk? Really dude?

Jason:  What they seems like good people!
Percy: Famous last words J.Grace, Famous last words.

Annabeth: Guys Focus! We are going in! Okay Percy Be in your Best Behaviour. 
Percy: HEY WHA-?

After what seems like an eternity In 10 minutes it seemed like the trip finally stopped talking and the Blond intelligent girl came forward.

"Hey, um sorry for bothering you guys and yeah for crashing your Window we really need you to contact Dumbledore? . It's really of urgent importance.

" Um..also Dumbledore? knows us.

"Sirius has already contacted him. He'll be here in a while. Oh um don't worry about the window" 

All of them had slowly lowered their Wands but none left the defensive stance better to be safe till Dumbledore arrives (which his principal seems to have a lot of explaining to do these days )

"Um .. " the blond boy seemed to be speaking to Harry now, Ron immediately threw a protective glance to Harry. He seems fine.

"I am sorry I have like  ADHD, so I get distracted a lot. "

"ADHD means Attention-deficit or hyperactivity disorder"

"I know what ADHD means, Hermione"

"Sorry "

"Well..um.. the blond boy continued :
"is that lightning symbol in your forehead?" 

"It's just a scar"

"Oh"

Are these insanely powerful kids after intruding into their hideout and blowing up their bathroom taps trying for....small talk?

"See, Jason I TOLD you it's just a scar; no need to get so paranoid" hauled the black haired guy. "Sorry about that My boy Jason here was just attempting small talk. 

"By the way, I am Percy "

Just like that all attempts at small talk crashed out of the window.

Annabeth: Thank the gods.

Jason: How  do you manage to freak out people everywhere you go

YOUR NAME IS PERCY???!

It feels like wherever Percy Jackson goes, he brings a hurricane with him. The exclamation was said by two identical twin brothers; Joksters for sure (Jason has been an innocent subject to Travis and Conor Stools' pranks too many times to not realise devilish smiles from miles away). But what is this place, where  he's able to find too many parallels of people from home? He knows all too well that that's not a good sign. 

Jason has been feeling uneasy ever since their last trip to Olympus. Dread only seemed to gwan on him more after the meeting with Hecate. Gods know how  relieved he was to know that Nico is alive and safe....(But safe for how long)

They all know not to trust any gods. Their whole lives depend on it. And Jason and his friends; they were war survivors. They know when a war is bubbling just  beneath the surface  preparing to swallow them as a whole.

He looks at Percy, who was talking to the Twin brothers, Percy returned the look with a hardened stare that reflects Jason's own. He doesn't even think the twins had time to notice. But that's the thing about Percy, Isn't it?

Contrary to popular beliefs (mostly due to his heightened goofiness) Percy Jackson was not an idiot. And Jason  knew that from their first meeting. Neither was him and especially not was Annabeth. They knew why they were brought here and  why Nico was brought here. The gods want them involved in the wizarding war.

 See,  Jason was never a fool, From the age of 2, Jason was snatched away from his sister to be raised by wolves to fight other's war. They raised a soldier for gods. That thought had made him sick to his stomach. When he was given his memory after all the wars, He had stopped sleeping because of the flood of memories filling his mind refusing to let go. He thought abandoning his position in New Rome,  could finally let him sleep without nightmares, leaving that life chosen by Hera behind. But even that night, the blood, the dead camaraderie and the screams, (friends, they were his friends!) flooded back into him and  he was not able to control his  knees as he fell into the ground with so much so much pain felt by so many people he loved. That was the first time Jason has ever cried after being adopted by Lupa. He cried for all the demigods who had lost their lives in war. He cried for himself, He cried for Reyna and Nico He cried for Leo, Percy, and Annabeth. He cried for his big sister Thalia, who was ripped apart from her family again and again. The first night in Camp Half blood  after defeating Gaia, Jason Grace cried for hours in his cabin until he lost his voice. He cried until there were no tears left to shed. Until his voice became hiccups that echoed through a huge yet empty cabin. As he had done several times in the past, he was  hugging himself to stop shaking until he heard small fearful footsteps approaching from a shadow. That was  the first time Nico di Angelo had voluntarily come to his cabin. Jason tried sitting up, trying to quit his shaking voice and wipe his snot, and tears when Nico quietly sat beside him and gave him an awkward hug.

With what seemed like willingness.

Jason was so shocked that he almost missed what Nico said 

"You are a good person Jason, That's why it hurts you so much"

Noo was ready to bolt out of the door but Jason was quicker.

"Comeon Neeks!, i control lightning here gotta be quicker than that!"

Nico seemed irritated and looked like he wanted to punch Jason then seemed to reluctantly decide against it. (probably because he can't reach the height)

"Game on Superman!"

"You got it " Jason had said maybe with too much enthusiasm as Nico just rolled his eyes.

"Whatever, Grace."

"Hey.Nico you are a good person too. A really good one, Don't forget that "

Nico stopped and gave him a small smile.

"Goodnight Grace"

"So Solace, huh?"

"Shutup "

     Jason has always been proud of Annabeth, Percy and Nico. How they are standing and sane after going through tartarus. Especially Nico..Annabeth and Percy at least had eachother, Di Angelo had none. But they are all irreversibly changed after the incident. Especially Percy. Jason shook when he first saw Percy after Tartarus because he can recognise those eyes anywhere. Those eyes are his in all his nightmares. Later Annabeth had conveyed Jason about the incident in Tartarus and Jason had tried the best to console her but Percy..looked like he has unleashed all his powers. He doesn't care about rules or quests or gods now. For anyone else Percy might have looked the exact same goofball. But Annabeth and Jason, Reyna, Nico and the seven knew...for the gods, Percy has never been more terrifying than he is now.

Percy's only here for his friends..He couldn't care less about another As long as Nico's safety is out of here, they can outrun any gods. And fight those they can't. 

Percy Jackson didn't care about anything other than his family.

Jason and Annabeth weren't that optimistic. They knew demigods can never outrun the gods.

                    "What's happening here?"

Jason, Annabeth and Percy looked up to see Nico di Angelo 's sleepy face after months.

Looking at him, Jason remembered the silent promise he made on that fateful night to Nico.

If his friends can't outrun the gods, he'll stay  to make sure they will.

Like any good soldier.
