Chapter Text

Faragonda hurredly covers the portrait saying gazing on the visage of some villains can draw their attention.

Faragonda makes it clear that Fairies can unlock specialized side-grades after Enchantix. Believix bypasses immunities by using a higher form of energy but is dependent on the belief of others for its strength. Base power is weaker than Enchantix.
Various wings are replaced with each Fairy getting her own spell that boosts the whole team. Stella gets Zoomix (lets them all gain the ability to teleport for a limited time), Flora gets Tracix, Musa gets Speedix, Bloom gets Valorix (Offensive power up), Aisha gets Acroix (improved dodging and flexibility), and Tecna gets Skillix (heightened control over how their spells can be directed).

Gifts now open the possibility to use Charmix on top of Enchantix. Winx pair up to take on Greater Fairies. They gain their upgraded Charmix in pairs when facing the Greater Fairies. Flora and Tecna vs Diana. Musa and Aisha vs. Arora into Nebula.
Sky rushes in at the last moment to prevent Nabu from receiving a lethal exposure to the Void but dies himself. Bloom tries to heal him but ends up corrupted and becomes Dark Bloom. She traps Sky’s spirit and goes to lead the Fairies of Vengeance. Nabu is out of commission for the rest of the season but goes to get treatment and lives.

Erandor finds out about his son’s fate and leads the offensive against Dark Bloom. In his rage and grief, he declares Diaspro the new heir to Eraklyon’s throne. Despite being outmatched, Roxy confronts Bloom. She throws Blooms own words, from earlier in the season, right back at her. Her belief in herself causes her Believix to become slightly more complete and she’s able to heal Bloom’s heart a tad. Her dress becomes slightly more elaborate, but not quite as complex of those the Winx have. Bloom gets her boosted Charmix by purifying herself the remainder of the way and saying goodbye to Sky properly. Stella gets hers by pacifying Erandor. The latter amends his declaration to require Diaspro to prove herself with remedial courses at Alphea and elects not to punish Bloom.

The Wizards of the Black Circle now challenge the Winx to a publicly broadcasted battle for the hearts of humanity. They get stripped of their powers and forced to work at Love and Pet, under the supervision of the Earth Fairies.

Notes:

The Winx band now serves as an opener and background to Musa’s performance. Bloom only sings in it because she sucks at playing musical instruments and has more salvageable vocal talent.
Magical Adventure does not happen. The Ancestral Witches will be dealt with in a later season.
Morgana’s backstory changed to Earth Fairies combining their, partially, recovered powers to craft the White Circle and make a crack in their prison. Morgana was sent out to scout and bide her time until her powers recover enough to use the White Circle to free her comrades. She fell in love, hid the White Circle, and abandoned her mission. Roxy got a deadly magical illness, and she was forced to use her powers to heal her. The Wizards sensed her magic and re-captured her before removing all memories of her existence from Roxy and Klaus.

Chapter Text

Starts with a final performance as it’s time for the Winx to start preparing for their respective positions in their individual worlds. Happens at the UN, to celebrate a contract being made so Earth can catch up with the Magical Dimension’s technological advancements. Oil companies trying to use the new tech to augment their refining, instead of Earth switching to the Magical Dimension’s cleaner energy sources being a “small” snag. An oil refinery has a disaster, due to shoddy implementation, and some magically enhanced oil gets accidentally teleported to Andros.

Winx go back to their home worlds and Aisha attends the coronation ceremony.

Tritanus jail break happens, and Aisha uses Enchantix to give chase. His new form is too fast for even her, underwater, and he manages to get away with stealing the power of Andros’ selkie. Trix tag along and store the stolen power in the Vacuums, as thanks for freeing them.

Magical Dimension forms a coalition to find, and arrest, Tritanus and the Winx are chosen to lead it, due to already working well together.

The Winx return to Alphea for clues on the reason he went after a Selkie and to see if there’s a specialized power that will let them catch up to his blistering speed. Faragonda informs them about the Infinite Ocean. Bloom asks why Valtor didn’t go after it and Faragonda guesses he wasn’t able to amass quite enough power to bypass the Dragon Flame’s incompatibility with aquatic powers by the time of his defeat.
They consult the Book of Fairies and find out about Sirenix. Faragonda warns Bloom that Valtor’s incompatibility also applies to her, but she insists on going anyway. They’re warned again, this time that the trials for Sirenix will put their ability to use magic itself at risk.

They go to Lake Roccaluce to retrieve the Sirenix Boxes required to undergo them. Daphne reveals that she, along with the other Nymphs, acquired Sirenix to use the Infinite Oceans power to turn the tide against Darkar’s forces, but the Ancestral Witches cursed Sirenix rendering her barely able to hold on long enough to get Bloom to safety. The Winx use the boxes anyway and gain temporary usage of Sirenix. Harmonix is now Sirenix but with a bit more individuality, such as Tecna getting manta ray wings along the vein of her Magic Winx ones.

The Winx now split their attention between hunting for Tritanus and completing Sirenix’s trials. Bloom struggles to keep up with the others, due to her low compatibility with the transformation, while Tecna notices a pattern to the locations of the Selkies and trials. The two go to Zenith to investigate it and predict Tritanus’ next target. They direct Stella and Flora to head Tritanus off in Solaria’s ocean, while Aisha and Musa complete a trial on Melody. They’re still a bit behind and Tritanus escapes with another Selkie’s power. Stella is able to bond with the Selkie and realizes doing so solves the riddle for one of the trials. The Winx then go back and bond with the Selkie’s who had their powers previously taken. The Winx get back together to block Tritanus’s attempt on Domino. The Winx overpower Tritanus, but he outpaces Bloom and leads the others into an ambush by the Trix. By the time she catches up, Domino’s Selki has already been drained. Her bonding seems to increase her compatibility somewhat.
Revisiting Lake Roccaluce onward follows a similar pattern to the show’s, albeit with Sirenix becoming permanent instead of initially gained, with Sirenix Spells restoring pillars. Nabu comes back around this time, with his treatment finished. Musa’s wish is saved for later, rather than just disappearing. The weapons that the show used for Harmonix are now used to cast Sirenix Spells.

Bloom is captured instead of Aisha then uses Flame of Sirenix to temporarily transfer the power of her Dragon Flame to the later. Bloom gives up on reviving Sky with her Sirenix wish and instead uses it to break the Curse on Sirenix. Daphne is then able to refuel Bloom, similarly to how she did so in the season three movie, for her own revival. Meanwhile Aisha fights Tritanus to a standstill until Tecna analyzes him and notices his power is concentrated in his trident. Nereus manages to disarm Tritanus with a sneak attack and Aisha breaks the trident with a Dragon Flame boosted Tide of Sirenix. Tritanus meets the same fate he previously did. Everyone celebrates on Domino, except Daphne who is recovering from being returned to life, while also holding Aisha and Nabu’s wedding. Afterward they say their goodbyes and return to their own worlds.

Notes:

Stella’s fashion flops are gone, as they never made sense.

Chapter 3: Roxy Spinoff Season One

Notes:

Occurs concurrently to season five.

Chapter Text

First couple episodes introduce Roxy to her dorm mates, including Diaspro and Roy. Mirta and Amaryl are TAs, on an alternative program to graduating by becoming Enchantix Fairies. Roxy is good at combat and unique spells but needs help with first-level spells. Doesn’t get along with Diaspro, due to their respective feelings about Bloom. Roy chose to become a Fairy because he’s an Aisha fanboy. Guys usually choose the sorcerer route. He’s more talented with regular water magic but insists on using Morphix.
First couple episodes cover them getting adjusted to each other and then some mysterious creatures attack at the end of the second one. Mirta and Amaryl demonstrate that they’ve become able to transform directly into Charmix and maintain it. Amaryl uses a new attack where she controls a barrage of starlight, while Mirta uses more substantial illusions to convince the creatures that they’ve been bound. Mirta then remarks that they resemble beasts used for labor on her home world.

The group gets permission from Faragonda to check out Ephemera, the world of daydreams. Everyone but Amaryl is shocked to find out Mirta’s home is ruled by witches. Turns out her parents haven’t had much to do with her since she enrolled at Alphea.
On the way to the teleport station, Mirta describes Ephemera as a calm place, where most of the residents pursue their ideal illusory world. She also notes that they have an underground deal with Zenith for the improvement of VR.

No one seems out and about upon their arrival, but that doesn’t concern Mirta too much as the witches tend to keep to themselves. They plan to stay the night with a Fairy Godmother, who’s been trying to establish a proper foothold for fairies on the world. When they get there, a panicked Selena meets them. Turns out Eldora was arrested, and she’s been tasked with retrieving a pair of recently excavated books. Some new witch brainwashed the rulers and things have become rather unpleasant.

They sneak into the palace, with the help of Mirta’s knowledge and some minor Morphix application. Roxy controls a couple nearby bestial guards and gets them to lead the group to the books. Amaryl uses a controlled beam to cut a hole in the case containing the books, while Selina disables traps near them. They start towards Eldora’s cell but get discovered by a wizard who sends out an alarm. Now they transform and fight their way towards the teleport station. On the way the wizards and witches send a convergence attack towards Selina. Mirta swoops in to shield her, but her barrier is broken, and she takes the full force of the attack. Light bursts forth from her and Mirta gets her Enchantix. With her newfound power, Mirta deludes them long enough for them to get to the edge of the teleport station. The enemies approach right as they’re about to leave. Selina gets dragged away but manages to toss the brighter looking book to Mirta and they teleport back to Magix.

On their way back to Alphea there’s a minor news bulletin on the Shaman Witch advising Ephemera, but Tritanus is front and center. Faragonda consoles Mirta and promises to keep the book in a safe place. Mirta calls Lucy, and gets chewed out for not inviting her, then they share their worries about their home world. Lucy promises to bring a few friends if they want an alliance to get it back. Diaspro laments the fashion trends.

Faragonda agrees to pull a few strings on their behalf, but notes that a certain other crisis means it might take some time. Roy expresses disappointment at being too inexperienced to help on Andros but agrees to do what he can for his current friends. Amaryl worries about recent lack of communication from her parents but dismisses it and they resume their classes. Mirta starts Enchantix Training.

Roxy’s still struggling with First Level Spells, while Diaspro’s having difficulty with ethics. Roy suggests they tutor each other. Both shout him down but decide to give it a try anyway. Diaspro is unsurprised the Winx gave Roxy a rather patchwork education and Roxy pries into why her resentment runs so deep. After hearing about her side of the events for Bloom’s first year, Roxy questions why Sky isn’t the one Diaspro hates. Diaspro admits to being raised to see him more as a prize than a person and says it’s not in good taste to speak ill of the dead. Roxy counters by admitting she still bears some resentment towards her mother, despite thinking she had been dead for most of her life. After the heart to heart, they find working together surprisingly productive. Their grades improve somewhat and Diaspro’s Charmix appears when they briefly share a moment of celebration.

Amaryl’s concern over her parents’ silence becomes too much and she insists on going to Cosmosia to check things out. Roy insists on going with her, so she has someone sensible nearby and Mirta’s too worried about Ephemera but convinces Lucy to go in her place. Roxy and Diaspro are stuck with midterms, while Roy managed to scrape through them early.

On the way to the teleport station, Amaryl admits Cosmosia is another world ruled by witches. Her parents are more the type to plan for failure than disown. She explains that it’s the main location for researching astrology, and the witches there are the type to experiment with what they can do than the type to think of the consequences.

They arrive to see the place in complete disarray. Forces from Ephemera are attacking and Amaryl rushes towards her parents’ place. Roy makes note of how lovely the buildings would be if they weren’t being demolished. Lucy decides to help Cosmosia’s forces a bit by enhancing some bugs for sewing chaos.

Turns out her parents live in a fortified area within the capital and simply couldn’t get word out. They’re happy to find out their daughter is ok, but also ask if she’s given up on being a fairy yet. They spend the evening catching up.

They wake up to sounds of battle. Roy helps Amaryl convince her parents to come with her while Lucy scouts ahead. They decide to sneak through the buildings to avoid conserve their strength. On the way Amaryl’s mother takes out a rather wicked looking portable magic circle she’d found recently and wonders if it’s why they’re being invaded. It shoots out a beacon and Emphemera’s forces converge upon them. Their blasts cause the building to collapse and Amaryl holds it up with some minor Morphix support from Roy. Everyone else makes it out, but the collapse hits Amaryl. Her parents scramble to remove the rubble, while remarking that they knew becoming a fairy would be the end of her one day. In his rage and frustration Roy decides to let loose his water magic and washes Ephemera’s forces away with a massive tidal wave. In its aftermath Roy gets his Charmix. He washes the remaining rubble away and Amaryl’s father cradles her prone body. She starts levitating and stars fall out of the sky and gather around her body. Her eyes open and she transforms into her Enchantix. Lucy shows up noting that she’s secured a path out. Ephemera’s forces surround the teleport station, but Amaryl summons a bombardment from the sky and scatters them. They make it back to Magix visibly shaken but relieved.

Amaryl’s parents go with Lucy, since they’ll be more at home in Cloud Tower, wile Amaryl and Roy return to Alphea so they can report what happened to Faragonda. Amaryl hands Faragonda the portable magic circle and she expresses surprise and concern upon seeing it. Turns out it was a tool used by the Ancestral Witches and she places it in a very secure place in Alphea’s vault.
The group catches up and Faragonda say’s help will probably be ready soon, but they should see if they can get some favors of their own. Roxy and Diaspro aced their midterms. Amaryl joins Mirta in Enchantix training. With Roy and Diaspro gaining Charmix, Griselda starts giving the three students advanced Convergence training. Diaspro tries to get help from Eraklyon, but Erandor denies it as he doesn’t think she’s proved herself changed yet. Diaspro asks Roxy why she hasn’t tried her own kingdom yet and Roxy admits to not wanting to deal with Nebula.

While the others get ready for battle, Roxy and Diaspro head to Tir Na Nog. Nebula greets Roxy with sickly sarcastic sweetness. Talking to her grates on Roxy, but she begs Nebula for help. Nebula agrees to leading her forces in bashing some witch heads in, but only on the condition that Roxy owes her. Roxy briefly sees her Charmix flash into being and Diaspro comforts her on the way back to Magix.

They arrive at Alphea shortly followed by Nebula’s forces. Faragonda got Saladin, Codatorda, some of their senior Specialists and enlisted Avalon’s help in getting some of his paladins to join the effort. Lucy brought Griffin and some of her senior witches. Diaspro’s parents caught wind and sent some guards with high spec ships. They decide to rescue the remnants of Cosmosia’s forces first and then use it as a springboard to free Ephemera as well.
The ride to Cosmosia is used for resting and finalizing plans. A picture on a newspaper clipping showed a mark on Ephemera’s forces, like Valtor’s, so the Enchantix fairies are supposed to work on removing it while the others subdue. Faragonda will join them using a youth potion to regain her Enchantix. It was overused during the war and the plant Griffin made it from only recovered enough recently.

Upon arrival Mirta makes illusory copies of the paladins and they surround portions of Ephemera’s, and a not insignificant number of Cosmosia’s as well, forces and then all three Enchantix Fairies shower them in Fairy Dust. They alternate helpers, while proceeding towards the castle. Amaryl’s bombardments prove very effective. Cosmosia’s rescue goes smoothly but, expectedly, the Shaman Witch isn’t to be found. They take time to recover before heading onward to Ephemera.

Ephemera has become a fortress of illusions and traps. Griffin’s forces work with the Paladins and Mirta to dispel and disarm. Going is much slower but Fairy Dust removing the marks allows them to grow their forces. Nebula’s reckless rushes make it look like she’ll get caught, but she tears through illusions as if they’re cobwebs. Roxy catches sight of a disturbed Selena but quickly looses sight of her. Instead, she comes face to face with the Shaman Witch. Roxy sends some freed beasts at her, but they’re easily batted away. Roy and Diaspro catch up to her and activate their Charmix upon seeing who they’re up against. The Shaman Witch boasts of how she’s already gotten most of what she wants from the tow planets and how her army being overcome is only a minor setback. She then attacks the three, who barely fend her off even with Convergence. A cheer erupts from the castle and Mirta and Amaryl join in against the Shaman Witch. With Charmix acquired Roxy can now activate her Believix spell Berserix. The group’s power greatly increases at the cost of their reason. They barely hold their minds together for a Convergence spell and the Shaman Witch is seemingly destroyed by an immense light.

While the Winx celebrate on Domino Alphea has its own Party for the liberation of Cosmosia and Ephemera. Diaspro doesn’t initially plan on joining in but Roxy and Roy drag her to the dance floor anyway.

A shadow sneaks into Alphea’s vault and snatches the portable magic circle.

Notes:

Note: Probably retconned Cosmosia. Didn’t see a planet listed for Mirta so that’s spun form whole cloth. Hope it’s worth it.

Chapter 4: Season Six

Chapter Text

Starts with showing the girls in each of their home worlds. Bloom learning from Oritel and Marion that having the lion’s share of the Dragon Flame doesn’t mean they can’t teach her a thing or two about wielding it. Stella seeing to her subjects. Musa holding a concert, while Riven watches from the front row. Tecna tinkering away with new gadgets. Aisha her honeymoon with Nabu. Daphne teaching at Alphea from a wheelchair, while she gets used to having a body again.
Cuts to the Trix looking in Gardenia once more, hoping to find a way to defeat the Winx. Mitzi is about to throw away a cheap book of Halloween tales when they spot her. They notice it has a strange energy and Darcy mesmers her into giving it to them. They notice it has some sort of complex illusion active and go away to decipher it.

Flora is in Pixie Village researching the Tree of Life, as it doesn’t match the plants in the Magic Universe.

Cloud Tower is about to start the new year. Just as Griffin is about to welcome the new students, Selina arrives with Acheron’s shade at her back. Griffin attacks, but Selina counters with her energy snakes and drives her back. Griffin removes a vial from a belt on her hip and drinks it before launching a stronger blast and setting up a protective barrier around the students. Selina’s being driven back when Acheron starts reading from a dark book. He recounts a winged beast the Ancestral Witches created in a war millennia ago. How it consumed the light of fairies and made its way towards Domino. How the Elders of Magix sealed it away as a castle in Magix. He then asks the Legendarium to release it from its shackles, so it may once more wreak havoc. Cloud Tower begins to warp and Griffin is caught in a fist from its walls. Griffin frees herself but gets caught by a combined spell from Acheron and Selina turning her into a crow. In her last moment, Griffin sends a telepathic message to the students.
Acheron and Selina gets a promise of loyalty from the students then make their way to Griffin’s office. He mentions needing more power to fully free the Beast that Devours the Light. First he needs to weaken the Fairies of the current era so he sets Griffins crystal ball on the Pixies. He then reads from the Legendarium again to summon the Gloomy Wood Trolls.

Flora sees the trolls attacking and transforms into her Enchantix to fight them. The trolls put up a decent fight, but Flora manages to subdue them. Their attack’s success didn’t really matter as Acheron continues his tale, now concerning tiny creatures born from a magical tree. He then sends both the trolls and the Pixies back into the Legendarium. Flora manages to escape with Zing, Cherie and Caramel. Seeing how she fights; Acheron decides to invade Linphea in retaliation for her interference.
Linphea announces its once in a century festival for weapons imbued with the forces of nature, to be held at its middle school. Specialists and Paladins send representatives to win them for their respective martial and mixed best. Daphne is attending with Thoren, a healer Paladin assigned as her therapist and bodyguard. The Winx are sent to attend as dignitaries for their respective worlds and cheer for their Specialists, sans Aisha. Nabu is present studying the imbuing itself though. The candidates are narrowed down in a single combat tournament montage. The Winx’s Specialists, Thoren and a Paladin newcomer Nex are the finalists. Brandon receives a great sword of light, Timmy receives a crossbow of Fire, Helia receives a lasso of water, Thoren receives a hammer of earth, Nex receives a halberd of air and Riven receives a bolas of shadow. Brandon isn’t happy to see Thoren, due to some nasty pranks the guy played on Sky when they were younger. Thoren wins due to Brandon’s unstable emotional state, while Timmy wins against Nex. Helia ends up taking first place. Riven gets second, due to issues with a bit too much affinity to shadow.

The award ceremony is cut short by Acheron and Selina’s attack. Flora anticipated them and Linphea’s middle school has all-natural defense mechanisms ready. Soldiers on armored giant ladybugs intercept the young witches from Cloud Tower. The Winx transform into Enchantix and try to intercept Acheron and Selina. The two flee deep into Cloud Tower while the Winx pursue them.

The Winx enter the auditorium, which now has a spine and ribs along the walls and ceiling. Selina and Acheron are just standing on the stage. Stella launches a blast at them, but it veers off and hits a rib. Aisha tries to entrap them with similar results. Acheron boasts that their attacks aren’t strong enough to pierce his barrier. The Winx ready a Convergence attack, but the ribs start rapidly absorbing their magic. Tecna analyzes the bones right before she’s completely drained. Stella uses the last of her power to teleport the Winx out of Cloud Tower. Bloom is the only one who could maintain her transformation and the Specialists catch the Winx on their bikes. The Treants wake up and turn on Linphea’s citizens. Miele leads a group of fellow middle schoolers in opposing Acheron’s forces but they’re quickly overwhelmed. Selina leaves a group of Witches in charge, and they go to look for more sources of energy in other worlds.
The Witches free the Winx and reveal that they’re Griffin loyalists. Linphea will be safe, so they can try to find a way to oppose Selina and her spectral friend. There aren’t enough of them for a repeat, so the Winx have to make this one count. Faragonda contacts Daphne about a finding in Alphea’s vault, so they all take the teleporter back to Magix.

They meet Faragonda and Eldora inside the vault. Eldora mentions that the bright book is the positive half of the Legendarium and produces the key to it. She says that a fairy with a pure heart can open it so Musa is chosen. She opens it up and a bit different Acheron pops out. He was originally on the Council of Elders and used his magic to craft a book capable of tapping into the Legendarium world, a realm where myths are real, and dragging figures from it into the real world. The Ancestral Witches cast a spell to corrupt him and he was only able to keep a semblance of himself intact by sealing himself inside the book and splitting it in two. He had a workshop on Tir Na Nog, so the Winx agree to have Roxy contact Nebula and head there.

Nebula’s visibly terrified of Bloom and agrees in order to not risk offending her. Good Acheron leads the group to a hidden corner of the castle and removes an illusory barrier. Inside the workshop lie seven wands, on a workbench, and an undying vine archway. He once summoned seven mythical fairies to aid in the previous war, but they left to create more dimensions and only their wands remain. By fusing their Charmix with them and completing respective trials the Winx should be able to obtain new powers from Earth’s myths. The girls have too little magic to even summon their Charmix, so Bloom uses Flame of Sirenix to lend some of her power to them. That works and their respective Charmix adorn the wands. The five girls then walk through the gate and disappear.
Two trials finish up the first episode and three take up the next. Outfits are derivative of Bloomix. Musa has to fill the role of Hades with her dad as Orpheus and her mom as Eurydice. At its completion it’s revealed that her mom really did sneak into the trial and comforts her a bit. She tells Musa that deferring her Sirenix Wish was the correct decision, as she’ll need it later. Musa gains power over precious gems and metals. Flora has to take on the role of Izanami; getting Fujin and Raijin under control. She gains the ability to summon and control storms. Aisha takes on the role of Sanzang in a very abridged version of Journey to the West. She gains the ability to summon solid projections of the animal companions and a chant that disables her target. Stella’s trial is a bit different as Khonsu requires her to best him in a game of Senet. It takes quite a few tries, but her willpower allows her to endure and get a single win through plays of pure insanity. She gains the power to turn back the time of objects along with manipulating existing light through lenses and mirrors. Tecna takes on the role of Odin seeking knowledge from the well. She endures visions of Ragnarok followed by two great serpents facing off against a winged being of darkness. She gains runes with various effects. She can also call upon mechanical versions of the ravens Thought and Memory to scout and spy for her.

Flora whips up a potion to bind the Treant’s roots and they head back to Linphea. The Griffin loyalists pretend to be defeated while the potion is applied, and good Acheron calls upon the Lenugia to restore them to their state as guardians. Selena and Acheron return, but the Winx don’t follow them into Cloud Tower and ultimately drive them off. Tecna applies a gadget, from Timmy, to its base as it leaves. Riven still faces problems from having a bit too much compatibility with his weapon and accidentally hits Musa during the fight. Nex decides he could learn a thing or two from the Specialists and goes to Red Fountain as an exchange student.

With the diplomats freed, the Winx once more have access to the resources from the allied planets. Tecna reveals that she had Timmy track the places Cloud Tower went, while they were getting their new powers, and that the device serves both as a beacon and a later surprise based on the last of her data. The next projected attack is on the Golden Auditorium, a mental asylum that calms its patients with a special organ.

The Winx lie in wait and Acheron doesn’t waste time before opening his Legendarium. He reads about how the great organ may play soothing tunes now but serves as a prison for beings of mischief and malady. He summons the Pandemonium Sprites to burst forth from a container at the back of the organ and once more let loose their madness-inducing cries. The soldiers under the Winx start attacking each other. Tecna manages to apply protective runes to Musa and herself. Good Acheron is unaffected because he has no physical mind for them to infect. He directs Musa in making a new container and Tecna uses her covered left eye to search for the proper runes to line its insides. Good Acheron then reads of the Sprite’s defeat from his own Legendarium to finish resealing them and attaching the new container to the organ. Its sounds remove the Sprite induced affliction. Acheron decides to take a bit of time with his next target and retreats. Bloom hasn’t contributed as much these past two battles but still feels drained.
Bloom receives an invitation to reminisce about Sky from Erendor. Tecna’s plan doesn’t require much input at present, so she stations her troops at Alphea, with Daphne and Thoron before leaving. Riven decides he has a real problem and speaks plainly with Musa about his fear of hurting her again. Eldora asks to borrow the Winx’s Legendarium for a bit, since she was present when the two books were dug up. Bloom reaches Eraklyon only to find out that Diaspro has received the same invitation. She’s mellowed a good deal and Bloom finally apologizes for their initial meeting. Diaspro will probably never like her, but they aren’t enemies anymore. Diaspro cries and realizes that Sky was someone who could have remained a good friend to her. Erendor and Queen Samara decide to use the event to also make Bloom an honorary citizen, since she would have gained that status upon being wed to their son.

Bloom is informed that Acheron has laid siege to Domino, but her fatigue gets worse. Diaspro escorts her back to Alphea, where Daphne aids Thoron in assessing her status. Having a large amount of power ripped out of her and then using Flame of Sirenix strained her body too much and she’s losing the ability to channel the Dragon Flame. Diaspro recalls a story she found, while looking for ways to finish off Bloom, but it requires them to enter Domino. She volunteers to pretend to go back to her old ways and take Bloom to Acheron as a “hostage”.

The plan succeeds and she takes Bloom to the Vortex of Flames. Acheron realizes he’s been deceived and uses the Legendarium to call forth the Fire Eaters. Beings who evolved to withstand the Dragon Flame, but ultimately consumed themselves and became one with the Vortex of Flames. Diaspro holds them off and shoves Bloom inside of the Vortex. She puts all her strength into one last shield, but the Fire Eaters overwhelm her. She seems to take her last breath, but her gems turn into a powdered cyclone, and she gets her Enchantix.

Bloom feels herself surrounded by flames, but they suddenly turn cold. She’s in darkness and then is met with silvery eyes. The Great Dragon’s journey continues even in death. Its fierce flames replaced by the calm chill of the afterlife. It takes her to the gates of paradise, where she meets Sky. She wants to remain with him, but he tells her that the Magic Universe still needs her help. He hopes she can have a full life and return to him without regrets. They embrace and then the Great Dragon motions that it’s time for her to go. She returns to the Vortex and embraces the deathly chill on the way. She transforms into her Mythix and uses her new cold-burning flames to quell the Fire Eaters. She joins forces with Orite, Marion and Diaspro to drive off Acheron and Selina’s forces.

Bloom rejoins with the rest of the Winx only to find out Acheron’s siege was a feint. He summoned variants of Rumpelstiltskin and sent them with some of the more experienced witches to steal magic sources from various schools. Eldora mentions that with six Mythix users it’s possible to go into the Legendarium World and save the pixies, so long as he joins the one who goes. Aisha volunteers to be the one to take the risk and go. Good Acheron stands in the middle, and they use Mythix Convergence to open the portal. The rescue goes off without a hitch, but good Acheron gets taken by Acheron and Selina on the way out.

Cloud Tower shows up outside of Alphea, but Tecna’s gadget activates and the Winx regain their original powers. Their Mythix abilities gain boosts, such as Aisha’s animals getting Morphix weapons. Now protected from the Beast that Devours the Light, they go to get good Acheron back. Acheron has enough power, so he turns Cloud Tower fully into the Beast. Flora uses her new combined powers to stall it with a giant Venus Gobbler then goes to join the others.

They meet up with Roxy’s group on the way and go to stop Acheron, Selina and the Shaman Witch. They see Selina unconscious as the Shaman Witch pours power into Acheron reading to absorb good Acheron. They put their own powers into good Acheron and seem to be pulling ahead. Good Acheron is almost done when he stumbles across a section with a page torn out. Eldora enters triumphantly clutching the page. The Winx and Roxy’s group start to cheer, but she walks over next to the Shaman Witch and hands her the portable magic circle. She then proceeds to tear up the page. Good Acheron is fully absorbed, and he banishes the lot of them to a place between reality and fiction.

The group wakes up to find Selina looking at them with concern. They get ready to fight her when she apologizes and hugs Mirta. Turns out she wasn’t in control of her own body this whole time. The seventh Mythix Wand reacts to her, and she vanishes. She meets the remaining will of the Seven Mythical Fairies and they pour their power into her. She gains the ability to become a Mythix Fairy for the remainder of the day. Aisha reveals that she had Wu Kong snatch a piece of the final page. Everyone pools their power into Stella as she turns the piece’s time back to restore the bright Legendarium. They then get teleported back to reality and read the page together. Light bursts forth from Acheron and he’s replaced by the good version, now with a body. He sends back the Beast that Devours the Light and returns Cloud Tower to its regular position. The Shaman Witch remarks about still getting part of what she was after and vanishes with Eldora.
Alphea hosts a joint party over Acheron’s return to light. It also serves as the venue for Daphne and Thoren’s wedding. Roy and Nex are seen dancing together.

The Winx return to their respective planets but agree to keep in touch and watch out for the Shaman Witch’s return. A warrant is released for Eldora’s arrest.

Notes:

This one ended up rather long. Yes I did decide on villain Eldora due to Unicorn of War's jokes. They remind me of Golden Sun's Kraden.

Chapter Text

The students are returning for their year 3 studies. They get the usual speech about Enchantix. The group meets up to discuss events since the apparent defeat of the Shaman Witch. Things seem to be recovering for Ephemera and Cosmosia but there are small currents of magic going to unknown locations. Diaspro has noticed similar phenomenon on Eraklyon. Roxy suggests that their victory might not be as final as they thought and the group agrees to look out for signs of the Shaman Witch.
The commotion regarding Cloud Tower reaches them. Mirta worries about Lucy, but the witch shows up right on their doorstep. She fled when she realized Griffin was unlikely to succeed. She berates herself over her cowardice, but Diaspro consoles her. Griselda shows up and tasks the group with safekeeping of the Pixies. Bonding events happen with Zing noting her army has taken to Roxy, Cherie ominously suggesting Roy will be facing interesting times and Caramel saying she wants to bake the sadness out of Diaspro’s heart.

With Eraklyon also having oddities, Roxy gets the group to ask their friends and families to be on the lookout for signs of the Shaman Witch’s tampering. News of the Winx’s capture reaches them. Mirta worries about Flora with Roxy and Roy echoing the sentiment for their own favorite Winx. Amaryl and Diaspro laugh at the idea that the Winx will be down for long, since none of their efforts worked. This calms down the others a bit. Faragonda invites them to her office for some bad news. She’s discovered the portable magic circle has been stolen.

There aren’t signs of forced entry, so it must be someone already at Alphea. They visit Eldora’s new room, as she’s recently finished her recovery after spending the summer recuperating in Alphea’s medical wing. They try to question her about her captivity, but she says her memory is fuzzy. For the time being the group decides to focus on their classes, but keep an eye out for signs of the thief. Amaryl and Mirta have training preparing them to become Guardian Fairies for worlds not used to them. Roy’s been working on more traditional water magic and receives high marks for his execution. Roxy’s doing somewhat better with 1st level spells, but could still improve. Diaspro’s ethics class results are very good, so she’s on track to pass her own trials.
Roy gets a notification that someone found an irregularity with the Omega Portal. Griselda reluctantly agrees to let the group go to Andros. Taboc greets them and leads them to a spot at the base of the Omega Portal. There they spot the Shaman Witch’s symbol. Turns out the destabilization that occurred prior was less accidental than previously thought. Attempting to remove it seems to cause some sort of reaction deep underwater, so Tressa shows up to accompany them, with the Tritons having returned to their largely symbolic role. Ursula, an advisor to King Teredor agrees to activate the mark in tandem with their search.

Roy uses a spell to allow the group to breathe underwater. They transform and start their journey down, with Ursula periodically activating the mark to show them the way. They find themselves journeying down into the abyss. White sharks bar their path, but Roxy is able to part them, and even get a bit faster transportation in the process. They pass through a portal and find themselves flying through air. Amaryl slows Tabocs descent and they look around to find themselves surrounded by thousands of books. Taboc exclaims at them having found the legendary Acquarioteca. The light they were following is coming from a conch in the middle of the floor. Taboc goes to take the conch while Ursula presses firmly on the mark and shoots a sizable amount of magic into it. Right as Taboc has the conch in hand, Roy tackles him out of the way and gets struck by an explosion from the platform where it stood. He’s thrown against the wall and his neck snaps. The others gasp and are stunned by the turn of events. Water pours in with the sharks surrounded by streams. They lift Roy up in their currents and he starts to shine. His eyes open once more and he transforms into his Enchantix. The water recedes.

Ursula is waiting for them on the surface with an entourage of guards. Taboc uses his authority to wrest them away and take everyone before King Teredor instead. Ursula pleads for him to lock them up, but Teredor decides to see why she doesn’t want him to know about the conch. Turns out it’s a primitive memory storage device. The queen who once oversaw the Acquarioteca tells of how her queendom was brought to ruin. She thought she could trust Ursula, but the lady was really a particularly vile witch in disguise. Too late to save her queendom she caught Ursula removing a hair pin and reverting to a familiar form. The Shaman Witch blinds the inhabitants of the room and makes her escape. Teredor sends his guars to search, but she’s already fled. It seems Andros’ regressive tendencies were encouraged by whispers in the right ears. Taboc shrinks down the conch and gives it to Roy as thanks for saving his life.

The return to Alphea is filled with mixed feelings as another Enchantix was earned but the Shaman Witch lives. They spy a specialist outside on their way in. Nex wants to know if a school for fairies can give him a challenge. He mocks Roy, who takes him up on a Wind Rider race around the school. Roy gives him a run for his money, but Nex pulls ahead towards the end and wins. Nex is pleasantly surprised but smug. Amaryl comments on how they were already tired. Nex decides to rematch Roy at Red Fountain on their next day off.

They hold a relaxed slumber party to process recent events.

After classes they brainstorm about ways to draw the traitor out. Amaryl suggests they turn the rematch into a larger event. Diaspro goes to Faragonda and suggests she coordinate with Saladin to turn it into a competition between the two schools. The girls will lie in wait for any interference. Red Foutain delivers Roy a Wind Rider a few days in advance, to make sure the quality of the equipment isn’t a concern. Lucy asks to join in, to take her mind off Cloud Tower.

The day of the event arrives. Alphea is considering the event a field trip, so regular classes are cancelled. The teachers each have their own group of students. Eldora takes a group of first years to wish Roy and Nex “good luck” before the event starts. Red Fountain has set up quite the obstacle course in its stadium. The two are neck and neck throughout the race. Nex is a bit faster at full speed, but Roy handles tricky turns with grace. They get close to the end when Roy notices a surge of energy under Nex’s engine. He leaps off his Wind Rider and transforms before tackling Nex off his. Nex starts to protest but the Wind Rider explodes. The guards capture a first year that snuck off. A dose of Fairy Dust shows that she wasn’t in her right mind and breaks the spell on her. Nex concedes to Roy, since he shouldn’t have been too focused on the goal to notice the state of his own Wind Rider. Nex apologizes and asks Roy to hang out with him in less deadly activities. He also asks Roy to put him down and the other apologizes while blushing. Lucy tells Mirta that she doesn’t think Eldora’s foolish enough to lose track of a student. Mirta agrees but the rest of the group doesn’t want to rush to conclusions.

Roy’s playing games with Nex on a holo display, while also occasionally keeping himself from leaning on the latter’s shoulder. Roxy gets a call from Nebula telling her she has information from some unexpected individuals. Faragonda gives permission and Nebula arrives with a few trusted guards keeping the guests in line. Ogron gives Roxy a mocking bow. Nebula prods him and he gets a bit more serious. They’re whisked away to a protected chamber. Ogron starts his tale. The were originally Morgana’s guards, but she wasn’t as openminded as she is now, and they took to each other a bit too much. They looked for a way to be together while keeping their duties and came across the Lady of the Lake. She took them on a journey throughout the worlds learning the required knowledge to make a relic that would force Morgana to allow them a seat at the table so to speak. Some of the methods seemed questionable but they were grateful for the help. By the time they finished the Black Circle, her corruption was complete. Even now unsealing their powers would result in a return to stealing wings.

Roy wants to ask Ogron a private question. Ogron tries to intimidate him, but Roy gets flushed instead. Ogron asks Anagan to take over answering Roxy’s questions and takes him over to a corner. Anagin confirms that Fairy Dust would not be enough to save their corrupted souls, but it turns out they do enjoy taking care of the Fairy Pets. Roxy wonders if Believix’s therapeutic powers might help, but Anagan tells her not to waste her efforts on people like themselves.
Ogron returns with Roy, and they start to make their way out. Roxy notices an intense blast of negative energy making its way to the Wizards and transforms. She tries to hold it off, but even with the others helping she’s overcome. It seeps into her, and her body starts to turn sickly. Ogron asks why she bothered, and she answers that his side isn’t the only one with things to make up for. Her eyes close and the Fairy Animals come from the forest to mourn her. They engulf her in a massive cuddly pile and start to glow. Their light flows into her and she’s surrounded by a whirlwind of their energy. She opens her eyes and changes from Believix to Enchantix.
Lucy took a picture of the attacker, but it will take a while to develop.

Crossover 1 happens.

Diaspro returns to find the picture developed. Eldora was directly responsible this time. They decide to get their affairs in order first since the confrontation is going to be messy. Roxy calls her parents. Lucy hugs Mirta but decides not to go with her this time. Diaspro tells her parents not to send any ships to get her. Amaryl steels herself on her own. Roy asks Nex to meet him up on a hill at sunset. Nex sits down next to him. He offers Nex a piece of coral on a necklace. It’s not as strong as the Coral Gem, but it does have some protective properties. Nex catches on and threads his fingers with Roy’s. They lean in and the scene moves to the girls watching them from behind some bushes. Diaspro is surprised that this is what love looks like. Roxy asks her about Sky and she admits she was happy to be treated as a human, but never had that sort of feeling for anyone. Roxy promises to guide her to some helpful sites when things are over.

Faragonda sends the other teachers and students to Alphea’s heart to prepare for Selina and Acheron’s arrival and asks Eldora to meet her outside to question her about Selina. Once they get to the middle of the courtyard Alphea’s barrier is deployed, with a new energy wall to prevent entry to the school proper. Roxy’s group come out of hiding, already transformed. Eldora laughs and transforms into Maladicix (a direct foul counterpart to Enchantix). She sends out an array of flowers with pollen that corrupts whatever it touches. Even with Faragonda’s help they barely manage to keep them at bay. Mirta and Amaryl activate Charmix on top of Enchantix. Roy and Roxy focus on using Fairy Dust to counter the pollen while Diaspro makes gem barriers for the rest of their defense. Faragonda provides buffs while Mirta and Amaryl drive Eldora back with their attacks. They break her transformation, but Cloud Tower shows up to break Alphea’s barrier and she escapes into it. Faragonda runs out of energy but wishes the group well. They make their way into Cloud Tower as it’s transforming.

Crossover Finale happens.

Notes:

Hope it ended up with enough meat on its bones so to speak.

Chapter 6: Season Seven

Chapter Text

Daphne is exploring her old quarters when she stumbles across an old object that fills her with trepidation. Oritel and Marion are away trying to decide what to do with the royal succession, so she goes to Bloom for comfort. Bloom hugs her then questions her about what’s wrong. She holds up a flame incased in dazzling ice. She explains that it’s a primitive form of communication between Domino and its sister planet, Diamond. Turns out it’s what started her own quest for Sirenix. Bloom decides the other girls need to know about this discovery.

Bloom activates a hologram device in her castle’s war room and sends a request to the other Winx. Musa and Tecna answer first. Musa’s helping Riven better control his bolas with a device that makes different sounds based on the accuracy of his hits. It was a gift from Tecna catered to her magic. Aisha answers next, as her baby has finally gotten to the point of sleeping through the night. Stella groggily follows. Flora answers last, having been wrapped up in a research project. Bloom gets their attention and Daphne brandishes the Frozen Flame before explaining and demonstrating by channeling her own flame through it.

It projects what appears to be a map with pillars and some text on the bottom. Tecna gets out a translator and reads it out to the girls.

The twin Great Dragons spawned numerous universes of their own but could never allow their paths to meet. Flame and Water oppose each other, after all. There is one exception, but the results lie in tragedy. Long had the two strove to stop the chaos of Wild Magic from invading their homes. The Great Dragon of Flame sought to burn it back, but its power would not last. It tried seas of magma, but it could not create walls capable of permanent prevention. As its power was fading, the Great Dragon of Water poured its depths into the magma and created flooded channels. The magma cooled and they finally had a barrier to stop the encroachment of Wild Magic. It was too late for the Great Dragon of Flame. It used the last of its power to make one more universe and came to its final rest on a planet within. The Great Dragon of Water was distraught with grief. It flooded the Heart of all Worlds’ base and connected the channels to it. Then secluded itself within a tower that reminded it of the one It lost and cried tears that shimmered like the shine of stars.

At this point, the girls are used to world-shaping secrets, so they focus on what to do. Bloom has looked distracted for a while and finally inquires about Diamond. Daphne reveals it was a world of friendly Witches who worshipped the Great Dragon as a frigid ruler of the dead. Bloom adds her Mythix power to Daphne’s flame and the map expands. It also becomes more active, showing currents moving throughout the Infinite Ocean. Tecna decides to make copies for analysis and Flora volunteers to go on an expedition once she’s done. Musa’s just finished her last scheduled tour, so she offers to go as well. The other three have to help manage their respective worlds, so they reluctantly agree to stay behind.

There’s a skip to preparations being completed then Musa, Flora and Tecna transform into Sirenix and access the Infinite Ocean from their own worlds. Tecna brings up her copy of the map and Musa enhances their navigation with her sonar. Tecna mentions streaming their findings to a copy in Timmy’s hands. They head out beyond the territory they already visited in season 5. Flora occasionally takes samples of unusual plants.

Things seem to be going well for a while when a sudden current starts chasing them. Flora uses some seaweed to secure the three. The current seems to be weakening her power, so Musa plays her flute to enhance the plants’ vitality. It isn’t enough so Tecna multiplies their strength. All three feel their powers weakening by the second. Eventually they pass out and are swept up.

The scene cuts to an oddly colored tropical island. A silver-haired humanoid feline is chiding her canine sibling while they walk. She stumbles across a familiar trio washed up on the shore. She gently shakes them awake. Musa, Flora and Tecna introduce themselves. She calls herself Kalshara and her brother Brafilius. She asks them to go with her to her abode and they agree. She talks about her daily tasks, but they just want to find a way home quickly. She tells them to wait till they get to her home and tells Brafilius to stop slacking. The three say they can just teleport away. She watches with amusement as they try to transform but nothing happens.

Once they reach her home, she explains that they are on an island within the chaos of Wild Magic beyond the Infinite Ocean. The only way to have power here is to embrace it and become Entropix fairies, like herself and Brafilius. She thinks five Entropix Fairies might be enough to get back to the Infinite Ocean. They help her with her chores and agree to undergo the trials to obtain Entropix the next day.

They have breakfast then Kalshara takes them to a path where it’s hard to see beyond the entrance. She says they have to welcome creatures of chaos into themselves. Some who once were, some who will be and some that elude possibility itself.
Musa follows the path into a grove that a voice in her head tells her is medieval Earth. It also tells her the spiky creature in front of her is a quillcat. She reflexively tries to stun it with a sonic blast then remembers she can’t use her magic. She dodges its volley of quills then decides to sing. Even without magic, she still has a beautiful voice. The quillcat calms down then leaps into her arms. She feels it merging with her body then her appearance starts shifting. She grows pink fur all over her body, her eyes become slitted, her ears move up then grow a thin layer of purple fur and her hair becomes reddish-purple quills.

Flora follows the path to a mountain atop a desolate world. A voice in her head tells her it’s a possible future for Linphea. She narrowly dodges a leaping slash and the voice tells her it’s a magiwolf. While a bit stronger, Flora notices its similar to the wolves currently inhabiting her home world. She continues dodging and changes her posture to be more threatening. She waits for an opening and pounces. She uses her leverage to subdue it and the magiwolf starts merging with her body. She gains a brown fur coat, her eyes turn purple and her ears shift up then gain a thin turmeric-blue coat.

Techna follows the path and finds herself in cyberspace. A voice tells her it’s a path for Zenith that can never be. She stops herself from inspecting a broken circuit just in time as a ball of electricity shoots out, briefly turns into a creature then goes into another one. The voice tells her it’s a Techsquirrel. Tecna rearranges the circuits, while avoiding the creature in the moments it emerges. She traps it in a small circle until the glow from its movements fades. She disconnects a piece and the exhausted squirrel tumbles out. Tecna gathers it into her arms and it begins to merge with her body. She grows purple fur, her arms become connected to her body by flaps of skin and her ears shift to the top of her head while growing longer and gaining a thin coat of blue to white fur.

The three emerge back at the path’s entrance and Kalshara congratulates them. She trains them in the basics of using their powers then they hold hands. Tecna has a bit of difficulty holding Brafilius’ hand but Kalshara starts reciting a complex spell. It looks like it will work for a moment, but they’re blasted in all directions instead. Kalshara brings out pages of calculations and Tecna admits they’re not wrong. Five Entropix Fairies should be enough. Musa starts to say something, but Flora stops her. Kalshara says she’ll resume their training after a brief rest.

Back on Domino Bloom is conversing with Timmy, Daphne and the remaining two Winx in the war room. Everyone but Daphne and Bloom calling in. It’s been about a month since they’ve disappeared. Oritel and Marion have returned so Daphne can no longer trick bloom into takin over handling audiences. Timmy already has their path traced and the girls have made their arrangements. Aisha’s still worried about her baby, but Nabu assures her their, newly hired, wet nurse should be enough. Radius is understanding enough to put Stella’s training to inherit the crown on hold.

They transform into Sirenix and meet up in the Infinite Ocean. Timmy guides them roughly to the spot where Musa, Flora and Tecna disappeared. Aisha reveals that Earth scientists have been studying her powers while she was bored waiting for her child to be born. They helped her figure out that she can trace various types of waves, so long as they’re moving through a fluid. She catches faint hints of Musa’s sound and uses them to help narrow down the spot. The same current shows up to sweep them away. Bloom and Stella combine their power to push it away, while Aisha anchors them with her Morphix. Bloom helps them last longer but ultimately; they too are swept away.

They wake up on the shore and are greeted by their old friends + Kalshara. They’re initially spooked but calm down upon listening to the explanation. They’re confused by Kalshara mentioning some Brafilius but, decide to just roll with it. They agree to undergo the trials themselves.

Bloom finds herself in a radiant glen. A voice tells her it’s a version of Lightrock that will never be. It doesn’t need to tell her the beauty in front of her is a unicorn. Bloom dodges beams from its horn and rolls out of the way of its dodges. She forms some impromptu reigns from nearby vines and leaps astride it. She rides the unicorn until it tires. She gets off and it lays its head in her arms in surrender. It merges with her body. She grows white hair all over her body and her hair becomes two toned with pale yellow and blue streaks. She also gains gloves reminiscent of its hooves.

Stella finds herself in a jungle overtaking what looks like a temple. A voice tells her it’s a possible distant future where Solaria is retaken by the wild. She enters, what she now knows is, her former home and finds a bird trying to remove the jewel from her father’s robes. The voice tells her it’s a shinygreed. It notices her and tries to blind her, but she shields her eyes and lobs ordinary stones till it falls. It lashes at her with its talons, but she uses a nearby bracelet to bind its legs. She ties a bag over its head and the shinygreed calms down. She takes it off and the bird burrows into her embrace. It keeps going at merges with her. Stella gains a purple eyeshadow and her hair becomes golden plumage with light yellow insides and pale purple details. She also gains magenta gloves reminiscent of its claws.

Aisha finds herself in a desert. She walks a bit and makes her way to an oasis. A voice tells her she’s on Andros in the distant past before floods overtook it. She notices a creature trying to hide. The voice tells her it’s a cry-cry. When she tries to pursue it, the creature floods the area with its tears. She dives down and scoops it up. She consoles the cry-cry and it begins to snuggle with her. It begins to merge with her body. She grows an aquamarine fur coat all over her body. Her hair also becomes light blue fur with violet accents. She gains purple gloves reminiscent of the fur on its arms and legs.

Kalshara greets them as they emerge. Stella asks who the voice was and Kalshara says she made Brafilius watch over their trials. She gives them some basic training and they try the spell once more. Stella asks if Brafilius can still come along by standing in the center and Kalshara agrees. There’s still no one there, but they hold hands in a circle and Kalshara begins the spell.

They find themselves floundering inside the Infinite Ocean. Kalshara turns into an ancient sea dragon and scoops the Winx up in her mouth. She swims until she finds a spot she likes and exits onto Melody.
Kalshara spits the Winx out and returns to her usual form. The Winx thank her, and she tells them to execute the plan. The Winx have no idea what she’s talking about. She tells them the whisperings of Wild Magic should have informed them, but she’ll tell them anyway. She wants everyone to go to the Heart of all Worlds and return the Magic Universe to the sea of chaos from whence it came. They start to fight. Flora slashes the ground and vines spring out. They go wild and start to take over the area. Stella fires a beam, but the air takes on the surreal glow of the island. Kalshara turns herself into a Roc and surrounds herself with energy. Tecna tries to trap her in an electric cage, but a wild storm strikes the area instead. Kalshara knocks the Winx down and escape.

Galitea evacuates the area and, reluctantly, has her guards arrest the Winx. They’re confined to a special barrier in Lightrock, designed to keep their Wild Magic form spreading. The Specialists are given special add-ons so their weapons can make up for the Winx by cleaning up their mess. They’re warned they’re not strong enough to allow for the Winx’s freedom.

The specialists have a moment with their respective girls and head out to join Lightrock’s forces. The Winx are still in a bit of a shock from finding out Kalshara was just using them. Daphne visits and apologizes for showing them the Frozen Flame. No one blames her for it but they do ask about Kalshara. Turns out she’s a former Nymph who held her post from after graduating in Faragonda’s class to when she went missing during the war. Her brother, Brafilius, was a fairy who died fighting in the war. It happened shortly before the Ancestral Witches cast their curse on Sirenix. The Winx express sorrow at her circumstances but, still agree she has to be stopped.
Nabu shows up with their child to visit Aisha. He reassures her that they’re doing ok and she should just focus on getting better. Tecna tries to search for clues, but the copies of databases they’re giving her keep getting corrupted. Bloom tries sensing light, like how Enchantix makes Fairy Dust, and gets some small results. They aren’t enough.

Queen Luna visits Stella to tell her of current events. Kalshara occasionally emerges and spreads her corruption. Zenith is working hard to replicate the add-ons, but it’s like putting a band-aid on a broken bone. To distract herself, Stella asks why Luna remained queen after the divorce. Turns out her marrying him was just a happy coincidence. The world of her birth, Selenia, was inhabited by good witches who practiced moon magic. As a token of friendship, a girl with golden hair was blessed as the Fairy of the Mystic Moon and sent to Solaria to serve as its queen for her entire life. She’ll be the last. It fell in the war and its princess was kidnapped. Initially Radius avoided mention of it to spare her but, eventually his feelings fell to resentment. Neither of them will ever regret bringing Stella into the world.

Stella thinks on things and suggests combining several types of healing spells to help them control their powers. Daphne, Mirta and Roxy volunteer. Daphne uses restorative spells tied to the Fire of Life, Mirta uses her Fairy Dust and Roxy uses her Belivix therapeutic spell. The Winx reach out themselves and are finally able to sense the Fairy Magic they’ve been shut off from. They struggle to balance the two but eventually succeed. They sprout wings that fit their respective creatures and perform some tests. Tecna no longer corrupts any database she touches. She sets a program to combine Kalshara’s movements with her map of the Infinite Ocean and they set out to clean up her messes.

With Entropix properly controlled, they’re able to cleanse the places Kalshara corrupted. They go to Faragonda to see if she can find anything on the Heart of all Worlds. She’s only able to find a book that references it as one of three pieces that maintain the Magic Universe. Tecna’s analysis comes back and looks like Kalshara’s trying to navigate between an odd mess of currents above the Infinite Ocean’s pillars.

Musa suggests the third might be Realix. The Winx agree to try it. They return to Shadowhaunt, jumpy due to the nature of the place. There are signs of activity, but not recent enough to be of concern at he moment. They find the spot where the teachers made the backdoor. Stella switches to Mythix and they use Convergence to wind it back to before it activated. Stella solves the puzzle again and they step through.

They get into Realix and shudder from their respective memories of the last time they visited. They explore a bit and notice some stairs heading down. Space seems warped and messes with their heads. Musa uses her sonar and Tecna analyzes the results. She uses them to enhance Stella, who leads the way with her light. Eventually they’re engulfed by a blinding wave of positive energy.

They find themselves in an enormous room filled with patterns of fiery and watery energy. They dance around each other but never intersect. Outside they can see the many universes of the Magic Universe, distant and reminiscent of a sea of stars. In the center is a giant radiant crystal. It’s distilling the disparate energies and turning them into pure bright power.

They all transform into Entropix and await Kalshara’s arrival. She comes in and immediately becomes furious at their “perversion” of Entropix. Flora tries to trap her within a pitcher plant, but she breaks free. Aisha brings her bird form to the ground with a Morphix net and Tecna turns into a ball of electricity then shocks her through it. Kalshara slips free by switching into her cat form and slashes them. Flora pounces on her and holds her till Bloom can ram her with her horn. The hit spot erupts in flames. Musa shoots out an array of quills and bombards her with sonic blasts from all directions. She turns into the sea dragon and tries to overwhelm them with her sheer size. Stella blinds her and they dodge her attacks. They’re holding their own, but it’s clear she’ll wear them down before they can finish her off.

Bloom gets an idea and switches to Mythix. She talks to the girls in secret, and they distract Kalshara while she meditates and communes with the Great Dragon. She has it bring back Brafilius’ spirit to talk to Kalshara, looking human since he was never an Entropix Fairy to begin with. He tells her he never resented his fate and it’s time for her to stop. Bloom switches back to Entropix while he’s doing so. Kalshara starts readying a large attack and tells him he’s an impostor. Flora stands underneath her and they start a Convergence spell. Kalshara launches her attack down but its absorbed. Flora uses a souped up version of Return to Nature called Return to Existence. Kalshara is purified away and her, cleansed, power is dispersed across the universes of the Magic Universe. Brafilius thanks them then fades away. They switch to Sirenix and leave.

Solaria hosts the party to welcome the Winx back this time. Brandon proposes to Stella. Musa hugs Riven but they decide to do things at their own pace. Aisha and Nabu watch their baby’s first steps together. Helia and Flora decide to have their wedding after Stella’s, since they don’t want her to feel like they’re competing. Tecna and Timmy had theirs ages ago and simply didn’t make a fuss about it.

Bloom’s sitting a bit away holding the Frozen Flame. The happy couples are a bit too much for her at the moment. Daphne steps aside and hugs her. They sit together and Bloom is allowed to be sad.

Bloom rejoins the party and Tecna offers her a new dating app she made when she’s ready. Bloom thinks on it but decides to do so a bit later. She then pulls the girls into a group hug and dances with her friends.

Chapter Text

Starts by panning to the Trix holed up in Shadowhaunt. The Vacuums are out and they’re converging their powers on a book of Halloween tales. Their attempt fails and they’re thrown back against the walls. They’re battered and exhausted, but they decide to give it one last chance. They manage to create a circle with a symbol in the middle of the crystals and it slowly drifts down onto the book. There’s a sound like glass shattering and it changes into a more sinister form. The cover looks like rotting flesh, the text dripping blood and it seems to suck all the light out of the already dim room. Icy opens it and sees the tale of the four sisters. Now three of them have changed into a familiar trio while the fourth shifts between a beautiful young woman and a form even more hideous than theirs. The Shadow Phoenix enveloping the four. They begin to read.

In the beginning there was chaos and Darkness. It was quite comfortable and enjoyed the turbulent solitude. This led to it becoming quite peeved when a bright light disturbed its fun. Twin Dragons emerged and really made a mess of things. Tidying up some space and throwing some tacky thing latter known as the Magic Universe inside. It vaguely knew their power always existed within the chaos, but only tolerated it as a means of preserving itself. It pulled itself together into the noble form of a Phoenix and made a much better place inside called Obsidian.
It created four heralds to bring about its destruction. Belladonna to remove that ghastly heat. Liliss to sew deception and prevent any pesky mortal creations from banding together. Tharma to add some much-needed chaos to the weather. Finally, Sopelea to lure others in with her beauty and add venom to her sisters’ traps.
They brought the forces of Light to the brink of destruction many times but, that’s not what you’re here for.

Stormy voices concern at the last line but, the other two shush her.

The Shadow Phoenix grew tired of watching events from a distance, so it chose to take on a mortal vessel. It picked a promising male fairy and subsumed his will, then used the body as its own. This worked for a time but, eventually the body grew old and frail, so Sopelea would seduce a new one and serve as her master’s bride until the next was needed. Then came Argulus. When his time came, he cast a blindingly bright curse. The Shadow Phoenix became bound to the body now known as Darkar until mortal death and Sopelea became as ugly as her heart. Pride wounded, Sopelea withdrew from the following war and devoted herself to disguises until the Shadow Phoenix was freed by mortal death and she could begin her search anew.

The Trix flip through a few pages and Icy angrily points at one. The Shaman Witch tricked her into ruining her home planet. Stormy admits the same. Darcy was too young when hers fell. They share a laugh at the similarity between themselves and their long-time foes.

And now that you’ve honed your craft, my sisters can take over your bodies too.

The Trix try to close the book, but the Shaman Witch climbs out and makes a portal. Her sisters and Eldora climb through. Eldora summons her flowers. Darcy tries to use an environment ruining spell but, it only makes them stronger. Icy freezes them then Belladonna takes control. Stormy pulverizes them with a tornado but, Tharma uses it to rip at her instead. Darcy tries to blind them and only barely cancels Liliss’ counter. Knowing her sisters won’t last, Icy gathers power into herself. Ravens filter in and transform into a blizzard as they surround her. She takes on the appearance she does in season six of the show proper. Icy creates a giant wall of ice, obscuring them from their opponents. She telepathically tells Darcy to leave herself and Stormy behind. Darcy makes an illusory copy of herself before going invisible and flying away. Darcy barely makes it to the gates of Alphea and uses the last of her consciousness to disguise herself.

Roxy meets up with her friends in the courtyard and they greet each other before making their way to Faragonda’s office. Myrta and Amaryl are now official professors, while the others are going to do a stint as their assistants. Diaspro’s progress has been well-received, so she’ll be getting training to become queen on top of her regular duties. Since Andros already has Aisha, Roy’s considering moving in with Nex. Some progress has been made since ousting “Ursula” but not all the excessive cages of tradition were her doing. Roxy herself is wavering on if she really even wants to take the crown back from Nebula.

Faragonda greets them with Enchantix themed keys for the three who weren’t already teachers. She gives them a brief overview of their duties then ushers them into the Hall of Enchantments. They’re given a brief tour, then she reveals the real reason they’re there. She takes out a device and activates it. A hologram depicting Darkar and Roy is projected. They aren’t sure what to make of it but, the girls hug Roy and reassure him that they’re on his side. Griselda barges in and tells Faragonda that something seems to be very wrong with a young fairy found collapsed near the entrance.

They enter the clinic only to be assaulted by a strong negative aura. A young blonde fairy tosses fitfully on the bed. Roxy transforms into Enchantix and dispels some of it with her fairy dust. Mirta uses a basic pain relief spell and then gently shakes the girl awake. She introduces herself as “Cardy” the fairy of pleasant mischief. She says she and her sisters got lost and trapped underground. When they press further, she describes Shadowhaunt. Amaryl suggests that she might be suffering from the immense dark energy of the place. Regardless, everyone agrees to help her out.

As Enchantix level fairies, they can all use their powers just fine in Downland. Amaryl takes out a few shadow monsters. Mirta comments on how they should be gone. Cardy uses some tricks to get them to avoid the group. When they get to Shadowhaunt, it’s teeming with the things. Roy washes away the non-flying variants. Amaryl takes out the aerial ones. They get to the cages, but there’s no one there. Roxy asks Cardy if she needs to rest, but she dissents. She leads them through the rooms to a ceremonial chamber. There’s no one there but, the traces of dark magic are palpable. Mirta notes that there seems to have been a battle but, no traces of Fairy Magic are around. Cardy surreptitiously uses her own dark magic to see where a recently opened portal led. They decide to leave for now and regroup.

Once they’re out, Mirta asks Darcy to drop the act. Cardy initially protests but, the others believe Mirta. Darcy drops the disguise then laments getting stuck with b-stringers. Roxy tells her half the Winx have gone missing, and the other half are too busy planning to search for them. Darcy admits Icy and Stormy really are in trouble but, doesn’t think they’re up to the task. They challenge her to a practice bout.

Darcy fades away and copies of her dance around while laughing. Roxy and Mirta focus on finding the real one while Roy and Diaspro defend them. Amaryl thins the herd with her bombardment. Roxy and Mirta simultaneously strike an empty space and Darcy is pushed back. She tries to disrupt their sense of direction, but they focus while flying up and the effect fades. It was a feint, and she blinds Mirta. Mirta uses her fairy dust to restore her vision. Roy tries to subdue her with a river’s worth of water but she phases through the ground and binds him with a tentacle in return. Mirta uses the opportunity to trap Darcy in an illusion of her own. She quickly breaks free, but it gives Amaryl an opening to free Roy. She tries to phase through the ground again, but Roxy calls and empowers a giant worm to swallow her. Darcy agitates its insides and frees herself. She tries to flick away a bit of the slime before magically cleaning herself. Ravens start to gather around her. Roxy tries to control them, but they turn into shadows and the darkness swirls around her. Considerably stronger tentacles emerge and bind the group. Darcy emerges in her form from season 6 of the series proper. She brags about the Trix combining Dark Sirenix with the dredges of Disenchantix and a few other things to make this form. She calls it Hecatrix. Amaryl stuns the tentacles and Roxy calls a swarm of insects to distract Darcy. She counters with a tide of negative emotions that devastate the group. It seems hopeless when the form dissipates, and Darcy falls to her knees. She forgot she’s still recovering.

Since they won, if only on a technicality, Darcy decides to play along. Mirta restores her disguise, and they sneak “Cardy” into the Hall of Enchantments to discuss what to do with Faragonda.

Faragonda calls Griffin over and they advocate for helping her. Griffin actually worked for the people Darcy wants to get her sisters back from so, she has some sympathy. The group is a little shaken about the true identity of the person who keeps causing trouble for them. They do decide to put a prison collar on her neck and give Mirta the switch for it, as a precaution. Darcy thinks they need more power fast if they want to stand a chance. They hand her the Book of Fairies and she uses a spell to figure out which transformation can bring out each one’s power the most. Cosmix for Amaryl, Onyrix for Mirta, Tynix for Diaspro, Sirenix for Roy and Dananix for Roxy.

They decide to head to Cosmosia to help Amaryl get Cosmix first. When they leave the station, the world seems lifeless. Amaryl rushes to her parents’ house only to find them listless. The currents they ignored drained the Rivers Of Light and all the residents are suffering because of it. Amaryl might not have had the best relationship with her parents, but this incenses her. They trace the currents to a forest she played in when she was a kid. There were fruits shaped like stars with seeds that jingled like laughter inside. Now it’s a rotting fetid mess. They sneak further inside and find Shadow Monsters maintaining a stream that’s sucking her world’s magic into a portal. Amaryl transforms and blasts them away. Mirta and Darcy study the portal and manage to recite a spell together to break it. Darcy’s surprised Mirta kept up with her dark magic studies. Mirta admits her issue was more with how Cloud Tower’s Witches treated each other than the magic itself. She’s made a few abortive attempts to get an exchange program going. The forest looks a little less dead, but it will take a while for things to fully recover. There is just enough to the Rivers of Light for them to find the entrance to Lumenia.

It’s a radiant land where every star looks alive and touching them is a joy. They’re guided to the palace where Queen Dorana and her advisor Argen will greet them. They arrive to find the two bickering and quite diminutive compared to the stories Amaryl grew up on. They sneak around the back and ask a few servants about the situation. Turns out without the Rivers of Light the two were quite poorly off. They took to blaming each other for each little thing and their bodies grew as small as their hearts. The group helps fix all the minor issues while playing mediator. Once the two are set right again, Amaryl asks to enter the Chamber of the Cosmos and acquire Cosmix. The two warn her, but she doesn’t mind the risk. They reluctantly pool their power and open the gate. Amaryl walks in alone.

The stars fall from the night sky and enter her. Initially it feels rather pleasant, but the pressure starts to add up. She feels like she’s burning inside and the pressure drops her to the floor. She struggles to get up in an uphill battle. Eventually she just lies down, even breathing becomes too difficult. Right as she’s about to pass out, her mind shifts to a different kind of surrender. She feels like another dimension entirely forms inside of her and the stars are sucked into it as if into a black hole. She stands up and forces the remaining stars to become a part of her as well. She steps out of the chamber with wings reminiscent of the night sky and a dress netting a nebula of her own color.

Amaryl is able to recover the Rivers of Light to the point most of the residents are doing a bit better. Her parents are now too grateful to be scared and she’s able to leave on amicable terms.

Amaryl and Roy stay at Alphea to cover teaching their classes while the others head on to Ephemera. It’s similarly drained, but the people are hyper instead. Mirta gets a warm welcome from her parents. The world has lost the Sleeping Draughts that they distilled for their potions. They trace the currents to the caves of truth where Mirta came to terms with not having the love of her parents. They look pristine and kind, but Mirta hates how fake it is. Diaspro traps the Shadow Monsters inside of gems and Roxy calls upon bioluminescent spiders to destroy them. Darcy and Mirta take care of the gate. The Sleeping Draughts return to a trickle, and they follow them to Neverland.

They get to the edge of the forested kingdom when they’re stopped by Captain Hook and his men. They’re warned that Queen Tinkerbell’s mood has been horrid for a long time, and it isn’t safe to go in. Mirta decides to enter alone.

She’s beset by harmful illusions, but they aren’t beyond her skill. She follows the path of most resistance and finds herself in a shadowy glade. There’s a woman weeping in its center. She tries to comfort her but is swatted away. She’s told she can’t understand. Mirta finds that doubtful. She tells her of how Peter Pan gave up a life of immortality with her for an ordinary one with the Earth Girl Wendy, complete with illusory pictures. Mirta uses her emo-visions to show how Flora ended up falling for Helia instead of her. She tries to be supportive, but some days it’s hard. Tinkerbell agrees to stop blocking entry to the forest and try to move forward. Mirta follows a path to the Realm of Nightmares.

She’s shown the hatred of those who should be close to her, moving on from Flora to a succession of exes, even being abandoned by her friends. She lets the pain be present, but not controlling. She embraces both darkness and light. It all comes together in a flowing dress of shadows, with a slit down her left leg. Panes of violet with wine-red borders make up her wings.

Mirta emerges and the others congratulate her. Darcy gives her an approving smirk.

She’s able to restore enough of the Sleeping Draughts to get Ephemera closer to normal. Her parents aren’t as happy with her but she’s done with their manipulation.

They return to find Riven hanging out in the courtyard. All the Winx are missing now, and he’s come to relive fond memories. Darcy asks if he’ll come back to her, and he refuses. She snaps her fingers at Roy, but nothing happens. She looks puzzled then Nex shows up and embraces him. She laughs at herself and is glad the fairies are loosening up a bit. She decides to train Riven in handling his darkness in return for his help with their missions.

Mirta and Roxy replace Amaryl and Roy as they head to Eraklyon. Diaspro has special permission since she’s still technically banished. Her parents are happy to see her making roads into alliances with other planets but don’t act particularly warm. They find out the veins for Eracklyon’s ores have been running dry. They follow them down into a dull wall. Diaspro taps it and the wall spits open. She welcomes them to the Resplendent Geode. Its crystals lacking their typical luster. She was overjoyed when her parents took her to it, as she liked crystals more than people as a child. Amary starts to move but Diaspro stops her. She uses her power to make the crystals, briefly, shine once more to destroy the Shadow Monsters. Darcy coaches Riven through helping her to destroy the gate. The crystals now let out a dull glow. Diaspro walks over to a lone bright diamond and uses Fairy Dust on herself

.
Diaspro shrinks far below normal miniaturization. She feels like she’s going to pop out of existence, but she keeps going. Finally she finds herself in the Adamantine Miniworld. She finds its king and queen rejecting gem after gem, even as they’re wasting away. The dulling from the Resplendent Geode affecting them here as well. She focuses her powers and makes a small plate of Opals. The royal couple agrees to let her into the Royal Orchard in return for the meal.

The trees inside are almost dead. Even trying to save one uses most of Diaspro’s power. She decides to change tactics. Diaspro calls upon the luster from the walls of the kingdom itself to aid her. She’s the Fairy of Gemstones and she won’t be denied. The Miniworld goes dark as the power swirls around her. She shoots it into the large tree in the back of the Royal Orchard and it flows from it into the rest. Her gambit worked. A large diamond comes out of it and enters her. Diaspro’s wings become clear with slight illumination coming from rubies and emeralds on their edges. She gains a hair accessory of opals similar to her base transformation’s design. She gets a white shirt with a dark green vest and skirt. A belt of opals and diamonds separates the top from the bottom. She uses her newfound power to light the rest of the Miniworld up then grows back to her normal size.

She makes a courtesy visit to her parents then they leave.

Mirta stays but, Diaspro replaces Roxy due to her royal training piling up. Riven gets Timmy’s aid, for reasons not known at the time. Darcy tweaks the requirements so Roy can immediately find all of them on Andros. Roy’s parents are surprisingly welcoming. He explains that his older sister already has twins, so they don’t care what he does with himself as much. He lets the bundles of joy tackle him and they play a bit before he has to start his trials. Nex gets the same welcome he does. Roy quickly finishes the trials and connects with the ocean to keep his Sirenix. Turns out that wasn’t the end goal. Tecna left a copy of the Infinite Ocean’s map with Timmy. Darcy wants him to get Crystal Sirenix for synergy with Icy.

Roy enters the Infinite Ocean and Timmy guides him to a spot under a frozen universe. He has to occasionally hide in a cave so he doesn’t get swept out into Wild Magic. Eventually he comes to a pillar of pure ice. It isn’t the size of those that support the Heart of all Worlds, but still imposing. He touches it and his arm freezes. Darcy guides him in letting the ice into himself. He’s supposed to let his heart freeze and become an emotionless fairy of ice. He refuses. Nex on his mind, he lets the warmth of his feelings face off against a universe. He’s almost overcome, but Nex’s voice on the line encourages him. He harnesses the cold without letting it control him. The pillar releases him and he returns to the others.

He has a silver circlet with an icy crystal where it intersects with the middle of his forehead. He’s wearing light blue robes with frozen silvery patterns emblazoned on them. His wings resemble waves frozen at the point between cresting and breaking. His parents tell him to still visit after he moves in with Nex. He hugs his family goodbye.

Riven gets news that the Winx are back and arrested. He and Timmy head to Lightrock.

Roxy, Diaspro and Darcy head to Earth.

Roxy is informed by Clause that Artu is at the end of his years before she can ask Morgana about Dananix. She spends his last moments holding him and back her tears. Darcy tries to go to her, but Diaspro stops her. They have a quick ceremony as his body is buried in Tir Na Nog’s cemetery. Morgana and Nebula lead Roxy to a crypt. It’s a portal to Underhill, the resting place for Earth Fairy royalty, and where trials to become a Greater Fairy take place. Roxy brushes away her tears and enters.

She finds herself in a place of darkness and mist. Vague whispers follow her steps. She comes across several markers. Willow the wisps guide her deeper in. Finally she stands at the grave of Danu, the first Queen of the Earth Fairies. Her spirit rises up and caresses Roxy in an attempt to comfort her. She guides Roxy to a silver glowing circle filled with symbols. She asks Roxy to envision the crystallization of her power. It will become a way for her to reach a higher level of strength. Roxy goes through various ideas and eventually decides it has to be an animal. She tries to imagine various dangerous beasts and, even mythical creatures. Her mind keeps going back to Artu. Danu warns her that her life will be linked to what she creates. Roxy throws caution to the wind and calls for Artu. His spirit rushes into the circle and crashes into her with a new body.

Roxy emerges and hugs Diaspro. The later returns it then admires her new look. Roxy’s sporting a shirt and pants consisting of a flowing patchwork of various furs. Her wings lined with an array of feathers. A crown of horns on her head. Artu’s enjoying being able to freely move in three dimensions. Morgana has some concerns, but Clause is supportive. Nebula laughs before patting her on the shoulder.

The group trains to get used to their powers, in between teaching classes. Riven visits Musa as much as he can. Darcy asks if she’s worth it and Riven doesn’t hesitate to say “yes”. She asks him what might have been if she didn’t give in to peer pressure. He responds that he’d have missed out on his better half. Riven still prioritizes helping them over cleaning corruption, since it’s a lost cause anyway.

Roxy and Mirta get called to Lightrock. Riven and Timmy are overjoyed when they return.

Darcy reveals her findings from the Shadow Monster fights. Obsidian has been rebuilt. That’s where her sisters are being held. They undergo rigorous training to survive the Shadow Phoenix’s creation. Darcy helps with Hectrix. Nebula calls Roxy to warn her that there has been a break in and Acheron’s lab was breached.

They make plans for their invasion. Riven and Timmy go to congratulate the Winx at their latest party. Roy embraces Nex and hopes it won’t be the last time.

Even hitting the outskirts fills them with dread. It’s far worse than when Bloom destroyed it. Darcy leads them in. They find themselves constantly battling illusions of their own fears. Lesser leaders amongst the Shadow Phoenix’s forces occasionally block their way.

At about the halfway point, Riven has a terrible feeling and leaves. Musa’s busy dancing with her friends.

Finally, they reach the inner chamber. Darcy greets her mom, Sopelea. The portable magic circle has grown to fill about half of it. Belladonna and Tharma possess Icy and Stormy’s bodies while standing in smaller circles within it. Sopelea thanks Darcy for delivering the sacrifice to her. The group tries to attack her when they’re forced to avoid icy flowers firing out mirror shards. A young Eldora steps out in the garb of the Snow Queen. Amaryl mocks her look. Eldora tells her she doesn’t understand fashion. Diaspro does and she hates it too. A Troll Mirror shard hits Roxy and she starts to flail wildly at everyone indiscriminately. Diaspro changes to Enchantix and cures her with Fairy Dust. She changes back and roots Eldora in place with calcification. Roy makes a tide of waters far colder than ice and shatters the flowers. Sopelea wrestles her daughter into a circle and Liliss takes her over. Mirta conceals the group and they get into position. Roy creates a frigid vortex, Amaryl makes it shine with the force of a galaxy and Mirta reaches out to wake the Trix through their subconscious. It works and the Ancestral Witches are flung out. The Trix transform into Hectrix. Stormy’s ravens turn into wind and lightning. Even as spirits the Ancestral Witches are not easy foes. It’s close to even, though the group is slightly winning even over Sopelea’s serpents.

Roy is suddenly frozen with shock and dread. He realizes he’s stepped into the center of the magic circle. The others are flung out as translucent walls of darkness come up. A horrible shadow begins to descend. Riven rushes into the room and cries in pain as he forces his way in. He comments on testing if his talent for darkness is as great as Darcy said. He flings Roy out as the fairies try to break the spell to no effect. Riven tells them to tell Musa he believes she’ll save him. The shadow descends into his eyes and mouth. His head is wrenched up to better enable it. Everyone is still as he lowers his head. His body starts to turn red and black. His eyes already look like shadows with flames inside. He yells for the group to go. They find themselves surrounded by filthy darkness.

When it fades, they find themselves outside the gate to Alphea. They just stay on their knees and stare ahead dully in shock. A collar clanks to the floor. Darcy waves as she leaves with Icy and Stormy.

Hope its not a bit too long for one chapter. Next one won't have such a negative ending.

Chapter Text

Roxy shows up while the Winx help to clean up after the party. The girls are initially happy to see her, but she stops them and hugs Musa while apologizing. Bloom gently separates them and then provides the heat for a fresh batch of Flora’s tea. They sit down in some not yet stored chairs and wait for Roxy to calm down. Roxy composes herself then tells them about the events on Obsidian and Riven’s fate. Musa initially tells Roxy to stop joking. The truth settles in and she transforms into Sirenix. She gets out her Sirenix Box and tells her Guardian of Sirenix that she has chosen her wish. She tells Musa that granting one so great is beyond her power. Musa leaves for Melody.

A couple months later Bloom is outside of Musa’s house. She’s initially told to leave, but Musa ultimately decides to let her in. She hasn’t even tried to keep up her appearance and is wearing old ratty pajamas Bloom could swear are the ghost of a pair from their time at Alphea. Vague sad music plays in the background while a slowly corrupting image of Riven is on display. Musa isn’t sure why, but she’s lost a dozen pictures of him to it already. Bloom tries using her Dragon Flame to preserve it and it works. Musa still doesn’t want her to stay long, but that earned her a moment. She tells Musa that Daphne found an old text, on Domino, about a phenomenon that occurred rarely in the Magic Universe. It last occurred over a thousand years ago in the Earth Dimension, but Tecna thinks she can use Musa’s Sirenix box to create an approximation. Musa tells her to leave. She doesn’t want to deal with false hope. Bloom turns to go, but a piece of paper falls out of her pocket. She hastily tries to pick it up, but Musa snatches it first. It’s a sketch of Bloom and Sky going on a midnight stroll. Musa’s surprised to find out Bloom’s taken up drawing again. Bloom admits it’s for another way to find closure about Sky. Helia’s family has a tradition of burning fond memories to say “goodbye” to a loved one. She hasn’t had luck on Tecna’s dating app and thinks the problem might be with her. She thinks she might still continue after. The ceremony’s on Melody tonight. Musa says she has a few copies of songs she can add, then tells Bloom to leave so she can look more like a living person for it.

The Winx, Specialists and Diaspro welcome Musa to the event. Musa’s placed her long hair in pig tails and is sporting dressy sandals without heels. The rest closer to her usual older style. The outfits are more on the casual end all around. Bloom ignites logs in the center, to create a bonfire, and throws her sketches in. She realizes that their relationship had a rough start, but she wouldn’t trade her time with him for anything. Timmy throws in a receipt for weights that adjust to the user, that Sky got early on to help him take care of himself. Brandon throws in a piece of wood, from when Sky helped him to keep up early on in their training. Musa tosses in copies of the sheet music for the songs she planned to play at Bloom and Sky’s wedding. She follows with some ripped leather from a harness Riven damaged when Sky egged him on a bit much and dragon taming went awry. The others look at her in confusion and she tells them Riven would remind people that the dead were humans too, not perfect beings. Helia tosses in an old sketchbook. Sky got it for him as a gift, even if it wasn’t his preferred brand. Stella tosses in a perplexing outfit he agreed to model for her anyway. Nabu tosses in ticket stubs from when he attended a concert with him and Aisha. Flora tosses in some seeds, and they explode into fiery blossoms in the sky. She catches them in a jar, so they don’t become an invasive species. They’re from Linphea’s yearly Festival of Life’s Light, where massive numbers of them are set off. Sky snuck her out, underneath her dad’s nose, so she could attend it with Helia. Tecna tosses in the receipt for a rare fighting game Sky helped her find in a small shop on Eraklyon. They played it till the sun came up. Aisha tosses in a copy of a hint; Sky used his connections to find about the location of her childhood friend. Finally, Diaspro steps up. She takes out a benitoite that Sky gave her early on. Neither were under the illusion of love, but they could be comfortable friends together. She’s done things she regrets to see that future come to be. She regrets that she didn’t manage to figure herself out until well after his death. Perhaps she does love him after all, just not the way their parents wanted. She uses her power to crush the gem into dust. The flames flare a brilliant green as she tosses it in. Bloom tries to hug her, but she gently pushes her away. She’s grateful for the invite, but she can’t take the leap from ally to friend. She’s made her own arrangements, so Diaspro takes her leave. The boys rented a flat for the night and Musa invites the girls to take some sleeping bags, since her home isn’t large enough for them all to get rooms.

They wake up the next morning and greet each other, some more sleepily than others. Stella panics upon seeing a burning picture hanging up. Aisha stops her. Musa explains the little she knows. Aisha reminds her of the time she and Riven visited her while she was pregnant. Nabu calls, having gotten up at a very early hour and gone home first. He holds their baby up into view. He also remembers the visit. Something about an earth superstition on cameras being evil. Musa remembers Roxy telling her about him studying dark magic. She cries happy tears realizing he’s still alive and protecting himself with the pictures. They gather the remaining photos from around the house and place them under a focused convergence barrier.
The scene changes to them freshened up and discussing plans outside. Kalshara’s power was spread across several universe, but it’s starting to coalesce. They’re in areas where Sirenix wouldn’t allow them to pass through the extreme currents. Stella’s use of the Ring of Solaria’s teleportation is close, but these haven’t been visited recently enough for it to access them. Daphne came across some old books that held a hint. They need the power of the Witch of Spiders, Arachne. Stella recalls her being banished from Solaria for making embarrassing tapestries of the, at the time, king. Tecna praises her, but admits it wasn’t necessary information. Arachne fled to Zenith and sewed the blueprints that served as the base for many devices still used. After her death, she was given the honorary title First Fairy of Technology. Her needle is a national treasure. The rest of the Winx already made arrangements in the hope that Musa would come around. She notifies her manager that she’ll be travelling and asks him to be ready to schedule a concert or two, so her funds don’t run dry.

Zenith is still chilly, but its residents seem to have warmed up to outsiders. They stop at Tecna’s parents’ house. Her dad, Electronio welcomes her with a hug, while her mom, Magneia is a little busy with a malfunctioning robot. Introductions are made and they take a moment to catch up. They adore Timmy, even if he couldn’t make it this time. Tecna asks Electronio to pull some strings. He initially feigns hurt but admits he’s joking and agrees to help them to the needle. They stay the night. Stella isn’t fond of the multiplication soup, but the pattern cake suits her well.

The Winx take a monorail to the royal museum, where Zenith’s important artifacts are kept. Aisha expresses surprise at just how much the people of Zenith have changed. Tecna only got a chance from her Sirenix Wish, but she’s been making the most of it. She just doesn’t think the kind of public display required to exert her influence would be helpful to them right now.

Arachne’s chamber walls are lined with her sewn blueprints. The walls are clear glass pains containing them. A gentle blue light permeates the room. Tecna takes a key and removes a, seemingly, ordinary sewing needle from a glass case in the center. She holds it out and each of the Winx take it in turn. Musa is the last one. It flares to life in her hand and a figure looms over the group. She has six arms and wears a black veil with rubies orbiting where her eyes likely are under it. She has a black gown and gloves, with occasional silver web patterns. Her red lipstick quirked up into an amused smile. Tecna kneels and formally bows her head. Arachne gets Tecna to rise then tells them that she’s well aware of why they’re present. She’s prepared trials for each of them that will occur at an appropriate time and grant them her power through the transformation Perceptix. She duplicates her needle so Stella can try her hand at it, as a fellow lover of fabric. She makes a show of power going to unknown places then dismisses them. They find her needle back in its case, with Stella keeping its twin.

They return to Electronio and Magneia’s house to find them looking at Ephemera on a console. They feel like something’s odd about it but can’t find anything. Tecna sees a warning sign above a secluded alcove. The other Winx can’t see it, so Flora agrees to accompany Tecna while the others either help in slowing the Shadow Phoenix’s advance or looking for clues on Perceptix and the places where Kalshara’s power came to rest. Tecna passes out Prime Stars for them to store the power in, if they manage to gain Perceptix before reuniting with her. Tecna says her goodbyes while Flora calls Mirta to ask for tips about her home world. Musa leaves with Aisha while Stella and Bloom make the last pair.
They get off at the teleport station and Selina, who’s on summer break at the moment, meets them as their guide. She and flora chat while making their way to the Alcove of Foresight. Tecna feels a little left out, even though it’s her mission. She doesn’t have much time to dwell on it as she enters only to find herself frozen.

On closer inspection she’s neither frozen nor bound. She simply can’t move or extend her powers beyond herself. A mysterious figure in a black biker suit and helmet approaches. Tecna’s starting to get worried then notices a button interface within a corner of her vision. After a few experimental mental presses, she’s able to assume a defensive stance. The figure beckons her and she finds herself on a race track. They get on hovercycles and Tecna finds a new item storage function. She struggles at first, but picks up some handy tools and hinders the figure enough to pass the finish line first by a hair. They continue through various genres, from fighting games to dating sims. Eventually the figure takes off its helmet, revealing Arachne. She congratulates Tecna and taps her with her needle. Tecna finds herself in a punk outfit with blues and greens complimenting the black. Her wings resemble her basic ones. Arachne instructs her to make a turn while opening her mind. Tecna finds her outfit has changed into that of a mechanical angel’s with wings made of a mesh of data.

Arachne disappears and she finally steps into the alcove. Flora congratulates and hugs her. Tecna notices something similar to a crack in a corner. She finds herself folding into it and emerges in an entirely different realm. Several nebula are clustered to make a shape similar to a well and it looks like a tree of galaxies is sprouting from it. One corner of the well seems off, so Tecna uses her new powers to make a minimap set to track it. She finds what seems to be a drop from a black hole and sends it into its own storage box. Three mysterious ladies show up and thank her. They take the drop from her and offer Kalshara’s power in return. Tecna stores it in her Prime Star and returns. Flora and Selina are pleasantly surprised by how fast she completed her mission.
There’s a brief scene of Bloom and Stella, in Enchantix, leading forces against those of the Shadow Phoenix.

Aisha is talking with Nabu while Musa holds the baby and worriedly stares at a Dragon Flame protected locket. It’s a bit rough because the baby really wants her locket. It’s about nap time so Nabu sets up a portal and decides to go with them after making sure everything’s in place. They finally found Anne. She’s running a dance studio on the other side of Andros. It’s a fairly large and pristine place. Anne tries to hide when she sees them. Nabu turns invisible then laughs as he reveals himself behind her. Anne gives up and tells Aisha she’ll accept her punishment. Aisha’s confused. Anne reveals that Aisha’s parents knew how stressful the tutors were and hired her to be a friend and outlet. The real reason she left was because they fired her for getting too close. Aisha’s a little angry at her parents… again but doesn’t blame Anne. Musa promises to help her set up a surprise for them later. Aisha and Anne decide to do a dance together for old-time’s sake. It starts as she remembers but the scene, and Anne herself, shift to become subtly off. The steps become more complex and the pace more rapid, until she feels like she’s wearing a pair of cursed shoes. Still she persists through from Ballet to Cancan and eventually “Anne” stops to clap. She morphs into Arachne. Arachne apologizes for interrupting her reunion, but it was the best opportunity. Still, Aisha passed so she gets her Perceptix. Initially it looks like a green and blue disco dress with base transformation wings. Upon turning it becomes yellow and blue Kente garb with silver wings similar to a moth’s.

Anne and Musa are surprised to see her reappear out of nowhere and Musa congratulates Aisha on getting her Perceptix. Anne is confused, but happy that the air is cleared between them. Aisha receives a distress signal from the sea of one of Melody’s moons, leaving Musa a bit perplexed. Musa can follow her through an underwater gate now, thanks to Sirenix. Aisha shares her contact information with Anne and hugs her goodbye. Nabu goes back to their baby while Aisha and Musa head out.
Musa remarks that this sea is known as the Gift of Water since it used to be a desert. It’s not really known how it came to pass. Aisha notices a crack in a place where several mountains start underwater. Musa doesn’t see it, but Aisha’s able to pass through. She finds herself in the sky, with the land below filled with wilting greenery. She finds her new powers let her control Morphix beads that can move based on how she dances. Four dragons are stuck in a knot above her. She sends the beads into open spaces and loosens the dragons before diving in and finishing the unraveling by hand. The dragons fly into their respective mountains, which begin releasing water. A basin in the center fills up and a peach floats to the top. The dragons nod. It becomes a fragment of Kalshara’s power. She stores it in her Prime Star and heads back. Musa is a bit more ok after figuring out that they’re one step closer to freeing Riven.
Bloom and Stella trade off with Tecna and Aisha.

Musa goes with Flora to Linphea after Flora feels like something is off there. She asks her why they visit so briefly and rarely. Flora admits she loves her family, but her father can be a bit of a handful. Musa insists she’ll be fine and suggests they ask Flora’s parents if they can stay while searching for the problem. Alyssa’s busy in her garden, but Rhodos greets his daughter with a warm hug. Flora returns it with a little reticence. Musa goes to get their bags, only to find Rhodos had already ordered some of his plants to carry them to Flora’s old room. He has them sit down and makes some snacks for conversation aid. Flora tries to help but gets gently placed back next to Musa. Rhodos jokes and tells stories and fills the home with the feeling of being wrapped in blankets. Musa’s shocked to look outside and realize it became night without them doing anything. Flora reminds her she was warned. Initially Flora liked Rhodos taking over chores from her, but eventually she realized it was because he didn’t believe in her. He was the one most surprised when she graduated Alphea and became a Guardian Fairy. Musa consoles her, looks at her locket then makes a quick text before calling it a night.
Flora and Musa wake up to a light tapping on the window of Flora’s room. Miele came to sneak them out. Once a safe distance away, Flora notes that it reminds her of Helia sneaking her out. Miele comments on how she’s had to do so just as much with Flora herself. Musa’s been keeping her updated and she thinks the Endless Hedge maze, behind Linphea’s middle school is their target. Normally teachers manipulate the hedges to create the illusion of size, but it’s seemed larger lately. They grab a quick bite to eat and head over there on some giant ladybugs.

Flora enters first and is very concerned. Spider webs cover the hedges, and she feels strangely alone. It’s also twilight, even though it was morning when she entered. She turns back, only to find neither her friends nor the entrance. Flora tries to connect to the hedges, only to find them unresponsive. A few spiders hiss at her. Flora transforms into Enchantix and tries to make some vines grow. None answer her call. She hears a voice telling her it’s its territory and she has to reach the center. Flora flies up and gets a rough idea of the layout. Attempting to fly over causes the hedges to rise to meet her, but that was always true. She summons a Spider Eater and mixes a couple potions to give it armor, a saddle, and reigns. She then makes it crash through the hedges, getting its own meal from the dislodged spiders. The maze initially tries to shift, but quickly stabilizes in light of the destruction. Flora enters a glade and spots a very confused Arachne. Flora dismisses the Spider Eater and her proctor breathes a sigh of relief. She was expecting Flora to be far more frightened and less aggressive. Flora admits she’s become used to dealing with those who try such tricks over the years. Arachne passes Flora and she begins to transform. She gets a light pink jacket reminiscent of a lab coat, a yellow shirt, a green skirt and simple wings much like she used to have. She’s instructed to turn and she gains a pink guayabera with yellow lining on the lace, a dark green bomba skirt with white flower petals that resemble the falling of tears and brilliant blue wings with gold monarch butterfly patterns.

Musa congratulates Flora, while Miele is confused but happy. Miele no longer senses anything off with the endless hedge maze. Flora now knows where the next fragment of Kalshara’s power is. The council of Elders approve only Flora going. Rhodos bars her way. Flora transforms into Enchantix. This is the second time Flora refuses to back down. The first being her enrollment at Alphea. He summons oaks to strike, but Flora strangles them with Spanish moss. She counters with her vines, but he uses quickly growing bushes to darken their path. Flora wasn’t just making a single move. His attempts with mini Treants are eaten by her shrinking flowers and she changes to Entropix before pinning him with her enhanced strength. Rhodos yields. Alyssa claps and escorts him away. Flora boards the, long unused, ship to La Guerra. She’s a bit sad Miele was too young to witness their rowdy, but fun, celebrations.

Flora arrives and sees a familiar face amongst the ruins. Stormy is looking melancholic and holds a broken crystal. Flora recognizes it as the one Linpheans poured life into once a year. Sopelea told her breaking it would make battles more thrilling to watch. Initially that seemed true, but the witches no longer came back after dying. The ensuing panic was all she needed to finish the job herself. Stormy doesn’t feel like fighting, so she lets Flora go. Flora transforms into Entropix and begins her search. She sees a glow in an alleyway and steps in.

Flora finds herself in a withered field of flowers. A battered hummingbird is defending a lone flower from a sizable snake. It gets struck and flies into her hands. Flora quickly mixes up a healing potion to restore it and steps in. She summons her vines then uses a batch of her duplication potion to overwhelm it. The snake dissolves into shadow. More encroach from the edges of the field. The hummingbird summons a barrier. Flora is suspicious and switches to Believix then casts Tracix. She finds out the hummingbird and the flower were husband and wife. She gets their approval then switches back to Perceptix, but in its formal form. She mixes a potion to restore form, which normally isn’t an option due to the rarity of the flower required and splashes them. They embrace then lock hands with Flora for convergence. The field becomes a vibrant one filled with Lenugia flowers. Their purifying power drives out the snakes and should protect the couple from those who pursued them. Flora senses some sadness, as one of the snakes’ creators used to love them. They pick the lone yellow one and hand it to Flora. It becomes a fragment of Kalshara and she stores it in her Prime Star.

Stormy is absent upon her return to La Guerra, but Musa and Miele are happy to briefly celebrate on Linphea.

Notes:

Been on some medicine that messes up my concentration a bit, but I'm on a low enough dosage now. My family has too many things that are medically interesting.

Felt this season is getting a bit long and this was a good enough spot to make a break. I do have the rest, pretty much, planned out already. Hope you enjoy part one of the main series' final season.
