If Only I Was There On Time

Summary:

This is the rewritten part of "Blood God's Debt"!

To sum up this story, just put Bedrock Bros Bedrock Bros Bedrock Bros on repeat. I am just too weak for them.

Previously, "Blood God's Debt-Rewritten"

Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Chapter Text

Tommy looked down at the man. His poet's shirt red with dried blood and his piercing red eyes closed. If Tommy was a lesser man then he would have just left him there to die. Instead, he took him to his apartment and healed his wound. And-oh? Did he forget to tell you this is one of the most infamous villains in the world? The Blood God? Here's how he got into this situation...

Tommy was left bored out of his mind at the register. He worked night shift at Puffy's cafe. From 6-12 am because Puffy said he was a "kid" and shouldn't "overwork" himself. He was perfectly fine! The cafe was in the 6th district our of 10. 1-5 districts get patrolled the most. 6-9 get some vigilantes, heroes, and villains unlike 1-5. District 10 has the most vigilantes and basically no villains and rarely any heroes patrol there. The heroes have just accepted it because district 10 really seem to like vigilantes. Tommy lives in district 7. Maybe that's why he saw a passed out villain in an alley way.

That was until he heard the door open. Tommy stood up straight and asked in his best costumer service voice, "Hello! How may I help you?"

"Hello. I would like a black coffee, iced tea, and a frappuccino."

"All for you?" Tommy asked while making his way to the coffee machine.

"Oh Gods no!" The man laughed. He had a really infectious laugh. "For my sons and me." He said after he stopped laughing.

Tommy made a disgusted face once he finished. "Your sons have horrible taste."

The man laughed again. "Name's Phil. What's yours?"

"Mine is Tommy."

Phil left with the drinks. "Bye mate!"

"Bye!"

Tommy continued to stand behind the counter knowing no one else was going to come in. The second the clock hit 12 am Tommy started cleaning up. He turned the "open" sign to the "closed" sign and then stepped outside to lock the door. He started his walk back to his old apartment until he saw something red. He did a double-take and furrowed his brow once he saw a person lying on the ground. Tommy walked a little closer to the body and stopped short once he saw who it really was.

The infamous Blood God. The villain that has killed millions and is assumed to be immortal, bleeding out in an alley way and his fate in a teenager's hands. "Do I have to?" Tommy whispered to himself, trying to get himself to back away, but his legs weren't letting him. Fuck. Tommy thought.

He sighed as he went closer to the villain. He had a huge ass wound going right through his stomach. Tommy knew he wasn't going to die and really didn't want to be stuck in the villain and hero world, but he knew he shouldn't just leave him here.

Tommy picked him up-WHICH is not as easy as it sounds because the guy was heavy as fuck (Not in a bad way)- and he spread his wings. Oh, did he forget to mention he was an avian hybrid? And took off into the sky.

Because he was flying it didn't take that long to get to his apartment (if you could even call it that). Thank gods he left the window open. He flew through his window and placed the guy on the couch. Once he put his wings away, he started looking for a med-kit and a bucket. (Just in case) His apartment was pretty small considering it was a one-bedroom apartment. The kitchen was to the left of the living room and the bedroom was just behind it. The bathroom, where he was getting his med-kit and bucket from, was right next to the bedroom. His living room was pretty small but big enough to fit at least four people in it. The living room contained a small bookshelf with Greek mythology books in it (Don't make fun of it. He just really like them), a small TV, and a worn out, old couch.

Tommy opened up the med-kit and took out some water and a cloth. He lifted up the Blood God's shirt and cleaned out the dust and grime that surrounded the hole. He then brought the bucket close to him and put his hands over the wound. He watched as the hole started to heal itself up and now the hole was just pink skin. Tommy then proceeded to vomit in the bucket.

He got up and washed his mouth with water and looked back at the villain.

Annndddddddddd... that's how he got here with a villain laying in his house. Oh. This is going to be a pain when he wakes up.

Chapter 2: Chapter 2

Summary:

Wilbur POV :D

Notes:

Sorry I didn't start this sooner. I honestly just didn't have any motivation until 10:30 pm

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Wilbur right now was not having a good time.

His brother hasn't come home yet and Phil just met a barista that he immediately became attached to. And Wilbur had seen his earring start glowing then stop earlier.

The thing is, is that the earring is programmed to glow whenever one of the Syndicate members are in danger and it stops glowing when the person is safe. So Techno must be safe. But why isn't he home?

Wilbur decided not to dwell on it and ask Phil about the kid.

"Sooo... What was he like?" Wilbur asked totally not suspiciously.

"Don't tell me you're going to look for him and start to pester him." Phil sighed.

"No father-why would I ever d-"

"I know that look on your face, Will."

"Pleeeeeaaaaassssssseeeeee!!!!!!! I promise I'll be good."

"Fine. He is around 6'2 and has blond hair and blue eyes."

"No personality?"

"Oh fuck no! You're just going to have to find out yourself."

"Are you sure you just didn't forget, old man?" Wilbur grinned.

"You little shit-"

There was a loud knock and Wilbur looked up to see a stumbling Technoblade.

"Where were yo-"

"I got hurt. Some kid healed me and now I owe him." Techno walked up to his room.

What?

Notes:

Sorry for this filler chapter and short chapter. I didn't really know what to do with Tommy and techno so i decided to make this. Also I felt bad for keeping you guys waiting. :D

Chapter Text

Techno groggily woke up, immediately taking in his surrounding. He doesn't need to do this because he would just use his brute-like strength. The last thing he remembered was getting stabbed by the Warden and passing out.

He surprisingly didn't feel any pain where he was stabbed. Techno looked down to see pink skin covering where the wound was supposed to be. After the shock faded Techno looked around the apartment. He was most likely in the living room. It had a small, almost sad TV and a small bookshelf covered with Greek mythology books. (Hey, he isn't the only one out there.) He looked down to see who had healed him and saw someone, around 17-18, lying on the couch with a note next to him. The boy had blonde, almost golden, fluffy hair. He was wearing a light pink shirt with faded red jeans.

Techno picked up the note and read it.  Hey. If you wake up before me then just write on the back of the note a thank you or something. I dunno. You're welcome. -Theseus

Techno flipped the note back over.  The Syndicate is now in debt to you. Thank you. -Khorne

He stood up and walked towards the door, but not without looking back at the kid first. That was when he noticed something. He had scars all over his body and a red-dyed streak in his hair and an almost natural white streak, too. His nails were tinted red and looked like they had old dirt and grime all over them. Techno then noticed the black gloves sitting on the bookshelf. He still had his shoes on and he noticed how dirty he looked. His hair was messy and tied up into a short ponytail near the bottom and he had dark, bruise-like bags under his eyes. There was barely noticeable, dried out blood under his eyes, on his forehead, under his nose, and coating his lips. He seemed to be on guard even asleep. It looked like he had been beaten. There were pinkish hand-like marks around his neck. There was also a slight smell of vomit in the room, but Techno suspected that it had been recent.

With one final look, he was out the door.

Tommy woke up the second he heard a bird chirping.  What the fuck?  He suddenly remembered what had happened last night.

Flying. Healing. Puking. Sleeping.

Tommy got up to check the time.  8:13

He still had some time before work and decided to make himself some breakfast.

Tommy took one out of 5 bowls he had (plot reasons) and set it on the table. He then looked through his cereal and found out that he would have to buy more frosted flakes. Taking out a spoon, he sat down and started eating. He would have put milk in if he wasn't so low on it. He should probably go to the shop today.

Tommy then got dressed in a red and white tee, gray pants, and a dark red sweater. He put on his socks and shoes and got ready.  9:00

That took me nearly an hour. Is someone, like, speeding up time or something?

He walked out the door, down the stairs, said hi to Clementine, and walked outside. It was a nice morning. The birds are still alive and awake and the sun still shining brightly. Before he knew it, he was walking into Tesco. He went into the cereal aisle and got his frosted flakes and since he had extra money, some ramen noodles for dinner. He then walked over to the dairy section and got some milk. After paying, he left. Unlike his father, he went back home.

It only took him half an hour so he decided to pay a visit to an old friend.

Traveling through a graveyard could be confusing to newer people, but to Tommy, it is oddly familiar. Mostly because he went here so often. He waved to a young boy placing some flowers at his father's grave. The boy waved back.

Tommy finally sat down between two graves. Each is decorated carefully with daffodils and alliums. Little coins and different shaped rocks all around and on the gravestones. Lastly, two different colored bandanas on them. Purple and green. Knitted by Tommy himself and even he wore a red one on his wrist. On his other wrist was a cuff to hide his wings.

Tommy smiled. Two friends were killed in a villain attack that killed 12 people. Trapped in a burning building during an interview. Sometimes Tommy wished it was him instead of them. But they would be proud that he made it this far.

Tubbo and Ranboo would be proud.

Puffy: Sorry Tommy

I have a meeting tonight so you can't come in

Tommy: ok

Tommy didn't even remember texting her back but didn't question it. It was already noon. He spent three hours at the graveyard.

Tommy got up and left the graveyard, going back home.

He didn't notice the murder of crows that were staring at him for the past three hours.

"That boy is interesting."

"How is he interestin'?"

"I don't know. Jus' is."

"Does Phil think he's interesting?"

"Yea, he was the first one that met him. Immediately got attached."

"Seems like him. How old is he?"

"Phil thinks he's around 18. He at first thought he was younger, but then changed his mind 'cause Niki wouldn't hire a kid."

"I think he's around 17."

'You do you."

Techno didn't tell him that, that was the boy who healed him.

Vigilante duo, Nuke, and End, were spotted last night in the 9th district. Everyone stay safe.

"Tubbo."

"Yea?"

"I saw Khorne walk out of Tommy's apartment last night."

"...what..?"

Chapter Text

Yesterday...

It was a normal morning, nearly 11. Puffy was serving customers at her cafe. Right now she was dealing with a woman and her daughter.

"What do ya mean I can't have the blueberry muffins?? My daughta' wants some!" The woman yelled at her. The woman was clearly an entitled one. She looks as though she is from the upper districts. Puffy honestly despised people who lived there.

"Mom it's-" The girl started, clearly trying to end this mess.

"Hey! Ya wanted a blueberry muffin. I'm gonna get you one!" The mother yelled at her daughter.

"We-we can just get somethin' else--or better yet, we could just leave!" She looked at Puffy and mouthed the word sorry. Face still red, she tried to lead her mother out of the shop but failed. "C'mon mom-"

'I'm gettin' you a muffin! That's it!"

"Ma'am," Puffy started, "We can bake a fresh new batch of muffins if you like. Though they won't be done for 30 minutes." Puffy put on her best customer smile.

The woman huffed, "Fine." and the daughter sighed in relief. She felt bad for her because it must be hard having to drag her mother around to stop her from yelling at workers.

With that finally over, Puffy started serving the others waiting in line.

Near 11, Puffy's phone started ringing. She checked the caller ID and saw that it said Unknown Number. Nobody ever called her unless it was important and nobody would go through the trouble of trying to find her phone number unless it was urgent.

She walked to the back and answered it. "Hello. Who's there?"

"Captain Puffy."

Puffy could recognize that voice anywhere, but she wouldn't let it intimidate her. "Yes?"

"We need your assistance."

"With what?" Why would they need her assistance?

"We will tell you that when you get there. I will text you the coordinates." Puffy heard a faint beep at the end of their sentence. Huh. He hung up.

She heard a familiar ding and saw that they had texted her the coords. 99-543-167 Puffy's eyes widened. She quickly texted Tommy not to come to work today. Puffy closed the cafe. She had to get ready because she was going to the Syndicate's base.

"Did you call her?"

"Yup."

A devilish smile formed across their face. "Good, commence operation Olympia."

Present...

Tommy was right now laying in his bed at 3:00 am thinking of what to do. He didn't feel tired at all. He actually felt quite jumpy.

He decided that it was no use just sitting there and decided to get up. He walked to his living room, turned on the light, and pulled one of his Greek mythology books off the shelf. Tommy looked at the title. Snake Hair: The Story of Medusa. He liked this one. Not his favorite, but still good. He thought that her story was pretty interesting. Tommy liked to think that what Athena did to her was a blessing. She was always being harassed by gods and didn't have any choice but to comply. Now, the gods didn't even want to look at her because she would just turn them to stone.

Tommy heard a knock on the door. Who would be knocking at this hour? He got up and opened the door, only to be met with an intimidating figure. "Uh... hi...?" He shuffled awkwardly. "We-well come in." Tommy gestured inside.

The villain sat down on the couch and picked up the book that Tommy was reading. He studied it for a moment before placing it down. "You like Greek mythology?"

"Yu-yup!" Tommy tried and failed to sound more enthusiastic. "So, what do you need?"

"I need to ask you what you want your favor to be." Oh! His favor. he honestly forgot about that.

"Well, you see here big man." Tommy stuttered. "I... kinda forgot about it." He smiled sheepishly.

The man snorted. "How do you forget about a favor?"

"Uh-"

"Do you need more time to think about it?"

"No!" Tommy realized how desperate he sounded and started again. "No, no. Um... I want..." He didn't want the man to come back so he had to choose now. "Sword fighting lessons! Yes! That's it!"

"What." Tommy could hear surprise and confusion enter his tone.

"Sword fighting lessons big man! Didn't you hear me?" Well, his emotions just did a 360.

"Yes, I heard you. But, don't you want money" he gestured around his apartment, "or me to kill someone?"

"Nope! Sword fighting lessons!" Tommy smiled.

"You could have anything in the world, but you chose that?" Tommy wanted to laugh at his confusion.

"Yup!"

He tsked. "What a child," he mumbled.

Tommy, fortunately for him but not for the man, heard his comment and shrieked, "NOT A CHILD!!"

Both the villain and he heard, "Keep it down in there! Some of us are trying to sleep!" They both promptly started bursting out laughing.

"This is not good Tubbo." He started freaking out. "No, no, no, no, no-"

"Calm down Boo. We'll find a way. We always do."

"You're right."

"I'm always right."

Chapter Text

"Boo, do you have your suit on?"

"Nearly! give me a second!" Ranboo called hastily. Once he finished, he looked down at his suit to see if he forgot anything. It was a pretty simple-looking suit. It was all pitch black and had some purple decorations on it. Plus, his staff that shoots out water and his red and green boots that light up in the dark so they could see. Not that they needed it because Tubbo put night vision on their masks and goggles, but it was useful if they were ever kidnapped. Ranboo didn't need gloves unlike Tubbo because he doesn't have any fingerprints. (that'll be explained later)

Ranboo rushed out of the room and looked down at Tubbo. It's not like he was that short. It's just that Ranboo, in his enderman form, was a staggering 9ft 3, and Tubbo, being a goat hybrid, was only 5ft 8. So, the height difference was comical. Tubbo, commonly known as the vigilante Nuke, glared up at him. His getup was black and dark green with a little bit of yellow around. His mechanical bee wings fluttered slightly in annoyance. His horns were covered up by the hood and his boots let him jump higher than a normal goat hybrid. His laser gun on his belt and his mask and goggles filled up with electricity so he could shock people from his eyes and mask if he wants to.

Tubbo's power was the ability to control any type of insect and he could make anything explode with his hands. Though, he suffers from bad hearing and burn marks on his hands and body from using it. He can also jump higher than an average human. His horns were also very dangerous. They hurt a lot and were very useful when against a large person.

Ranboo's powers were that he could teleport and he could burn people. He also has this thing called enderwalking. He can control anyone he wants by using it, but if he can only use it every few days. Ranboo can only teleport 2 people, including himself, at a time and he needs time to 'recharge' his ability. When he burns people, he also has a risk of burning himself by accident. After using his enderwalking ability he can sometimes start to enderwalk himself. He can be very dangerous to people when enderwalking.

"C'mon End, we have to go." Tubbo-Nuke jumped out the window and flew up to the roof, while End teleported. "Alright. So I heard that there will be a robbery on 22th street in the 8th district at 11:00 pm. The robbers have already hacked all of the alarm systems and know where all the valuables are. So we have to be careful."

"We have a bit of time before the robbery, so what should we do?"

He saw Nuke bite his mask a bit. "Well, I was hoping you could teleport us there and we could patrol the district a little bit, but then I realized that if you teleported us then you wouldn't be able to get us back."

"We'll walk then."

They walked through the district and eventually made it to the alleyways that lead to the 9th district. You could only get to the 9th district by going through there because-well, no one knew why. Some people tried using the rooftops or flying to get there, but it didn't work. Plus, some people will get lost on the rooftops. The alleyways are a perfect spot for some shady people to sell and/or buy shady things. But no one was there tonight.

They eventually got to the bank of the soon-to-robbery and set up. Nuke started setting up the cameras on the outside, and End teleported inside and started setting up the inside cameras. He went to the camera room and checked to see if the cameras were working. "All good here." He spoke into his earpiece. A hum of agreement came through.

"Alright. It's right now 10:47, so the robbers should be here soon."

"Copy that."

The robbers came five minutes later all in black ski masks and laughing. There were at least 6 of them so 3 for each vigilante. Nuke turned to look his way and nodded at him. End nodded back and teleported in front of a robber and punched them in the face.

Not wasting any time, he pulled out his staff and hit the other robber coming for him, in the ribs. The second the robber was down the first one got up and swung for his legs. End teleported out just in time. That was when he noticed that he hadn't seen the third robber at all. But before he could think about it, the first robber threw a knife at him and he just barely dodged it. Startled, he came to attack him but End shot him with water before he could get any closer. End looked to his left and saw that Nuke had just finished tying up the 3rd guy. Just then the third robber came up behind him and before he could teleport away, smashed the bat on his head. All of the robbers stood in shock. Why?

Because the bat went through his head.

Chapter Text

S-1 got out of bed. The most dangerous class. He looked around his shared room.

The walls were white, its sheets were white, its pillow was white, its bed was white. Everything was white.

S-1 looked over to the other experiment, A-32. Its green and red eyes closed. Its half-white and half-black skin is slightly glowing. Its half-white and half-black hair is messy from the night before. The white clothing wrinkled.

S-1 glanced nervously. If A-32 didn't wake up and fix that now, the scientists will beat him. Quickly, it woke up A-32 and whispered, "Wake up and fix your clothes."

A-32 shot up and fixed its messy hair and clothes. It made its bed and stood next to S-1 in front of the door. The scientist signed for S-1 to follow them and A-32 to meet with the other experiments.

A-32 quickly walked out of the room, head down. S-1 followed the scientist.

While walking down the white hallway, S-1 saw the head scientist's office door open. There was a reflective glass there. It saw its reflection. Blonde curly hair and grayish, blueish eyes. It remembers when its eyes were a beautiful bright blue. As bright as the sun and as blue as diamonds. Small devil horns stuck up from the curls and it could just barely see its red, small tail.

Its bright red wings were neatly folded on his back. It had only flown with them once. The scientist pushed it off a building to see if it could fly. It just barely made it alive.

It continued walking with the scientist, its tiny legs aching from walking for so long. The halls were very long here.

The scientist ushered it into a room and S-1 momentarily stopped. It was the experimenting room. Every experiment was afraid of this room. Of course, S-1 had been in this room many times before, but that didn't mean it wasn't scared.

S-1 didn't flinch or shy away when one of the many scientists put a long needle in its arm for 15 seconds and extracted lots of blood. Then S-1 was confused. Why are there so many scientists in the experimenting room? Usually, there are only three, but this time there were 7 scientists.

Two of the scientists walked forward and grabbed both of its arms. S-1 started to panic, kicking and thrashing all over the place because it didn't know what they were doing. This isn't how its experimentation is supposed to go. They are supposed to continue training it to use a sword. The scientist last time praised it for being so good and managing to take down all of the other experiments. Then, they would see its hand-in-hand combat. After that, they would practice archery, knitting, and sewing. Near the end of its experimentation, it would learn to use a first aid kit and they would teach it how to use its powers. Finally, at the end, they would push S-1 off a building to see if it could fly.

Another scientist pulled out another needle and injected it into its arm. Slowly, S-1 felt calmer. Its kicking stopped and its legs fell limp. The same scientist then took out another needle and injected it into its arm. Suddenly, S-1 felt numb. Another scientist came up next to it. They held a special sort of cutting machine. S-1 had seen it plenty of times.

"This will hurt a lot S-1," The scientist said in a deep voice. "Hold him down."

The scientist moved the cutting tool towards its wings. What were they doing? No-no! This can't be happening!

S-1 tried to move, but the scientists held it down.

The blade moved closer and closer and S-1 tried to move. Then, the blade touched its wing.

S-1 let out a blood-curling shriek. It started thrashing and kicking to just make the blade stop, but it didn't. It kept going further and further and further down until S-1 felt cold hair rush to its side where its wing was supposed to be. It turned its head and stared in horror.

No, not because of the blood. He had seen a lot of it already, but because a scientist was holding his wing. It shrieked again as it felt the blade coming down on its second wing.

Once they finished, S-1 cried and cried until it couldn't breathe. The scientist that brought him to the room, picked him up and brought him to where all of the experiments were eating.

They all turned and stared in horror. Some started bursting into tears, others got up and started running, not wanting to happen to them, while others just stared. S-1's gaze settled on its roommate that seemed to be crying. The tears burning its skin. Suddenly, S-1 felt a phantom pain shoot up his back where its wings were supposed to be.

The scientist placed S-1 down on its seat next to A-32. They looked down and signed, "Once you finish eating, go back to your room and rest. You'll need it.

S-1 did not like what that implied.

"Tubbo get back here!" Tommy shrieked.

"Never!" Tubbo screamed back.

They were playing at the park in the center of L'manburg. Some of the people looked at them oddly. I mean, who wouldn't? They were both 13-year-olds playing in a park in the middle of November without any adults supervising them.

Tommy ran and skidded to a stop right in front of a tree. An acorn suddenly dropped on his head. Tommy looked up to see a grinning Tubbo hanging upside down from a tree about to throw another acorn.

It landed right on his forehead.

"Oh, you're on, bitch." Tommy smirked.

That was how their day ended. Both of them lying on the grass looking up at the stars. Tommy and Tubbo looking up and pointing at the funniest shapes they could see.

Then they heard a cough near them.

A boy with red and green eyes and split skin and hair. He was also freakishly tall.

"Um," The boy shifted nervously. "What are you guys doing?"

"Looking up at the stars!" Tubbo exclaimed, jumping up.

"My name is Tubbo and that boy over there is Tommy! What's your name?"

"Uh, my name is Ranboo."

"Ohh! That's cool! Do you want to know what my favorite animal is? It's bees!..."

Tubbo and Ranboo continue talking, but Tommy tunes him out.

Why does he feel like he's seen that boy before?

Notes:

Why did I feel joy when writing the whole cutting off the wings part? Does that make me a bad person?

In the beginning chapter, it said that Tommy flew and has wings, and in this chapter, it said that his wings were cut off. Before Tubbo died, he made special wings for Tommy. They are mechanical wings that are supposed to feel and look like real wings.

Thank you for reading this lovely chapter!

Chapter 8: Chapter 8

Tommy's normal day :D

Chapter Text

Tommy was just sitting on his couch and watching a bird documentary until he got a text.

Puffy:  Hey Tommy. I'm going to be out for a few days, possibly weeks. I was wondering if you could take care of the cafe while I'm gone.

Why would Puffy be leaving? Tommy thought until he put that thought to the side. She had already done so much for him without question. Why question her?

Tommy: Sure. Should I take all the shifts and all that?

Puffy: Yes Thank you so much, Toms! The key is in the flowers on the left window

Tommy: ok

Tommy looked at the time. 2:26

He could open the cafe up at 4, but usually, most customers come in by noon. But he really didn't want to spend any more time in his crummy apartment, so he slowly got up and started walking over to the cafe.

While he was walking, he noticed a crow watching him intensely. Tommy slowly walked over to it, careful not to scare it away. "Hey..." Tommy started slowly.

The bird tilted its head and chirped at him. Tommy took that as a hello. Tommy walked a little closer and held his hand out.

"What's your name?" In any other situation, Tommy would be embarrassed to be seen talking to a bird, but today was different. He felt a special connection to this bird.

The crow chirped at him again and flew onto his arm.

"How 'bout Shroud?" Tommy asked it.

The bird nodded its head.

"Shroud it is!" He yelled and grinned afterward. The crow flew off once he yelled.

Tommy started walking again.

Far away, a man and a crow were speaking.

"Alright. Thanks, Shroud."

While Tommy was walking, he noticed how busy it was. Well, it was expected. Children should be getting out of school by now. Most children in the 7th district walked home by themselves. If they get out late, they leave in groups and stay at each other's house for the night. More times than not, the children spend more time with their friends than their own family.

Kids were playing in the park and some running in the streets. Tommy smiled, remembering when Tubbo and he would play in the same park.

Tommy shook his head and closed his eyes. Before he knew it, he was in front of the cafe. He leaned over the plants on the left window and picked up the key carefully hidden there. Tommy put the key in the keyhole and opened the door. He was immediately met by the chimes above the door. Quickly, he turned the 'closed' sign to 'open' and got to work.

Tommy started cleaning the counter and dusting the tables. He put his apron on and ran over to the freezer to take out the muffin (mix? dough?). Tommy opened the oven door and put some of the muffin (mix? dough?) in it. Then, he got to work restocking the food on the shelves. Soon, the whole cafe smelled of freshly baked muffins.

As soon as Tommy got to the counter, he heard the familiar ding. A man with a white headband in dark hair and black and white clothes walked in, talking loudly to his friend. The person who he was talking to wore glasses that sat comfortably on his brown hair. He had brown eyes and wore a blue-gray shirt with dark blue jeans. He also wore mushroom earrings.

Someone else stumbled in after them shouting. He had emerald green eyes and dirty blonde hair. He wore a dark green hoodie with black pants. They walked up to him.

"Hello!" the dark-haired man said, forgetting about the previous conversation. "My name is Nick and these are my friends!" He said gesturing to the green and glasses people.

"I'm George," The man with glasses said, before sighing. "Sorry about my friends. They can be quite chaotic." Behind him, Nick sputtered.

The green man stepped forward. "And my name is Clay." He smiled.

Tommy shifted a bit and asked, "Alright, what do you guys want?"

Nick opened his mouth to respond but George started first. "We would like two iced coffees, one normal coffee, and three corn muffins."

Tommy typed that into the register. "Alright! That would be $27.82."

George handed him $30 and told him to keep the change. After that, Tommy got out the muffins and started making the coffees.

He handed them the food and drinks and they left.

Tommy had a feeling he would be seeing them again.

He looked at the time to see that it was 3:27. Tommy turned on the TV in the corner.

"Breaking News!" Last night while the two vigilantes, Nuke and End, were apprehending 6 robbers, one of them hit End in the head with a baseball bat! But, the bat didn't hit the vigilante's head and knock him out, no, it went through his head! Nuke and End ghosts confirmed?"

Tommy continued to watch the news freak out about the two vigilantes. Not really interested, he finds himself looking out the window instead.

The sun was still high up in the sky, but slightly lower than earlier. He looked at the time again. He finds himself doing that quite a lot. 4:12

Tommy planned on closing at 6 instead of 12 because he didn't want to stay up until midnight again. The chime rang again.

Tommy looked towards the door to see Phil again.

"Hey mate! Just the same as last time." He said brightly.

"Alright, big man."

While Tommy was making the drinks, Phil asked, "I noticed you in the window an hour before your shift starts. Why is that?"

Tommy turned to face him. "Puffy left for a few weeks so I'm taking care of the cafe."

He notices something weird cross Phil's face, like when you eat something you don't like or when you smell something weird. "Ah." Is all he says though.

Tommy turned around again and collected the drinks. "Here ya go!"

Phil smiled slightly, "Thanks Tommy." and left.

Tommy just sits at the counter for the next hour before he loses his patience. He didn't want to be standing in a cafe for another 30 minutes so he decided to close up. He wiped down the counter and flipped the 'open' sign to 'closed'.

As he locked up the door, Tommy remembered what happened on the news.

Could they be-? Tommy shook his head. No, they're dead, not ghosts

Right?

Notes:

George, Dream, and Sapnap are here now! (Please tell me if I'm overstepping any ccs' boundaries)

Just so you know, even though these chapters may seem boring and short, but they hold a lot of clues and it will mean a lot in future chapters

Also, in this fic, Sapnap uses 'Nick' as a civilian name. He doesn't actually know his real name.
(Please do not yell at me for this. I know that Nick is Sapnap's real name, but this is for my story and if you have a problem with it, you can just not read it)

Chapter 9: NOT A CHAPTER

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

This is just explaining the story, but there are some important details, too.

So, this is the summary of the whole story.

Tommy works night shifts at Puffy's cafe. He meets Philza Minecraft at the cafe ordering for his sons. After work, he is walking home and sees the number one villain in L'manburg, Blood God, (Yes, I changed his name again) bleeding in an alleyway. L

Before Tubbo died, he made Tommy metal wings that looked real. Tommy has a cuff on his left arm (this is important) that hides his wings. The enchantment is very faint and you wouldn't be able to feel it unless you touch it or have super eyesight or hearing.

He takes the cuff off and flies Blood God to his apartment. I describe the apartment as old and small. I also say that there is a bunch of Greek Mythology books. The reasoning behind that will be explained in a later chapter and chapter 3 had a clue as to why that is.

Tommy heals Blood God and all that jazz and he passes out.

Blood God wakes up and sees a note left by Tommy and leaves a note for him once he wakes up. Before Techno (I go too tired of writing Blood God) leaves, he finally gets a clear look at what Tommy looks like. I described what people believed Tommy looked like after his final canon death on the DSMP. The reason behind that was in chapter 8. Hopefully, you understand why he looks like that by using context clues.

You also see that Ranboo and Tubbo are dead and Tommy visits their graves. Puffy also texted him saying not to come into work.

Techno comes home to a worried Wilbur and quickly dismisses him. (Just so you know, the earring thing is also important for upcoming chapters)

They then have a talk about Tommy and how Phil got attached and all that.

After that, you get your first glimpse at BeeDuo!!

Puffy deals with a Karen and gets a mysterious phone call telling her to come to the syndicate's base. She texts Tommy not to come.

Tommy can't sleep, so he stays up reading Greek mythology books. Blood God comes in and asks him what his favor is going to be. Tommy says sword fighting. They have a bonding moment.

Ranboo freaks out.

Ranboo and Tubbo are out on patrol as the vigilantes, Nuke and End. They stop a robbery and it is confirmed that Ranboo and Tubbo are ghosts.

Tommy's backstory! :)

Last Chapter:

I do not have enough energy to write about what happened in this chapter. It's just what Tommy's day is like.

I wrote this because I was bored and I didn't want to be confused. If it's confusing, please tell me. I accept constructive criticism because I know I need it. I'm young and I know my writing is not perfect. All of these chapters hold a lot of importance in them, literally and figuratively.

Thank you for over 200 kudos on this fic! And over 400 on Blood God's Debt! Your guys' comments and kudos make me so happy! Thank you so much for all of the support over the months I was on here!

(Also, check out my new fic, Hard Boy)

Lots of love!!!!

Notes:

I'm super angry and sad too because I was supposed to go bowling today with my family and a friend but it got canceled because my brother is sick. (Not covid)

THERE WILL BE TYPOS! I wrote this at 10:00 pm with 0 energy and lots of motivation.

This took me 45 minutes to write.

What am I doing with my life?

Every break my sleep schedule gets fucked up. Instead of going to sleep at 9, I get to sleep at 11.

Fuck me /j

Chapter 10: Hello Everyone

Chapter Text

Having already deleted one of my works, I feel bad for discontinuing this one. I apologize to those who enjoyed it.

As you can see, I have not posted or responded to any comments. It's because I don't have any motivation to write or to use my Ao3 account to do anything other than reading fanfictions.

As a result, I will be deleting many of my bookmarks related to MCYT fanfiction. Instead of writing cringe chapters and stories that take me hours to write because I can't think of anything to write, I want to enjoy writing.

Henceforth, I will only post original works and maybe continue to write the "Neither of Us Will Be Missed" fanfic as I haven't grown tired of it yet. The works I have completed will remain and I will still accept constructive criticism.

Throughout my short time here, I really appreciate the support I've received.

Please accept my apologies for this sudden change.
