Chapter Text

It was a normal afternoon . The wanmin restaurant is busy all day long but the most custemors came at the end of the day . People came with they're friends , dates , family to enjoy a nice dinner . And Xiangling was not really complaying . Well of course it was a bit tireing to deal whith a bunch of custemors at the end of a day but the girl was already used to it . She also noticed that people order more at dinner so she liked having more then enough ingredients in her kitchen .And today was no exeption but . . . well in the morning she whanted to recreate a recipe that she found in a old cook book that took a lot of stuff to make , and she messed it up around 4 times so she was running pretty low on ingredients .

So she asked her dad if she can go looking for ingredients before the dinner time . Her father agreed . He too thought that they were running low . He advised her to bring someone along . Xiangling is not very good with directions so last time she whent alone it took 2 more hours then it should becouse she got lost .
,,Those two boys you always hang-out with , Chogyun and Xingqiu was it ,why not bring them? ''
Xiangling thought for a second . If she were honest she missed them . they have't hang-out in about a month . She is always bussy with wanmin so it made sense .
-it would be a good excuse to see them agian- she thought
,,Yea you are right , i am going to see if i can find them ''

So off Xiangling was to find her two close friends . She made a list of what to look for it was quite long but most of the stuff was close by each other so it was no big deal.
-were can i find those two tho- she thought
Her mind wonderd to a place they used to use as a meet up place when they were kids
The three have meet when they were children . She was about 5 and Chongyun and Xingqiu were both 6 . They used to hang out more , play and laugh all day long . She relly missed those times .But she also liked cooking a lot . She can't really go out as much anymore becouse of the restaurant ,i mean she still could , but her dad needed her . He was getting old and he dosen't have that much energy as he did when she was a kid .It was making her sad . When her dad would not be able to help her anymore then she would be stuck in the kitchen .

She did not whant to get lost in tought right now so she startted to walk to the old meet up place . Maybe they would be there.

To her suprise they were . They semed like they were cloud gazing or something .
,,Xingqiu ! Chongyun ! '''

,,Huh? oh fancy meeting you here ! ''said Xingqiu

Chongyun offered a small hello .

,,What are you guys doing ?''

,,Cloud gazing , but more curios is seeing you out of the kitchen , what brings you here? '' sayed Xingqiu standing up . H e offers a hand to the other boy and he takes it

,,Well i was running low on ingridients and i was wondering if you guys would like to come with me to go ingridient hunting !

,,I would love too '' said Xingqiu ,,How about you Yun?''

,,I would . . . like too go as well '' said Chongyun .

He was never one to talk a lot but know he straight up seemed uncomfterble . Xiangling didn't like that .

-Maybe it was just becouse we didin't meet up for a long time . . . . ?- she thought

,,You don't need to come if you don't whant too ! '' the girl said looking at Chongyun

The boy flussed a bit . He paused for a second and then said :

,,No , i really whant to come ''

His bluntness almost made the girl shiver .

,,O-Ok let's go then ! ''

Chapter Text

The three start making they're way to Guili plains . They were is a quite uncomftabele silince . Whenever they used to hang out all of liyue could hear them laugthing .

Xingqiu ends up starting a conversasion :

"So Xiangling , what have you been up too?"

"Well wanmin has been busy like usual"she bends down and grabs some berrys from close by "I tried to make this cake from a old cook book that i found but i messed it up 4 times"

Xingqiu chuckles

"How about you?" asks Xiangling in return

"Well I found that book that I told you about " says Xingqiu with a bright smile on his face

"That is great to hear!" "how about you Chongyun?"

"W-well not much to be honest "

A patch of sweet flowers got Xiangling's eye

"Gahhhh look , look ! "

"What is it?" asks xingqiu

"Look how many sweet flowers there areee !" "Let's go get themmm!" said the girl whith eximent

The boys folow her to the patch . But when the girl tried to pick up one of the flowers a whopperflower sprouts from the ground. Xiangling was tossed to the ground and the whopperflower sends a attack her way . Unfortunately she did not have the time to doge it and got hurt pretty badly . She got some nasty scratches on her legs and arms that started bleeding .

Chongyun quickly came to her side while the other boy took his sword out and started attacking the whopperflower . It was a cryo one so Chongyun couldn't do much to it , but the other boy was qiuck to beat it .

''Are you ok??'' asked Chongyun worried . He seemed like he wanted to cry .

''I'm ok Yun!'' laugths Xiangling .

Chongyun was always more sensitive when it came to stuff like this . Every time someone he knew ended up getting hurt he always felt like it was his fault . Even if he wasn't present when set person got hurt he still felt guilty and it was worse when he was present .

The boy wraps his arms around Xiangling . The girl laugths and rubs his back .

Chapter Text

The three ended up agreeing to go to the wangshu inn and look for some bandages there.It was not far away from were they were now.

Chongyun was still worried about Xiangling . Xingqiu was too .

"Can you walk?" asked Chongyun

"Yun i told you they're just some scratches "

"B-but they are bleeding and all . . . " said Chongyun defleated

Xiangling gose to pat the boys hair and Chongyun blushes . Xiangling gives him a big smile .
"Awwww ling , i was worried too were is my head pat? "

Xiangling laugths and pats the other boys hair too .

.....

When they got to the inn , Xiangling's blood was all over her knees and arms but it did not bother her .

Xingqiu gose up to an employee and askes

"Hello , my you be kind enough to give us some bandages my friend here got hurt pretty badly "

"Oh morax , of corse , come "

The employee ended up giving them the bandages and points to a place Xiangling can sit so she can put them on .

Chapter Text

Xiangling was having a hard time with the bandages. She cleaned up the scatches with ease but she just could not put her bandages on. After twisting and turning in the seat she calls Chongyun and Xingqiu :

''Hey guys whould you mind helping me get the bandages on?''

''Of course we can help you!'' responds Xingqiu with a big smile on his face

''Yunyun can help too, right?'' Xingqiu asks, smile turning in a smirk

''Ah, yes of corse!'' says the other boy almost droping the popsicle that he was eating

''Great, you can bandage her legs and i will do her arms.''

Chongyun takes a seat in front of the girl, on his knees, while the other moved to the back of the girl, taking her arms in his from behind. Now that Xiangling's adrenalin was gone, her body started reacting to the scrathces and beacose of that she started giving small whines and moans of disscomfort. When the girl gives a pretty loud moan, without her noticing, Xingqiu shoots Chongyun a smirk, the other boy starting to blush.

When they were done with the bandaging, Xingqiu asks:

''Hey while we are here how about we order something to eat?''

''Yeahhh! i wanted to try Smiley Yanxiao's cooking agian too, so this is a grat time to do it!'' perks up Xiangling

''I guess something to eat is not that bad, nothing spicy tho!''

''No promises!'' laughts Xiangling withe starting to run ''Last to get tho the top is a hilichurl!''

The other two start runing after her . . .

Chapter Text

After the three have a totally not competitive running match arownd the inn, they sit down at one of the tables and order some food.

"I heard that there are some incredible views from that one last floor" Says Xiangling, pointing to the place

"They sure are, we should go there after we are done with our food." Agrees Xingqiu

The other boy just gives a small nod, chewing on a rice ball that he ordered.

"Then it's settled!" Exclaims the girl happily

On their way up, Xiangling tripped a total of 12 times (Chongyun kept count) but luckily, the two boys were there to catch her every time.

"These darn stairs! I almost broke my neckkkk!!" Yells Xiangling, tears picking at her eyes

"Now Now, Ling, the important thing is you didn't break your neck!" Says Xingqiu, while starting to pet her head with one hand and with the other wiping the tear that was about to fall along her face.

"Your right... But still! The only time we come here and the elevator is broken..."

"Yes, yes, but cheer up!" Says Xingqiu while grabbing her hand and moving to her left side.

". . .We should go to the last floor to see the view." Speaks Chongyun for the first time in ages, while grabbing her other hand, and moving to her right side

The two boys start pulling Xiangling along, till they get to the balcony.

The view was really beautiful on the balcony. Xiangling could see Mingyun Village if she looked in front and the light from the statue of the seven at Dihua Marshif she looked on the right. On the balcony there was a rather simple fence that was made of very good quality wood, and on the sides, there were big flower pots, two with plants in them and one with an odd rock structure.

"The view really is beautiful!!!!!"

Xingqiu tries to give a hum in approval but is cut off by a new voice.

"Why are you covered in bandages head to toes?" a hoarse voice is heard from behind the three.

"Xiao! You scared the vision out of me!!"

After the Moonchase festival, where the traveler introduced Xiao to Xiangling, they created a small friendship between them. Xiao would sometimes come to Liyue harbor and take Xiangling to Jueyun Karst to help her train with her polearm. In return, the girl would make him some almond tofu.

"You still haven't answered my question."

"Geez, slow down, will you? I got attacked by those nasty whopperflowers, they were disguised as sweet flowers."

"Um, I'm sorry but could you please tell us who this is my liege?" cuts off Xingqiu

"Oh yeah! Xiao, these are my close friends Xingqiu and Chongyun, guys, meet Xiao, a friend of mine!"
