Beomgyu felt his hand shake when he heard someone knocking outside his studio door and Its almost 2 am and he was sleepless all this week trying to produce music and keyword 'trying'. he doesn't want to die yet or not at least today.

he's brokenhearted, confused and to be honest lost these days. so he distracts himself with music that it is his escape, he can be happy in here he believes.

he stood up from his chair and dumbly put his phone down. “im a man.” muttering to himself, chest up like he is about to face some monster and confidently will try some punching technique from street fighter game from arcades.

his hand reached for the knob the other turned to a fist to punch and once the door completely opens he ready himself to punch. but it was yeonjun who's outside his door, all in his pajamas and cute sweater.

Beomgyu lost the fight his fist turned to be a shield to hide his blushing face, flustered. suddenly his heart aches because how can he be so weak for yeonjun and why is this so unfair?

“why are you here! its midnight!”

“that's what i am here for, its 2Am and you weren't home yet.. you've been here for weeks beom.”

“that's none of your concern sir, i am very much fine.”

“shut up! also why dont you come in? i thought you were some kidnapper or something.”

“a lot of things happen...” beomgyu gulps because maybe yeonjun is expecting beomgyu to have been moved on from him by now. that beomgyu is back as a bro without feelings anymore yet, his heart is still the same here going again even though it was already broken.

needless to say, having your body massaged and meditating through the hot spa wasn't really beomgyu's thing. he's the kind of a guy that releases his stress to either playing at the arcades or through music meanwhile yeonjun and taehyun does this method as to relax.

taehyun and beomgyu got home, they were giggling as they open the door but the inside of the dorm is dark without lights on. “where are they?” taehyun asked.

“i dont know my phone's dead” beomgyu returns his phone on his pocket, going in to press on the light's switch and brightening the room. 

when a two figure on the corner shookth taehyun. “AAAAAAAH!!!!!”

“kai— soobin— why the fuck are the two of you in the corner?!”

kai sniffles, holding on to soobin's arm who's just head down low as if he has been crying “we miss taehyunie”

“uh, what is going on?” beomgyu asked. he know his members are not normal but this time he's also worried.

meanwhile taehyun is speechless amd also looks frustrated “that's not what im asking about”

soobin pouts “sometimes we still hear him"

kai nods, sobbing “waaa bring back taehyunnie beomgyu you meanie”

beomgyu left the dorm, chuckling to himself. the three have different relationship, actually he had always seen them as a perfect trio. he finally understands taehyun's hesitant to enter the poly relationship. probably because taehyun had always believed that kai and soobin were just meant to be and besides wasnt soobin the one asked taehyun if he likes kai? he was the one who made them two reach each other.

so to be left behind, he have to mask himself that he prefers to be alone but deep inside he wants to reach out too. the true feelings of his.

beomgyu was glad, he took time to get to know taehyun better. after all he really helped him too.

but right now, where could yeonjun be?

“ah! beomgyu that hurts!” yeonjun held on his forehead that beomgyu just flicked at “your pretty hands hurt me” he pouts.

“because how can you just get drunk on a convenience store?! did you forgot you are famous?! what if someone kidnapped you or something?!” he lectured.

they were on the nearby park, luckily there arent people around to hear them besides beomgyu is wearing a lot of layer to cover himself— yeonjun only have mask on and that shining blue hair of his would give it a way that he is some kpop idol.

yeonjun sighs and lays his head on the table (yes theres table at a park, dont ask me its 2020) bottle in front of them. beomgyu reached to grab one and yeonjun suddenly grab his wrist— stopping him.

that he loves him even if he helped soobin reach out to kai.

taehyun fell in love with both soobin and kai. he knew he'd fell into the deep hole as soon as soobin kissed him that night and at first taehyun ignored the signs. he kept telling himself that he loves kai only.

he didn't get to confess to kai on his birthday because of soobin— he couldn't get himself to say the word love in front of kai because his mind is full of soobin and the kiss.

and it doesn't help that after that day, soobin pretended nothing happened.

how could he just do that?

but then... why cant he just do the same?

why are feelings so complicated?

taehyun and kai accidentally drank alcohol because jin gave them slurpees and taehyun kept vomiting on the practice room that soobin have to ask their boss to cancel practice. soobin took kai and taehyun home, he prepared their bed and company the two drunk mess on it.

kai instantly fell asleep, he was hyper and a crying mess earlier meanwhile taehyun... is taehyun but like 100 times more chaotic.

taehyun moved on his side, facing kai who's peacefully sleeping in front of him. he scoots closer and wraps his arm around kai's, soobin must be out in the living room.

he feels his heart beat skip as he feels kai's slowly breathing. it relieves him that he loves kai the same even after all the 'soobin' kissed him thing.

but will kai even... love him back?

he sighs, he bit his lip. 

“hey,” he turns, soobin was looking at them but there's only fond in soobin's eyes.

“are you feeling better?”

“kai.. already fell asleep.”

he stopped feeling alone because of beomgyu. but he wished he did something, maybe make beomgyu feel that same feeling he does.

kai enters the room and see's taehyun on his phone, scrolling pictures in his gallery and notices that its taehyun and beomgyu together at the arcades.

“taehyun-ah” he calls, taehyun looks back at him. “you wish you could've helped him do you?”

taehyun inhales, he stares at kai's lips and leans in without hesitating. capturing kai's soft lips with his, his hands on both of his shoulders steadying him. taehyun suddenly forgot what was he even thinking earlier, kai's kissess felt like magic on him. damn, he even forgot that this boy he's kissing is taken with someone else.

meanwhile kai just felt happiness all over and over again, pulling taehyun's shirt on him not wanting it to end. he didn't even knew taehyun would actually kiss him but he's so happy... he's telling soobin later.

they both pull away, out of breath. kai's eyes adoring taehyun's whispering “again”

and taehyun smirks “soobin's right, you're so demanding”

but kai didn't even care as he do. pushing taehyun down and kissing him once more. his hand resting in taehyun's chest, feeling his heartbeat thumping loudly.

“you make me so happy taehyun” kai whispers, laying his head on taehyun's chest feeling the heartbeat. kai may not understand but as long as he feels taehyun heart beat whenever he's close like this, its enough.

no matter how complicated love would be, as long as both soobin and taehyun are happy. after all, they made him happy back.

its been months already since yeonjun and beomgyu officially started dating and the other three too and honestly being in a relationship but also committing your life to your career is hard. they stopped going on dates and focused on practicing in the studio the same these months too.

and sure, their passion and job is important but sometimes beomgyu misses yeonjun. yeah he do, even if they see each others faces everyday, even if they always say how sick they are of each other, he actually misses him and its hard because even beomgyu see the pout yeonjun lets out whenever they make eye contact.

its the typical day in the TXT dorms where soobin continuously rolls in his bed while taehyun and kai are playing scramble, kai making up weird words that does not work (his opponent is taehyun, he cant even try) but among having the three just chilling in their own space, theres yeonjun and beomgyu laid down in the closet's room (beomgyu has been sleeping there) and watching kdrama in yeonjun's phone.

beomgyu's head lays on yeonjun's arm, eyes direct on the phone screen. he got bored obviously and started kissing yeonjun's kiss softly. the other didn't even budge, then he realize yeonjun fell asleep. (am i the only one who can sleep with my hands hang up?)

beomgyu as the ever genius he is, thought its a good time to clown him. taking pics while squishing his cheeks, giggling to himself, he then took out a marker and draw on his face and he laughs hard that it woke yeonjun up.

when beomgyu first became a trainee, there were lots of things going through his head. he knows he chose this because of his dream but somehow he feels like giving up.  he will be away from his home, wouldn't see them everyday and he'd have to keep practicing every single day.

on the first day, he cannot even make friends and making friends was easy for him. he was always loud but that day he cannot even smile at anyone who waves at him.

on that one room where instruments place, he busied himself playing guitar so no one would bother him but also it felt useless. he saw some of his co-trainee's just gossiping (taehyun) some even sleeping... (kai).

“hey beomgyu is your name right?” he turned around and saw a tall guy. “my name is soobin. wanna eat together?”

beomgyu only nodded his head.

soobin is nice, caring and friendly. he talks about the trainee life and how he got there, asking beomgyu stuff too. “so how do you look up being here?”

beomgyu only replied “i dont.” and stood up before waving bye to soobin.
