Chapter 1: Jungkook’s POV
Jungkook looked at the new shop that had opened up just across the street from his tattoo parlor. The new shop was a flower shop from what Jungkook could tell. The shop was decorated on the outside with blue siding and something like a flower arch decorated the doorway. Jungkook could see the inside was lined with different types of flowers all arranged by color and type. But Jungkook wasn’t really paying attention to any of that, what really caught his eye was the small male who seemed to be the owner of said shop. The male was short with bright orange hair, wonderful doe brown eyes, plump lips, chubby cheeks, and a smile that reached his eyes turning them into crescents. Honestly, Jungkook had never been more infatuated by any other smile. He had met the male while walking to work that day, accidently bumping into the smaller male who hadn’t been paying attention to where he was going. The male had introduced himself to be Park Jimin and had apologized for bumping into Jungkook. Jungkook being the gentleman he is had immediately said it was ok and apologized as well only to be blinded right after by that bright and cute eye smile.
After exchanging a few more words of introduction, they’d both walked away from each other, Jungkook towards his tattoo shop and Jimin to the shop across the street. That had all happened this morning, and even now, hours later, Jungkook couldn’t forget his brief encounter with the small male from across the street. Every chance he got, he found himself staring out the window towards the flower shop, his eyes naturally landing on Jimin who seemed to have a steady flow of customers even though it was only his first day of opening the shop. Jimin smiled at all his customers and Jungkook watched in awe each time that smile appeared.
Later in the afternoon, Jungkook noticed two other males had joined the orange head in the shop, all three working on watering the plants. He watched them interact and wondered who those two males were. By the looks of it, they were at the very least friends if not more, though Jungkook somewhat doubted that. Rather it looked like the tall blond hair male with dimples and the very pretty broad shoulder light brown haired male were together from the constant displays of affection they both showed each other. Still, Jungkook began to wonder about Jimin, was he seeing anyone? Did he possibly have a girlfriend...or a boyfriend? Wait why did it even matter? Jungkook thought to himself, shaking his head and looked away for a bit, but his attention was soon drawn back to the window.
Yoongi, who happened to be the co-owner of the shop as well as Jungkook’s cousin, came in around two. As he worked he took notice of Jungkook’s constant wandering attention. At first, he couldn’t understand why Jungkook was constantly staring out the window until he too spotted the new shop and the small orange haired male that worked at the new shop. Yoongi smiled to himself realizing what was going on almost instantly. He approached the younger when business was slow and decided to pry a bit.
“What are you staring at Kook-ah?” Yoongi asked, startling Jungkook out of his daze. Jungkook stared back at him with wide eyes before shaking his head and mumbling out ‘nothing hyung’.
“Hmm, doesn’t seem like nothing. It seems to me that you’re staring at that lovely boy across the street.” Yoongi decided to tease. Jungkook’s face flushed a little at having been found out so easily.
“N-no! I wa-wasn’t staring at Jimin!” Jungkook decided to deny but that only earned him a chuckle from the elder.
“Jimin?” Yoongi asked curiously.
“The orange haired one.” Jungkook supplied.
“Ah, so you already know his name? What else do you know about him?” Yoongi asked with a cheshire grin.
“Nothing. I just happened to bump into him this morning before I opened the shop.” Jungkook replied with a small sigh.
“Oh is that so? And then what happened?” Yoongi inquired.
“Nothing. He introduced himself and apologized, I did the same. Then we went our separate ways when I noticed he was opening up the shop across the street from us.” Jungkook replied.
“Hmm...why don’t you go the shop and talk to him then? You obviously seem interested in him.” Yoongi said with a small smile.
“No way! That would be weird! I have no reason to go over there!” Jungkook exclaimed, not entirely dreading the idea, but he was to shy to actually do such a thing.
“If you say so,” Yoongi replied turning his attention to a customer who’d just walked in.
Jungkook went back to staring out the window at the male across the street who was now pruning at his flowers with delicate hands. Really, those hands were small, Jungkook could tell that much even from that distance. But those hands were also very cute, Jungkook couldn’t help but think. He wondered what it would feel like to hold them in his own? What would feel like to touch those chubby cheeks that had been plaguing his mind since their initial meeting this morning? Or what about those plump lips? Jungkook continued wondering as he stared at the male from the window. Suddenly Jungkook became aware that the male was looking up and staring at him as well. When their eyes met, the smaller male waved at Jungkook gracing him with another eye smile, and Jungkook could feel his cheeks heat up. He waved back shyly before rushing away from the window and into the back.
Yoongi watched the exchange with mild interest and laughed when Jungkook literally ran away. Looks like Jungkook was crushing big time on the orange haired male across the street. Yoongi smiled to himself thinking up ways to get the younger to man up and ask the orange haired male out. He came up with plenty of ideas but none seemed good enough and so he decided to recruit some helpers. This is going to be fun, Yoongi thought to himself, as he grabbed his phone and texted his boyfriends about their maknae’s new found crush.

Jimin's POV
I smile for the nth time, as another customer came in. I'm so happy that my dream is finally happening. I've always dream to have my own flower shop since I was a kid.
Flowers are special to me, they held so much meaning. Also, they make people happy, and for the fact that they are beautiful too. I felt calm and safe with flowers all over my surrounding.
"Jiminie! We're here" Someone said as I look up and saw 2 of my closest friends.
"Jin hyung and Namjoon hyung! Hey!" I said happily as I hug both of them.
"Wow Jimin, the shop is beautiful" Namjoon hyung said in amusement, as he looks around.
"Thank you hyung" I said.
"You really organized it well Jiminie" Jin hyung said.
"I got help from Taehyung and Hoseok hyung" I said to them.
"Good thing Tae didn't messed it up" Namjoon hyung said.
"He did, but Hoseok was there to fix Tae's mess" I said as they chuckled.
"Well then! Let's help you with the chores in here" Jin hyung said and I smiled to them.
"Thanks hyungs! I could totally use some help" I said to them. Namjoon hyung just ruffled my hair, and Jin hyung smiled at me.
We started watering the plants, well Jin hyung and I we're doing it, since we don't want Namjoon hyung to break something. We started talking about some stuffs.
"So have you met Jungkook?" Namjoon hyung said. My cheeks started to turn into a light pink color.
"Yeah earlier, I accidentally bumped into him" I said.
"Ohhhh looks like Jiminie has a crush~ Who is Jungkook though?" Jin hyung asked.
"Jungkook is the one across the street, his one of the owners of the Tattoo shop" Namjoon hyung said as he pointed the shop. I look and I saw Jungkook writing something. He's so hot.
"Is that Jungkook?" Jin hyung asked as he looks at Jungkook.
"Yep that's him! He's really nice and young" Namjoon hyung said. I wonder if he's in my age.
"That's totally Jimin's type!!" Jin hyung said. I blushed and denied it.
"Now that you think of it, you two look together" Namjoon hyung said.
"Aish hyungs!" I said as they just laugh at me.
"Anyways how did you know Jungkook-ssi though?" I asked curiously.
"Oh! I'm working on that shop next week" Namjoon hyung said.
"Oh wow that's cool" I said.
"I'm worried what if he accidentally stab someone with a needle!" Jin hyung said.
"I'm not tattooing them! I'm just more of a cashier guy in there, and also I'm the one who needs to clean the stuffs" Namjoon hyung said.
"I'm still worried about it" Jin hyung said.
"Same, I better change my emergency contact to 911" I said as Namjoon hyung glared at me.
"You two" Namjoon hyung said as we laugh.
"Oh you have a customer! I'll go in, you can fix the flowers here Jiminie" Jin hyung said.
"Okay hyung thanks!" I said as I took my small garden scissor. Namjoon hyung went inside to get a garbage bag for me.
I started trimming the extra branches in this rose bush. I hum happily as I trim the plant. I don't know why, but I felt a gaze behind my back. I stop and I look at the Tattoo shop. I saw Jungkook just staring at me. I blush (I hope he doesn't see it!) And I smiled and waved at him. I saw him slowly waving his hand. Aww his so cute. Jungkook went back to the inner part of the shop.
"Ah young love at its finest" Namjoon hyung said as he hand me a garbage bag.
"Hyung, quit teasing and go to Jin hyung" I said.
"I always tease Jin hyung anyways" Namjoon hyung said.
"Tease him? I never saw you tease him, except for his dancing though" I said. Namjoon hyung just grins at me.
"Oh I love tease him on the bed" Namjoon hyung said as I choked on air.
"NAMJOON HYUNG!!! I DON'T NEED TO KNOW ALL OF THAT!!" I yelled at him, but he just laughs at me.
Aish today will be a long day.

Chapter 3: Jungkook’s POV
It was late and Jungkook was alone at the store. Yoongi had left earlier on since he had a date scheduled with his boyfriends. Jungkook stared at the design he was currently working on for a customer. It was a simple design, for the most part, the customer had requested a heart with angel wings on either side of it to go on a small space near her shoulder blade. The only complicated bit to the tattoo was the words that the customer wanted written in the middle of the heart. It was a lengthy sentence for such a small tattoo and Jungkook questioned if he could even do it. All the same, he was determined and so he continued penciling in the drawing to make sure his hand was accustomed to the movements.
As he continued working on the sketch a customer came into the shop. Jungkook looked up when the person stepped forwards towards the counter where Jungkook stood. She looked at all the different designs displayed on the counter, her eyes wide in amazement. Jungkook let her look at the designs for a few minutes before engaging her in conversation.
“Is there a particular design you’re interested in?” Jungkook asked. The woman looked up as if noticing him for the first time. She smiled and then shook her head.
“Not really, I’m not even sure if I really want a tattoo.” she answered.
“Oh, I see. Well before you choose a design you should be sure about it. Tattoos are permanent after all.” Jungkook advised and she nodded.
“Hmm...I know, I really want one but at the same time, I’m afraid because it will be permanent. I mean what happens if you mess o the tattoo or something? Then I’d be stuck with a horrible design for everyone to see or something.” she said.
“That’s a legitimate concern, but I assure you, ma'am, we have the best artists working here. We rarely make mistakes, and should we make one, we promise to fix it any way we can. We would never let anyone walk out of here with a bad tattoo.” Jungkook assured her.
“That’s nice...how many mistakes have you made?” The woman asked.
“Up till date only one. But the one mistake I did make was on myself.” Jungkook responded and the woman looked impressed.
“Wow, maybe I’ll get you to do my tattoo then if I decide to get one.” she said.
“I’d be glad to do it. All the designs you see here in the center are ones I’ve done. But you’re free to choose any other design as well. Or you could come up your own and have me draw it for you on paper to see if it is to your liking.” Jungkook said letting her know all their available options.
“Hmm...I kind of like this floral one, but I was wondering if you could maybe change it a bit, like instead of these daisies do a dendrophylax lindenii? Maybe one big one in the center and three or four small ones surrounding it?” she asked.
“Sure. That could be arranged. If you’d like I could work on a few sketches and have them ready for you by next week. You could come in then and take a look and if you like one and have made your decision about getting a tattoo, we could set up an appointment to get it done after that.” Jungkook responded nodding his head, though he didn’t actually know what type of flower she was talking about.
“Oh, that would be nice. I’d like that!” she responded.
“Alright then, could you leave your name, phone number, and a small description of what you wanted, in particular, that flower name?” Jungkook asked sliding a piece of paper and pen over to her. She nodded and wrote down what was requested handing the paper back to Jungkook and placing the pen to the side.
“Thank you very much. I should have your sketches done by next week and I’ll call you when they are ready if I manage to finish them earlier or if it will take me a little longer.” Jungkook informed her. She nodded once more and thanked him before exiting the store.
Jungkook looked at the paper focusing on the name of the flower, dendrophylax lindenii. What in the world was that, he wondered. Sighing he decided he would look it up later or maybe he could potentially use this as an excuse to go to the shop across the street. He glanced up towards the window again to see what Jimin was up to. The orange haired male looked like he was closing up his shop and that got Jungkook to realize it was about time for him to do the same. He tore his gaze away from the window and began cleaning up.
When he was done he grabbed his keys and went outside. He locked the shop and then began to walk down the street towards home. As he was walking he heard someone call out to him. He looked over his shoulder to see Jimin waving at him and rushing over.
“Hi!” The orange haired male greeted.
“Hello,” Jungkook responded smiling a little at the others bright smile.
“Looks like we both close our stores at the same time,” Jimin said and Jungkook nodded.
“Are you heading home?” Jimin continued and Jungkook nodded once more.
“Are you?” Jungkook asked and Jimin nodded.
“Where to live Jungkook-ah?” Jimin asked.
“About five minutes from here, in those red bricked apartments near the park,” Jungkook responded.
“Oh really? I live there too!” Jimin said excitedly and Jungkook’s eyes widened.
“Really?...Do you want to walk home together then?” Jungkook decided to ask, wanting to spend a little more time with the small male.
“Sure,” Jimin said and Jungkook could almost swear that the other said it shyly.
“Alright let’s go then,” Jungkook said and began to walk again, Jimin followed.
The two talked a bit about how their day went and Jungkook found the conversation pleasant though it was small talk something he’d usually despised.
“Have you ever heard of a flower called dendrophylax lindenii?” Jungkook asked as the neared the apartments.
“Oh, those are rare but really pretty!” Jimin said nodding his head.
“Do you have some in your shop?” Jungkook asked hopefully.
“Hmm..no I don’t, at least not yet. I’m expecting a shipment that should have a few of those sometime this week, though.” Jimin answered.
“Oh really? Do you mind letting me know when they come in then? A customer wanted me to do a few sketches of them for a tattoo.” Jungkook explained.
“Sure. I’ll let you know the moment they arrive then!” Jimin responded with a huge smile and Jungkook smiled back. They walked into the apartment complex and Jungkook learned that Jimin lived on the floor directly above him. The two males exchanged farewells and went their separate ways. As Jungkook entered his house, he couldn’t stop thinking about the small male and the fact that they lived so close to each other. He smiled thinking about Jimin and realized that, ok, maybe he was harboring a small crush on the orange haired boy. But that didn’t mean he’d admit it to Yoongi just yet.

Jimin's POV
I bid Jin hyung and Namjoon hyung, as they left me alone in my shop. Its already around 8 in the evening. I started cleaning up the stuffs in the counter. The closing time I arranged is around 7:30 pm, so I can clean up before its really late.
I started cleaning the counter first, putting the pens and papers in a corner. Surprisingly, there are a lot of people who ordered and bought flowers. I'm actually happy people loved it! I hum as I clean the shelves and tables. I look at the shop across from mine. I smile as I saw Jungkook talking to a customer. Why is he so cute?
I just shook my head and started to pack my bag. Today is tiring and fun. Once I gathered all my belongings, I turned off all the lights and place the temperature into the right temperature and I lock the doors. Once I was outside, I locked the front door with my key and a padlock too. I mean its better safe than sorry. After all of that, I secretly looked over to the Tattoo shop.
I saw Jungkook already walking towards the other way. Should I call him? I mean I'm walking that way too.... or is it too much? I sigh as I started walking. You know what, I don't care anymore.
"Jungkook! Hi" I said happily as I walk next to him.
"Hello" He said.
"Looks like we both close our stores at the same time" I said breaking the awkward atmosphere. I saw him nod.
"Are you heading home?" I asked and he nods again. He doesn't really talk that much.
"Are you?" He asked and I nod.
"Where do you live Jungkook-ah?" I asked. I swear I'm not gonna stalk him!
"About five minutes from here, in those red bricked apartments near the park" He said as my eyes widened.
"Oh really?! I live there too!" I said excitedly. I saw his eyes widened.
"Really?… Do you want to walk home together then?" Jungkook asked. I blushed as I look away trying to hide my pinkish cheeks.
"Sure" I said shyly. OMG this is too much for my heart.
"Alright let's go then" Jungkook said as I just followed him.
Jungkook and I just talk about our day. I'm amazed at how good he is doing a tattoo. I always wanted one, but I'm scared of needles.
"Have you ever heard of a flower called dendrophylax lindenii?" He asked.
"Oh, Those are rare but really pretty!" I said as I remember ordering some of those earlier.
"Do you have some in your shop?" Jungkook asked.
" Hmm..no I don’t, at least not yet. I’m expecting a shipment that should have a few of those sometime this week, though.” I said.
“Oh really? Do you mind letting me know when they come in then? A customer wanted me to do a few sketches of them for a tattoo." Jungkook said.
“Sure. I’ll let you know the moment they arrive then!” I said happily.
We finally arrived at the apartment. I found out that Jungkook lives below my floor. I bid him farewell as I continue walking up the stairs to my floor. Once I got into my apartment, I set my stuffs down in my couch as I lay down. I'm so tired, I need to check my orders too. I sigh as I took my phone out and searched for the flower Jungkook needs.
"Exotic eh?" I mumbled as I look at the picture in front of me. That flower was a type of orchids, and orchids symbolizes 'Exoctic Beauty'.
"Well today I found someone with an exotic beauty" I said as I smile and think of Jeon Jungkook.

Jimin's POV
I groan as I turn off my alarm. Another beautiful day. I slowly got up from my bed and look at the window. Today is sunny! I smile as I took my phone from my desk. I saw a notification from my supplier. The one I bought the flowers I needed.
"Hey Mr. Park! The Dendrophylax Lindenii, Volkenfrieden delphinium, Gladiola and the Carnatios are delivered today" It said in the text. Today? I thought it was suppose to be next week.
"Hi Mrs. Lee, thanks for the information and wow its so early, I thought that the flowers will be delivered next week" I type and I send it. Well that's a good thing! I can give Jungkook-ssi his flowers. The thought of Jungkook made my cheeks flush. I was brought back to reality when my phone buzz again.
Fr: Mrs. Lee
"No problem, and my son is here today helping us at the garden! You will meet him later along with my daughter! They are delivering the flowers later around 12 noon"
To: Mrs. Lee
"Got it Mrs. Lee! Thanks and I can't wait to meet your children"
After I replied, I took my towel and some clothes. I need to take a shower, eat and go to the shop. Its still 6 in the morning, the flower shop will open around 7:30 am.
~
I hum a little melody as I open the lock of the flower shop. I look across and saw a guy with mint-green hair opening the shop. I feel like I know hi----
"Oh Jiminie Good morning" Someone said as I look back and saw Jin hyung.
"Good morning Jin hyung! Thanks for coming today" I said as we entered the flower shop.
"No problem Jiminie! Its fun to help you! I wish I can help all the time, but I have work" Jin hyung said.
"Its fine hyung really~ I can handle this" I said.
"But Jiminie! Just hire one worker okay?" Jin hyung asked.
"Okay I will---" I stop as I saw Jungkook across the shop. Jungkook was wearing a white shirt and a leather jacket. He was wearing a small back pack and his jacket sleeves are rolled up. I look at his arms and OMG are those veins etched to it!?!? I felt my breath hitched as I watch Jungkook went inside his Tattoo shop.
"Jiminie what you looking at~" Jin hyung said teasing me. My cheeks flush as I look away.
"I-I'm looking if t-the flowers outside need some water!" I said quickly as I move towards the counter.
"Uh-huh Jiminie, tell that to yourself anyways" Jin hyung said teasingly.
"Shut up Jin hyung!!!" I said as I went to the back door hearing him laugh.
Some hours later, I heard a honk outside. I look and saw a small blue truck. Oh! Its the delivery of Mrs. Lee.
"Jin hyung!! I'll go get the deliveries!" I said.
"Okay Jiminie" Jin hyung said as he talks to the customer.
I quickly went outside and saw a boy, about my height wearing a blue shirt and black ripped jeans. He was also holding a paper and his phone. When he looks at me, he smiles.
"Good morning, I assume your Park Jimin-ssi?" The boy said as he bow. I bow too.
"Ah yes, and you are Mrs. Lee son?" I asked.
"Yep, I'm Lee Jihoon" Jihoon said. Then a girl came from the truck. The girl is like the girl version of Jihoon. The girl was wearing a flowery shirt with black jeans and a black converse.
"Oppa~ Eomma said that the delivery for the Min family is reschedule" The Girl said.
"Oh okay, and Jimin-ssi this is my sister Sakura" Jihoon said.
"Hey Sakura I'm Jimin, the owner of the flower shop" I said as I smile at her.
"Aww! You're sooo cute! Can I keep him Jihoon oppa?" Sakura said as I laugh.
"Sakura, no you can't keep him. And why does everything to you is cute?" Jihoon said.
"Cause! Everything is cute! And wow your flower shop is really pretty!! Can I work here? I need a part-time job" Sakura said.
"Aish sorry for my annoying sister Jimin-ssi" Jihoon said.
"No, its fine and you can just call me Jimin" I said.
"Okay Jimin, well here are the flowers that you ordered, but first can you sign in here" Jihoon said as he handed me his clipboard with the paper. I took it from him and sign it.
"Oh by the way, Sakura-ssi I was actually looking for an employee here in the Flower shop" I said as I look at Sakura.
"Really?!? Whaaa I wanna work here!" Sakura said happily.
"You can, but you have to ask eomma first" Jihoon said as he carried one pot filled with Carnations.
"Oh! I'll help" I said as I quickly went to Jihoon and help him unload some of my flowers.
"I'm sure Eomma will be delighted!" Sakura said as she opens the door for the customer.
"Thank you dear" The old lady (the customer) said.
"No problem Mam~ and come again soon!" Sakura said happily. The old lady chuckled.
"I will dear" The old lady said.
"See! I'm good aren't I?" Sakura said as she giggles.
"Surprisingly yeah" Jihoon said. I just laugh at the two siblings. I was about to put the flower inside, but my hand slip.
"Whaa--" I said, but I felt a larger hand held my hands along with the flower pot I'm holding.
"Are you okay?" A concerned voice said. I look up and saw Jungkook near my face. He was holding my hand along with the flower pot. I blushed as I nod shyly.
"Ohhh Jimin-ssi! Is he your boyfriend?! You two look cute together!!" Sakura said happily. I felt my cheeks turn more red and I saw Jungkook's cheeks hinted a hint of red. I quickly told Sakura that Jungkook and I were not dating.
"Sakura!! That's just rude" Jihoon said.
"What? I'm just asking" Sakura said. Jungkook took the flower pot from me.
"Ah thank you so much Jungkook-ssi" I said as I put my hands on my back. The warmness from Jungkook's hands is still there.
"No problem Jimin-ssi, I'm on my break when I saw you and I thought you could use a little help, so yeah" Jungkook said as he looks away.
"Oh well thank you so much your a great help!" I said.
"Are you sure you two are not dating? Because you two look lile a cou--" Sakura said.
"Just shut your mouth Sakura, aish why do I have to deal with you" Jihoon said. I heard Jungkook chuckled and I swear my heart speed up a little bit.
After some minutes, we all finished putting the flowers inside. The Lee siblings bid goodbye and I exchange numbers with them, so that Sakura can contact me about the hiring and Jihoon wanted to work here too. I also introduced them to Jin hyung, who welcomed them with his 'handsomeness'. I definitely saw the subtle wink Jin hyung gave me, when I introduced Jungkook. Jungkook was now back at the tattoo shop, and I'm arranging the flowers to the correct order.
"So Jiminie~" Jin hyung said teasingly.
"Stop Jin hyung" I said as he laughs.
"Well isn't that cute! Jungkook coming over to help you~ awww" Jin hyung said as I rolled my eyes along with a pink flush against my cheeks.
"Whatever hyu--Oh I forgot about this" I said as I held one flower.
"What about that?" Jin hyung asked.
"Jungkook needs this for one of his clients" I said as I took a small garden scissor and cut one Dendrophylax Lindenii. I look at it and smile.
"Ohhh well go give it to him! I'll handle the shop" Jin hyung said.
"Thanks Jin hyung" I said as I put back the garden scissor and went to the other shop.
As I entered the tattoo shop, I was greeted by the cold breeze coming from their AC. The shop is kind of small? But it looks simple in a way and unique too.
"May I help you?" The guy with the mint green hair said. Oh! He's the guy from this morning.
"Ah yes, is Jungkook-ssi here? I need to give him something" I said as I held the flower stem tigther. I saw the guy look at the flower and smirked.
"I'll go get him" The guy said and I muttered a thanks and he left.
"Ah Jimin-ssi! Hey" Jungkook said as soon as he saw me. I smile as I said hey back.
"Do you need something?" He asked.
"Ah yes, here is the flower that you need. I forgot to give it to you earlier. The delivery was early, so yeah here" I said shyly as I gave the flower to him. He took it and I felt our fingers brush for a second.
"Thank you so much Jimin-ssi and this is a lovely flower" Jungkook said.
"Yeah it is well see you Jungkook-ssi" I said as I quickly left. Whaaaa my heart is just beating so fast! Well today was a great day though.

Chapter 6: Jungkook’s POV
Jungkook watched Jimin leave with fascination. He loved the way Jimin moved about, his walk was unique in Jungkook’s opinion. There was a little bounce to his every step that gave Jimin an overall atmosphere of calm and cute. He really was too adorable, Jungkook thought to himself as a slight blush overtook his face. When Jimin had gone back into his shop, Jungkook turned his attention the flower in his hand. Dendrophylax lindenii, what a strange but beautiful flower. As Jungkook examined the flower, Yoongi cleared his throat, effectively catching the younger’s attention.
“So what’s the flower for?” Yoongi asked with a teasing smile.
“Research...A customer came in yesterday and wanted to get this flower tattooed.” Jungkook responded nonchalantly as he went into the back of the store to continue his sketches before his next client came in for their appointment.
Throughout the day customers came and went, most of them leaving with a satisfied grin over their new tattoos and promising to recommend the shop to all their friends. Jungkook found himself doing a lot of couple tattoos that day, and it made him wonder if he’d ever get to be in a relationship where his partner would want to get matching tattoos. The idea appealed to him greatly but he doubted it would ever happen. He’d been a relationship twice before and neither of those partners ever approved of him getting tattoos nor did they want any for themselves.
With a heavy sigh, Jungkook put down the tattoo gun having finished the cross his customer had requested on his right bicep. He turned the chair around so the customer could look at the newly inked skin before Jungkook wrapped it up in gauze.
“Wow, impressive.” The man whistled seeing the carefully designed cross with ornate vines surrounding it.
“Thank you. Since you are pleased with my work I hope you’ll come again for another tattoo or recommend us to your friends.” Jungkook said to the man like he did to all his customers.
“I sure will. You’re talented kid, ever think of doing more than tattoos?” The man asked as he motioned for Jungkook to start bandaging the arm.
“What do you mean sir?” Jungkook asked genuinely curious as he began to wrap the tattoo in gauze.
“Art school. I think you have the potential to do well there, you could create wonderful artwork to showcase and sell to rich folk. You’d make a ton more money doing that then this.” The man explained with a slight chuckle.
“Oh...I considered it at one point, but I don’t think I’m cut out for it. Plus it’s too expensive” Jungkook replied as he finished applying the gauze.
“You could probably get a scholarship with your skills. Actually, I’d guarantee you would.” The man commented as he lightly patted his arm.
“Maybe...but I don’t think art school is for me,” Jungkook said firmly with a tight-lipped smile. In all honestly, Jungkook had thought about going to art school more than a few times, but he really didn’t have the money or the dedication for such a huge commitment. He enjoyed his job and thought the money he’d spent to buy this store had been a good decision. He’d hate to give up this store for some lousy arts degree.
“Well, if you ever change your mind...give me a call and I’ll put in a good word for you at the local college so you’d get a scholarship easier.” The man said handing Jungkook his business card and then making his way over to Yoongi to pay. Once the man left Yoongi came into the back and looked at the card Jungkook was still staring at.
“What’s that?” Yoongi asked going to the desk in the back to pull out a phone charger.
“The man that just left gave me his card...seems like he’s an alumnus of our local college,” Jungkook said.
“Oh...why’d he give you that?” Yoongi continued furrowing his eyebrows.
“He suggested I should apply for art school, even promised me a scholarship,” Jungkook said shaking his head.
“Ohh nice. I remember you talking about wanting to go to art school when you were much younger. It kind of took my by surprise when you changed your mind and invested your money in this shop with me instead of saving up for art school.” Yoongi said plugging his phone in the charger to charge.
“Hmm...well I don’t think that’s my dream anymore. I like it here, making tattoos is a lot of fun.” Jungkook said as he put away all the equipment, done with all his bookings for today.
“Maybe you enjoy it now Kook-ah, but later on will you? If you do go to art school you could make a lot more money than you do here.” Yoongi said with a serious face.
“I know that hyung, but I’m not in this for the money really. I make enough to get by and have some change to spare so I’m good on that front. I don’t need to become an artist with a degree just so I can make more money.” Jungkook protested as the bell chimed signaling someone had just come into the shop.
“Alright...just think about it some more. If that guy is guaranteeing you a scholarship and a spot at the local college I say you should think more on it. That kind of opportunity doesn’t occur all the time, so you best make sure you really don’t want to try it out.” Yoongi advised before heading back out to the front of the shop to check on the customer that had just come in.
Jungkook frowned as he thought about what Yoongi had said. Yoongi was right, this type of opportunity wouldn’t always be around...but Jungkook was pretty certain he wanted to continue being a tattoo artist. He loved this job and enjoyed being able to create his own styles based off what others requested. He still painted and did drawings on canvases at home but he couldn’t imagine ever selling those works. With another long sigh, Jungkook resigned himself to think about it some more later. For now, he wanted to finish his sketch for the dendrophylax lindenii design.
Night fell and Yoongi left before Jungkook as usual. Jungkook finished his sketches and called the lady, but she didn’t pick up, so Jungkook left a message informing her that her sketches was ready and to feel free to stop by anytime to check them out. After closing up his shop, Jungkook turned to see that the flower shop was still open, or at least the sign said it was, but the written words said the shop had closed about thirty minutes ago. Jungkook chuckled thinking that maybe Jimin had forgotten to turn off the open sign. Jungkook walked towards the flower shop with a smile and pushed open the door which rung the bell, signaling Jungkook’s entrance.
“Sorry, we’re close!” Jimin’s sweet voice called from the back.
“But your sign says you’re still open,” Jungkook called out letting out a small chuckle when he saw Jimin come out with wide eyes, dirt all over his apron, a bit smeared on his clothes, and messy orange hair.
“Oh does it? I guess I forgot to turn it off.” Jimin said with a light blush as he quickly went to the front door and pulled the cord turning of the sign.
“Are you closing up Jimin-shi?” Jungkook asked.
“Yes, I’m just counting inventory and then I’ll be leaving,” Jimin replied as went around his shop checking on his flowers and seemingly counting them.
“Would you like to walk home together then?” Jungkook asked shyly, hoping the other would say yes. Jimin looked up at him and gave him a smile before replying, “Sure, if you don’t mind waiting about ten minutes.”
“I can wait. Take your time. Actually, is there anything I could do to help?” Jungkook asked wanting to be of assistance.
“No, no I’ve got everything taken care of. You just take a seat behind the counter while I finish up ok?” Jimin responded motioning for Jungkook to go sit down. Jungkook nodded and went behind the counter to sit. When he did he noticed a small kitten curled up on some blankets fast asleep in one of the corners behind the counter.
“You have a kitten?” Jungkook asked staring at the yellowish-brown furred cat.
“Ah no, actually that kitten just wondered in this afternoon and no one even noticed it. That was until it got into the dirt I have stored in the back and created this huge mess. Jin hyung and I spent hours cleaning up. That’s why my appearance is kinda messy.” Jimin said with a small nervous laugh as he came around the counter to look at the sleeping cat.
“Oh I see...well the kitten is really cute...are you going to keep it?” Jungkook asked.
“I’d like too...but I can’t really take care of a kitten right now. Kittens require a lot of attention, and I just opened this shop so I don’t really have time to give it the attention it would need...” Jimin said looking disappointed.
“Don’t feel bad about it Jimin-shi, it’s understandable...But...then what are you going to do with it?” Jungkook asked feeling a need to pet the kitten and so he did, petting the kittens back softly as to not wake it up.
“Well...I’m going to try and find someone to adopt it….but if I can’t within a few days I might have to send it to an animal shelter,” Jimin answered while watching the kitten purr in its sleep.
“Hmm...can I adopt it then? Since you don’t have anyone lined up yet?” Jungkook questioned looking up at Jimin with big eyes. Jungkook had never really wanted a pet, but this kitten was so cute and small and it was purring because of his touch. It stirred some sort of longing within him which caused him to want to keep the kitten.
“You want to keep the kitten?” Jimin asked seemingly surprised.
“Yea...I mean it’s really cute and I could bring it with me to my store, Yoongi hyung shouldn't mind too much, so I’d have the time to look after it.” Jungkook explained.
“Oh...alright then. Sure!” Jimin said smiling cutely. Jungkook felt like his heart would stop with the cute smile, Jimin’s eyes scrunched up into crescents and his front teeth showed, exposing the slightly crooked front tooth which was honestly really adorable. And Jimin’s orange hair was catching the light just right which allowed for his features to be further accentuated. Chubby cheeks a light shade of red and there was a smidge of dirt on his right lower cheek, but it somehow didn’t ruin the effect.
Jungkook wished time would stop for a moment so he could capture a picture of the smile, but as soon as it had appeared it was gone as Jimin turned around and made his way to the other end of the store. Sighing yet again, Jungkook went back to looking at the cute kitten and petting its fur ever so gently while he waited for Jimin to finish.
Ten minutes later, true to his word, Jimin was finished and so they both began their commute home. Jungkook carried the kitten in his arms, surprised it was still asleep. Jungkook often caught JImin smiling at him and the kitten but when Jungkook asked him why he was smiling, Jimin wouldn’t say a thing and would simply shake his head.
“Well, goodnight. Hopefully, I’ll see you tomorrow.” Jungkook said as they reached their apartment building.
“Yea, see you Jungkook-shi.” Jimin said with another smile.
“Just Jungkook is fine.” Jungkook hurried to say as Jimin started walking away. Jimin paused and turned around to look at him with a raised eyebrow.
“Well, then you can just call me hyung cause I’m pretty sure I’m older than you.” Jimin responded and then went inside before Jungkook could respond. Smiling happily, Jungkook went into his own apartment.

Chapter 7: Jungkook's POV
Over the next few days, Jungkook was kept busy with taking care of his work and the kitten. Turned out the kitten was only quiet, cute, and peaceful when sleeping. When it was awake it was quite a handful, it would run around and bite everything. It was a really playful kitten who would always be trying to play some sort of game with him. But Jungkook didn't mind, the kitten quickly grew on him, and he was often found playing with the small furball instead of working (but of course he'd make up for the missed work once the kitten fell asleep). Yoongi was irritated at first when Jungkook brought the kitten with him but soon ended up liking the feline. Jungkook caught him looking after and playing with the kitten whenever he has spare time. Between the two of them, the kitten was well cared for and loved.
Jungkook would also take the kitten to see Jimin during his lunch break. He loved watching Jimin interact with the kitten. They both looked so adorable together and it was obvious Jimin liked the kitten just as much as Jungkook did.
"So have you finally decided on a name for the kitty?" Jimin asked one day. It had been well over five days since Jungkook took the kitten in, but he hadn't thought of a name.
"Uh...well kind of?" Jungkook answered.
"Kind of?" Jimin questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"Well I've been calling her Mochi lately and she responds to it well, so...I guess that's what I'm naming her." Jungkook replied as he looked at the kitten who was playing with a ball.
"Mochi? Like the food? That's actually really cute...hmm I think it fits her." Jimin responded smiling happily as he called out the cat, "Come here Mochi!"
Jungkook was tempted to tell him that he had been calling the cat Mochi because it reminded him of Jimin, who he thought looked like a mochi sometimes. But he didn't say it, maybe in the future. The kitten looked at Jimin when she heard him calling her but then ignored him to continue playing with her ball.
"Aw, she's so rude when she's playing with that ball," Jimin commented with a sigh.
"I know. She ignores everyone when she's playing with it. She loves that ball. You know she tried to scratch me one time when I grabbed it? All I was doing was getting it out from all this string she'd tangled it in, and she scratched me!" Jungkook complained glaring at the tiny kitten who was oblivious to his pain.
Jimin giggled before saying, "Aww poor thing. I suppose you shouldn't touch that ball then. Where'd she scratch you?"
"My arm," Jungkook said lifting up his sleeve to show the small red marks. Jimin looked at them in concern and lightly ran a finger over them.
"Do they hurt? And aren't you worried you'll get infected with something? She was a stray after all." Jimin asked.
"Not that much. Thankfully she doesn't really have claws yet. I took her to the vet the day before and got her vaccinated so at least I won't have to worry about her carrying some disease." Jungkook replied.
"That's a relief then," Jimin said letting out a breath of air.
"Yep...so what's new with you?" Jungkook asked wanting to hear Jimin talk some more.
"Well not much, but I'm getting a new worker starting tomorrow," Jimin answered cheerfully.
"Oh really?"
"Yep. Sukara, remember her? She came to deliver the flowers and asked if we were dating?"
"Oh yea, I remember! She seems like a nice young girl."
"She is, and she's dependable, I think she'll be a great employee"
"Yep...Mochi! Don't do that!" Jungkook yelled at the kitten when she tried to knock down a flower pot. He quickly got up and grabbed her while she mewled and tried to get out of his grip.
"Mochi," Jungkook said sternly while looking at the kitten. The kitten looked at him with owlish eyes and quieted down. She could be a handful and not listen most of the time but when he used a stern voice she usually at least would quiet down for a while.
"Well, my break is over so I'm going to head back. See you later hyung." Jungkook said smiling at Jimin before exiting the store.
When back at the tattoo shop, Yoongi said someone was waiting for him and pointed to the back. Jungkook went into the back and he found the lady who'd wanted that flower was there waiting for him. He greeted her and she smiled at him then cooed seeing the kitten in his arms.
"Can I pet it?" She asked.
"Her, and sure." Jungkook corrected. The lady pet Mochi as she continued speaking. "Sorry I never called back, I was actually away on a trip. But I'm back now and thought I'd stop by to see the design."
"Of course, let me go get it, could you hold her?" Jungkook said handing the kitten to her and then going over to his desk to search for the paper. He found it quickly and brought it back handing it to her as he took the kitten back. The lady examined it for a few minutes and then said, "Wow this is nice...I think I'd actually like the tattoo if it looks like this."
"Then shall I set up an appointment for you?" Jungkook asked politely as he set Mochi down because she was fussing again. The woman nodded and so he led her to the front and set up an appointment for her next week.
The rest of the day went by slowly. Jungkook spent most of his time with Mochi if Yoongi didn't steal the kitten away. When it was time to close up, they did so together, seeing as Yoongi had stayed today.
"Good night Hyung," Jungkook said as he walked towards the flower shop with Mochi. It had become a routine for Jungkook and Jimin to walk home together now. Sometimes they'd walk together in the morning as well if they managed to catch each other.
"Night, be careful walking home" Yoongi called back as he started his walk home.
"Will do!" Jungkook said and then entered the shop. Jimin was helping out a customer so he only shot Jungkook a quick smile. Jungkook smiled back and then roamed around the shop while he waited for Jimin to be done. Once the customer left Jimin went over to Jungkook and said, "I'll be done closing up in a few minutes."
"Alright, take your time!" Jungkook replied as he took a seat and waited for the other. He liked this routine they had it was domestic in a way, and that thought made him giddy. His thoughts wandered to what it would be like to actually be with Jimin.
"Finished, let's go," Jimin said appearing next to Jungkook with a bright smile.
"Alright let's go," Jungkook said standing up and walking out with Jimin, kitten asleep and curled up around his neck. They walked towards their apartment but along the way, Jungkook spotted a new restaurant he hadn't seen before. It looked to still be open and quite busy. It was then he realized he was kind of hungry.
"Hey hyung... I know it's kind of late, but if you haven't eaten, would you like to grab some dinner with me?" Jungkook asked hopefully.

Jimin's POV
I felt myself blush as Jungkook asked me out.. for dinner!
"Um sure" I said shyly. I saw him smile.
"Good! I mean cool let's go" Jungkook said as he leads the way. I chuckled at his cuteness and just followed him.
I look ahead and saw one of the newest restaurant in here. Tae, Hoseok hyung and their other boyfriend went in here! I still haven't met Tae and Hobi hyung's other boyfriend.
"My bestfriend and his 2 other boyfriends, ate in here! They said the food here is good" I said as we entered the restaurant.
"Really? Well let's see for our self if its good" Jungkook said as he grins.
The smell of spices and smoke filled the air as we enter the restaurant. It give offs the homey feels. I like it here. I look around and mostly saw families and couples dine in here.
"It looks like a ramen shop" I mumbled causing Jungkook to chuckled.
"Kind of? And there's an empty table" Jungkook said as he pointed to one on the back corner next to the window.
After we sat down, a waiter gave us the menu and asked us for our drinks. Ohh this restaurant serves american and some korean foods!
"I'm craving for some hamburgers" I said as I look at the menu.
"Same with fries!" Jungkook said. I giggled at his cuteness.
"Fries are life" I said.
"True true" Jungkook said. We started talking about the food that we will order, but a waitress arrived.
"Hey! Did you already decided on what will you two have?" She asks.
"Ah yeah, we would like 2 cheese burgers with fries" Jungkook said. The waitress jotted down the orders quickly, then she looks at Jungkook. I raised one of my eyebrows, waiting for what will happen next.
"So um what drinks would you like?" The waitress in her 'flirty voice' said. It seems its like her voice trying to be cute, but it isn't.
"Uh I would like a Coke please, how about you hyung?" Jungkook asks as his gaze meets mine.
"Bargs is good" I said. I examined the waitress, and she glare at me before turning back at Jungkook. What the- I just said my order!
"Will that be all?" The waitress asks as she send disgusting eye hearts to Jungkook.
"That's all you wanted baby right?" Jungkook asks as he looks at me. I felt my cheeks heat up as I play along with Jungkook.
"Yep! But wait I want an oreo shake too" I said cutely as I place my hand on Jungkook's hand, that is laid down on top of the table.
"Okay babe, and one oreo shake" Jungkook said as he intertwined our hands. I felt my cheeks flush, even though I know this is just an act, I still felt my heart beat increases.
"Hmmp-" The waitress said as she wrote the order and left. As soon as she was out of sight, Jungkook and I started laughing.
"OMG- That was too much!" I said as I laugh.
"She is too much" Jungkook said as he let go of my hand. I felt the coldness started to go to my hand. I just let out an awkward laugh.
"But though, you don't like her? I mean she's pretty a little" I said as Jungkook just chuckled.
"Hyung, I'm gay so" Jungkook said as he scratchs the back of his neck.
"Ohh, oh that's cool" I said as my heart skip a beat. Jungkook nods as I saw him shift his eyes. He's uncomfortable-
"Don't worry, I'm not homophobic, I'm actually pretty gay too" I confessed and I saw hope? Glint in his eyes.
"That's cool hyung" Jungkook said as I chuckled.
We just ended up talking to one another, about our day and other stuffs. Once we got out order, we started eating as we share some small talks.
"But my friends literally are in a relationship with another guy" I said in awe.
"Same as my friend from the tattoo parlor" Jungkook said.
"I can't do that, but I love them though, even though I haven't met their other boyfriend" I said as I take a sip of my oreo shake.
"Same, I don't think I can do that too" Jungkook confessed. I gave him a small smile, I was about to say something but the waitress came to collect our bills.
"I'll pay for it since I asked you out" Jungkook said causing my cheeks to blush.
"No way! I'm the hyung, so I'll pay" I said causing Jungkook to shake his head.
"No hyung, I'll pay for it" Jungkook muttered. I was about to protest when someone cough-
"Just pay half and half ugh" The waitress said causing me to groan in annoyance.
"Fine" I said as I gave half of the bill, so does Jungkook. The waitress took it as she left in a hurry. I scowl as Jungkook and I got out of that restaurant.
"She's a total bitch" I said as Jungkook gapes at me. I raised one of my eyebrow at him.
"Jimin hyung! Language" Jungkook said causing me to laugh.
"She is though!" I exclaimed.
"True" Jungkook said as he gave me his bunny smile. I felt my heart quickens it pace. Why is he so beautiful?
"Oh we're here already" Jungkook said as I realized we are already in front of the apartment building.
"Well um thanks for today, I really enjoy it" I said as I smiled at Jungkook.
"No problem hyung, maybe we can do it again next time?" Jungkook asks.
"I would love to" I said causing Jungkook to smile.
"Well see you tomorrow hyung" Jungkook said as he wave goodbye.
"Yeah, and goodnight" I said as I went inside the apartment building.
It's good to be in love.
Chapter Text
Jungkook returned to his apartment feeling as if he were on cloud nine. The unofficial date with Jimin had been wonderful despite that one waitress that had tried to flirt with him. Jungkook smiled to himself as he pried Mochi away from his neck and into his arms. Mochi had woken up at the restaurant but hadn’t been any trouble once she’d managed to guilt Jungkook with her big eyes into giving her some of the meat from his burger. She’d nibbled on the bit of meat he’d given her and then promptly curled up on the table to fall asleep once more. Honestly, Mochi was too cute in Jungkook’s opinion, just like Jimin. They would probably both be the death of him with their cuteness. Jungkook went into his bedroom and set the cat on the bed. Then he went to the bathroom and did his business and changed into his pajamas before going to bed.
Over the course of the new couple of weeks, his relationship with Jimin improved quite a bit and they went on many more unofficial dates after work. Jungkook continuously thought about just asking him out once and for all. But he was shy and afraid of rejections. Cause why would Jimin want to date him? Jimin was everything that was good in this world and Jungkook had a sort of bad boy look to him, which could make people wary of him at first. They probably didn’t fit each other Jungkook thought to himself sadly as he watched Jimin attend to his last customer for the day.
“So where do you want to grab dinner this time?” Jimin asked once he’d finished closing the shop. Jungkook smiled and shrugged.
“I don’t have any place in particular that I’d like to go this time. Do you?” Jungkook asked.
“Hmm...not really. I was kind of craving seafood but I don’t like any of the seafood restaurants around here” Jimin answered.
“Hyung…”
“Yes?”
“Um...do you maybe want to come over for dinner today? I’m a pretty good cook so I could make us some seafood dishes, I promise they’d be yummy.” Jungkook suggested nervously.
“Oh...um sure,” Jimin replied with a nervous smile. Jungkook brightened considerably, as he felt like he was being given a chance to ask Jimin out now. He smiled happily as he took a hold of his hyung’s hand and they began to walk home. While they walked Jungkook managed to pry out exactly what type of dishes Jimin was craving and was relieved that he had all the ingredients he’d need to make them.
Once they reached his door, Jungkook unlocked it and opened it, motioning for Jimin to go in first. Jimin smiled before stepping inside. Jungkook followed after and set Mochi on the small bed he’d bought for her (though she hardly ever used it). Then he ushered Jimin into the living room to sit down.
“Your house is nice,” Jimin commented looking around.
“Thank you, I try to make it look presentable whenever I can. But normally it’s kind of a mess, you’re lucky you came today and not last week or else you’d know just how messy I am. And actually, if you saw my bedroom you’d probably faint from how cluttered it is” Jungkook said laughing a little and Jimin laughed as well.
“I’m sure you’re no messier than anyone else your age, besides you’re an artist I don’t want to stereotype but I still thought I would find drawings everywhere” The elder stated with a teasing smile.
“Oh, they are everywhere just in my room and not in the living room.”
“Ah, I see.”
“Make yourself at home, I’ll start cooking, it shouldn't take me more than 30 minutes,” Jungkook said, but Jimin shook his head.
“No, let me help somehow. I’d rather help than just sit around and wait.” Jimin insisted.
“Okay hyung but you really don’t need to do anything, you could just keep me company in the kitchen.” Jungkook persisted not wanting Jimin to feel obligated to help.
“I really don’t mind. Let me do something, I can cut the ingredients if you want.” Jimin suggested intent on helping out somehow.
Jungkook nodded and lead the elder into the kitchen. He went to the fridge and got out the things he’d need as well as a cutting board. He handed them to Jimin and asked him to cut the vegetables into small slices. Jimin nodded and got to work while Jungkook got out some pots and started boiling water.
The two of them made small talk as they cooked together. Jungkook learned more about Jimin’s likes and dislikes, making careful notes inside his head. He was always detail oriented, especially towards the things and people he cared about. He already knew a lot about Jimin just based on the elder’s behavior and was glad to find they were very similar to one another. As they talked, Jungkook realized how passionate Jimin was about not only flowers but dance too. Jungkook listened as Jimin talked about the dance studio he would go to on the weekends and a few of the showcases he’d be doing.
“I’d love to see you dance,” Jungkook commented.
“Maybe I’ll let you see me dance someday.” Jimin teased smiling happily. They were both sitting at the kitchen table talking as they waited for the food to finish simmering.
“You better hyung or else I won’t show you any more of my drawings!” Jungkook warned but wasn’t at all serious.
“Aw that’s cruel, you’re such a talented artist, you shouldn’t deny me the pleasure of seeing your art!” Jimin pouted.
“Exactly, so you shouldn’t deny me the pleasure of watching you dance.” Jungkook countered.
“Fine you win, I’ll let you see my dance at my next showcase.” Jimin relented and Jungkook smiled happily.
“I think the food’s done,” Jungkook said as he got up to check on it. He took off the lid and stirred the pot before sampling a bit of it. “Yep, it’s finished! Hope you’re hungry cause we ended up making a lot.”
“I’m famished,” Jimin said laughing and then helped Jungkook bring everything to the table. After the table was set, they began eating.
“Oh my goodness, this is really good! You weren’t kidding when you said you were a good cook.” Jimin said and Jungkook smiled nodding.
“I don’t mean to brag but how could you ever doubt me?” Jungkook asked pouting slightly which only made Jimin laugh.
The two continued talking and eating. They managed to finish most of the food but it was simply too much to finish it all. So Jungkook decided to pack some up for Jimin. Jimin hung around for a little longer before deciding it was time for him to head home. Jungkook wanted to ask him to stay but knew better then too.
“Good night hyung,” Jungkook said.
“Night Kookie,” Jimin responded.
“Um hyung…?” Jungkook called out before Jimin could start walking away. Jimin turned back around and gave him a questioning look.
“Uh..would you maybe...um...tomorrow...could I maybe take you out on a date?” Jungkook asked hoping the elder would say yes.

Chapter Text
I felt my cheeks flush as the question kept repeating in my mind.
"U-Uh sure! I would love to" I said shyly as I play with the ends of my sweater.
"Great! I-I mean cool, so I'll pick you up tomorrow?" Jungkook asks.
"Y-Yeah" I said as I fiddled with the hem of my sweater.
"Okay see you tomorrow, Jimin hyung i'll be there around 11" Jungkook says as he gave me a shy wave. I felt myself giving him a shy wave too as we part ways.
Once I got home, I ran towards my bedroom and jumped on my bed. I squealed to my pillows and felt my cheeks blush.
"OMG I'M GOING ON A DATE WITH JUNGKOOK AHHHH" I said as I kick my legs. I can't wait! But I need clothes! Ahhh what should I wear?!?!
I quickly got up and opened my closet to looks for the perfect outifit. I look around and sigh in defeat. It's hard to choose.
"Hmm maybe this white sweater, then white ripped jeans?" I ask myself.
"Nah, it can get dirty easily" I said. Then something catches my attention. I quickly grab it and smiled to myself.
"This is perfect!" I said happily.
Tomorrow finally came too quickly. I just finished taking a shower and now I'm trying the clothes that I picked for my date today. I hope it doesn't look too um desperate? I'm not sure. I look into the mirror and smiled.
"Now I need suspenders" I said as I look for my suspenders, specifically the black one.
"Got it!" I said as I quickly put it on. I'm happy it's my day off today, I mean my store is closed for today, since no one is going to be there. I ruffled my hair to make it a bit messy since it will go well to the outfit that I chose.
"I can do this" I mumbled to myself as I look back at the mirror.
My hair is messy, yet it fits so well with my clothes and make up. I'm wearing a white long sleeve shirt, with my tight red pants and black suspenders attached to it (War of Hormone outfit ^_~)
All of the sudden the doorbell rung, and I calmed myself first before opening the door.
"Jiminie! Hey- Oh wow you look hot today are you going on a date?!" Taehyung says as I felt a wave of disappointment over my face.
"I'm guessing you do have, and what's with that face! Are you that disappointed that is me?!" Taehyung asks.
"Yes, I am very disappointed that it's you- hey don't hit me!" I said as he pouts.
"Meanie! Anyways I was here to ask you if you want to hang out, but I see that you already have plans~ so who's the unlucky guy?" Taehyung asks.
"I-It's none of your business Tae" I said as my cheeks blushes.
"Aw come on! I'm your bestfriend please tell me! Tell me!" Taehyung says as I sigh.
"Fine! It's J-Jungkook" I sais shyly as Taehyung grins.
"Awww he finally asks you on a date?! You two are sooo adorable! I ship it! Well enjoy your date~ I need to go Hobi hyung and Yoongi hyung are waiting" Taehyung says.
"Yoongi hyung?" I asks.
"Yeah, my other boyfriend! You two never met surprisingly, maybe one day! Hoseok hyung and I will introduce you to him" Taehyung says.
"Oh, sure! Well enjoy your date too" I tease as Taehyung just grins.
"I will~" Taehyung says as he left. I just smile as I went back inside. I waa about to go to the kitchen when I heard the doorbell rung. Ah, Taehyung must have forgotten something.
"Taehyung, did you forgot some-" I felt myself stop at the sight in front of me. Flowers in different colors greeted me, along with Jungkook behind it with cheeks colored in rosy pink.
"Hi Jimin hyung? Are you ready?" Jungkook says as I felt myself blush. I took the flowers from him and gave him a smile.
"I'm ready as I'll ever be"

Chapter 11: Jungkook's POV
Jungkook couldn’t help but keep glancing over at Jimin while he drove them to their destination. Jimin looked so sexy in those red pants which hugged his thighs and made his ass stand out. The white shirt and suspenders made him look even hotter. Jungkook couldn’t help but feel flustered. Honestly, the whole outfit should be illegal in Jungkook’s opinion. In comparison to the other’s outfit, his own was much less sexy. Jungkook chose to wear black jeans with a black shirt. He also had a red and black sweater in the back of the car on the off chance he’d need it.
“Where are we headed?” Jimin asked, bringing Jungkook out of his own head.
“Oh..um..it’s a secret,” Jungkook responded with a shy smile. He sure hoped Jimin would like the date he planned out for them.
“Aw, come on tell me?” Jimin pleaded with an adorable smile, which Jungkook almost gave in to. Seriously, why was Jimin so cute? It just wasn’t fair.
“No can do~” Jungkook teased and received a pout from Jimin. Jungkook was really loving the reactions he was getting out of the elder.
“Meanie,” Jimin said but soon his pout turned into a small smile which made Jungkook smile wider. He really liked seeing Jimin smile, it was the most adorable thing he’d ever seen. The two sat in silence for a few minutes before Jimin began a small conversation about light topics. They spent the thirty-minute drive just getting to know one another more.
“We’re here!” Jungkook announced as parked the car in a huge parking lot. Jimin looked around and frowned not sure where they were. Jungkook opened his door and got out then went to the passenger side and opened the elder’s door for him.
“Thank you,” Jimin said as he got out. “Where are we?” he asked still not having a clue where they were since there didn’t seem to be anything around besides cars. Jungkook opened the back seat and pulled out a small picnic basket.
“You’ll see soon enough. Just follow me.” Jungkook said as he held out his hand. Jimin gave him a curious look before taking his hand. Jungkook cooed at the sight of Jimin’s small hand in his own. The two of them walked out of the large parking lot towards a grove of trees. As they came closer to the trees they spotted a sign at the entrance. Jungkook let go of Jimin’s hand so the elder could read the sign. Jungkook had already been here so he already knew what it said but watching Jimin walk up and read it was fun. The elder read the sign and this he looked at Jungkook with what could only be described as sparkling eyes.
“Is this like a treasure hunt?” Jimin asked and Jungkook nodded.
“Yea sort of. There are signs like that all around these woods and depending on the path we take we’ll end up finding certain items. At the end of the path, there’s a shop where we trade the items we found for prizes.” Jungkook explained.
“That sounds so exciting!” Jimin exclaimed clapping his hands together and looking at the woods with determination. Jungkook chuckled and nodded.
“Shall we begin then?” Jungkook asked and Jimin nodded. Jungkook took a hold of Jimin’s hand once again and the two began their search.
“The first clue said the item was red and small with dangerous spikes surrounding its hem.” Jimin mused to himself as they walked the path.
“Hmm hmm, any ideas what it could be?” Jungkook asked.
“Um… not really… it could be anything.” Jimin replied frowning.
“Here’s a hint, it has to do with flowers,” Jungkook said knowing Jimin would immediately know the answer.
“A rose!” Jimin shouted and Jungkook nodded then pointed to their left where a bunch of rose bushes were. Jimin happily pulled them over to the rose bush and plucked one making sure to be careful of the thorns.
“For you~,” Jimin said handing it to Jungkook who smiled and happily took it thanking the elder. He smelled the rose’s sweet fragrance before setting it inside the picnic basket he’d brought along.
“Where’s the next clue?” Jimin asked looking around. Jungkook pointed to the sign which was sort of hidden by the bushes.
“Sure roses are red, but violets aren’t blue, look and see maybe you’ll find one too” Jimin red the sign out loud. “Is it saying to find a violet?”
“Yea,” Jungkook answered.
“Oh, where do we find those?” Jimin asked and Jungkook pointed in the direction they’d need to go.
“Keep your eyes peeled for more signs, they’re usually hidden along the way,” Jungkook said as they walked.
The two of them spent the entire day solving riddles and looking for the items while walking around the woods. They sometimes came across others who were also solving riddles and they would help one another if need be. When it was about two in the afternoon Jungkook found them a nice spot to have lunch. He’d actually packed a picnic for them in the basket in which they’d been collecting the items. The two of them talked and ate while enjoying the beautiful scenery. When they’d finished eating, they packed up and continued their treasure hunt.
It was late in the afternoon when they finally came to the shop in the center of the woods. They’d managed to collect a lot of items and were able to trade it for a very large teddy bear. After receiving their prize they had dinner in the cafe. After dinner, they got on the zip lines which took them back to the area they’d parked in. Jungkook had sensed how nervous Jimin seemed about ziplining back to where they’d started but Jungkook was able to convince him to try.
“So how do you like zip lining?” Jungkook asked once they’d reached the end of the zip line.
“It was more fun than I thought it would be,” Jimin replied and Jungkook smiled brightly happy the elder hadn’t been scared.
“How did you like our date?” Jungkook asked as they got in the car, both ready to get home and rest after such an adventurous day. Jimin smiled as he answered, “I loved it”.
