Elliot stared at the delivery instructions on the last box of pizza he had to deliver for the night, his fingers idly running over the crinkled piece of paper taped haphazardly to the top of the box. The edges of the paper curled, threatening to peel away entirely, and the ink, faint and smudged, made deciphering the address hard. He squinted at the barely legible writing, frustration bubbling under his surface.
After months of delivering pizzas, Elliot had practically memorized every address of the area, even if it was in the weirdest of spots. He could navigate dark alleys, winding suburban streets, and even shortcuts through industrial zones without a second thought.
