  Summary

  (Hear me out: Encanto x B99 AU bcuz y'know, Rosa and Mirabel have the same actress. you guys get it. this will be really cringe; sorry in advance)

  Jake Peralta is bored while being stuck during desk duty when his alarm for his lunch break saves him from his self-appointed hell. As he walks down the stairs to the lobby, a frantic woman stops him and asks him for help locating two children-- all in Spanish that he manages to stumble through. As the case progresses, things get weird. Weird and illogical. Threatening letters, a strange all-knowing girl, a family secret, and something tying all of these strings to a fellow detective. Better than paperwork.
