He held two tokens in his fingers.

He stepped closer without waiting for an answer, sliding the coin with a click.
He wasn’t expecting Seong-je to reach over, to gently tap your fingers into the right position. “You’re pressing the wrong combo,” Seong-je said. “Here. Hold it like this.”
His hand was rough, from fights, probably. But careful, as if Woo-young was something that needed soft hands.
“You always fight this gently?” Woo-young asked, trying to sound steady.
Seong-je gave him a small, wry smile.
“Only when it’s with you.”

They are safe for a while, but then the Warriors of Hope strike. Forcing him to survive.
Thanks to his wits and with help from Kaito Momota and Kaede Akamatsu, he survives. However, while out on a supply run, he runs into the unconscious Nagisa Shingetsu by pure chance, but the boy is injured. He knows he won’t survive without help. Against his better judgment, he decides to help nurse the boy back to health as well as find his other friends. After all, he can't just leave someone who needs help behind. Even if the world thinks he should.
