fWhip also glances at Jimmy. He wants Jimmy to say ‘yes,’ to follow Gem and fWhip and stay with them so fWhip knows he’s safe, but it only takes one look to know that this won’t be the case.
“Lizzie said my empire’s dried up.” Jimmy says quietly. “I need to go check on my people.”
“We understand.” Gem says.
“I’ll see you in two days?” Jimmy asks.
“Yes, of course.” fWhip says hoarsely.
He’s hyper aware of Gem’s attention on the two of them, but he doesn’t care. He leans forward and kisses Jimmy quickly.
“Don’t die.”

Summary
Tubbo loves his family, even if it's different. His parents love him, so why should he care if his mother can swim in lava and can rip a piglin in half? He thinks that's cool. Maybe your just jealous your mother isn't a dragon.
Tubbo thought he'd stay with his family forever, but when his father leaves one day and doesn't return for years, he leaves in the middle of the night to find him.
He finds something else though, and Tubbo has to decide whether to side with newfound friends, or darken his morals for the only person that's truly like he is.

So imagine his surprise when he not only runs into one in the middle of the woods, but it can talk back to him.
