“I know my actions can come across as patronizing or overbearing to you and the other guys sometimes, but I don’t act like this because I think you guys are children who can’t take care of yourselves like you always assume.” You continue, “The reason I act the way I do is simple.”
Smiling, you meet his gaze. “It’s because I just really like you guys. Your happiness and comfort is important to me, so if there are things I can do to ensure those two things are never threatened, then I won’t hesitate to act.”
You ruffle his hair. “So, just let me dote on you, okay? It makes me happy just as much as it does you, so we both win in the end.”
His eyes widen in surprise for a moment, and then, his face reddens. “It does not make me happy! I keep telling you it does the exact opposite! Pay closer attention to what others say, human!”
For a moment, you consider reminding him how good you are at recognizing when people are lying, which is exactly what he’s doing right now, but in the end, for the sake of his dignity and your eardrums, you refrain.
Instead, you just giggle as you return to tending to his injuries. “Whatever you say, Sebek~”

When it comes to the subject of beauty, you don’t consider yourself knowledgeable at all, so you don’t always understand Vil’s methods. Instead, you just usually choose to trust his judgment since he wouldn’t have gotten as far as he has if he didn’t know what he was doing.
That said, this is the one instance where you can't bring yourself to agree with Vil since you personally think Epel is his most charming when he’s relaxed and being himself. You much prefer his animated expressions over the aloof ones he wears as a result of him trying not to reveal his true personality.
To you, nothing’s better than the big grin Epel wears when he’s proudly talking about his family’s apple farm or when he’s getting rared up for a good brawl. The way he practically glows during those moments makes him more beautiful than any makeup or fancy outfit ever could.
Much like the apple juice his family makes that doesn’t require the use of any preservatives, which is far superior to any other apple juice you've ever had, a natural Epel is the best Epel in your book.
Definitely.

Summary
Regrettably, as per usual, your good mood doesn’t last for long thanks to your Quirk, which chooses that moment to activate.
In a blink, a vision overtakes your senses, and you find yourself staring wide-eyed at the sight of you and Sebek caught up in a blizzard, which forces the two of you to eventually take shelter in a cave and keeps you both there for what looks like several hours since, when your vision later shows you when the snowstorm will finally end, you notice how dark it is outside.
This completely catches you off guard since there had been no signs up until this point that implied there’d be bad weather today. Just goes to show how unreliable weather forecasts can be.
Upon seeing what the future has in store for you, the first thought that crosses your mind is:
Field trips with Coach Vargas really are the worst.

Out of all your sons, Jack is the one who causes you the least amount of trouble, and for that, you’ll forever be grateful since it’s a weight off your shoulders to know you don’t have to worry about Jack as much as you do Grim, Ace, and Deuce. Even better, Jack's trouble is usually the kind of trouble that requires minimal interference on your part. That’s why troublesome events that involve Jack are the least difficult for you to deal with and as a result have by far the least stressful impact on you.
At least, that was the case until today anyway.

Summary
Night Raven College's botanical garden has been chosen as the location for this year's Fairy Gala, a festival that the fairies hold every year to usher in spring. While being chosen as the location for such an important festival would normally be seen as an honor, it's nothing but a nuisance to you and everyone else at NRC because some of the gala fairies stole the school's magestone which the NRC fairies use to keep the temperatures on campus regulated.
As a result, thanks to Crowley, you find yourself joining the team that's in charge of stealing the magestone back without the gala fairies noticing since upsetting them poses the risk of incurring their wrath and facing an eternal winter.
Needless to say, failure is not an option.

You have seen a lot of strange things over the years. This is to be expected, considering you grew up in a world where superpowers were the norm and then somehow ended up in a completely different world where magic is actually real.
As a result, because dealing with unusual things is par for the course, you’ve reached the point where it will take a lot for anything to really surprise you. Only something really surreal would genuinely catch you off guard.
Like, say, sentient plushies that greatly resemble your friends suddenly falling from a hole in the sky and invading everyone's lives.

Halloween has arrived, and you couldn't be more excited since you've never gotten the chance to properly celebrate the holiday before. Now, you can with all the friends you've made at NRC; you plan to make as many great memories with them as possible, so you'll never forget your first Halloween.
At least, that was your intention. Unfortunately, while you do get your wish for an unforgettable Halloween, it's in the worst way possible, thanks to certain guests, who earn themselves the nickname, "Magicam Monsters", because they only care about their social media cred and having a good time. Their complete disregard of the feelings of everyone else around them has led to them causing a lot of trouble for the NRC faculty and student body, including you and Grim who unfortunately end up with targets on your backs thanks to a viral ghost selfie and your minor Magicam celebrity status.
Needless to say, this was not the kind of first Halloween experience you were hoping for.

Summary
As of late, you've been under a lot of stress, which is why you're in desperate need of an opportunity to just cut loose and go wild. Fortunately, you finally get that much needed opportunity thanks to Beanfest, a yearly event where the whole NRC student body is divided up into two teams, Farmers and Monsters. Farmers are tasked with retrieving a harp before time runs out while Monsters have to protect the harp if they wish to win. All the while, students do their best to take out as many members of the opposing team as they can.
You, however, intend to play the game with a completely different goal in mind, because all you care about is having as much fun as possible while you exact vengeance against all of the students who have slighted you since the beginning of the school year.
After all, as one of the morals of the Beanfest parable goes: “When someone wrongs you, get them back twice as hard.”

A few days have passed since the strange alien creatures, otherwise known as tsums, invaded your and your friends lives, and you still often find yourself thinking about them during your spare time. You can't help but hope that you'll one day meet more of them since you'd love to see how the rest of your friends would look as adorable, sentient stuffed animals. Sadly, the chances of that happening are quite low since Crowley has reportedly strengthened Night Raven College’s barrier in order to ensure the school doesn’t have to worry about any more unexpected invaders.
At least, or so you thought.

A few days following the Ghost Bride incident, your bad luck strikes again in the form of Crowley giving you and Grim the stressful task of assisting Deuce, Trey, and Idia, who will be the Stargazers for Night Raven College's upcoming Starsending event - a yearly event where all of NRC's students make wishes to send to the stars, which the Stargazers are in charge of collecting.
Regrettably, every year, almost the entire NRC student body is always very uncooperative since they all see participating in Starsending as a chore, making the wish-collecting process quite difficult for the Stargazers, and you're sure that things will only get worse for the Stargazers this year due to your involvement, because you're so unpopular with the majority of the student body. That's why you are not looking forward to what this troublesome school event has in store for you.
Not one bit.

Since you haven't gotten the chance to see much of this foreign, magical world you've found yourself in, you're very excited about this trip, especially since Sebek, Jade, and Idia are also coming along, making this your first trip with friends.
However, this trip won't be all fun and games for Epel, Sebek, Jade, and Idia, who will be participating in the Harveston Sledathon, because, after you all find out that the local team that's been winning the sled race for the last three years won't be able to compete this year, your friends are told that THEY have to be the ones who come in first place this year, lest they face the wrath of Epel's zealous grandmother who won't accept anyone other than a Harveston local winning the race.
Needless to say, losing is not an option.
