This is a story in which Obi-Wan Kenobi is only three years older than Anakin Skywalker.
In this story, Obi-Wan is destined to be a Jedi, but spends his early life as a slave, not joining the Order until age 12.
He is raised by Anakin’s parents in the desert sands of Tatooine.
He is a padawan first to Dooku, then to Qui-Gon Jinn.

But when one of the emissaries approached the pair on the stage with a serious expression on his face, and the music around them quieted to something more somber - romantic almost - Anakin’s smile began to falter, and along with it his amusement. The emissary began to speak in a language, and as he spoke he swung an incense burner back and forth, the smoke tickling Anakin’s nose. He watched as Obi-Wan did his best to hold off from sneezing, his face going a darker shade of red with each swipe.
At least, that was what Anakin thought he was trying to do.
Until the emissary clasped their shoulders and in perfect Galactic Basic Standard declared he and Obi-Wan officially married.
