Road to world cup with Nagi ended as soon as Nagi was disqualified during the top 23 world cup team selection. Reo was placed in 7th place but Nagi meanwhile had dropped to the 24th place. Barely below the crossing line but he had accepted his fate. Reo tried to defend the lazy genius but as Ego said, "This is Blue Lock" Reo knew there won't be anymore Nagi and Reo. With tears, the two bestfriend send each other good bye.
Unfortunately, none of the two expected it to be their last meeting.
