Summary
Dick's parents taught him the importance of always keeping his coat safe, of how important it was to keep anyone from getting their hands on it. How humans would do almost anything to possess something that would make a selkie follow their commands like a slave.
But his parents are gone now, and there's no one there to back Dick up when the hunter with the one eye arrives.
