  Summary

  Lifeless and cold.
  What was he hoping for? A twitch of his fingers, a slight flutter of his eyes? It had been days but Nate showed no signs of waking up. He knew he would not respond.

  There were so, so many things that led to this happening, yet at the end of the day, Damian could not help but feel an overwhelming sense of guilt well up in him. The worried faces of Nate's relatives, colleagues, acquaintances alike – a constant reminder of what he could have prevented. What he would have prevented if only he had known.
