Summary
There was together, but there was mostly alone. They'd clutch the Constructors, it was a certainty. But the other issue? The one unspoken thing? Like a poorly kept secret between them. They would answer the same thing to every media, saying that they'd fight up until the end to win the championship. But to survive? Oh, no, they couldn't talk about it. It was a poisonous topic. The moment one could catch the forbidden fruit, the other would fall.
One had to win, one had to lose. Lately, whenever Lando looked at Oscar, he'd see the crown already on his head. It was a disgusting thought. But what a glorious image.
