Summary
Back home, Neteyam was a hunter. An unparalleled archer of his age. An expert ikran rider. Here in the reefs of Awa’atlu, it was as if the waves had washed away all of his past—his training, his accomplishments, his stature. Everything except his family and their expectations, because above all else, he was an eldest son.
But there was one thing he hadn’t lost to the water. His hands, that had made his bow from the remains of the Home Tree, that had made the visor he donned on his last ride from the mountains. His hands, that could weave and build.
