Aelin is someone often told by adults that she far too imaginative and needs to get her head back on the ground to grow up a proper young woman. So whatever will she do when said imagination takes her to depths never before experienced, finding a whole new world lurking beneath her own?
An Alice in Wonderland au, because I can easily picture Aelin as Alice. Both are blonde, curious, fiery things with a knack for getting into trouble.
