Summary
Rebecca Sayer has been a part of Henry VIII's court for some time now, but she returned home after the death of her mother left her to run the family estate by herself. Her one constant is Charles, who refuses to let her forget her friends at court and come to bother her incessantly. He's not really a bother, though. She's just resigned herself to pining to herself, and poor Charles is never the wiser.
