Summary
Silco is used to getting in trouble down in the pit, but now he's gotten himself into the kind of pinch he cannot escape from easily - until an unexpected meeting at a jail cell offers him an escape. However, his savior has dangers of his own attached, and Silco soon finds himself in the middle of a race against time to save Zaun from a massive calamity he and Vander wound up unleashing without meaning to.

Vander returns to the mines to find a lost friend's corpse, but gets distracted by a pretty bird, and they unleash an unimaginable horror into the mines together, that they need to somehow survive and stop.
