August 15th, 1997, was the last day that Stuart worked at Uncle Norm’s Organ Emporium, a shop he’d worked at since he was 16. On that day, a Vauxhall Astra was driven through the front window and many of the keyboards were stolen. Stuart lost two of his front teeth when the ceiling fell on him, and then he was kidnapped by the robber. To Norm, it made sense to put blame on Stuart for the break-in and theft, as Stuart had been manning the shop by himself when it happened and hadn't been present to defend himself afterwards. Stuart was subsequently fired. August 15th, 1997, was a strong contender for the worst day in Stuart’s life.

Season 4 Episode 4 the cheerleaders make kryptonite/love chemical and put it into the sports drink the football players drink, and this fic is if after the events of the episode, Lex Luthor decided to test drink some himself. I tried to make this canon compliant, so you can imagine it during and just post-episode 4 for some added spiciness to canon, if you'd like.
First there's some Lex Luthor perspective on what was going through his head this episode when he bought Smallville football team jerseys and gave them the speech (then talked to Clark), when he was in Clark's barn then saved him from Jason and was going to help a wounded Clark until Clark just was Fine again, and when him and Clark talk in the Room. Then post-episode, Lex tries some of the love potion the cheerleaders made, stuff ensues, and Clark shows up.
Or: Lex and Clark both want the truth so much it hurts, and both can't stop themselves from lying to each other.

This is a slow, quiet story about Mycroft Holmes and Gregory Lestrade's blooming romance. My goal was to publish one chapter per day starting from the 1st of october, but I was terrified of not being able to keep the rhythm : I took a bit of an head start and now I have 6 chapters ready in advance, yay me ! The point of this is for me to start liking writing again, and to prove myself that I'm able to write at the pace of 1 000 words per days : meaning that each chapter will exactly be 1 000 words. Not sure the fandom is still alive, but I fell back into it, so yeah, hope you'll enjoy this !

Truthfully, Richie didn't actually have a problem with girls. When he was younger, he used to resent them because he didn't understand their appeal. When he was even younger, most of his friends were girls, but he grew out of that by age six. Chasing after girls always seemed like a major waste of time, and he'd simply thought he was better than other boys for not getting braindead around girls. It was incredibly frustrating, though, watching his friends get distracted by them over and over. He’d only learned to live with it once he figured out that he's the weird one, not them. So he didn't have a problem with girls as a whole. Some of them— a lot of them— were great, actually. Like Bev. He really only had problems with girls for valid reasons or when Eddie liked one of them.
