The Corruption is spreading. With each destroyed AU, Nightmare gains more power. Dream has given up hope that his brother can be saved, and now his only goal is to destroy the Corruption once and for all. For if he doesn't, there won't be a multiverse anymore, and the Corruption could spread to nearby multiverses.
It was thought, since the beginning of the Corruption, that Error was part of it, but Ink discovers that's not the case. The Truce was never broken. But when he goes to find Error, he finds something much worse.
Not everyone fears the Corruption though. Some believe that it's a way to cleanse the multiverse, to make it new. Killer, who serves the Corruption, holds out hope that this new multiverse will be made just for him. That this is all happening because the Corruption favors him. “BAHAHHAHAHA!” XChara was rolling on the ground clutching his stomach from laughing as he watched the snow slide down Cross’s cheek.
