Summary
After surviving Geonosis, Padawan Vokio Pada is given command of the 442nd Siege Battalion and the burden of leadership in a war her Order never prepared her for. As the Jedi Temple turns into a war room and old certainties begin to erode, Vokio must confront what it means to lead, to protect, and to be obeyed. Following a trail her now-dead Master set her on, she begins to suspect a deeper design. A Sith hand guiding both sides, its roots stretching back to millenia and only exposed by the death of Qui‑Gon Jinn.
Thrust into a Galaxy engulfed in turmoil, she will have to survive the horrors of the clone wars, betrayal by those she grew to trust, life on the fringes of the Galaxy, and ultimately confront the ghosts of the Jedi's past, present, and future.
