Within the fight Arnora was separated from Eivor and her mother; within the battle she would have been cut down but Sigurd saved her in time so she could run away. But during her running she was caught within a fire in a building that collapsed on itself from the flames, giving her a burn that now covers her face on the left side while also being part blind in her left eye. What shall happen once she returns to her old clan? Will people remember her? Will her brother even believe that she is his sister? What will happen when she sees her childhood crush Sigurd? Sigurd thinks, if he was the writer of his own sagas, he would describe himself as ice. A large block of it, the exact colour of his eyes. Made of sharp, clean edges.
If he was the writer of his own sagas, he would describe his life as a series of events that completely shattered his block of ice; building it up slowly through the years, honing it, crafting it to it’s deceptively strong shape, only to shatter it once again.
