Octavia Brightwater is a transgender woman from the city of Silverymoon, a talented young woman that wants to get away from the limited life she has in her hometown and so seeks to travel to the city of Waterdeep to live her best life. Unfortunately, she is in the wrong place at the wrong time and is captured by a drow raiding party. Forced to demean herself for the pleasure of her masters, the broken woman seeks freedom and acceptance wherever she can. Perhaps she can find salvation in the arms of a vengeful drow woman, seeking to reclaim her house and fight against the Lolthite stranglehold on her people.

Oh gods, her name. After escaping Menzoberranzan, she had abandoned the male name given to her by her matriarch, but had never considered a new one. She hadn’t needed to, having spent the only time on the surface afterwards in solitude. She quickly looked around, spotting a cluster of flowers hidden among the foliage.
Shadowheart followed her pointed finger until her gaze settled on the flowers.
“Your name is Violet?”
