Summary
Rebecca Welton has had her name at the top of the UK billboard charts since she rose to fame in early adulthood. Decades later, and for the first time, she hasn't put out a new single following her husband's divorce of nearly 11 years. Now, the only time her name is in the news is when it's followed by the word 'Old' and isn't even accompanied by a picture of her. This should make her angry and motivated to put a new song out for her label. Except the label she's a part of is owned by her ex, and she wants nothing more than to burn it to the ground. With a European leg of a tour coming up, she decides there's no better way to ruin Rupert than by destroying the image he made for her. But when the chance finally comes, they meet the people meant to ruin everything, the ever-mysterious Beard and Ted Lasso, his manager who just so happens to be a New York Times best-selling author; they swear to do everything they can to make sure they meet her expectations, even if that means writing brand new music.
Rebecca's world is turned upside down in less than twenty-four hours, all because of a cowboy who can play the piano a little too well.
