This is set during the scene when Snake, Tarantula, Shark, and Piranha are back at their now-empty hideout after leaving Wolf at the beach with Diane. When Snake's act of giving a crying Shark the last push-pop is pointed out by the others as good, Snake gets into an argument about how his existence as a 'bad guy' isn't changed in the slightest before storming off.
