Official reports detailing the first contact between Tau and Tyranids state that what happened to the planet Sha’draig was a result of misfortune. The official reports are wrong.
Un has never fitted in with other Tau. It's only when the Tyranids invade his home planet that he finds out why. What he also learns is that it's up to him not just to face the Tyranid threat but also uncover the treachery at the highest levels of Tau society.
