Diana glared at her, hands balled into fists. The man had stopped paying attention to them and was letting bits of ash from the end of his cigarette drop to the ground like fallen snow.
“Oh, don’t give me that look.” She gestured to both of them to continue walking beside her. “I’m doing you a favor—in my line of work, people learn these kinds of things about you and use them to hurt you. If you have no weaknesses to exploit, it makes it that much harder for people to get under your skin.”
