Yes, if Jimmy writes the last paragraph to Tango's story, he'll pass on for real, and leave this miserable place for good. It just happens to be that Detective Solidarity also has a really cute cat.
TLDR: Tango becomes a ghost and decides to help Detective Solidarity solve his murder case, because that would bring him the closure he needs to move on.

The person had a hand on his head as if dizzy and fell to the ground. Her orders were to raid in and take everything they could with them. She felt like she recognized this person, but from where she’s not sure. Techno continued to study the person even through the chaos all around her. The person had freckles under his eyes and on his nose, his skin was the color of milk in coffee. Techno was forced to stop studying the person, when a defender of L’manburg came over to attack her. She unsheathed her sword with a Shing, pink braid swinging in the motion, she made a quick SLASH and her opponent was down. The person Techno was studying started to blink open their eyes and sit up.
The moment Techno saw the lime green eyes she recognized him, “Clay?”

It started off as a small thing, a brief summary of the week sent off to a group of people who’d file Xisuma’s report in some archive or something - he didn’t know the full details. Then individual hermits started sharing their perspectives of the week - sorting out inaccuracies, defending their honour, or just providing an insight into events that Xisuma may have missed. Word spread, and now, by the end of each week, Xisuma would have a stack of papers ready to be sent off and organised. This week, however, the stack was significantly shorter, with eight hermit’s absences weighing deeply on Xisuma’s mind.
Or, each week the hermits contribute to an archive of files, all recapping the events of the week. The files contained within this document detail the initial reaction to the "Third Life" server - when the hermits found out some of their own were missing, when they found out what happened to the missing hermits, and more.

Now if only she could get some contestants for this game show, maybe the producers would stop trying to shut it down.
