I ended up leaving and moved back when my friend Louis returned while Scott was in a deep sleep due to a curse by a witch. Before Louis died, he turned a young sickly man and I decided to leave because Louis finally found a companion. However, the townspeople killed my best friend leaving poor Owen alone and depressed. In his mourning he killed the townspeople but some people got away.
I come back to Oakhurst to find 6 fledglings roaming and Scott shacking it up with Owen. However, Owen is unstable and Scott feels it's not his place to reign Owen in. Owen needs guidance, someone to love him, and from what I'm seeing everyone kicks him to the side because he's not their sire.
