After all, it couldn't be that difficult, especially with his ability to hear the animals in his mind. What he didn't expect was to become his own experiment. Little by little, he was becoming a Raptor and would soon be able to switch between two forms. But deep down, that didn't matter to him. His pack was his family, and Blue was the only one who made his heart beat faster than a war drum. But when everything he knew starts to change, Owen discovers that having the heart of a Raptor isn't enough to save his family. He needs to be a Raptor and choose between the two worlds he lives in: Human and Dinosaur. But maybe that's an easier decision than he imagines.

Raptors. Ever since the original Jurassic Park, the animals had proven themselves to be the bane of Ingens' existence. If there was any animal that had proven itself capable of causing chaos, it was them. Even the rexes hadn't been nearly as bad, despite being several times larger. Yet Simon knew there could be a certain wow factor if they got it right with the raptors. All the same though, he knew he couldn't expect the raptors to be integrated half as smoothly as any other animal in the park, and Dr. Grant refused to offer his own insight onto how they could perhaps integrate such deadly animals. Ingen was performing their own experiments with raptors still, but then again, they didn't exactly have to worry about several thousand tourists being put on the menu anymore.
Not to mention he couldn't oversee such a project personally. He was a busy man after all, and though he trusted Claire he knew that running the entirety of the park was difficult as is. It was this particular line of thinking that eventually lead him to Owen Grady. Expert animal trainer, military background, and from what he was able to gather the man was a rather personable fellow. "Henry? I believe we have our trainer."

She understood so much more of the world with the augmentations that Vault-Tec had given her, and while she was disgusted by the humans’ lack of regulations, like she had told Owen earlier, the additions proved useful, so they were welcome.
In the before, as Blue had taken to calling it, she could rarely understand the garbled tongue that her alpha used. She recognized the cadence of the words he trained the pack with, the sound of the clicker that Owen had used early on when she and her sisters were nothing but pups. Now, however, she understood him perfectly.
