Summary
In the year 2363, two strangers arrive on the cold Cardassian space station in orbit of Bajor, Terok Nor. One is a shapeshifter in search of himself, the other a Ferengi looking to make a tidy profit. Odo and Quark have a lot to learn about what it means to be a part of something greater than themselves, but the final years of the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor are filled with turmoil. The last thing either of them expect is to find a sense of home in the chaos. They can only hope to survive long enough to tell the tale.
This is a DS9 prequel investigating Quark and Odo’s lives on the station 5 years prior to the arrival of the Federation. The Occupation was a difficult time, but we intend to deliver a healthy dose of shenanigans and silliness as well as canon-typical controversy. Oh, and some feelings get involved too.
