Summary
After two disastrous homes, Prompto is adopted once again. In his first home with his biological father, all he knew was fear. In his second home, he learned taking care of himself was harder than he thought. Now in his third home at age twelve with Ignis Scientia, he’s not sure what will happen next. Whether he trusts his new father or not is still unclear.
Ignis is thirty-two years old, finally deciding to adopt a kid. When he found Prompto, he knew that he had made the right decision. All Ignis wants is to give Prompto the life he deserves.
Noctis Lucis Caelum is the son of a politician in Insomnia. Though he can’t say he remembers him too well. When Noctis was six, Regis had Noctis move to Altissia with his Uncle Gladio so he’d be safer. Now when he’s twelve, he can’t help but feel a little guilty for seeing Gladio as his father more than the one he forgot. At least the new kid at school can take his mind off of it.
Gladio was thirty-three years old. A personal trainer with a sporadic schedule. But he always makes sure he has the time to take care of Noctis. Because Noctis is like a son to him and it’s his duty to take care of him.
Their paths were simply meant to collide.

“And then today! Astrals damn me today, you with your guns. I almost died just watching you.” Noctis cuts him off, whirling on him with all the force of a man trained to take down daemons, but Prompto is clearly closer than he thought, and his eyes go wide, indigo in the evening light.

Summary
Prompto had gotten to the Crystal just as it finished swallowing Noctis. In a single moment, he ran at the Crystal and ended up being taken by it as well.
Within that magical space he found Noctis, but also Bahamut. Surprisingly, the Astral wasn't angry at Prompto, but instead granted him a gift for his efforts.
Now, Prompto is back out of the Crystal with a large pair of feathery wings on his back, and he has no idea how to use them.

Gladio and Noctis hatch a plan to prevent Ignis from spending his entire vacation working by enlisting Prompto to be Ignis’s "Fun Coordinator" for the whole week. By Royal Decree.
Ignis, of course, is not on board with this plan, even if he has no choice but to obey. He can't decide which part is worse: relinquishing control of his daily schedule to someone else, the fact that refusal means he suffers the consequences of disobeying His Royal Pain-in-the-Ass, or that he has to awkwardly navigate an entire week trying (and failing) to hide his infatuation with Prompto.
Surely, no good can come of this.

The blond falls dramatically back onto his butt. “Oh em gee that is so cute!” Noctis oddly wishes he were talking about him. “Does she like...stop to climb trees? I feel like walking a cat would be a weird, 3D adventure.”
Noctis can’t help the laugh that escapes him. “It kind of is, yeah."
