They say her name was Kassandra, a long time ago.
It almost suits her. She is beautiful, with eyes the colour of honey, deep brown hair that catches shades of amber in the sun, and shining bronze skin. But it is not Kassandra who butchers men in their dozens and razes towns to the ground. Now they call her Deimos. It is just as much a prophecy as a name. She inspires terror in everyone she meets, prolific in nightmares across the Greek world, but never appearing to encounter fear herself.
Most worryingly, when she speaks, everybody listens, and Aspasia can’t seem to look away.
