Peter Parker is not living his best life as Spider-Man. That life had been back when he first got his powers and won the heart of Gwen Stacy, even if it was shadowed by Uncle Ben's death.
But then the Green Goblin came, revealed himself to be Peter’s once best friend, and pushed Gwen Stacy to her death.
In a desperate attempt to start over away from all grief, Aunt May decides both she and Peter need to move to a different side of New York.
A new home… Certainly, that has to be the best option, right?
Except new brings with it all sorts of issues: ‘new’ faces at a new school that doesn’t want Peter, a ‘new’ stage of cancer that May was hopeful would never return.
And 'new' can be a new form of villain who doesn’t want to harm people on a global scale but one Peter Parker. Calling himself the Timekeeper, he freezes time and everyone he wishes to, leaving Peter alone to walk and witness unimaginable horrors, over and over until the Timekeeper has had his fun and undoes everything and resumes time.
Leaving no one but Peter to remember.
How can he stop the Timekeeper? When he can just rewind time if he ever receives a fatal blow? And when Peter can’t even prove his existence?

Peter always knew he was the odd one out in his family. It wasn't like he didn't try, he did try to be apart of the family just when he was younger and it never worked. He was never able to connect with anyone, at least not the way Harley connected with their dad, or the way Morgan had everyone wrapped around her little finger since the day she was born.
Peter was just there, in a way he believed that he wasn't important, not to his family anyway. That was what he always believed, at least before he got his powers and became the one and only Spider-man.
